This place is amazing, very delicious food and very friendly staff with an amazing view of the river and green areas.

We booked a birthday catering service for 50 people here in June and were absolutely thrilled. After a canceled meeting (which initially put us off because it was only canceled on-site due to staff shortages), we were able to easily sort everything out via email. The process went super smoothly and as agreed, and the food was amazing – very well-priced portions, something for everyone, and high-quality ingredients. They were very flexible with the menu selection (we wanted a change and got everything gluten-free) and even gave us a bonus dish as an apology for the canceled appointment. In total, we ended up paying €1,800 for everything, which was a fantastic price for this catering service. We couldn't have made a better choice. Big thanks to the team for the fantastic catering.

The restaurant is right next to the sports hall. Simple decor. Friendly, helpful service. We were there as a group and had to wait a while for the food to arrive. It's ideal for sharing. The quality of the food was good, but not outstanding. We had various small dishes similar to tapas (almost the entire menu).

We waited at least an hour for our food, and it took 30 minutes for us to get our menu. The host wasn't very nice, and the only reason for the second star is the relatively good food.

Delicious food and fast service

I went to La Cedre Konstanz with several friends on Saturday, and we ordered mixed grills and mezze. Unfortunately, the food was not prepared properly at all; in some places it was almost raw and tasted disappointing. Even worse, however, was the service: The staff was rude and disrespectful from the start. When I went to the restroom, there weren't even paper towels. When I politely asked, I was angrily told to wipe my hands on my clothes—that's absolutely unacceptable! I have photos of the food and the bill as proof, and I believe the restaurant should compensate us for this experience. This simply shouldn't happen!

We went to Le Cèdre last night for the first time, and certainly not the last. Everything was perfect for us. The food was superbly seasoned, of very good quality and authentic – with a modern twist. All ingredients were cooked/grilled to perfection and the meat was succulent. We really enjoyed the ambiance. All the staff were very friendly and quick, even though the terrace was very busy and the weather was perfect. We had a quick chat with the owner and learned that starting in the fall they'll be hosting themed evenings with Lebanese wine pairings. A great idea! Anyone in the know knows that the country offers top-quality wines. We think the location is great, as it's a bit off the beaten track and yet right on the Rhine. A wonderful place, not just in summer. We will be back in the cooler months too. I recommend making a reservation if you want to enjoy the view of the Rhine.

Each dish had its own special touch, beautifully seasoned with fresh herbs. Lovely location by the lake – it's just a shame there isn't a mixed platter with the great vegetarian mezze to try, but otherwise, it's excellent!

There were three of us dining – I had the Mashewi Mschakal (three grilled skewers), while my wife and daughter shared the mezza with falafel, warak enab (stuffed vine leaves), makdous, and zaytoun (three different dishes). Everything was very fresh, lovingly prepared, and tasted excellent! The portions were absolutely generous, so everyone was full and satisfied. We finished off with dessert – this was also delicious and rounded off the meal perfectly. The service was friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was inviting. If we're ever back at Lake Constance, we'll definitely be back – highly recommended!

Very disappointing experience I visited during an event on Saturday and unfortunately had a very negative experience. The venue seemed understaffed we tried to get help several times but were ignored each time. It was frustrating, especially during a busy event. The food wasn’t properly cooked, particularly the meat, and the overall cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Even the utensils on the table looked like they hadn’t been cleaned thoroughly. This place has potential, but the current level of service and hygiene is not acceptable. I hope the management takes this seriously and improves, especially if they plan to host more events in the future. Answering your comment: I’m certain that I was at your restaurant during the event, but instead of apologizing, you’re denying my presence. And instead of admitting your mistake, you’re trying to polish your image in front of others. What kind of terrible restaurant is this?? Are you implying that I’m stupid and don’t even know which restaurant I was in? Or what exactly are you trying to do? A hidden gem in Konstanz! Le Cèdre offers authentic Lebanese cuisine of the highest quality. The terrace overlooking the Seerhein River is breathtaking, especially at sunset. The mezze selection is perfect for sharing, and the meat skewers are tender and flavorful. The Lebanese wines complete the experience. The friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere make every visit special. If you want to enjoy Mediterranean cuisine with a view, this is the place for you!

An insider tip in Konstanz! If you like Mediterranean-Oriental cuisine, this is the place for you. Wonderful wines (including Lebanese) and delicious homemade dishes. Host Rabi is authentic and open to all questions. We highly recommend Le Cèdre.

I ate there - unfortunately a rather mixed experience. The service was friendly and attentive, which has to be emphasized positively. But: I would have expected much more for the prices. The food was okay but definitely overpriced. What's not possible: There wasn't even soap in the toilet - an absolute no-go, especially these days. Hygiene should be a given in a restaurant.

Insider tip! Wow, super delicious food, very nice staff, great view of the sunset. We discovered this restaurant spontaneously and it was fantastic. We eat vegan and had a lot of choice. The wait for the food wasn't long, all the dishes came to the table almost at the same time and were beautifully presented. My meal was excellent, the portion size was generous. I recently went to this wonderful restaurant and can highly recommend it! The food was simply excellent – ​​fresh, perfectly flavored and beautifully presented. And the boss is just incredibly nice and personally ensures that every guest feels comfortable. An all-round successful experience! I'll definitely be back! Despite the somewhat remote location and the fact that it is rather a large room with no separation, it seemed very cozy in the evening. Very warm beautiful lighting. The service was very nice and always quick to help. The food was beautifully presented. However, I deducted one point because I missed the special spice/surprise effect in some dishes that I otherwise know from Lebanese cuisine. Price performance ratio top. We had 2.5 mezzes and a salad and were more than full 🙂
