Super Brauerei Gasthof! Das Essen ist richtig gut und das Bier sowieso 😁...

Ein wunderschöner Biergarten! Wir kommen hier seit vielen Jahren regelmäßig vorbei, man kann den Besuch sehr gut mit einer Wanderung über den Alpinensteig und durch das Tal der schwarzen Laber verbinden. Die meisten Gäste reisen aber mit dem Auto an, was am regen Verkehr vor der Brauerei und daran dass alles vollgeparkt ist, zu erkennen ist. Wir würden sogar gerne öfters kommen, aber leider muss als Kritikpunkt angebracht werden, dass die Preise inzwischen ein Niveau erreicht haben, dass ich nicht mehr nachvollziehen kann. Die Speisen haben natürlich ein höheres Niveau als man es durchschnittlich in Biergärten bekommt. Vieles in Bio und/oder regional. Da lasse ich mir die Preise noch eingehen, aber 4,50€ für eine 0,33l Cola, knapp 3,00€ für einen Espresso oder 3,50€ für ein 0,25l Mineralwasser (!) sind zu viel und auch nicht mehr mit gestiegenen Einkaufspreisen zu begründen. Und noch was - Das Eis für Kinder kostet 3,80€ und man bekommt nur einen abgepackten Becher aus der TK... etwas enttäuschend für den Preis. Als Familie ist man da dann tatsächlich am überlegen, ob man sich den Besuch in Zukunft leisten kann, oder ob man einfach dran vorbeigeht und sich eine Brotzeit einpackt.

Ein besonderer Ort. Idyllisch gelegener Biergarten, Essen und Service seit Jahren hervorragend. Das Bier mag ich auch sehr gerne, auch das alkoholfreie Helle schmeckt gut.

Eine Radltour von Regensburg über den Labertalradweg nach Eichhofen sind nur 22 leichte Kilometer. Als Belohnung winkt ein gutes Bier der Hausbrauerei, in unserem Fall das neu im Programm stehende alkoholfreie Helle (sehr gut!). Die freundliche und flotte Kellnerin erwähnt als Tagesbesonderheit eine Spargelquiche, die wir ohne in die Karte zu schauen auch gleich bestellen. Eine gute Wahl, zumal der dazugehörige Salat knackig und mit einem frisch-nussigen Dressing daherkommt. (Durchaus appetitlich angerichtet, aber von mir keine Essensfotos).

Desserts sind extrem gut der rest ist okay aber nicht sehr empfehlenswert.

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe hier. Super gutes Essen, leckeres Bier und freundliches Personal!

Sehr schöne Location in wunderbarer Umgebung. Leider ist der Biergarten nicht jeden Tag geöffnet. Aber wenn, ist er sehr lauschig - am Bach unter alten Bäumen direkt an der Brauerei.

Unabhängig von, einem der Besten Biere Regensburgs, die man zum Essen serviert bekommt, ist das Essen eine 1+! Super zartes Fleisch mit viel liebe zum Detail bei den Gerichten. Absolute Empfehlung!

In der Mitte unserer Wanderung sind wir hier eingekehrt um jeder wie er mag sich eine Kleinigkeit oder ein Mittagessen und ein köstliches Eichhofener zu gönnen. Ein sonniger Apriltag und wir konnten schon mit Decken im kleinen schnuggeligen Biergarten sitzen. Vom Essen waren wir sehr positiv überrascht, da es nicht nur sehr gut geschmeckt hat sondern auch toll angerichtet, das Auge konnte definitiv mit essen! Etwas höhere Preise für diese gehobene Küche, jedoch nicht komplett überteuert. Jubiläumsbier sehr lecker, hat sogar noch bisschen besser geschmeckt als das Helle. Netter Bierspritz-Aperitiv! Service tadellos, sehr bayrisch mit paar Sprüchen, aber sehr nett. Sind wir mal wieder in der Gegend kommen wir sehr gerne wieder.

