Ikrams in Konstanz

We celebrated our 10th anniversary at this beautiful restaurant. The atmosphere was fantastic, the staff incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food was simply divine—we enjoyed every bite. The homemade lemonades are perfect and refreshing. The surprise for my husband on his birthday was also simply wonderful. If I could award a million stars, I would do it in a heartbeat!

I ordered the chops at the Lebanese restaurant and haven't experienced such perfect preparation of meat in a long time – tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The ambiance is very pleasant and inviting. My allergies to certain spices were taken into account, and the food was prepared exactly to my liking. The restaurant is very centrally located near the train station. There's a large parking lot about 200 meters away where you can park easily. All in all: highly recommended, even for families with children.

There were four of us and we enjoyed everything. Definitely go there to eat :)

Brilliant food, very attentive waiter and price was decent for what we received. However, lamb with Hommous was very small in size for price.

After traveling and eating in many Arab countries, we wanted to try an Arabic restaurant in our hometown. A very hectic atmosphere, too many tables in a small space, and poor acoustics. Inattentive service, small portions (not quite filling), especially for the price. The taste was okay, but nothing special.

Disappointing value for money. I find a small meze for €10 significantly overpriced. I also don't think €6.50 for tap water with a bit of lemon and mint is justified. If the prices had been fairer, I would have given it more stars. Unfortunately, only one.

Dogs are only allowed outside on the busy street. Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant!

Very tasty Lebanese food. The service was very friendly and the food came quickly, but the restaurant was a bit crowded. I would recommend making a reservation in advance, as you might not get a seat otherwise.

Starters were relatively small for the price paid. We had a grilled platter for two people; the lamb was excellent, but the kofte skewer and chicken were very dry. The price/performance ratio wasn't quite right in my opinion. Service was good, with plenty of staff. The atmosphere was inviting, but the chairs were metal and very uncomfortable. A few flies in the restaurant.

Based on my previous experience in Beirut, my wife and I were very impressed by the excellent food. The ambiance is also very pleasant. The staff is courteous and friendly, but unfortunately, our order wasn't taken completely correctly. Nevertheless, I highly recommend it. We'll definitely be back!

We had reserved a table here for a small family celebration well in advance and didn't have to wait long. When ordering our food, we were given plenty of time to choose. We ordered three mezze as starters and each a main course. The waiter asked us if we were very hungry. A warning about the large portions would have been very helpful, as we women ended up having to pack up part of our main course because we couldn't finish it. Therefore, one point deducted for service. The food itself was incredibly delicious! The restaurant was very, very crowded. The tables are very close together. The noise level is correspondingly loud. For those sitting outside, there's also the traffic noise. TIP: Be sure to reserve a table in advance!

This Lebanese food is killer. One of the best I've ever tasted. And the chops are tender and perfectly flavored. A delight.

The food was delicious, especially the shrimp and salad mix dish if I remember correctly (it definitely has pomegranate in it 😅). The service was also 5-star. What I didn't like was the Arabica coffee, but maybe that's a matter of taste.

The worst restaurant I've ever been to in Germany The service is very poor. You have to wait a long time. If there are multiple people, the food won't come together. The waiters don't listen! I will never come here.

Not only was it very overpriced, but the food was simply not good. I ordered a shrimp menu and received 3 shrimp with more vegetables than rice. The vegetables weren't even cut properly, but were left in very large pieces. The rice was also far too sour due to the lemon juice. The others weren't satisfied either; the meat was unfortunately too dry. I don't understand the hype for this price. We spent exactly 45 euros per person, without dessert and with water.

I thought it was too crazy there, so it was really delicious, I could go there every day 🤩

A great restaurant near Konstanz train station. Advance reservations are recommended, as it gets very busy. And there's a reason for that. The service is excellent, knowledgeable about the menu, and makes a great impression. Always friendly and accommodating, and they accommodate small special requests. We were very impressed here, and this is definitely a restaurant I would visit again. Paying by card is also no problem. I'm deducting one star for the ambience, as it was quite loud and every inch of the restaurant was utilized. Otherwise, I would recommend it without hesitation!

We got a table right away on a Monday without a reservation. We were quite early, and there were a lot of groups arriving right after us, so there was a wait. The food was really great, especially the starters, which were excellent for vegetarians and also tasted amazing. The staff were super friendly and always available to help.

Sehr liebevolle Gastwirtin, die sich Zeit nahm und eine natürliche Freundlichkeit ausstrahlt. Das Essen kam extrem schnell und war sehr köstlich. Wir essen ab und an libanesisch und ich muss sagen, dass die Speisen sehr ausgeglichen gewürzt sind. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

We had pickled aubergine, falafel, fried cauliflower, a salad and hummus for two people. It was more than enough and it was a feast for all senses. To that we had the lemonades, also excellent. Refreshing and most importantly not too sweet. We also had nice and attentive service.

We've been here several times, but unfortunately, reservations can't be made by phone from Switzerland. The food is top-quality; it's the best restaurant for Arabic food outside of the UAE in my area. Prices aren't cheap, but they're reasonable, if a bit high.

Delicious classic Lebanese cuisine.

The food is wonderful, highly recommended, although if you opt for mezze, it's a bit more expensive. The goat cheese with honey was my favorite; definitely try it! Unfortunately, the service is a bit inattentive, and the seating is quite tight, but otherwise, it's great.

Our first time eating Lebanese food. We found it delicious. The meat and side dishes were well-seasoned; nothing was dry; everything was crisp and perfectly cooked. The portions were a good size. The service took a little longer to reach us (compared to other restaurants, but definitely not too long), and once we ordered, we only had to wait a short time. The service and the kitchen worked well together, keep it up!

From the friendly staff to the delicious food!

