The spitzle was really nice full of flavor and texture, on the other hand the schnitzel was not at all what was expected and fell short to deliver any lasting impression, I guess the combination was a bit too much for the Spargel cheese and pork ! not recommended at all

Rustic, very tasty restaurant with a very nice waiter (best regards to Bernd von den Pfälzer). We went there for dinner two evenings in a row, everything tasted so delicious. The Swabian onion roast with spaetzle, simply world class. I have never tasted such a delicious sauce, the quality of the meat was 100% and the cooking point was perfect. If you are looking for good Swabian home cooking in a rustic restaurant with a nice waiter, I can 100% recommend the crooked bridge.

Dinner of the day: Tagliatelle with chanterelles and wine sauce was unfortunately not tasty, chanterelles were from a jar and the sauce was made with very sour wine. Expensive fun for €21. My husband's pepper schnitzel was delicious.

It tastes absolutely amazing every time. Since I like to drink my KiBa slightly diluted, it was stretched for me to make 3 glasses for the price of one with real tap water! Something that was not at all a given, I was delighted! The portions could be a bit bigger but only because I'm a glutton and it's really delicious!

From the outside it looks pretty inconspicuous. Inside it is decorated like a typical pub. The service was a bit slow, but he was alone. The food came relatively quickly. Sauces were only available in these plastic bags (like at the snack bar), which really doesn't have to be that way. To eat the schnitzel was a good size and the fries were good. The entrecote was medium rare, tender and juicy. The medallions were also juicy and tasted good with the mushroom sauce and spaetzle. All in all it was a good German meal.

You definitely have to visit when you are in Tübingen - the food is really great - the service is great - the location in the old town is awesome.

Unfortunately I can't write a good review. The restaurant has a nice, pleasant atmosphere, but the food is terrible. We ordered three different dishes, all three were made of the same meat, tasteless and so tough that I couldn't swallow.

The owner is unable to assert himself against a food stall. Complete incompetence!

A Swabian living in exile in Hesse has to take every opportunity to eat the dishes he hasn't had in decades. We discovered the restaurant while walking around the city and I immediately spotted the sour kidneys with fried potatoes on the daily recommendation. We sat outside on the crooked bridge, the staff was attentive and friendly, the Nierle was good. It was great, it tasted hot, it was good!

While we were waiting for them to give us the bill (you have to go inside if you want to pay with a card), we asked for a glass of water, and when we were drinking it they gave us a bill for €4.40, and I told him, stupid as I am. .. no, that is not our bill, we have eaten... and he answers, okay, but this is the water that you have asked for... A great restaurant to sit outside. The staff very friendly. The food is somewhat expensive and there is a huge selection on the menu. But the portions are huge and the taste is definitely worth a full 5 stars. If I were to be in Tübingen again, this would be my restaurant of choice.

The schnitzels are practically all the same, just baked with different ingredients. A Cordon Blue is a breaded butterfly schnitzel with cheese and ham gratinated. The spaetzle are totally watery, they were probably pre-cooked and then put in hot water again, frying them briefly would be better! The sauce, which you have to order separately and costs an incredible 5.50 euros, unfortunately tastes like a packet of sauce. The fries are delicious. Unfortunately, given the prices are quite high, there isn't even a small side salad. The service is very very good and all the employees are very friendly. Unfortunately, you have to queue in front of the toilets when it's busy as there is only one toilet for each gender.

I absolutely loved the fried schnitzel with extra gorgonzola sauce. I actually had it twice and will definitely come back for more. Hands down the best in Germany. Nice and cozy location. Also, +1 for the beer.