Das Essen ist außergewöhnlich lecker – jedes Gericht überzeugt mit frischen Zutaten, perfekter Zubereitung und viel Liebe zum Detail. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das unglaublich freundliche und aufmerksame Personal. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und bestens umsorgt, ohne dass es jemals aufdringlich wirkt. Abgerundet wird das Ganze durch ein wunderschönes, stimmungsvolles Ambiente, das Tradition und Gemütlichkeit perfekt vereint. Hier kann man wunderbar entspannen und den Alltag hinter sich lassen. Ein rundum perfektes Erlebnis – wir kommen definitiv wieder und können den Brauereigasthof Eichhofen uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Rustikal und gut bürgerlich, toller Service vom Fach die ihr Handwerk verstehen

Was bleibt einen anders übrig, als das maximale in jeder Hinsicht zum Ausdruck zu bringen. Ob telefonischer Kontakt für die Reservierung oder Begrüßung am 21.2. oder der Service der super zugewandt, stets ein gutes Auge auf uns hatte. Wer die Maronen-Creme-Suppe noch nicht kennt, sei auch dieser kulinarische Hochgenuss zu empfehlen. Wenn man gute Lebenszeit überhaupt mit dem Wort Preis/Leistungsverhältnis in Verbindung bringen möchte, dann ist dieser Brauereigasthof ganz weit vorne mit dabei. Besten Dank nochmal an Küche, Service und Management - schön das ihr im Raum Regensburg so gut leuchtet.

Wir haben meine Familie und meine Eltern als Weihnachtsgeschenk hierher eingeladen und hatten die unhöflichste Bedienung, die man sich vorstellen kann. Sie war ständig am Handy, und obwohl das Restaurant leer war, bekamen wir einen schrecklichen Tisch direkt neben der Tür, an dem es ziemlich zog. Obwohl wir für sechs Personen reserviert hatten, weigerte sie sich, uns einen besseren Tisch zu geben. Dann bestellte mein Vater den Bio-Schweinebraten, der leider nicht richtig durchgebraten war, und auch die Soße schmeckte nicht. Es war, als hätten sie das Fleisch einfach in die verquirlte Soße gegeben, ohne es, wie es sich für einen Braten gehört, mitzukochen. Mein Vater bekam davon Bauchschmerzen, und obwohl er mehr als die Hälfte übrig ließ, mussten wir trotzdem alles bezahlen und man wollte es nicht zurücknehmen. Wie gesagt, die Bedienung war sehr unhöflich. Es war sehr enttäuschend, denn es sollte ein Geschenk für meine Eltern sein und endete in einer furchtbaren Erfahrung. :( :( :(

Unfortunately, the food was only lukewarm and the selection was very strange; when asked if there was ice cream for the children, the answer was curt.

The food was excellent. The goulash tasted absolutely perfect. The service was great and friendly.

I was there for a birthday party (approx. 35 people). The food was absolutely fantastic, and special praise goes to the waiter Holger, who did a truly superb job. Friendly, fast, and competent. I would eat there again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended! 👌👌

Simply always fantastic there! … The exciting selection of dishes, the beautiful presentation, and the delicious taste are just a rare find in our area. The meat comes from organic farms, and the vegetarian options are great too. … The staff are wonderful, attentive, and humorous, and we're always amazed at how quickly our food arrives. We never have to wait long. … It's the perfect place to go with children. There's a play corner with books and toys. The waiter even whispers the ice cream selection to you, just in case our child doesn't quite grasp the word "ice cream" at first.

Unfortunately, despite its high price, the veggie bowl didn't fill me up. Even though I usually only order salad in restaurants and that usually fills me up.

I'm actually a fan of the Eichhofen Brewery Inn. However, since my last visit, I have to say that it's not recommended for vegetarians. The chickpea and lentil curry for €18 is really nothing special, and in my opinion, the presentation is really unattractive. It comes in a small bowl on a rectangular black plate. It's served with a Turkish flatbread made of white wheat flour, which I find awful. I asked for potato dumplings instead, but they were very small, and we had to pay extra for the second one. The service was very friendly, and the food arrived quickly.

