So inconspicuous and incredibly delicious. Every dish is of high quality and also looks chic. I can recommend the non-alcoholic lemonades! And what is also very important, the price is right. Conclusion: My favorite restaurant in Magdeburg 🫶🏼

(e.g. Ponjo soup (StudioGIBLI)) I had already done my homework and picked out my dishes on the Kozoku website. And that was a good thing. Because the menu at IM Kozoku itself is not that nice. Confusing, colorless and too much on one page. It felt like Ikea cabinet building instructions. My mother-in-law was completely overwhelmed. The service was very friendly, competent and quick. The drinks were very nice to look at and, above all, delicious. The starters were also very tasty, which I was very happy about. I had the fried dumplings. (Dumplings are exactly my thing) The main courses were in no way inferior. These were very nice to look at and, like everything, were VERY VERY DELICIOUS. The ambience was actually nice. A small restaurant with great potential. The atmosphere is very cozy and decorated in Japanese style. The menu is very extensive and there is something for every taste. The food is presented stylishly and attractively, with absolutely perfect freshness and taste. Ultimately, the friendliness of the hosts is also convincing. Thank you. Highly recommended!

great authentic restaurant with a wide variety of dishes without sacrificing quality

Have been there many times and this time also with our little daughter. The employees, especially the waitress, were so kind to her and treated her so lovingly. We have never been treated so well as a family at a restaurant.

Small but fine restaurant with a huge selection of fresh, delicious dishes and tasty lemonades. The sushi was perfect, the service was very attentive and friendly. Definitely recommended! Tables for two were sometimes very narrow, but there was enough space for a partner's plate of sushi.

The food is really very good, the menu leaves nothing to be desired. From sushi to frame to kare raisu, every dish is recommended. Price performance is appropriate, it definitely won't be a cheap visit, but one that tastes good. Why only 4 stars, last time we had to wait almost 35 minutes to order and then another 45 minutes for the food…. Clear recommendation!

Authentic, small restaurant with a large selection. In terms of quality, every dish was really high quality and well prepared. The hibiscus iced tea was also incredibly delicious. I will definitely come back next time I visit Magdeburg.

I was at this place with my family & friends. The restaurant is small but cosy with different Asian deco elements🏮The stuff is very friendly & nice😊The food was served quickly. We had tonkotsu ramen🍜, tori karaage, sake maki, tekka maki, unagi nigiri, ibodai, dragon eyes🍣🍙🍘, daiginjo sake, yuzu tea, butterfly pea tea, ginger tea, choco panacotta, mochi ice. We really loved the dishes😋

Great Japanese food. I haven't eaten so well in a long time. Every bite was simply divine. The service was very friendly. The atmosphere is quintessentially Japanese. Like in a typical sake restaurant. On our next visit to Magdeburg we'll go to Kazoku again Kazuko for the second. It was again extremely tasty. Staff very friendly. I would love to come back next time I visit Magdeburg 😁

Quer durch die Karte alles top zubereitet. Sushi handwerklich und geschmacklich sehr gut. Das Personal ist schnell uhd aufmerksam. Toiletten sind auch sauber, alles macht einen gepflegten Eindruck. Such a great restaurant! It is lovingly and detailedly furnished, the staff is courteous (they even take the guests' jackets) and the food is fantastic. Absolutely top price-performance ratio.

Top service, very tasty food and great ambience with a mix of traditional and modern Japanese decor! Just be careful with the ingredients. Some dishes were declared as veggie/vegan, but had e.g. E.g. “Tamago” (egg)/ “Bonito” (fish) as ingredients. I think that veggie/vegan is more of an indication that these dishes can be served veggie/vegan.

We ate here on a Monday evening and luckily were able to get a table for an hour without a reservation. The restaurant is quite cozy, especially for a group of >4 people. There are still nice places outside, but not nearly as nicely decorated as the interior there. It's definitely worth a visit for the beautifully presented food and drink.

