Unfortunately this time it was a failure for me. I ordered the salad with chanterelles and was really looking forward to it. This Sunday the staff was obviously significantly outnumbered, so we had to wait much longer than usual for our food. This can always happen... When we got our food, I was unfortunately disappointed. The chanterelles were totally sandy. So after 2.3 forks I looked around for a waiter. Mr. Kühne was nearby and he took my plate away with an apology. Unfortunately, I was not offered an alternative. I ate my fried potatoes and a slice of my daughter's pizza... This was not how I imagined my meal to be. Ms. Hoffmann cleared our table without any comment. At the end my salad was also on our bill! However, this was canceled after a short conversation. It's a shame I was let go with such a bad feeling...

Why isn't the menu published? I wanted to reserve a table, but there is no information about the offer. Do I really have to look at the menu posted at the restaurant first?

The restaurant is located right next to the forest and has a unique ambience. A mix of Bavarian paired with pastel tones. Very special but also particularly comfortable. The service was very good and so was the food. However, the drinks are overpriced, especially the (table) water. Take an example e.g. France, water is free there! That's how it has to be.

Delicious food in a nice atmosphere. The restaurant can be recommended for both business meals and a romantic date. We particularly liked the large, covered winter garden. The summer chicken salad was large and tasted delicious. The roulade was tasty, but the portion could have been larger. If the prices had been set a little more moderately, I would have given it a full 5 stars. Unfortunately I have to deduct a star in this price range because certain details weren't right. In an upscale restaurant, I don't expect paper napkins or paper place mats. High-quality cutlery, including sharp knives and more comfortable chairs in the winter garden would also be appropriate. Although it was set up for bread or a greeting from the kitchen, nothing of the sort was served. The small plates remained empty. Complaining at a high level, but ultimately high prices are also charged. Salad, roulade, two drinks and two coffees cost €85. The waiters were friendly and attentive. Parking is free. Reservation recommended. It remains unclear why there is such a big secret about the menu online. Not particularly customer-friendly, especially for people who have difficulty making spontaneous decisions.

We were here recently on the occasion of a golden wedding anniversary. A really great restaurant with a special flair. The company's children were able to run around on the large lawn and play areas while we sat on the large terrace. The service was very nice and quick. The food is really great, I had the salmon and it was excellent 😀 I particularly liked the huge selection of non-alcoholic drinks such as limoncello! The interior is also very cozy and the combination of rustic wood and bright colors is something special. I'll be visiting again soon with my husband!

This restaurant absolutely did not meet our expectations. The food is average. The prices for these are very excessive. The service was overwhelmed and chaotic with the number of guests. In any case, this restaurant does not live up to the claim of offering Austrian cuisine.

Not recommendable!!!! After dinner I felt sick and lay on the couch at home all afternoon/evening. Overpriced, unfriendly and inattentive, after complaining the boss was arrogant, unreasonable and arrogant... Never again and will never recommend it... I'll spend my money somewhere else with family and friends... I'm 51 years old and have never had such a bad overall package in the catering industry... I wouldn't be surprised if the RTL guy from RTL shows up soon...

A very unusual and great atmosphere, we were totally thrilled. The quality and taste of the food was excellent. Price-performance ratio fits. Unfortunately the service this time was slow and inattentive, which is a shame, otherwise it would have been a great evening and we would certainly have eaten even more.

The four of us ate at the Jägerheim in a great atmosphere. Our stay was supposed to last 3 hours. The reason for this was obviously massive problems with the staff and/or in the kitchen. We waited well over two hours for our food. (Cordon Bleu, Wiener Schnitzel, beef roulade and sauerbraten) Knowing that the food here is in the higher price segment and that the restaurant presents itself as such, this of course raises expectations that, unfortunately, at least today, were not fulfilled at all. The sauerbraten and the roulade were delicious. The Cordon Bleu for €34 was unfortunately more breading than meat and only had a little cheese to offer. The Wiener Schnitzel was ok, but unfortunately nothing more. You've had better food elsewhere. The fries had obviously been fried repeatedly and were therefore partly impossible to pick up with a fork. We were also surprised that mayonnaise and ketchup cost extra in this price segment. But so be it. Getting drinks required increased personal effort. Some of the staff seemed overwhelmed. If at the end an incorrect invoice is presented and money is (rightly) requested after prior payment, this unfortunately completes the current picture of the Jägerheim. We were quite disappointed, but in fairness we raised this on site and at least received an apology. 👍🏻

We were here for the first time. We liked it very much. We will definitely come back. Recommended.