We were there for Beer Night, even staying overnight in the Hop Room. A very good brewery inn with very friendly staff, always on the ball. Mr. Guck served a very tasty beer with a little sweetheart from the Schwarzen Laber. The three-course meal was really good, especially the beer goulash and beer doughnuts. The overnight stay was also great, with breakfast served right outside the door, so it was practically served right in bed. Thumbs up for EVERYTHING! We'd love to come back.

Sublime! Impressive brasserie. Warm and efficient welcome. Fast and professional service. And then there's the food: magnificent! Ingredients of impeccable quality and very delicate and balanced seasoning. A unique touch for the very refreshing Thai-style consommé. Carefully prepared meats and elegant presentation. Perfect and delicious coffees. Fully deserving of its Slow Food award for Germany! Top notch!!!

on the website says open, we arrived at 8 pm to find it closed for holidays till Aug 21st what a sof and bad performance not to mention it on your opening hours very frustrating !!

The BEST food in Germany(Bavaria) that I have had thus far. Staff are attentive and polite. The chef came to the table and spoke in details of the preparation of the meals.The environment of the establishment is comforting, welcoming, and the view is something out of a movie. I will count the days until I return.

We love eating here. The menu offers a small but fine selection, and there's always something unusual. The menu easily tempts you to try three courses. And of course, there are excellent 🍺 beers. We always make reservations, which I would recommend.

The beer garden is okay, but noisy due to its proximity to the street. The prices are steep compared to the quality and quantity of the food.

We traveled all the way from the Harz Mountains for the great Eichhofener beer, and we were not disappointed. A beautiful beer garden, super friendly service, excellent food. And, of course, the best beer straight from the brewery—PERFECT.

The restaurant (and guesthouse) Brauereigasthof Eichhofen is nestled amidst a beautiful mountain landscape. We dined on the terrace and enjoyed the fresh air, the water flowing in the small valley below us, and the birdsong. The service was good, and the waiters were friendly and attentive. The beer and specialties from the local brewery are, of course, good. We ordered a typical Bavarian steak and fish. The steak was tasty, although the sauce can be a bit heavy for sensitive stomachs. The fish was quite good but could have been better prepared. I would have preferred fresh trout, which the restaurant can certainly source nearby. Overall, it's a good place to go; it offers nature, good beer, good service, and good food, especially if you're not particularly picky.

A very nice inn with very friendly staff. We went there for lunch. A seasonal menu with both light and hearty dishes. There's something for everyone. I especially recommend the Bavarian cream for dessert. And last but not least, the large selection of beers.

Nice ambiance, friendly service. However, if you want to meet the standards of "slow food," I'm surprised that the wafer-thin organic pork schnitzel is put through the deep fryer... For €18.00, I would have expected something different.

Absolutely recommended 👌👍🤤 Mega delicious food, perfectly seasoned. And I say that as a chef and I often criticize 🙈 We had braised ox and beef goulash. The red cabbage alone was perfectly seasoned with cinnamon, amazing. Zucchini spaghetti is also so harmonious. The meat is super tender. The waiters were very friendly, funny but reserved, which I really appreciated. Large restaurant, cute beer garden, very nice decoration. Very welcoming. We were only on the way back and chose the inn at random but will definitely come back. Thank you very much for a guesthouse where you are happy to pay because it is really worth it. 😊👍😊👍😊

We went hiking and then came back afterwards. A bit inconspicuous from the outside but both the service and the quality of the food are excellent. The cuisine is both traditional and modern and there is something for everyone. Vegetarians and meat eaters will enjoy it to the fullest! We will definitely come back and are looking forward to it.

Great food, nice service. Unfortunately there are a few parking spaces (or we just didn't find them). We were there for a birthday party and unfortunately it was a bit of a shame that the birthday table was so long. Otherwise it was very nice. The black lab is highly recommended, but be careful with the quantity.

Very unfriendly staff. As soon as we entered and asked whether there was still room for two families, we were given the feeling of not being welcome, despite the lack of activity! Cola wheat is not made at all for no reason even though all the ingredients are on the menu. Our little son poured out all of his soda, and of course there's no substitute for it! You had to beg for a rag to wipe it up. The food is high quality, but the portions are unfortunately too expensive for small children. All in all we agreed NOT to come here again...

