The food is of a very high quality and is very good, everything is arranged so appetizingly on the plate and the portions are large. The service is very friendly, patient and gives great advice. The restaurant is in a very idyllic location and if you come during the day it invites you to take a walk, the perfect combination. We'll definitely be back.

My visit to the Landgasthof Spitzauer was a real treat for the senses. Of particular note was the baked winter cod, which was cooked to perfection. The crispy breading coated the tender fish, which melted in your mouth. This masterpiece was accompanied by a delicate potato and endive salad, which impressed with its freshness and the harmonious combination of flavors. The homemade tartar sauce was the perfect addition and rounded off the taste of the dish. The apple tart was a poem, with a crispy crust and a juicy apple filling, which was perfectly complemented by the homemade vanilla ice cream. The ice cream was creamy and infused with a wonderful vanilla note. The Landgasthof Spitzauer not only offers excellent food, but also a cozy ambience and attentive service. A visit here is a must for every foodie!

This is one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at. We live nearby and eat there at least once a week. There is a beautiful playground for children and the beer garden is fantastic, everything is great. I would recommend it 🥰.

Great country inn with a nice hostess. The room was newly furnished, the breakfast was impeccable. The attached restaurant offers excellent quality. And the service is also great. The perfect stay for cyclists, as the Naab cycle path runs along the opposite side. We'd love to come back :-)

A real insider tip, great with children as there is a great playground. The food is very good and varied, there is something for everyone. Very good value for money and the service is absolutely friendly and you can feel totally at home here!

We were at the Spitzauer in Penk on August 8th, 2024. We had a good time in the beautifully landscaped beer garden. The service was very friendly and quick!!! The food was freshly prepared and we all (6 people in total) enjoyed it very much. Our conclusion. We'll definitely be back!!!

First of all: the food (what was still available) was very good and of good quality. The beer garden is also nice. But the service was absolutely subpar. The waiter was absolutely clueless and just kept saying that he was all alone - which was okay given the number of guests. was. It took forever until we could order even though there wasn't much going on. The drinks then took forever. 3 of the 4 drinks ordered came at the same time as the food, the 4th even later than the four dishes... What was also a bit unfortunate was that the actually interesting dishes were no longer available.

Nice beer garden, playground for children next door

A very nice, somewhat remote guesthouse on the 5 RiversRadWeg. Everything worked very well, from breakfast to dinner. The attempt to collect signatures for a bridge over the Naab (directly to the guesthouse) was a bit annoying.

We have been to the Landgasthof Spitzauer for dinner several times now. We have never been disappointed and the food is always excellent. Both seasonal cuisine, for example with asparagus, but also the classics such as schnitzel, currywurst and roast pork. The person is very friendly and accommodating. Children and dogs are also welcome. 😍

The onion roast was medium rare, with delicious fried potatoes and crispy fried onions. The salad is wonderfully fresh, like it came from the garden. Everything was very attractively presented on beautiful preheated plates. All we can say is GREAT! We'd love to come back ❤🚙

The service tries very hard but comes across as rude because it is very direct. Why talk for a long time, the purpose should be fulfilled. Guests with dogs are placed in advance of other guests and asked to sit differently at the table. Dogs are provided with water immediately. Service is quick, food comes to the table at the same time. The selection is not very large but sufficient.

Because we really wanted to try what the chefs from the Landgasthof Spitzauer conjure up from our catfish, we reserved a table for lunch today and arrived as a family (2 adults, 2 children 3 & 6 years old). Easy to tie up because it was well signposted, we were able to park in the spacious parking lot in front of the entrance and were warmly welcomed and shown to our table. Food and drinks were received and served very quickly. They prepared our catfish very, very tasty in the kitchen and served it with freshly made potato salt! For my wife and children there was roast pork or cream veal with dumplings and a very tasty sauce. Because I was so captivated by the catfish, I unfortunately forgot to take photos of the roasts :D The toilets were very clean and equipped to a high standard. All in all, a great restaurant that we would love to visit again! The beer garden, which is currently winterized, looks very inviting and will certainly be planned as a destination for the next possible bike tour in spring!

Der Landgasthof Spitzauer im schönen Naabtal ist eine super Adresse wenn man gut essen gehen möchte oder ein Zimmer für eine Geschäftsreise oder einen Kurzurlaub benötigt. Alle sind sehr zuvorkommend und flott unterwegs. Das Essen ist sensationell, geht schnell und die Auswahl ist mehr als ausreichend. Die Zimmer sind sauber und technisch modern ausgestattet. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und ausreichend. Die Anbindung zur Autobahn und nach Regensburg ist sehr gut, da beides nur 8 Minuten entfernt liegt.

Wir waren schon so oft dort. Immer wieder schön. Alles wundervoll. ❤️

Modern renoviertes Dorfgasthaus mit einer gehobenen Küche. Geschmacklich & optisch top. Zutaten regional und alles frisch und handwerklich 1a gekocht (schaut euch das Schnitzel an, ein Traum!). Service flott und sehr freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Für uns war es Perfekt 😊 Wir suchten für eine Nacht ein Zimmer mit Frühstück, weil wir unserer Tochter beim Umzug behilflich waren. Reservierung per Telefon war problemlos und als wir gegen 21:00 im Hotel ankamen sahen wir einen gut besetzten gemütlichen Biergarten, der zwar recht einladend aus sah, wir aber doch mehr die Ruhe suchten. Nachdem wir uns an der Theke einen Wein mit der Bitte, die Gläser mit auf's Zimmer nehmen zu dürfen holten, kam die freundliche Bedienung direkt auf uns zu und fragte, ob wir nicht auf die Terrasse möchten. Wir nickten und folgten ihr. So kam es, dass wir den Tag gemütlich auf einer großen Terrasse, die wir alleine nutzen konnten, unter sternenklarem Himmel verbringen konnten. Einfach top 👍

Ich war beruflich in in der Gegend unterwegs und suchte ein Zimmer ich habe angefragt und mir wurde sofort geantwortet die Zimmer sind sehr modern eingerichtet und kann man sich nur wohlfühlen. Die Inhaber sind sehr nett . Ich kann die Wirtschaft nur weiterempfehlen. Beim Frühstück fehlt einem es wirklich schwer was zu wählen weil eine sehr grosse Auswahl zum Frühstück angeboten wird .

Ich bin auf der Suche nach einen Zimmer gewesen da ich beruflich in der Gegend unterwegs war und das Gasthaus nur weiterempfehlen die Zimmer sind sehr modern eingerichtet es so zu sagen an absolut gar nix das Personal und die inhaer sind super super nett ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder

Im Naabtal gelegen, schöner schattiger Biergarten, hier kann man entspannt gut essen und trinken, zu Preisen, da fährt mann schon mal einige km mehr.
