A beloved family establishment where exceptional food and genuine warmth make every visit special

Food: I've been here several times in recent years. The quality has unfortunately declined. The beef was very tough. We seem to remember that there were more vegetarian and/or vegan dishes last year. For vegetarians 🌱 or vegans, there are basically only salads or side dishes. Service: Friendly, but the promised table wasn't provided. Atmosphere: Okay, a bit crowded when all the tables are occupied.

We love Lebanese food and have been to many restaurants. The food here was by far the best we've had so far. Truly incredibly delicious. The service was also attentive and very friendly. The restaurant is located in the sports hall building and has a lovely terrace with evening sun. We'll be back!

It was our first time at Le Cedre. Very friendly service and delicious, healthy food made with natural ingredients. From the appetizer to the main course and the dessert, which we received on the house, everything was excellent. We will definitely visit Le Cedre again soon. Best regards

Very good Lebanese cuisine! We've been there twice already, and both times it was excellent. The location on the Seerhein is lovely, especially at sunset, and there's plenty of parking nearby.

Good food, beautifully presented, and friendly service. The terrace offers quiet seating, with some tables overlooking the water. The ambiance is rather simple, and the restrooms are clean. A bit pricey, but then, it's Konstanz.

My daughter and I went to this restaurant for dinner again today. Unfortunately, it often gets forgotten because it's out of the way. The food is very fresh and delicious. The owner's son was very accommodating and super friendly. I highly recommend it!

Yes. The restaurant is beautifully bright and spacious. Because of the rain, we couldn't sit on the terrace. It's almost right on the water. The staff is very attentive, and the food is delicious. Whether it's a starter or a main course, the prices are quite reasonable. We'd be happy to go back.

We booked a birthday catering service for 50 people here in June and were absolutely thrilled. After a canceled meeting (which initially put us off because it was only canceled on-site due to staff shortages), we were able to easily sort everything out via email. The process went super smoothly and as agreed, and the food was amazing – very well-priced portions, something for everyone, and high-quality ingredients. They were very flexible with the menu selection (we wanted a change and got everything gluten-free) and even gave us a bonus dish as an apology for the canceled appointment. In total, we ended up paying €1,800 for everything, which was a fantastic price for this catering service. We couldn't have made a better choice. Big thanks to the team for the fantastic catering.

The restaurant is right next to the sports hall. Simple decor. Friendly, helpful service. We were there as a group and had to wait a while for the food to arrive. It's ideal for sharing. The quality of the food was good, but not outstanding. We had various small dishes similar to tapas (almost the entire menu).

We waited at least an hour for our food, and it took 30 minutes for us to get our menu. The host wasn't very nice, and the only reason for the second star is the relatively good food.

Delicious food and fast service

I went to La Cedre Konstanz with several friends on Saturday, and we ordered mixed grills and mezze. Unfortunately, the food was not prepared properly at all; in some places it was almost raw and tasted disappointing. Even worse, however, was the service: The staff was rude and disrespectful from the start. When I went to the restroom, there weren't even paper towels. When I politely asked, I was angrily told to wipe my hands on my clothes—that's absolutely unacceptable! I have photos of the food and the bill as proof, and I believe the restaurant should compensate us for this experience. This simply shouldn't happen!

We went to Le Cèdre last night for the first time, and certainly not the last. Everything was perfect for us. The food was superbly seasoned, of very good quality and authentic – with a modern twist. All ingredients were cooked/grilled to perfection and the meat was succulent. We really enjoyed the ambiance. All the staff were very friendly and quick, even though the terrace was very busy and the weather was perfect. We had a quick chat with the owner and learned that starting in the fall they'll be hosting themed evenings with Lebanese wine pairings. A great idea! Anyone in the know knows that the country offers top-quality wines. We think the location is great, as it's a bit off the beaten track and yet right on the Rhine. A wonderful place, not just in summer. We will be back in the cooler months too. I recommend making a reservation if you want to enjoy the view of the Rhine.

Each dish had its own special touch, beautifully seasoned with fresh herbs. Lovely location by the lake – it's just a shame there isn't a mixed platter with the great vegetarian mezze to try, but otherwise, it's excellent!

Very disappointing experience I visited during an event on Saturday and unfortunately had a very negative experience. The venue seemed understaffed we tried to get help several times but were ignored each time. It was frustrating, especially during a busy event. The food wasn’t properly cooked, particularly the meat, and the overall cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Even the utensils on the table looked like they hadn’t been cleaned thoroughly. This place has potential, but the current level of service and hygiene is not acceptable. I hope the management takes this seriously and improves, especially if they plan to host more events in the future. Answering your comment: I’m certain that I was at your restaurant during the event, but instead of apologizing, you’re denying my presence. And instead of admitting your mistake, you’re trying to polish your image in front of others. What kind of terrible restaurant is this?? Are you implying that I’m stupid and don’t even know which restaurant I was in? Or what exactly are you trying to do? There were three of us dining – I had the Mashewi Mschakal (three grilled skewers), while my wife and daughter shared the mezza with falafel, warak enab (stuffed vine leaves), makdous, and zaytoun (three different dishes). Everything was very fresh, lovingly prepared, and tasted excellent! The portions were absolutely generous, so everyone was full and satisfied. We finished off with dessert – this was also delicious and rounded off the meal perfectly. The service was friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was inviting. If we're ever back at Lake Constance, we'll definitely be back – highly recommended!

An insider tip in Konstanz! If you like Mediterranean-Oriental cuisine, this is the place for you. Wonderful wines (including Lebanese) and delicious homemade dishes. Host Rabi is authentic and open to all questions. We highly recommend Le Cèdre.

I ate there - unfortunately a rather mixed experience. The service was friendly and attentive, which has to be emphasized positively. But: I would have expected much more for the prices. The food was okay but definitely overpriced. What's not possible: There wasn't even soap in the toilet - an absolute no-go, especially these days. Hygiene should be a given in a restaurant.