The Eichhofen brewery inn has developed into a real culinary favorite place for me. An unforgettable Boxing Day dinner was followed by three further visits that topped the already great experience. This inn is a true jewel in the Upper Palatinate, where the highest quality, regionality and warm hospitality come together. Even the starters left no doubt that we would experience a special evening. The beetroot carpaccio, beautifully presented, was a delight for all the senses. The earthy aromas of the beetroot harmonized wonderfully with the black lentils and the subtle sweetness of the forest honey. The creamy cream cheese and fresh thyme set perfect flavor accents. The salsify soup was creamy, warm and full of depth – just right for the cold season. The sweet chestnuts and the slight acidity of the balsamic were harmoniously balanced, while the fresh cress gave the whole thing that certain something. On one of the following visits I also enjoyed a refreshing lamb's lettuce with chestnuts, walnuts, pomegranate and grapes - a harmonious composition that delighted the palate. The main courses seamlessly continued this culinary perfection. The fried salmon trout fillet was a prime example of successful fish preparation: delicately browned on the outside, wonderfully juicy on the inside and excellent in taste. Particularly noteworthy are: • Roulade made from organic grass-fed beef with perfectly seasoned red cabbage, a wonderfully fluffy dumpling and finely balanced cranberries. • Sauerbraten made from organic beef accompanied by Beerhof potato dumplings and aromatic red cabbage. The meat was buttery tender, making every bite a delight. The side salad is always fresh, crunchy and dressed with an excellent homemade dressing – a real treat. The regionality of the ingredients is particularly impressive: the meat comes either from regional hunting or from organic farms such as Beerhof Bernhardswald, just a few kilometers from Nittendorf. This sustainable and conscious selection of ingredients is unique in the Upper Palatinate and shows how much value theBraugasthof Eichhofen places on quality and origin. One of the most impressive desserts was the Virunga organic chocolate mousse with mango sorbet and coconut granola. The absolute highlight: a piece of homemade white chocolate, decorated with dried fruits and herbs from the inn's own garden. This attention to detail - from the processing of high-quality chocolate to the in-house herb harvest - is fascinating and incomparable. The service was at a consistently high level on every visit: warm, attentive and incredibly professional. The employees manage to find a pleasant balance between personal approach and unobtrusive support. The ambience remains a distinctive part of the experience: the perfect mix of traditional Bavarian cosiness and modern accents, complemented by the loving seasonal decoration. Our favorite inn! We have never been disappointed. The service is super friendly and quick, the food always tastes excellent and the ambience is “sucky”, as they say in Bavaria. I also love that the kitchen offers modern, delicious vegan and vegetarian dishes. Simply great!

The location of the inn next to the Eichhofen brewery is nice. Motorcyclists on the road can be heard very loudly in the beer garden. The chef must have changed. Now the food is really excellent and the service is friendly and attentive. You should reserve in advance because there is high demand.

We ate here on a whim and were delighted with the brewery. I ate the Distl lamb burger and have to say: that is not just a burger, it is an experience!

Very nice inn by the river. Very full despite the 2-page spread of food on offer. The price-performance ratio is far beyond good and bad... completely overpriced... small pork schnitzel with fries and a dollop of ketchup €18.00. The remaining dishes were nicely prepared, but the size was manageable and far too expensive.

2018: Nice ambience, there's nothing wrong with the food, but the prices are disproportionate to the service offered. Child-friendliness is definitely not a priority. Unfortunately, they act more distinguished than they are. Update 2024: Upscale German cuisine, higher priced. Considering the price with the quality to be expected, it's still not exceptional. Maybe it wasn't intentional at all. Goulash, for example, is good but definitely not star cuisine, dumplings, for example, are very good and actually taste like potatoes. Spreads with bread as a starter are very good, recommended. Recommended for a more upscale meal without expecting molecular gastronomy. Definitely not a typical brewery inn either

Nice restaurant with great service. Everyone was super friendly, quick and professional. The food (we had roast pork and cream mushrooms) was reasonably priced, obviously without industrial help and, above all, really good! Gladly again at any time :)

We were passing through and came across this inn via Google. So we didn't have a reservation and were still lucky (and that was on a Sunday at 12 p.m.) We were thrilled! Fast, nice, friendly service and our food was on the table in no time. It was well prepared and tasted excellent. The crust is a dream. Top recommendation!

