Restaurant Lust in Traunstein

Jetzt weis ich warum es Lust heißt........die Angestellten arbeiten je nach Lust und Laune. Waren gute 2 Stunden vor Ort.... Das Personal war sehr unaufmerksam Es wurde nicht einmal gefragt ob man noch etwas trinken möchte(Gläser leer,also blieb es bei einem Getränk). Bin ins Lokal rein gegangen um mit der bitte, meine Rechnung zu bezahlen, dass ging richtig zügig. Ich habe ehrlich gesagt, kein Trinkgeld gegeben. Ich werde Lust auf keinen Fall mehr betreten!!!!

Wir waren zu fünft am Sonntag, 10.05 zum Frühstück, es gab Büffet, da Muttertag war. Ausgesprochen lecker, viel Selbstgemachtes, vegane Bowls, leckerer Käse und Schinken, Brot, Eier jeglicher Art, Fruchtsaft, Fruchtsalat mit selbstgemachten Granola, Rote Beete Carpaccio und da Muttertag war gab es für die Damen ein Glas Prosecco, ein Gedicht und trotz viel Andrang der Service war sehr zuvorkommend. Am 29.05 Pfingstmontag waren wir wieder zu Fünft zum Frühstück, sehr lecker, hatten Käsefrühstück und Lustfrühstück, auch der Service war wieder hervorragend. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis 16 bis 17€ mit einem Heissgetränk völlig in Ordnung. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Wir hatten ein super leckeres Frühstück als Familie - das Frühstück für 2 Personen hat uns mit kleineren Kindern zu viert gereicht. Kindercappucino gab’s gratis dazu. Service flott und auffallend nett. Kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren heute zum frühstücken im Café Lust. Schon die telefonische Reservierung war sehr freundlich, auch heute früh wurden wir nett empfangen, auf sämtliche Sonderwünsche wurde unkompliziert eingegangen. Das Frühstück kam schnell und war sehr schön angerichtet. Es hat sehr gut geschmeckt, viele regionale Produkte und was mir sehr positiv aufgefallen ist: keine Einzelverpackungen aus Plastik, sondern alles (Butter, Marmelade, Nutella) in kleinen Schalen reichlich angerichtet! Wir kommen gerne wieder! 👍👍👍 Kartenzahlung ist möglich!

Das Restaurant war zuvorkommend und Christian war so hilfsbereit, ich schätze seinen Service sehr, und das Essen war himmlisch, die besten Burger, die ich je gegessen habe.

Leckeres und qualitativ hochwertiges Essen an einer schönen Straße gelegen. Service war leider nicht gut. Lange Wartezeit bis jemand kommt, sei Personal und das Essen. Mitarbeiter war jedoch freundlich.

Bin sehr gerne zum frühstücken dort. Die Lage ist zentral und sonnig. Das Personal sehr freundlich und vieles ist hier definitiv selbstgemacht. Das schmeckt man!

Haben durch das Gutscheinbuch zum Ostermarkt das Restaurant aufgesucht. Der Burger war sehr groß und mit frischem selbstgemachtem Kartoffelrösti, die Potatoe Dippers mit SourCream sehr lecker - das Fleisch war leider bei beiden Burgern ein bisschen trocken - aber alles in allem schmackhaft ☺️🍔

Wir waren gestern das erste Mal im LUST...und es hat tatsächlich "Lust" auf eine Wiederholung gemacht✌🏻 😁 Bedienungen sehr nett...schöne Getränke & Speisenauswahl...und das wichtigste - es hat super geschmeckt👍🏻 Wir hatten einen Lachburger mit Spinat aus dem Tagesangebot und einen Pulledpork-Burger. Beide Burgen waren top👍🏻 Vielen lieben Dank ✌🏻

Es gibt eine gute vegane Bowl und Hafermilch💖, ich wünschte es gäbe noch mehr vegane Optionen (am besten natürlich alles vegan aber naja wir sind in Bayern) Ich verstehe auch die vielen negativen bewertungen nicht es waren immer alle freundlich und ja, manchmal dauert es einen ticken länger aber das finde ich persönlich überhaupt nicht schlimm, wenn man schon essen geht kann man auch ein bisschen Zeit mitbringen finde ich. (außerdem es ist nicht wie das schiller, weil es nicht schiller IST rafft euch mal) komme immer gerne her🫶

Wir haben sehr lange gewartet bis wir bedient wurden, außerdem haben wir uns ein Focaccia bestellt und bekamen für den stolzen Preis ein kleines Häppchen.