The food is okay but it is incredibly small and crowded. One gets to basically share the table with strangers. No intimacy at all. And the prices are not on the inexpensive side too...

Ich habe liefern lassen. Eine Grilled Fish Platte plus eine Suppe, insgesamt 55 Euro. Das darf Essen kosten wenn es gut ist. Qualitativ war es dann auch gut. Leider gab es keinerlei Muscheln zum Platte. Auch bei einem Anruf danach hieß es einfach: "Sorry, Muscheln sind aus". Das ist mir zu wenig bei einer Platte für 42 €. Ich habe einen Vorschlag bei dem Anruf vermisst. So ist das zu teuer für die Leistung.

I've been eating here regularly for a year and can only recommend it to everyone. You can sit outside and inside. The interior is relatively small and designed like a Japanese pub. I like it and find it very comfortable. Of the starters, I can particularly recommend the takoyaki (squid balls) and the beef tartare. There is also enough choice for vegetarians. Whether it's ramen, Japanese curry or sushi, it tastes fresh and simply delicious! The homemade lemonade and shakes are also by far the best. The service is very friendly and I almost feel like I'm in "my living room". However, I recommend making a reservation in the afternoon/evening.

Me and my family have already been bunch of times to this place and enjoy everytime trying something new. The food is delicious with multiple options for adults with a quick service. The decor is welcoming and cozy. I would surely visit again. One ⭐️ Minus : I wish to see some more food options for kids besides Desserts.

The food was very good. However, we were surprised when we were asked to leave after the main course because our table was reserved for the next guests. We had made a reservation for 6:30 p.m. and were shown out at 7:50 p.m. just as we were about to order dessert. Very unfriendly

The service is friendly and understanding if you need a little longer to get through the various drinks and dishes on the menu in dim lighting. The decision is difficult because the food or drinks that the neighbor is getting also look very tasty. Conclusion: The starters are consistently delicious and surprisingly seasoned, the main course is imaginatively prepared and tastes excellent, as is the dessert. Clear recommendation. We have already looked for the best ramen in Cologne, Düsseldorf and Dresden. We found a restaurant in Hamburg that was really good, but that certain something was still missing. We found everything here: taste, authenticity, ambience, service. All in all extremely recommended for all fans of Japanese cuisine. The ramen was by far the best. The starters were very good, gyoza like grandma made. We are very satisfied that we ate here and can recommend the shop 100% 😊

It's not a classic Chinese restaurant, but rather Vietnamese or generally Asian. We sat outside under the roof. the service is very attentive and nice. The food is rather small portions, but quite tasty. A lot of it is offered with rice dough. There were only 2 small wontons in the wonton soup, which I think was clearly not enough. A lot of broth, but little content. The shrimps with minced meat were quite tasty, as was the squid with minced meat filling. But here too, portions are clearly too small. Unfortunately, the large wonton soup quickly became a bit mushy due to the soggy rice noodles. All in all it was ok, not cheap at 65 EUR for 2 people, but not more.

An absolute recommendation! The sushi was simply bombastic and we have never experienced such an atmosphere. The facility invites you to stay and marvel. Whom If you get bored while eating, you can even read the manga that is available. Definitely an insider tip!

This was easily one of the worst Japanese dining experiences I've had so far. We ordered tonkotsu ramen, tori karaage, yakitori, and the sushi for one menu. The ramen tasted like overly salty instant noodles, and the karaage (fried chicken) barely had any chicken. The yakitori was the biggest disappointment—€7.20 for two skewers, each with two tiny, dry, flavorless pieces of chicken, and I couldn't even tell which part of the chicken it was. We got trick from the menu photo showing four skewers with generous portions of meat. The sushi was slightly better, but still overpriced for such mediocre quality. I definitely won't be ordering from here again.

