We ate there yesterday. I had the best bastila. It was an explosion of flavor. The price-performance ratio is excellent, and the portions are perfectly adequate. The atmosphere is very authentic, and the staff is very friendly. As a welcome, we were served hariri and bread, and Moroccan tea at the end.

The food was delicious and the service very friendly. We received a complimentary small bowl of lentils from the kitchen, which was very tasty. After our meal, we were also served a pot of Moroccan mint tea.

Very nice owner and a super friendly team. Always good and fresh food, very tasty. Spacious individual seating areas, but also suitable for larger parties. Freshly prepared takeaway is also available. We've never been disappointed here!!!

Delicious food! We had the lamb and prunes tagine, the lamb and vegetable tagine, and the chicken bastilla. The appetizer platter was also incredibly fresh. All in all, I highly recommend this restaurant!

The food was absolutely delicious, beyond any discussion. The spices were simply otherworldly. The tagine dish was very delicious, but the portion was a bit too small. Therefore, the value for money wasn't quite right. However, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Delicious Moroccan food. You feel like you're in Morocco. The very friendly owner also contributes to this.

The combination of stylish design and genuine hospitality immediately creates a sense of well-being. The service is polite – without being forced – and always with a warm smile. You can feel the passion of the team, who bring their heart and soul to the evening. The food is fantastic: authentic flavors, lovingly presented – from tagine dishes to Bastilla meat variations to sophisticated vegetarian options. Each dish tells its own story, which comes alive with every bite. Particularly delicious: the Bastilla variations, the Qotban kefta, and the spicy salads made me feel like I was transported to Marrakech. The value for money is also excellent: fair prices, generous portions, and quality you can taste. No compromise, just pure enjoyment.

My wife and I had two dinners in this restaurant(Friday then Sunday) since our first experience was so good. The second time did not disappoint either. The food is really fresh and tasty, the balance of spices and flavours is on point and the mint tea is delicious. We had a chicken couscous on the first night, paired with a veal tajine Barquq. On the second occasion, we had 2 meat tajines and one veg tajine, together with a chicken bastela. I found the price to be very reasonable considering the quality. If you are near Darmstadt and it's not Monday, pay this place a visit it is worthwhile.

Came for couscous driving from Eschborn. Called also to confirm if it is there but after coming i got to know Couscous is finished. Then ordered Lamm tajnine and they brought it in the table after 45-60 minutes waiting. Food was salty and not much taste but the portion was good, well cooked and free bread and linsen soup at started was nice. So price was okay a bit high though. Shop staff and decorations were nice and authentic.

Unfortunately, the vegetarian dishes were disappointing; the vegetables were completely overcooked, there were hardly any spices, and they didn't match the description. The couscous with eggplant was completely overcooked, with no discernible eggplant, chickpeas, or raisins. Instead, it had overcooked carrots, zucchini, and potatoes, and the spices were undetectable. The vegetarian tagine was made with frozen vegetables, plus more carrots, zucchini, and potatoes; everything was completely overcooked, with no discernible spices, and certainly no saffron threads. The best parts were the side bread and the lentil soup, as well as the friendly staff, which earned it a second star.

I liked the setup of the restaurant. The kitchen is in another building. Food was ok. Service is kind of slow. Atmosphere was awesome.

Three of us ate here. The food was excellent. I had Tajine Basal with veal and couscous. The meat was super tender, the sauce was plentiful, and very tasty. The couscous was beautifully prepared. The drinks were delicious. I had a Mango Passion and peppermint tea. We sat by the open window, which was a bit drafty.

I was particularly impressed by the Tajine Bel Khodra – a vegan version full of flavor that is both filling and light. The Tfaya couscous with eggplant is also a highlight – carefully seasoned and perfectly balanced. The fact that each dish can be prepared spicy upon request demonstrates the individual attention paid to guests here. We were there for lunch, and the Moroccan breakfast sounds so exciting that we'll definitely be back. It's wonderful to see how the cooking here is done with heart and dedication – whether with meat or plant-based. Tajine Marrakech is a true asset to Darmstadt – culinary, atmospheric, and human. Many thanks to the entire team for this special experience!