Wir waren zum Valentinstagsmenü da. Das Essen war rundum gelungen und sehr Service super nett. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Das Personal hat offenbar keine Lust zu arbeiten. Nichts los, trotzdem dauert es über eine halbe Stunde bis zwei Getränke gebracht werden. Ich bin wohlgemerkt nachgekommen, alle anderen waren bereits versorgt. Die Bestellung habe ich am Tresen aufgegeben, danach dauert es nochmal 15 Minuten einen Cappuccino und eine Limo zu bringen - bei einem weiteren besetzten Tisch. Absolut unwürdig. Ich frage mich ernsthaft, wie der Laden sich halten kann.

Wir kamen zur Stoßzeit an und rechneten daher mit Wartezeit. Doch die Wartezeit war lang. Der Service war zwar sehr freundlich, aber während des Essens fragte niemand nach, ob wir noch etwas trinken möchten oder ob alles in Ordnung sei. Wir hätten gerne noch etwas zu trinken bestellt. Die Preise sind hoch, und da selbst Pommes nicht im Preis inbegriffen sind, lohnt sich ein Besuch nur einmal. Die Pommes werden in einem kleinen Körbchen serviert, was eine clevere Art ist, die Portionsgröße zu kontrollieren. Dem Restaurant würde etwas Hintergrundmusik guttun. Wir hatten einen Gutschein geschenkt bekommen, aber selbst damit war es teuer.

Essen ist super und Personal auch sehr freundlich! Leider haben wir bei unsern letzten Besuch fast eine ganze Stunde auf unser Essen warten müssen, was wahrscheinlich an der Auslastung gelegen hat. Trotzdem freue ich mich auf den nächsten besuch.

Preisleistungsverhältnis beim Burger passt leider überhaupt nicht. Patty viel zu klein, kein Geschmack und kalt. Leider nicht essbar Schade.

Heute war es leider nicht gut. Wir mussten eine halbe Stunde warten bis unsere Bestellung aufgenommen wurde. Bis der Kaffee dann da war, hat es nochmal eine halbe Stunde gedauert. Dabei wurde dann erst ein Kuchen vergessen. Später noch eine heiße Schokolade. Unser Nachbartisch ist nach einer halben Stunde wieder gegangen, da keiner zur Bestellungsaufnahme kam. Wir waren insgesamt fast zwei Stunden da. In der gesamten Zeit stand das benutzte Geschirr unserer Vorgänger auf dem Tisch rum und wurde nicht abgeräumt. Wir haben es gesammelt und zusammen gestellt.

Wunderschönes, geräumiges, modernes Restaurant. Die Mitarbeiter sind mega freundlich und das Essen (Power Bowl) war fantastisch. Ein perfekter Ort dem Alltag zu entfliehen.

Gemütlich ist es und das Personal super freundlich. Wir haben Mittag gegessen, aber es gibt auch selbst gemachten Kuchen 🍰.

The lunch menu was great for the price, the service very friendly and attentive, BUT one thing shocked me: the personal hygiene of one of the waiters. When he brought me the wine, his fingernails were as long and black as an East German blind mouse's. ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE!

We celebrated our wedding reception at Restaurant Lust in Traunstein on December 12, 2025, and were absolutely thrilled. The decorations were beautiful and designed with great attention to detail, the food was excellent, and the service was attentive and professional throughout the evening. The planning beforehand was also very pleasant and straightforward. Many thanks to Steffi and her team for this unforgettable evening – highly recommended, excellent value for money!

The ambiance is very inviting and warm, as is the staff. Wonderful wooden furnishings with ample warm white lighting. In the background, quieter interpretations of familiar music accompany the proceedings. Audible, but not too loud or so quiet that you have to guess what's playing. The food arrives promptly and is excellent in every respect. In short, a definite must-visit for anyone passing through.