Attentive, modern, stylish... and the food is simply outstanding! What you should expect given the prices! We'd love to come back! Simply worth a visit!

What a lovely evening with great cuisine

Always absolutely delicious, top quality!! Service is always very attentive, price performance is justified, my favorite restaurant in Dortmund…

We again had a good and freshly prepared meal in the beautiful terrace area, the prices are borderline, but the food was very tasty.

Second visit here and it was even better. We went here for dad's birthday with 7 adults and 2 kids under 5. We had a table in the pavilion which is super cute decorated with huge colourful lamps and of course everything is pink. We had a drink first with most of us opting for Spritz Version. Aperol spritz and mine was a Ramazotti Spritz..very tasty. For dinner we ordered cappaccio (I had the truffle one, brother went without any and dad had the mushroom one) all very tasty. All meals were served simultaneously so that no one had to wait which is awesome. I had veal, dad and brother had beef cheeks and sister had venison goulash. Everything again was perfect. And for dessert I opted for the strawberry tiramisu, dad went for zabaione and brother went for chocolate lava cake. It was all again really good. The menu itself is massive as they offer Italian food as well as local dishes. And there is the every pink theme when it comes to drinks and desserts.. It was a lovely evening and celebrations but over all made special thanks to the good food. Looking forward to be back soon.

Unfortunately, the Jägerheim has unpleasant 1-star reviews deleted, even if they only contain factual criticism (e.g. about the internal processes at events). I would have liked to have written a more detailed review; But that recently only led to a request for deletion, which is why I think the 3.5 stars on TripAdvisor are more credible overall. I'm curious to see if it survives this review.

Based on the experience of Engel and Völkers' annual reception, I would rather place such events in the future in hands who can handle the number of people. In any case, the Jägerheim did not cover itself with fame that day. I'm curious to see whether my review will be cowardly deleted or whether the service will be improved.

The fresh furnishings give us a lot to expect. Unfortunately the service was just ok. Changing staff at almost every service. No fresh, cheerful greeting or the like that you would find in other restaurants in the same price range and ambience. At the end there was a super unfriendly expulsion. We didn't know the opening times. They were also not communicated. Not even the last round we ordered. The light was turned off 5 minutes after the last glass, even though we said we would just drink it quickly. (We were there with 8 people) That's not possible. I was very disappointed and cannot recommend the experience.

Very nice covered outdoor area (rain-wind-coldproof). Food at a higher level and also has the standard and price. Points deducted for the vegetables, which were almost inedible due to too much soy sauce. The duck was good. Spare ribs ok, both dishes were over €30, difficult. Good for business lunches. However, it is also suitable for more romantic evenings. Very courteous and pleasant service. Reservations recommended

We always enjoy spending time in the Jägerheim :-) This time we had the veal curry sausage with truffle fries as the main course and were thrilled. The curry sauce is particularly delicious!

We ate here for the first time. My sauerbraten with dumplings and applesauce was very tasty. Good price/performance ratio. My husband had a rump steak with fried potatoes. The meat quality could have been a bit better. The steak was soft, but a bit dry on the inside. (250g medium). That was a bit too expensive... The ambience is very nice and lovingly designed. There are sufficient seating opportunities. The dessert Was delicious. (Apple strudel with warm vanilla sauce.)

We were at the Jägerheim with a large group of six adults and four children - first of all: the service was very attentive and friendly. The ambience was incredibly beautiful and stylish. I felt like I was on vacation. There is a lot on offer for the children (trampolines, playhouse, painting materials, swings, soccer field, lots of open space outside). And very importantly the food: we were all very satisfied and I'm already looking forward to our next visit. The prices are quite high, but we all had a very relaxed and good culinary evening in a great atmosphere. Therefore definitely a recommendation 😊

