We had lunch today and were pleasantly surprised. How good you can eat at a Spanish restaurant, the three of us really enjoyed it. The salad was also very delicious. We would love to come back to the restaurant. Please visit the restaurant in Gehrden. 🍀

Despite the change in ownership, the tapas were as good as usual. Price is right, food is great, service is very friendly. I'd love to come back.

With the new owner, a native of Sri Lanka, the once very good Spanish address has been lost. Unfortunately, the addition of Mexican dishes is not an improvement either. The quality of the food is no longer as good as it used to be. And the prices are clearly too high for what is on offer. Chorizo ​​Frito con Patatas for €7.50 consists of a bowl full of potato pieces with 2 small strips of dry chorizo ​​strips. We probably won't come back again

More than underground. The order: A young man gave us the table directly at the bar. He already had problems picking up the food and drinks. He didn't even know what a hefeweizen was. At first we thought that the young man was new to working in the catering industry and didn't hold anything against him. It struck us that there were two different cards in circulation, and therefore different prices. This was noted and... The drinks: He looked for them in the fridge and put 2 bottles of dark Hefeweizen and an opened bottle of water on the draining rack of the tap and then took care of other guests. It has to be said that for a Friday evening there was nothing going on at all. So the little man is really stressed. Ha-Ha. He told us that the boss had to open and pour the beers, so we asked him for the bottles and glasses. So we poured ourselves the drinks. We got a full and an almost full glass of water out. The food: 1x grilled squid in advance, which was okay. And 1x prawns in Knobi, which were a disaster. They were neither completely peeled nor cooked through. Next came two completely wrong dishes, which we were still allowed to eat while our dishes were being prepared. It had something like shoe soles under champion sauce. Now 2 of the 3 dishes we ordered finally arrived. The 2 long-awaited tapas plates. Oh no. Cannot be put into words. Catastrophic. We left the plates, except for a few bites. Only the packaged cheese, Serano ham and olives were edible. Quality is... Wasn't it Spanish week at a well-known store? The third dish, the ribs, didn't even come. Then came the bill: It struck me that we weren't charged for 2 glasses of water, but for 2 bottles of water for €15. No, there was no gold in it. But he corrected it immediately. Thank you. The four of us have never experienced anything like this and were simply speechless. Go there if you want to burn money or scare away your mother-in-law.

Delicious food from the skewer, nice service, drinks could have been a little cooler.

Service non-existent, just absolutely underground. Food was edible but no longer. At least the price has been reduced. Lack of skilled workers and total overwhelm for 17 people, but it had already been reserved a month before.

We were here for the first time. The food was delicious. The selection is rather small. The ambience seems cool. All in all we were satisfied and will come back. Visit again after 2 years. The owner has probably changed. The food was very good 👍.

Very friendly owner, food is very inexpensive and very, very good. My wife had a rump steak and I had a turkey steak. Atmosphere could be a bit better, but food was wonderful.

Despite some incomprehensible negative reviews, we ate very well there. Scampi in garlic and olive oil is really nice and spicy as a starter. A crisp salad as a side dish with a good dressing. Both my pork schnitzel and the chicken breast were well cooked and very tasty, as were the potatoes (none from the frozen food chest). Portions were plentiful and there was friendly staff too! And, very important, the food was hot.

We had been to "La Mancha" for a long time and hadn't noticed the change in ownership. After we had easily reserved a table, I read some reviews about the restaurant and was horrified to see, among other things, "fraß". As a result, our anticipation was somewhat dampened, but we wanted to form our own opinion. We were warmly welcomed and shown a table. The food is a mix of Spanish and Mexican. We chose a quesadilla de pollo and various tapas. On the one hand there were grilled squid, which I have never eaten so deliciously. We also had shrimps with chili in garlic oil, which were also very tasty and had a pleasant spiciness. The service was friendly and attentive and we were given several glasses of herbal liqueur at the end. We found the food, the ambience and the service very nice. We can recommend it!

We were in La Mancha for the first time today. To start there was a plate of nachos and a basket of baguette and aioli. Our dishes each came with a salad with dressing. We all enjoyed it. The tomato soup was very good, the burritos were good too. Unfortunately, the burritos didn't quite match the menu. Still, they were tasty. The Puntas res mexikana was very tasty. The meat was very tender. The portion could have been a little larger for our men. All in all it was delicious, the owner is very friendly and we will definitely come back again.

