I went for Easter brunch for the first time and it was very good. The quality of the food was good and there was enough choice. I particularly liked the service. Very friendly, very helpful and any questions that arose were answered very competently and quickly.

Very good food in a quiet and pleasant atmosphere. I'm amazed that it IS so quiet - possibly because it is also the restaurant of the Hotel Maritim and people may simply not think of it as a place to go. But it can be entered directly from the street.

It was an all-round successful evening at Mr. Peppers in Darmstadt. Super tasty, unusual menus, also available in vegetarian versions. Each course is accompanied by a matching glass of whiskey, which was previously described in detail by the owner. The whole thing in a small, very cozy guest room with lots of stylish details. I'd love to come back when I'm in Darmstadt.

Brandenburgerstraße 65Ordered Wiener Schnitzel with fries and salad and received it after more than 60 minutes. Unfortunately everything was wrapped in a lot of aluminum. Fries appropriately soggy. Schnitzel moist on the outside and dry on the inside. Surprisingly, the salad was still crisp/fresh. Unfortunately that was the best part of the meal. For 17 euros plus delivery it doesn't fit.

But also a small, fixed menu with classics like the Vitello Tonnato Tonnato (this one, with tuna tartare). Interesting wine recommendations from the waitress, some of them very inexpensive. Also changing aperitif innovations.