Normally one of the best addresses in Magdeburg, food great, atmosphere interesting and service ok too. The last time I had a reservation was at 7 p.m., but unfortunately I didn't get my ordered table until 8:15 p.m.! (I actually didn't want to share my experience because I thought it was an isolated case.) Today I tried to order for 12 people, "we can only accept up to 6 people" ok, then I order for 2 x 6 people, yes that works, but then you can't sit together... what a strange dialogue! But I promised that I would also share this on Google, and I have now done justice to that. 😀 At some point the customer experience apparently no longer counts because “you can afford it” is my impression.

We are tourists in Magdeburg and searched for a good restaurant on Google. The reviews for Kazoku made us curious and lucky for us! Reserved a table. The restaurant was full inside and out. the service was really great, absolutely friendly and relaxed. We ordered a few small appetizers and different sushi variants😋 The platters were really well prepared, very rich and, above all, really tasty🤩 Price/performance ratio is also top. I can fully recommend this restaurant.

We stumbled upon this lovely restaurant last year by chance and came back three times during the same week. Coming back to Magdeburg a year later, we were thrilled to see the place has not lost a single bit of its perks - amazing food, great drinks and amazing service and hospitality.

Best address in Magdeburg when it comes to excellent Asian food! I am a regular guest and am thrilled every time. The dishes are exceptionally good and the staff is incredibly friendly without being intrusive. Top price-performance ratio. Keep it up and you won't be able to get rid of me again :)

Was there today for the first time based on my friend's recommendations and I have to say it's an absolute must if you've always wanted to eat udon noodles or ramen. I had the udon noodles myself and I have to say it was very, very tasty. If I didn't have fixed costs I would probably eat there every day! I would recommend making a reservation or coming spontaneously shortly after opening time. The decor also fits in very well and the staff is very friendly! Gladly again!

I had 10 tofu skewers 14b Tofu no Pizza 21 Nasu Dengaku and I haven't eaten so well in ages! It was all so well coordinated and I could have easily fooled myself. The restaurant would be a reason for me to move to Magdeburg. At least I will now stop there every time on the way from OWL to Berlin.

Really a treat! The food is very good. Deciding wasn't easy as there are some great dishes on the menu. The drink selection was also very diverse. The ambience is very nice. There are so many details, even in the toilet. 😄 The staff was attentive and repeatedly asked if everything was okay. Questions were always answered in a friendly manner. And the wait for the drinks and food to arrive wasn't long. We'll definitely be back.

Easily the best restaurant in town! Plenty of incredibly high quality and fairly unique menu items, a whole lot of comfy vibes all over and some straight up S-tier staff members. This place even holds up after coming back from a food-centered trip to Japan. Virtually all dishes are recommendations but my personal favorites are the Takoyaki and a classic bowl of ramen soup. Although not the main focus of the menu, there's also a very fair vegetarian selection on offer. For me, this is the kind of place I'd happily drive 3 hours to, just to have dinner <3

The most authentic Japanese restaurant I have found in Germany so far! A hidden gem between all the restaurants, you can find original Japanese cuisine here. I was blown away. The staff are very attentive and friendly. Since the restaurant itself is rather small, we ordered takeaway and waited outside in the beautiful outdoor area. The red lanterns were already switched on in the evening and since it was still a bit cool in the evening, we were each given different teas while we waited for the house. These were homemade and so delicious that I will order one next time (it was orange-ginger my absolute favourite!). I definitely recommend it, everyone has to try it! There are even squid balls just like they are made in Japan, plus other specialties you can't get anywhere else! :)

A piece of Japan in Magdeburg I have visited many Japanese restaurants, but in my opinion Kazoku Izakaya is the best Japanese restaurant in Magdeburg. The atmosphere is authentic and inviting, which immediately creates a feeling of comfort. The food is simply outstanding! It is freshly and perfectly prepared and the selection of traditional Japanese dishes leaves nothing to be desired. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. They ensure that you as a guest feel completely comfortable. They are always helpful and competent if you have any special requests or questions about the dishes. Kazoku Izakaya has managed to bring a little piece of Japan to Magdeburg and I can only recommend everyone to visit this wonderful restaurant. An absolute must for all lovers of Japanese cuisine. We'd love to come back!