Unfortunately not recommended after a change of ownership. A very strong cheese is used, so the children hardly ate anything. Service was nice but really slow. The burger was probably not homemade and nothing special. Even the aioli wasn't great. We will definitely give it another chance, but at the moment we are not satisfied

The worst meal in a long time. After half an hour I asked if we could order something. And the store wasn't full. Cold and drafty. Not recommendable.

Food tasted good, that was all. Friendliness certainly does not radiate from it, the menu hanging outside does not match the prices inside at all. (yes old one outside we change it tomorrow... uhu) recordings took a long time, and the price/ratio is disappointing. No go.

Unfortunately it was freezing cold and we had to wear a jacket. The fan heater didn't work either. The burrito also received too little heat so that some of the contents were not yet cooked through and the cheese was not melted. A pity. On such evenings it might be better to keep things closed instead of entertaining guests in the cold.

We ordered takeaway. 7 dishes. The burgers were still raw and glowed pink. The nachos were sticky and the cheese was not suitable for this dish. Using a fork I was able to scoop up the entire contents in a clump. The mince in the other dishes tasted like apple cinnamon. The chilli con carne had raw beans and also tasted sweet with apple cinnamon. We have never eaten so badly.

Because of the good average reviews we were tempted to eat at La Mancha. We must have overlooked the fact that there has been a change of ownership in the meantime and the quality has not corresponded to the original since then... Unfortunately, we were disappointed right from the start by the outdated atmosphere. The food was also not very typical of the country and unfortunately the taste was just as unconvincing.

No recommendation We recently ate at this restaurant and were very disappointed with the quality. The prices are completely excessive considering the food that is served to you. The ingredients weren't cooked properly, the "Spanish" rice had Indian seasoning and therefore had nothing authentic about it. The tortillas come from industrial sources and the cheese was probably on sale at Aldi. The iceberg lettuce had brown edges and the tomatoes had dry spots, as if they had been lying open for some time. It would be better to have a smaller but high quality selection of homemade food.

A selection from Aldi and Lidl. A star for the table candle. Otherwise never again. Plastic wrap between the ham slices. It was simply too expensive for that. And a little more heating would have been good too.

Better kitchen after change of ownership. Tapas plate was rich and of good quality, as was the house wine.

Nice welcome and cozy atmosphere

Essen war solala und lieblos auf den Teller geklatscht. Rumpsteak einfach nur mit nen paar Patatas dabei. Keine Soße nix dabei. Langweilig. Aioli war auch nicht der Hit. Mein Essen Hähnchenbrust mit nen bissl Gemüse und ner Knoblauchsoße hätte ich zuhause besser hinbekommen und das Stück Hähnchenbrust hätte auch größer ausfallen können. Insgesamt war ich sehr unzufrieden.

Das wurd sicherlich nicht mein Lieblinsspanier. Gambas mit Schale und Darm.... Nein Danke!

Leute, das ist ein leckeres, spanisches Lädchen. Kleine Tapas, so wie sie auch in Spanien schmecken, ein nettes Ambiente und auch dass dieses Lokal Recht klein ist passt wirklich. Super Gastfreundlichkeit und Preis-Leistung mehr als ok. Reservierung sollte allerdings schon sein.

..es gab an diesem Tag zwar nur Tapas - aber die waren recht ordenlich. Die Platte für 2 Personen hat so auch ausgereicht. Preise sind angemessen.

Essen war echt super lecker Der Kellner war auch sehr freundlich. Leider gibt es keine Wickel Möglichkeiten für Babys.

Leider hat das Essen etwas länger gedauert. Bei meiner Frau war das Gemüse nicht richtig warm. Ansonsten waren die Geschichte sehr lecker. Obwohl das Restaurant an einen Dienstag voll gewesen war wollen die jetzigen Besitzer ab Ende Juli aufgeben. Schade Opfer von Corona.