We had breakfast at Lust today. We had breakfast for two. It was beautifully presented and there was something for everyone. There was plenty, and the leftovers were nicely packaged for us to take with us. We received very friendly service. They treated us very attentively. This certainly won't be our last visit. Had a great meal, was looking for a meat menu but they had vegetarian food here but it was tasty, plate was empty and they had good beer and wine, parking is paid until 6 pm on weekdays

We went there for the first time yesterday. What struck me as incredibly positive was the pleasant atmosphere created by the beautiful lighting and music in the restaurant. The food was also excellent, with a delicious selection of vegan dishes. We had the summer rolls, the falafel burger with sweet potato fries, and the poke bowl and were completely satisfied. The portions were also quite filling. The staff was friendly and helpful. We'd love to come back ☺️

The chicken burger was very, very tasty. The service is top, super friendly... Ambience is good.

It's a treat to dine in this restaurant after spending days on rustic, home-style cooking on vacation. The fresh, youthful cuisine with regional ingredients is highly recommended. The varied children's menu will also delight younger family members, and the good wine and fresh local beer are a treat for the older ones. We felt very comfortable here.

My simple breakfast was not that simple, its overloaded with scrambled egg and bacon. Yummmm! Would love to go back there for lunch or dinner next time, I saw a lot of great looking dishes on Google Maps reviews and can't wait to try! Cappuccino was great aswell by the way, and the staff are super friendly and accommodating! I enjoyed my time spent there and would recommend my friends and family to dine there :)

We were at Restaurant Lust today. What can I say other than that it was absolutely perfect. From the welcome to the farewell, it was perfect. The staff is extremely friendly, and your every wish is fulfilled. The ambiance is relaxing and you lose track of time and space. The breakfast was fresh and an absolute feast for the palate. The eggs were cooked to perfection. We would love to come back. We felt very comfortable, and it was the perfect start to the day for us. Thank you very much.

"Lust" impressed us again on our second visit. Attentive service, very good food (we had various bowls and burgers), and making a reservation via email went smoothly. The menu is rather small, but that's always a positive feature for me. Particularly noteworthy: The children's dishes (fish fingers with fries) were served very stylishly on "regular" dishes, with hand-cut (?) fries and ketchup in a ceramic bowl. It was truly a feast for the eyes – something you can't always say about children's dishes... There's a small playground in the back garden by the terrace, and highchairs are available. We were once again completely satisfied and will definitely stop by again on our next visit to Traunstein!

At "Lust," the food is excellent, and the service is attentive, friendly, and fast. Combined with the harmonious ambiance, it's absolutely recommended!

A really good cafe/restaurant, centrally located in Traunstein. Friendly service and a very diverse menu; even health-conscious people will find something here. Today we had a healthy bowl with asparagus soup from the €10.90 lunch menu; it was delicious! It's also nice to sit outside, and it's right near the train station. Highly recommended!

Very nice ambiance, with plenty of outdoor seating. Friendly service & really good food! We had the burgers and a couscous bowl, and it was definitely worth it. We were a bit skeptical at first because the prices were quite high, but it was definitely the best burger in a very long time! We'd be happy to go back :)

Very pleasant restaurant, friendly service and also busy at lunchtime during the week. Even when I had to return my starter, I quickly found a tasty replacement. Burgers were ordered as the main course. Goods super good. And very appetizingly prepared. We would be happy to come back. The day before I heard about the "nice toilet" on the radio - I find that kind of thing very customer-oriented anyway. Thank you.

Edit: The service has now improved a lot, which is why I like going to Lust, the food is very tasty and, above all, varied and fresh. You're doing a great job. Modern concept that has so far stood out due to poor service. I was happy that a new, interesting restaurant was opening in Traunstein. On my first visit on the second opening day, the order took forever and was incomplete (bread was only brought after asking twice). Of course it can happen on the second day and it's not a big drama. So today another second chance for “Lust”. In short, after almost 45 minutes, my companion and I left without ordering, even though the restaurant was far from full. Conclusion: It's a shame, because I really like the restaurant and the concept behind it, but the necessary know-how is missing (at least in the service area).

If you are looking for a healthy diet made from fresh ingredients, you should eat somewhere else. All dishes with tons of sugar (whether in the form of carbohydrates or sugar directly) Taste test: Ready-made sauces for burgers with ready-made patties, cheap oil (vegetable or seed oil), etc. If you try to adjust something, the port will be smaller at full price.