Unser Besuch an einem Sonntag hat sich zu einem Totalreinfall entwickelt: Allein schon die Breite Karte lässt darauf schließen, dass hier kulinarisch keine Meisterwerke erwartet werden dürfen. Mein Cevapcici war eine halbe Portion mit ungewürzten Pommes. Über 18 EUR dafür sind dreist. Die Maultaschen meiner Frau haben bei ihr zu einer unruhige Nacht geführt. Ihr Urteil: „Widerlich!“ Geschmacklich braucht sowas kein Mensch. Die Schnitzel unserer Kinder waren zwar gut bemessen, gefühlt aber sehr schnell kalt. Wäre auch schön, wenn da wenigstens ein Salatblatt auf dem Teller gelegen hätte. Nur Frittiergedöns auf dem Teller. Auch die Pommes ohne Gewürz. Unsere befreundete Familie war ebenfalls hochbegeistert. Deren Sohn konnte nicht einmal die gelieferte „Spezi“ trinken. Zwar war der Service durchaus freundlich und bemüht. Wer vernünftig essen möchte, ist an anderer Stelle besser aufgehoben. Mit 9 Personen (davon 5 Kinder!) rund 190 EUR für Convenience-Food. Somit teuer und schlecht.

Friendly guy running the place and he was kept busy. Leisurely dining. Unsure if English menus are available, we didn't ask as not necessary.

02/23/24 Wow Wow Wow. An insider tip. Rustic pub with one of the best fillet steaks in the area. Everything to the point, super crispy, great flavors. The wedges are perfect. Salad dressing just right. Nice service. Everything is beautifully presented to the eye. So I'll be coming more often from now on. The Cordonbleu was also as if it were pictured. Tasted great. I would like to give 6 stars. On March 25th, 2021 to Tübingen (11 km), Corona tested. went for a stroll. It's SOOO much fun to stroll again despite Corona. Found the Crooked Bridge. We got a place, I, 63, and my wife, 59, were as happy as two little children. Finally eating out again. I ordered roast beef and my wife ordered gyros. What can I say? It was very good. The weather was beautiful. The service is funny and original. So you can really recommend it.

Restaurant typique allemand, on y mange bien. En bonne quantité et le serveur est sympa ! Les bières 🍺 sont top ! N'hésitez pas à y faire un tour , c'est dans un endroit caché de Tübingen mais qui lorsque vous ouvrez les portes, vous découvrez un univers de bonnes odeurs et de saveurs.

Wir waren am 2. Weihnachtsfeiertag abends dort! Das Essen - so lala! Aber bester Service ever! Es war gerammelt voll, mit viel Glück haben wir einen Platz bekommen. Der Kellner - ein junger Mann - hatte alles im Griff und alles im Auge. Er war zuständig für alles: Bier zapfen, andere Getränke einschenken, Espresso machen, Bestellungen aufnehmen, Servieren, kassieren, einfach alles. Er flitzte nur so durch's Lokal. Schätzungsweise hat er an diesem Abend einen Streckenrekord aufgestellt! Und er war niemals genervt - immer freundlich und aufmerksam. Chapeau!

Im Vergleich zu früheren Besuchen leider kein Vergleich mehr.Das Essen war ok , aber zu teuer .Eine grosse Schieferplatte mit wenig drauf.Essen immer ohne Salate. Das Peronal sowas von lustlos.Beim Bezahlen mindestens 20 Minuten eher länger auf die Rechnung gewartet.Nachdem Sie für den Extrateller 2€ wollten, würde ich vorschlagen auch noch für den Kinderstuhl eine Leihgebühr zu verlangen.Alles Gute aber ohne uns!!!

Verstehe manche Rezessionen nicht gut ist was anderes. Hatte ein Cordon Bleu bestellt Bekommen habe ich ein Schnitzel mit Käse überbacken Habe den Kellner angesprochen er sagt steht in der Karte mit Käse überbacken Ein Cordon Bleu ist gefüllt und nicht überbacken Verarsche sonnst nichts.

Wir waren Vergangenes Jahr in Tübingen, auf den Tübinger Jazz &Klassik tagen und sich abends in der krummen Brücke eingekehrt. Die Bedienung war aufmerksam zuvorkommen (wir saßen draußen!) Die Gläser waren nie wirklich leer und das essen auf den Punkt gegart super lecker. Fazit : wem Freundlichkeit, Aufmerksamkeit, und preisleistung wichtig ist dem empfehle ich die krumme Brücke in Tübingen 👌