We've enjoyed going here for years, always going into the room on the left. For the very first time today (because it was actually too early) we were invited into the main dining room. But we were surprised at how spacious it was and how tastefully furnished (pink meets farmhouse). The team is very careful and attentive, just makes you feel good. Our bruschetta was a poem, delicious. We had Cordon Bleu, the meat was juicy, the cheese wasn't overpowering, but tastes are different. For us, the dish as it was was great. The salad with it had lime and plenty of sweetness, which is exactly how we currently love our salads, but the hit was the venison goulash, buttery, tender, juicy, to die for. The meal was rounded off with a chocolate cake with a liquid center and a crème brûlée. That was a big movie for us today, I calculated in my head what it would have been worth to me for all the goodies, but I was so pleasantly surprised by the price that was quoted, which was completely appropriate for the top quality, that I simply thought it was great I also rewarded the team effort with a tip that, in my opinion, was appropriate. We really liked that and next time we will definitely turn right in the house. Many thanks, of course also to the kitchen (you usually don't see these professionals).

The Jägerheim restaurant is one of the more upscale restaurants in this area. The facility is adapted to the name “Jägerheim”. But the atmosphere is definitely cozy and the staff is attentive and friendly. The menu offers a good and interesting selection. There is something for everyone. The prices are rather above the usual average. There are enough free parking spaces at the restaurant. I would like to mention one negative point. A cordon bleu with relatively tasteless cheese doesn't work at all! Otherwise the food was very tasty.

Apart from the ambience and service, I can't recommend anything else here. All salads are prepared with a sweet dressing. It's not our taste. Steaks were more than average, you don't have to spend that much money for them. Otherwise very expensive and unfortunately not tasty.

Today I had dinner at the Jägerheim with my family, adults and children. We were all completely satisfied and full. We celebrated my mother's 90th birthday there last year with a large group.

Wonderful discovery. Friendly welcome and service. Great selection of varied dishes. A wild garlic risotto at its best. Asparagus salad is fantastic. We will come back when we are near Dortmund.

Nice atmosphere, fast service, good quality meat. And yet I expected more for the price: my beef lay lost on the large plate, the fried potatoes were partially burnt and lukewarm, just thrown on top. No leaf of vegetables or decko. I had to order an additional salad. A simple version of herbs, the sauce was tasty. The schnitzel, wafer-thin, deep-fried. A bit of a shame for this place!

The Jägerheim is always worth a visit. Great ambience; really something different. Top service! Very attentive and you know what you are doing. You really don't find it that often in the catering industry anymore. The food was also top. A great selection from home cooking to Italian and burgers. But still a common thread. We would like to come again.

A really great restaurant with first-class service staff and super fresh and delicious food. We like to travel from Düsseldorf to Dortmund again and again.

Four of us visited the restaurant on a Friday. We received a very friendly welcome and were shown to the table we had ordered. Our coat was handed over to the employee, which was then brought back to the table when we left. Where else can you find something like that today? Four different dishes were ordered, which were perfectly prepared and served at the same time after about 30 minutes. The portions were very generous and we enjoyed it exceptionally well. All in all it was a successful evening, we would like to come back.

Always happy to come here. If you are visiting Dortmund, you should definitely stop here and visit this wonderful restaurant.

As always, a very tasty meal with portions to fill you up! The prices are high, but justified. The waitresses are nice, attentive and helpful. We always enjoy coming here. Small criticism: Please leave a little more time between the starter and the main course. We usually don't even manage to enjoy the delicious aperitifs because the main course is already on the table.

These restaurants are really recommended. Food great. Pleasant atmosphere and friendly service. Prices a little higher but justified. I'd love to come back. Simply great.

Highly recommended restaurant just outside with a modern Alpine flair. The three of us have been there twice now for lunch on a Saturday. The restaurant is also well booked at lunchtime, so a reservation is more than recommended. The menu offers a very good selection from pasta to fusion dishes to home cooking and a good selection of fish and meat dishes. Personally, we were thrilled with the spare ribs, the roast beef with roasted potatoes and the veal cheeks. A service team of motivated and friendly young men provides attentive but unobtrusive care. For us, everything is right here, including parking in front of the door. Always my pleasure.

The prices are higher, but the food was good. We had a lovely evening and would love to come back again. There is a playground outside with a matching pink slide :) rustic and modern thanks to the crazy mix of pink. Toilets are clean. Staff was nice so far.

We were in the Jägerheim for the first time today and will be back. Everything was just right, from the friendly, trained staff, the special ambience, the extensive menu, the very well prepared dishes and the well-sized portions, I can't think of anything that could have been better. So: I can recommend the Jägerheim without reservation. The price/performance ratio is also right.