Delicious food and a warm, inviting atmosphere — Ikram’s is a fantastic spot for authentic Lebanese cuisine. Everything was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. Would definitely come back for another great meal.

Very friendly service, the food came quickly, unfortunately the hummus was bitter, I didn't like the food at all. It's a shame that I still had to pay so much for it. Price performance ratio is not right. I am very very disappointed. The prices are too expensive for the portions, and in the end it doesn't taste good either, so never again.

Just had early dinner there, we were served my Mohammed - who was an amazing server. We had a variety of Mezze - cold and warm and everything was so fresh, well prepared, lovingly decorated. Will definitely go there again - I can only strongly recommend it !!

The food was always very good. Dogs are no longer allowed in the restaurant. This makes it uninteresting for us. Too bad.

The food is decent overall, though a bit overpriced for what you get it. The service was unfortunately quite disappointing. Both the hostess and waiter who served us were absolutely unfriendly, making us feel unwelcome throughout our dinner.

I've been to Ikrams twice before and both visits were really good - great food, friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately my last visit was a huge disappointment. The quality of the food was well below average. The kafta was not as usual - the parsley and onions were cut way too coarsely and the spices used had a strange taste that doesn't fit the classic Lebanese kafta at all. The spice profile of the Shish Tawouk was also very unusual and simply not authentic. Unfortunately, the Batata Harra were not fresh at all and tasted old. The falafel were crispy and tasty, but the tarator sauce was far too bitter and rather ruined the taste. Overall, I didn't have the feeling of being in a Lebanese restaurant during my last visit - the typical taste was completely missing. It's particularly a shame when you consider that the prices are quite high.

As part of the end of my Swiss tour, we went on a small and wonderful detour towards Konstanz. Beautiful city with a variety of eye-catching cafes and restaurants. I personally really liked it. However, we wanted to have something heartier before my longer trip. We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend. Incredibly modern, beautifully colorful with a beautifully decorated menu that looks very appealing. I was more familiar with grilled dishes from Turkish cuisine and when it came to the cuisine of the Levant or explicitly Lebanese, I was more likely to eat shawarma, falafel and tabbouleh. Visits to restaurants are limited to very few. And even there, every country's cuisine is different. To drink I ordered an Ayran. More sour than I know, but I really liked it. When the grill plate came, we were bursting with joy (difficult to see for the waiters, they played it cool). An incredibly tasty scent hit our noses. We tried it out. The Keftah skewers are incredibly good, full of flavors and herbs. The garlic sauce was also quite sour, but I really liked it. Harissa was a huge culinary enrichment for me anyway. The lamb chops were definitely the best I had eaten. The chicken was very dry in my opinion. The only point I see here is a certain weakness in this tasty grilled dish. However, my colleague thought it was great. Ultimately it's a subjective thing. The rice was incredibly aromatic. I can only warmly recommend this restaurant to everyone. The best Arabic restaurant I had the pleasure of visiting. As soon as I head back towards Switzerland and pass Konstanz, I will definitely visit this restaurant again. Thank you!

Everything was ok, food came very quickly and was delicious.

I have visited Ikrams regularly over the last few years and appreciated it. However, my last visit was disappointing. I was refused a yoghurt sauce on the grounds that it was “not good for pregnant women”, although a friend at the same table who was also obviously pregnant was given a cream curd sauce without further ado. No further explanation was given to me as to why the yogurt sauce with garlic was not good. I had to ask about alternatives myself and when it came to mayonnaise I was able to point out to the waiter that it (if freshly made) is significantly more harmful to pregnant women. The waiting time for the bill was over 40 minutes, and there were technical problems with the card payment. A sauce that was not received was initially on the bill, but was removed upon request. A coffee or something similar as a bridge or apology was not offered. Overall, not a completely consistent visit.

The menu offers a large selection, the food comes quickly, we had good falafel, the grape leaves were too sour for us. It probably depends on what you order, there is definitely room for improvement. The waiter just looked at my husband while serving, unfortunately I was ignored. The service can therefore still be expanded.

We had the privilege of having lunch here at the end of March and every aspect of the experience was absolutely perfect. I am in no way a connoisseur of Lebanese, or any food for that matter, but I know amazing food when I taste it! The starters, the mains and the dessert were all exceptional. So much so, that we ordered extra for lunch the next day! The food is comforting and hearty, while having the right notes of freshness and richness. I definitely recommend making a reservation and being punctual, especially over the weekend or during the season, the spot is super busy and being late may mean you need to wait a little for a table. If you're in Konstanz you HAVE to eat here at LEAST once

We were in the restaurant in the evening. The restaurant was full, reservations are highly recommended, some guests in front of us were turned away without reservations. Service: The team is well-coordinated, very attentive, friendly and fast. Even though the restaurant was completely full, we received our order within 20 minutes. Ambience: the decor is Lebanese style, not too much and not too little. There are several large tables for larger groups Food: very tasty and fresh food. Drinks and dishes are well balanced in terms of taste and have many nuances. Well seasoned, not too much, just right. Absolutely top price-performance ratio. If we are in the area again we will definitely visit Ikrams again. Thanks to the team for a successful evening.

An absolutely wonderful restaurant! The food is not only delicious, but prepared with a lot of love - you can feel and taste it with every bite. I would particularly like to highlight the owner and the entire team: so warm, attentive and passionate about what they do! You feel completely comfortable and welcome. The food wasn’t bad, but the service was the worst. I went with my brother, and both staff members there had no sense of service — they just wanted to get everything done quickly. One staff member, seemed to acknowledge me when I asked for a menu, but he never brought it. So I decided not to order anything else. This was my first and last time here. 😌😌😌😌😌😌😌😌😌