This restaurant was simply amazing! The food was delicious, but what really made the evening special was our waiter - incredibly friendly, attentive and just a force to be reckoned with! If I were his boss, I would pay him double because he absolutely deserves it. A real gem in this place. I'll definitely be back!

The Lust restaurant is really nice. The food was very tasty and fresh. The atmosphere is cozy and modern. The waiter was super nice and friendly. He gave us good advice and was always helpful. You can tell that he enjoys his job. I will definitely come back and can only recommend the restaurant!

Delicious but the table wasn't fully served and one person only got their food when everyone else was already finished. But you can absolutely recommend the lunch menu for the price.

We were there today for a birthday party. The waiter was very friendly and quick, the breakfast was very tasty. A very nice ambience with a cozy atmosphere and finally a café where it was nice and warm, there was even a wood stove.

The restaurant is actually quite nice, but unfortunately the price doesn't match the quality. I've been there three times now and unfortunately I can't give it more than 3 stars. For example, you pay over €20 for a burger with a frozen patty that was very dry and thin last time. That's just a shame and unnecessary for a restaurant that certainly has higher standards. I hope for improvement and I'll be happy to go there again.

Nice restaurant/café. Very central in Traunstein (near the train station). Not cheap in price - but the food is very high quality. Courteous service. This is a clear recommendation from me.

We became aware of the restaurant through the voucher book and tried it out. We were totally thrilled. It tasted great, super good and was beautifully and lovingly prepared. Really highly recommended. The Bavarian owners provide great service and are also relaxed, nice and personable.

I had the Brezl Rösti Burger in December and February, which tastes very good, but it's getting smaller and smaller for the same price... (see photos) The chicken burger was ok, but you can't say anything more about it.

Charging an extra €0.90 for milk alternatives (oat milk) is absolutely not appropriate for a modern restaurant.

You can put together your own salad - simply by ticking on a pre-printed card. The best salad I've ever eaten anywhere. Lots of ingredients and the best dressing! Super nice staff and great weekly specials!

We were visiting Traunstein as a family on a Monday evening and chose the “Lust” restaurant because it was one of the few that was open on Mondays - a decision we definitely didn't regret! As soon as we entered we were warmly welcomed and despite not having a reservation we had a free choice of seats. Particularly attentive: A child seat was immediately provided for our daughter. We were immediately impressed by the cozy atmosphere with a beautifully decorated Christmas tree and a warm fireplace. The restaurant is extremely family-friendly - there were painting materials, books and games, so our little one also got her money's worth. The service staff was exceptionally friendly, attentive and pleasantly unobtrusive. We decided on the Monday specials on the menu, which were not only served quickly but were also very tasty. My burger was an absolute highlight: I've never eaten one like it! It was by far the best burger of my life. The potato wedges with the homemade sour cream were also a dream. The other dishes were also perfectly balanced and simply delicious. We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening in a pleasant, warm atmosphere. If we are in the area again, we will definitely come back. Absolute recommendation!

Wonderful food and relatively cheap

The day after our wedding we had breakfast in the Lust restaurant with around 20 people and a few children. The contact and arrangements in advance with the owners were super friendly and uncomplicated. The breakfast was absolutely great both visually and in terms of taste and definitely exceeded our expectations. The service staff were super friendly, attentive and were happy with us. The outdoor area with play space for the children was perfect for us. As soon as we arrived, the owner apologized because there were still pallets lying around from the previous evening. However, these didn't bother us in any way. We also found the very fact that this was being thought about very thoughtful. We had ordered breakfast for two for our guests several times and added little things to it. In the end, the price was definitely fair. We and ALL our guests were completely satisfied and enthusiastic and full of praise 👍🏼 We will definitely come back and can only recommend the Lust restaurant

Celebrated our son's baptism here. Food, service, everything was great! They really put a lot of effort into looking after us, highly recommended for smaller celebrations 🥂

We have been to Lust several times and recently celebrated a big birthday there. The food is always delicious, especially the falafel is a poem. The service is personal, courteous and friendly! The rooms and the garden are also great. Only the toilets might need to be renovated. But we'd love to come back any time!!

I always look forward to Thursdays, when it's time for a lunch break! I'm always there with my colleague and we're both thrilled. We've never left without a smile on our face because it was so delicious. This variety is adapted to the seasons, the lunch menu is varied and there is something for everyone!!