This restaurant is absolutely recommended. Not cheap, but the price is absolutely justified! Very good food, great ambience, very good service. We were there with 15 people and everyone had their order within a very short time, so no one had to wait long until we could eat together. I can absolutely recommend it!

We went to the Jägerheim for the first time at the weekend, but we weren't 100% satisfied. The food was visually absolutely great, but unfortunately (partially) a flop in terms of taste. The broth and fried potatoes were quite salty and the roulade was very tough. After asking if everything was good, our companion said that the fried potatoes were salty. The waiter accepted it, turned around and said to the other waiter: "The fried potatoes were supposedly too salty." I didn't even "dare" to talk about the roulade anymore. The waiter probably didn't mean anything bad, but it came across that way. And there was no apology either. Nevertheless, it has to be said that the salmon and the veal cheeks were amazing and the red cabbage was absolutely delicious. The dessert was also great. But if you expect a warm creme brulee, you shouldn't order it. It was always tasty, just not warm.

Five of us were there between the Christmas holidays and New Year. We all had a small starter (soup and salad), a main course and later dessert. I have to say that I tried to eat with as few modest expectations as possible. Maybe that also contributed to the fact that I'm completely thrilled. But the rest of us were just as excited. I really don't know what could have been better about the food. Everything tasted excellent (soup, meat with side dishes and all desserts). I don't drink alcohol, so I can't comment on the wines or beers. But the food and the nice service are really top. We arranged to meet there again immediately after Easter. Being able to eat at this level is certainly not a given in Dortmund.

Waren zum zweiten Mal dort und wohl auch zum letzten Mal. Das Ambiente ist ganz nett, aber viel zu eng und für eine Unterhaltung eine zu laute Geräuschkulisse. Die Karte liest sich gut, allerdings sind die Preise teilweise schon unverschämt. Z.b. Bruschetta-2 Scheiben Baguette, beträufelt mit Öl und klein geschnittenen trockenen Tomaten (11€), Frittatensuppe- (12€), Chicken Burger (sehr übersichtlich) mit einem kleinen Patty 3 Scheiben Gewürzgurken und Salatblatt, einem Klecks Soße und Pommes (20€), Kalbschnitzel 2 Stück mit Beilage, wo die Panade einfach nur blass ist und die ersten 10 Minuten nicht überlebt (4 Gäste haben das bestellt und bei allen gleich schlecht) für 25€ ist schon eine Frechheit…der Service war bemüht, konnte sich aber nicht 3 Getränke merken und brachte jedes Mal das Falsche…bei ca. 60€ pro Person hat man eine andere Erwartung! Leider durchgefallen!

I ate there for the first time today and I was positively impressed. For the main course I had venison goulash, which was absolutely great. The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere and the employees were always friendly and available. You were personally greeted and farewelled by the boss, which is something we don't see very often these days. All in all, absolutely recommended 👍🏻

We had dinner at the Jägerheim on Christmas Day with a party of 14 people. My wife wrote an honest and fair review after the visit. This probably didn't suit the owner of the Jägerheim, as my wife later received an email from Google with the information that the owner felt his personal rights had been violated and that we as evaluators had the burden of proof that we were there. We were able to prove this and accordingly the rating is still available. However, other negative comments have been deleted because, as I said, proof was requested. If a restaurateur resorts to such means to delete negative reviews or silence them, for me that is an outrage and a declaration of bankruptcy like I have never experienced before. You should think twice about whether you are spending your money in better places. We will do it! For this reason there is only one star each