Harissa soup and Salad were fantastic. Lamb Tajin fell flat. Not of my liking. Vegetables were overcooked, it was too salty and not enough broth (sauce) to accompany it.

Authentic Moroccan cuisine in halal quality in a cozy restaurant with a Marrakech ambience feeling. Take your time, at least 1 hour, to fully enjoy the food and leave the stress of everyday life at the entrance to the restaurant. I liked my lamb tagine, which contained lots of vegetables, the fresh homemade Moroccan bread, and the tasty sauce with caramelized onions and raisins that was served on it. As a drink, I recommend the fresh green sweet peppermint tea, which is served in a pot and rounds off the fantastic dish. I'm looking forward to taking a trip to Marrakech with my wife next time and being able to enjoy a tagine again at the Tajine Marrakech in Darmstadt.

Everything was great, rarely eaten so well😍 From the starters to the appetizers to the main courses, everything was a 10/10. In particular, the lamb stew (No. 60) and the vegetarian couscous were just perfect, like in Morocco. The prices are extremely fair and the portions are completely sufficient. Anyone who doesn't come here to eat is missing out! The boss is also very warm and attentive, always happy😊

There is a star deduction for the great ambience because the restaurant is actually on the other side of the street. The location marked here is only part of the kitchen.

This Moroccan restaurant is hands down the best in town! I had the tajine, and it was incredible – the meat was so tender and full of flavor, absolutely amazing. The couscous was equally delicious. We also tried the pastilla, which was huge and really good, but I’d recommend ordering it on its own. Having it after the tajine made it a bit less enjoyable, haha. All in all, a fantastic experience!

I recently dined at Tajine Marrakech restaurant and had a great experience overall. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with beautiful Moroccan décor that sets the mood. The menu offers a nice variety of traditional Moroccan dishes, and everything we tried was flavorful and well-prepared. The tagines, in particular, were a standout—rich, aromatic, and cooked to perfection. The only reason I’m not giving a full 5 stars is that the service, while friendly, was a bit slow at times. It wasn’t a huge issue, but something to keep in mind if you’re in a hurry. That said, the food made it well worth the wait, and I’d definitely recommend Marrakesh for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Moroccan cuisine!

Sensational Moroccan cuisine with aromatic food. We ordered a traditional dish - tagine, served in a characteristic ceramic dish. I chose the option containing mutton, dried plums and roasted almonds, which turned out to be a hit 🎯 For three dishes we got a bowl of bread and a bowl of couscous. You can't leave a restaurant unsatisfied. Also noteworthy is the intensely flavored mint infusion 🍃🫖, which pleasantly surprised me with its sweetness.

The best breakfast in all of Darmstadt. Generous, rich and nutritious. Price-performance ratio is simply great. I can only recommend this breakfast and the ambience in the restaurant to anyone who is looking for a healthy and energetic breakfast and wants to have a nice Moroccan feeling. You just have to accept that the restaurant doesn't open until 11 a.m. But ideal for all late risers and brunchers.

The best seasoned tagine chicken I've ever eaten!

We were very disappointed with our visit today. We ordered 2 veal tagines, and the waiter initially told us that there was no more veal. Afterwards he said that veal was still available. However, he finally brought us the 2 tagines with lamb, even though we had specifically said that we didn't eat lamb. Something like this is really unacceptable. At the end we were also charged the price for a veal tagine, which is completely unreasonable. It was very disgraceful how the situation was handled. We certainly won't be coming back.

We had a very tasty Tajin. This was the best tagine I've eaten so far, even though I've already been to Morocco. The chicken bestilla was also good but nothing special. The tea was very tasty as were the cocktails. The only thing we didn't like was the waitress. Unfortunately, the young lady was very listless, as if she was just waiting for the end of the day. But that was the only thing that wasn't so good. Everything else was really great. We will be back definitely!