Noch ein Restaurant nach spanischer Art !! Authentische Küche :Fehlanzeige!! Wer die Küche aus der Region La Mancha sucht wird diese nicht finden. Okay, der Wein kommt aus Valdepeñas. Aber was sonst ? Die Speisekarte präsentiert uns die übliche Gerichte die man in so vielen Restaurants finden kann. So gesehen ist der Name des Restaurant eine Mogelpackung. La Mancha ohne Schaf-Lammgerichte undenkbar !! Jetzt zum Restaurant: Online-Reservierung top!! Freundlichkeit in Ordnung Service: falsche Gerichte auf dem Tisch gestellt. Espresso-Café ohne Löffel . Zum Essen: Schälchen mit Allioli auf dem Salat gestellt, geht gar nicht!! Wer weis wo das Schälchen vorher stand! Patatas Bravas es fehlte die scharfe Soße. Kann man auf dem Foto gut sehen. Bei meinem nächsten Gericht habe ich die Kartoffelecken wieder bekommen. Da dieses Restaurant sehr südamerikanisch dominiert wird kommt jetzt mein Tipp. Schuster bleibt bei deinen Leisten und versuche nicht irgendetwas zu kopieren das nicht authentisch rüberkommt. Ein südamerikanisches Restaurant würde Gehrden gut stehen !!

Super Spanier kann es ch nur weiterempfehlen alles perfekt.

Leider kam der Kellner nur um die Bestellung aufzunehmen und dann um das Essen zu bringen. Danach nicht mehr, hätten gerne noch was zu trinken bestellt. Das Essen war lecker, schade nur das von mehreren Vorspeisen lediglich eine als Vorspeise kam, der Rest kam direkt vorm Hauptgang. Der Tisch ist nur leider zu klein dafür gewesen. Das Restaurant ist Recht klein aber schon eingerichtet, gemütlich und freundlich. Nur das Timing der Bedienung war nicht so gut. Ansonsten schöner Abend.

Ich kenne dieses Restaurant und auch dessen Vorgänger seit Jahren. Jetzt waren wir seit Längerem mal wieder hier und haben es nicht bereut. Der Service war heute zwar teilweise etwas unbeholfen, aber trotzdem nett und zuvorkommend. Alles okay also. Das Essen war absolut okay, aber nicht sehr gut also "nur" vier Sterne. Nach Google Rezension heißt das "Gut"! Fünf Sterne wären demnach "außerordentlich gut". Sorry...aber das ist das La Mancha leider nicht. Trotzdem kann ich das Restaurant empfehlen. Gutes Essen zu noch angemessenen Preisen.(bei den Garnelen jedoch leider nicht Zu wenige im Verhältnis zum Preis).Wie schon erwähnt...der Service war wirklich lieb und fleißig. Ach so...die Toiletten waren absolut okay sauber. Ich hätte/hatte keine Bedenken, sie zu nutzen. Wir waren nicht zum letzten Mal hier.

Eines meiner absoluten Lieblingsrestaurants. Das Essen und die Bedienung ist großartig! Danke, dass ihr da seid !

Leider fing der Abend nicht gut an, wir hatten reserviert, aber es war kein Tisch mehr frei. Daraufhin lies man uns eine Weile stehen bis uns im Nebenraum Tisch und Stühle hingestellt wurden. Wir haben also doch noch einen Platz bekommen. Auch wenn die Mitarbeiter freundlich waren, ließ der Service zu wünschen übrig. Wir haben bis alle ein Getränk hatten fast 30 Minuten gewartet. Das ist etwas ungünstig wenn man gemeinsam auf einen Geburtstag anstoßen möchte. Auch das Essen hat recht lange gedauert und kam auch nicht gleichzeitig. Es war in dem Nebenraum generell schwer einen der Kellner zu erwischen. Das Essen war insgesamt in Ordnung. Für meine Geschmack etwas zu salzig, aber okay. Das Ambiente ist an sich gemütlich, aber etwas wild. Ich weiß nicht, ob wir den Tag Pech hatten oder ob das immer so ist. Die Preise waren okay, aber für das Ambiente und den Service schon eher im oberen Bereich. 7,90€ für ein Glas Wein ist dann schon eher teuer. Deswegen insgesamt 3 Sterne. Vielleicht hat man an einem anderen Tag mehr Glück 🤷‍♀️

Gerade gesehen, dass La Mancha endlich einen eigenen Eintrag hat !! Daher war leider ein Bild vom Essen nicht mehr machbar. Wir sind mit Freunden das zweite Mal hier. Es war beide Male klasse, Chefin bedient sehr freundlich und schnell. Der Chef steht in der Küche und kocht super. Heute gabs nur Gambas al ajillo -super lecker- und für die Mädels eine gemischte Vorspeisenplatte -toll, lecker & vielfältig. Wir kommen mit Sicherheit und gerne wieder