Leider viel mehr Schein als sein. Hübsch eingerichtetes Lokal, mal was anderes mit den vielen bunten Akzenten. Das Essen ist in Ordnung, aber sehr hochpreisig und sehr wenig. Die Getränkepreise sind absolut überzogen. Leider ist der Service quasi nicht existent, wir mussten mehrmals die Kellner rufen, um neue Getränke zu bestellen und sowohl beim Essen, als auch danach, hat niemand gefragt, ob es geschmeckt hat. Der Gruß aus der Küche wurde hingestellt und der Kellner ist gegangen, ohne ein Wort zur Creme zu sagen, die zum Brot serviert wurde. Das kenne und erwarte ich anders. Als wir zahlen wollten, haben wir sicher 30Minuten warten müssen, bis überhaupt jemand gekommen ist. Zu dieser Zeit war der Laden schon nahezu leer und die Kellner hatten nichts zu tun. Bedienen/ abrechnen wollte aber scheinbar niemand. Die Mäntel wurden uns vom Inhaber abgenommen, die durften wir uns beim Verlassen des Restaurants selbst suchen. Die Garderobe befindet sich neben der Küche und entsprechend stinkt unsere Kleidung schlimmer als in einer Pommesbude. Besonders unangenehm aufgefallen ist uns, dass der Inhaber mit Blick auf den Ausgang in einem anderen Teil des Restaurants saß und einige Gäste persönlich an der Tür mit Handschlag verabschiedet hat und anderen nichtmal ein Wort der Verabschiedung hat zukommen lassen. Gleiches gilt für den Rest des Personals, wir haben uns nicht sonderlich willkommen gefühlt und es entstand der Eindruck, dass man hier nur mit der richtigen Markenkleidung, dem richtigen Auto oder Z-Promi-Status ein gern gesehener Gast ist.

Wir waren hier zum Weihnachtsessen mit Termin eingekehrt. Allerdings entwickelte sich die Warterei auf einen freien Tisch zum Alptraum, so das wir dann ohne Weihnachtsessen wieder gegangen sind. Schlechter geht nicht…

Vom betreten des Restaurants bis zum verlassen ein toller Service. Freundliches, aufmerksames, hilfsbereiten Personal von der ersten bis zur letzten Sekunde. Schönes Ambiente, mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Essen wieder Top, waren jetzt zweimal da und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Neues Lieblingsrestaurant

Eigentlich ist das Restaurant sehr solide. Toiletten sind sauber und gereinigt und die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich zu einem. Das Essen aus der Gruppe war sehr gut. Außer das Essen "Züricher Geschnetzeltes", da war leider ein Haar in der Soße...

Leider nur auf Profit aus.... Wir waren am 1. Weihnachtstag mit einer Gesellschaft von ca. 15 Personen da. Als wir 3 Minuten bevor wir den Tisch reserviert haben, ankamen wurden wir schon unfreundlich begrüßt mit der Info das wir ja zu früh wären und der Tisch noch nicht fertig wäre.... Okay, es war viel los und das kann mal passieren. Als wir dann am Tisch waren, war dieser leider sehr eng. Man saß Schulter an Schulter und hatte leider null Bewegungsfreiheit. Es machte den Eindruck als wolle man möglichst viele Menschen auf einmal abfertigen, aber mit Gemütlichkeit hatte das leider nichts mehr zu tun. Da so viele Menschen in den Räumen war, war die Luft auch entsprechend gut und die Fenster ließen sich leider nicht öffnen.... Hätte ich gewusst das ein Saunerbesuch inklusive ist, hätte ich mich entsprechend angezogen. Es kam recht schnell ein Kellner um die Getränke aufzunehmen, eine Getränkekarte haben wir leider nicht bekommen. Als die Speisekarte ausgeteilt wurde ist uns erstmal der Atem gestockt. Wir haben damit gerechnet, dass es etwas teurer sein wird, aber die Preise waren meiner Meinung nach wirklich unverschämt. Eine einfache Frittatensuppe hat 10€ gekostet. Das günstigste Hauptgericht lag bei 24€ (Kässpätzle....). Ich hatte das Thaicurry mit Hähnchen für ca. 26€ und mein Mann die Rouladen für ca. 30€. Die Meisten Gerichte waren aber noch deutlich teurer. Mein Gericht war lecker und heiß. Allerdings haben viele am Tisch gesagt, dass ihr Essen grade mal warm wäre... Darf meiner Meinung nach nicht passieren. Erst recht nicht wenn man solche Preise für das Essen aufruft. Mein Mann ist leider auch nicht satt geworden, dass ging den Leuten die den Sauerbraten bestellt haben ähnlich. Uns wurde im Vorfeld schon gesagt, dass wir den Tisch nur bis 16 Uhr haben können, wir hatten für 14 Uhr reserviert. Um zehn vor vier wurden wir nicht sehr charmant aufgefordert zu zahlen... Leider sehr schade und bedarf keiner Wiederholung. Wir hatten uns sehr auf das Essen gefreut und das Ambiente wäre schön gewesen, wenn die Räume nicht bis zum Anschlag mit Menschen voll gewesen wären...