Very nice beer garden under old trees, very tasty food with local organic meat, good beer, very friendly service. We used it as a stop for dinner on the way through, only about 5 minutes from the motorway, it was perfect for this, but we would have actually liked to stay longer…

Service is outstanding. Pork knuckle not on the menu, but was recommended verbally. Add napkin dumplings, no problem either. The sauerkraut was very nicely seasoned. Next time the mixed dessert including homemade ice cream. Note: the lamb ragout with cheese gratin would be 2nd choice, try pastured oxen first (purely subjective visual assessment). Update: baked brie is very good!

Great brewery festival, worth a visit

The beer garden with the old linden trees and the small pebbles that cover the ground creates an extremely idyllic atmosphere. It is the ideal place to relax, enjoy a good beer and feast on delicious food and unwind.

Hello, so either you had a bad day or you have to save money on your own beer... then how do the recessions come about? a shandy that contained almost no beer and that from the in-house brewery. Then there are fries to go with the currywurst with potato skin... maybe it's modern or cheaper... but ALDI has some without the skin, but the prices are hefty... shandy with currwurst €17.20... a colleague had a sausage salad from... Given its size, it would be more suitable for a daycare center... this way you can keep guests away...

Great beer garden with excellent food and attentive service

A quiet and beautifully landscaped garden, a nice and very professional waiter, good food, good beer and fairly reasonable prices for what is on offer. We were satisfied and will come back.

It was very nice with you. Many many thanks. Food very very good. Prices are already high but I think that's desirable given the atmosphere. The only drawback for my taste is that the upscale doesn't quite fit the ambience. I know everything is getting more expensive and you too have to make ends meet. However, the roast pork (super super good) was a bit too expensive compared to everything else. Thank you anyway and keep it up. I'd love to come back, but not too often because it'll make a few dents in your wallet with four people.

Very nicely located beer garden, very friendly staff and the best beer far and wide! The food is also always recommended, creative, fresh, refined and delicious. The menu changes and is supplemented with seasonal offers. I really like that the products are regional and of the best quality, especially the meat. The delicious desserts are also highly recommended!

The three of us spontaneously went to this inn. We had schnitzel Viennese style twice and burgers once. The food was tasty, but the schnitzels were very, very thin. There was also little potato salad. Instead of cranberries there was ketchup for 18 euros. The service was very friendly.

A brilliant display of Bavarian cuisine: high-quality regional products, changing seasonal menus and expert cooking at the highest level. One of the best addresses for culinary experiences in and around Regensburg.

First we stood in the hallway unclaimed for over 15 minutes despite information about reservations, then waited half an hour for the drinks (how long would it have taken if we hadn't asked). Lived disinterest: “Yes, my, I’ll do one thing after the other.” Then don't accept the reservations (45 minutes in advance) if it's too busy. Spontaneous guests were canceled, so only planned guests were on site. Food was ok to good. Ambience nice.

Four of us were at theBraugasthof Eichhofen for New Year's Eve 2023. We decided on the suggested New Year's Eve menu. There was pickled kohlrabi with beluga lentils and kimchi. Then chestnut soup with roasted almonds. Two kinds of deer for the main course. It was very delicious. The meat is very tender and of good quality. Although the restaurant gradually filled up and was eventually full, the food was served quickly. We asked for a break after the main course, which was respected. The service is very nice and didn't seem stressed! It was a lovely evening in a lovely atmosphere.

Top address. Always delicious, whether it's food or beer

If Eichhofen wanted to, they could cook themselves a star: Bavarian classics in a contemporary guise and one of the best onion roasts far and wide. Seasonal, regional, that's what's important here. Vegetarians also get their money's worth here. The service from the two legends Holger and Ronny is extremely good - and despite all the high standards, you don't forget that you are also an inn for the village. The fact remains: The Eichhofener is thoroughly recommended.

The crowning conclusion after a beautiful hike in the Eichhofen area. As always, the food was a dream and you can taste that only high quality products are used here. The roast pork is particularly recommended. A heavenly crust. There are also good options for vegetarians. The beer is one of the best in Regensburg and the surrounding area. Always my pleasure. The seating is comfortable and the service is quick and friendly.

Super leckeres, bayerisches Essen

Biergarten kann man eigentlich nicht sagen. Eher Außenbestuhlung des Gasthauses. Servicepersonal total überfordert und hat wild durcheinander gegearbeitet. Lange Wartezeit...

Wir waren Freitag mittag im Biergarten und haben uns etwas aus der Brotzeitkarte bestellt, da um diese Zeit nur die kleine Brotzeitkarte gilt. Der Biergarten selbst ist total idyllisch und hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Der Service war nett, flott und zuvorkommend. Auch Nachbestellung von Pfeffer und Salz kam schnell an den Tisch. Zuerst war ich etwas enttäuscht, dass es nur eine kleine Brotzeitkarte für den Biergarten gibt. Aber die gewählten Speisen - Leinsamenbrot mit Salatbouquet und Wurstsalat waren beide hervorragend. Sehr schön angerichtet und geschmacklich super! Für das Leinsamenbrot 9 Euro und den Wurstsalat mit 11 Euro fand ich auch als ein super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Wir kommen gerne wieder! Sehr zu empfehlen! Nachtrag: Sind dieses Mal extra Samstag gekommen für die Hauptkarte und auch hier kann man nur sagen: Das Essen ist hervorragend! Nur zu empfehlen!

Wunderschöner Brauereigasthof. Essen und Trinken sind super. Bedienung nett und freundlich. Biergarten schön schattig.

Wir wurden äußerst freundlich empfangen und die Gastwirten konnte all unsere Wünsche erfüllen. Das Bier ist eine absolute Empfehlung! Insbesondere das Dunkle. Kommen gerne wieder. Immer eine Bierwanderung entlang der schönen Jurasteinformationen wert.

Sehr sehr netter Biergarten. Spontan vorbei gefahren. Sofort einen Tisch bekommen. Essen sehr schnell gebracht und schmeckt sehr gut. Die Bedienung super nett.

Kleine aber sehr feine und mit bedacht ausgewählte Speisekarte(davon 4 vegetarische Gerichte) der Koch versteht sein Handwerk. Der Service nett und zuvorkommend. Man kann es nur weiterempfehlen ... uns war es etwas zu teuer!

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Essen. Einzig die Salatsoße haben wir,unabhängig voneinander viel zu süß bewertet. Alles andere,vor allem die Nachspeise,war wirklich wunderbar. Das Personal sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Also 4 Sterne, eigentlich 5 aber eine süße Salatsoße hat uns einen Stern abgeben lassen. Sehr schöner Biergarten. Essen war sehr lecker genauso wie das Bier. Gerade im Sommer wirklich gemütlich.

Klasse! Nach langer Strecke der Dürre endlich mal wieder ein Lokal, ein Restaurant, ein Gasthof bei dem so rundum alles passt. Wirklich. Das Essen war exzellent, die Atmosphäre so wunderbar stimmig - nicht abgehoben und doch spürbar feiner - und die Bedienung sehr angenehm. OK, der bestellte Espresso am Ende wurde vergessen und müsste eigentlich n Abzug geben, aber wir haben uns hier so herrlich gut aufgehoben gefühlt, bei wirklich echt guter bodenständig feiner Küche - deshalb also beste Empfehlung von uns.

Brauereigasthif mit dem besten Pils überhaupt. Das Helle ist auch super, bin aber Pilstrinker 😊. Ambiente ist toll, der Service superfreundluch. Alles bestens! Gerne immer wieder.
