The cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired! The windows are totally dirty. And the waiter cleans the windowsill with a napkin!! I really hope the kitchen looks different. The outside area could also be upgraded a bit. It actually tastes quite good, but some types of meat are not done right.

Decent food at reasonable prices. The service level is impressive. The only thing that doesn't work is the salad dressing!

When the weather is sunny and beautiful in summer, the outdoor area with its shade and trees is a place to linger for an endless amount of time. Food, drinks meet expectations, hospitality/service is always very polite and nice, something I've never experienced before. Lamb and a matching wine are what you would want in a Greek restaurant, without any criticism. We have enjoyed being guests there for many years. Many thanks to the entire Irodion team. We will continue to come to you in the future and look forward to delicious things on your menu.

I can't recommend it. Were there in a group. My husband and I love Metaxasauce. Therefore we ordered 2 different dishes with Metaxa sauce. I ordered pork fillet and got pork loin steaks with herb butter on them. The sauce was delivered separately. As a trained cook, I was extremely disappointed because the Metaxa sauce only had a little Metaxa in it and there were onion chunks measuring 1.5cm x 1.5cm in the sauce. Even though I gave the almost melted herb butter to a friend - it doesn't taste very good together - herb butter and diluted Metaxa onion sauce. The alleged pork fillet was 12 x 5 x 2 cm. The pig I would like to see what such a gigantic pork fillet has. The beans were a disgusting, overcooked mush. Service only brought drinks and food and was only seen again when it was cleared away. You always ask a few minutes after the food has been served if everything is ok. So that guests can complain if necessary. But what was really really bold came at the end. My husband orders an ouzo and is served still water in a shot glass. Be careful people!!!

We waited a bit long for our food and when it came, the salad and tzatziki were forgotten. The fries were not seasoned enough, as was the lamb shank with the noodles. The portions have also become a little smaller, but the portion was still enough to fill you up. But the service was very nice and always tried hard.

Delicious food served in huge portions. Nice personel. You can sit very nicely in the garden, which is mostly very shady.

It's very tight inside. The cutlery lying on the table was dirty and the cola we ordered had probably not been carbonated for a long time. Two out of three enjoyed the food. There was actually supposed to be dessert, but after no one came for ages, we changed our minds.

A top address for Greek food for many years. We have been to the previous restaurant regularly and the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff are still top. The portions are gigantic, even as they are now senior plates. Quality always great. Today we were again more than satisfied. And we were even able to park our 9 m motorhome.

Food was okay, tasty and not that expensive. Of course it depends on what and how much you order. It's logical 😁 but I can't complain at all, the ambience outside could be nicer, you could invest more time and love, friendly waiters but unfortunately you were a little overwhelmed in the evening.

Toilet was very dirty. Food and drink order was delivered incorrectly. When we wanted to pay, we asked again who had what. When the receipt came, we discovered that 3 out of 5 people had been billed incorrectly. Feedback was returned incorrectly. After my last visit I am very disappointed.

I'm disappointed and can't understand the previous reviews at all. The pita gyros was just tasteless, the meat was neither crispy nor spicy, the pita was soggy. The coleslaw had no spices. It's a shame, I don't need that again. The service was quick, but that's not enough for more stars. :(

The Ludwigsburg/Restaurant Irodion is conveniently located directly at the Gießen-Wieseck exit of the A 485. The large beer garden is in a quiet corner behind the inn. On May 1st in the evening around 6 p.m. the beer garden was well attended. Only the waiters/service staff were headless and ran around the tables completely uncoordinated. Some had beads of sweat on their faces (let's hope none of it dripped onto the food). I sat at my table for about 10 to 15 minutes. Since none of the numerous waiters came to my table to speak to me or hand me the menu, I left without having accomplished anything. The guests at the neighboring tables also had to wait a long time for a menu. I was in the restaurant once at the beginning of January. There, too, some of the staff seemed insecure to me - unsure when dealing with people.

We go to the restaurant regularly. It's great to sit outside, but it's also very nice inside. The food is super delicious. No matter what. For dessert, I would like a little more choice of typical Greek desserts. Service is friendly and very accommodating.

The taste of the food (gyros as if warmed up) has deteriorated, not only in my opinion, but also the service because the regular waiters are no longer there. The plates were colored and too smaller, the prices were raised by up to 4 euros per dish, the price-performance ratio is no longer correct. It's a shame actually.

It was our first time eating here and we got a table straight away without a reservation. The food was really very good and we didn't have to wait long. What bothered us and what we have never experienced before is the side salad served with mayo/remoulade. I then used these for my fries and completely left the salad, which only consisted of iceberg lettuce. And what is this, I go to a Greek restaurant and have to order and pay extra for my tzatziki for my gyros? This is standard in every other Greek restaurant. The owner should think about it. Cleanliness could be better, inside and outside. Spider webs in the lamps above the tables. Spruce up the front garden outside and make it nice, set up a few tables and the guests can linger there too.

Generally good price/performance ratio. In fact, a small portion of tzatziki should be included in the price of typical Greek dishes.

We are on site at least once a week. We love the quality and service. The portions are great. Sometimes the dogs are a bit annoying and 1 out of 20 times the fries are maybe a little softer but otherwise everything is great. We always have around 35 euros for drinks and are absolutely full and happy.

Unfortunately a total failure! We had to wait over 30 minutes for our starter. The main course didn't come at all... we waited for over an hour and a half and asked several times. We were repeatedly offered the Christo plate and dishes from other guests that we did not order. After waiting for 2 hours, we left the restaurant without eating. The restaurant is open until 1 a.m., but we didn't want to wait that long 😅 Absolutely poor service that seems overwhelmed.

Das Essen war sehr gut. Es ist gemütlich eingerichtet und die Bedienung war freundlich. Direkt dran gibt es genug Parkplätze. Auch mit dem Fahrrad gut zu erreichen.

Das Essen war nicht heiß, es schmeckte aber gut. Wenn die hintere Tür geöffnet wird zieht es wie Sau. Hatte ständig eiskalte Beine. Ich finde es seltsam, das der Kellner nicht wusste, welche Beilagen zu den Essen gehören. Bei der Abrechnung gab es wie immer Probleme. Hört der Kellner nicht zu? Muss ich griechisch lernen? Jedesmal steht was auf meiner Rechnung das ich nicht hatte, obwohl ich es doch kurz vorher gesagt hatte. Vor ca. 10 Jahren war alles Tipptopp. Was hat sich bei euch geändert?

Das Essen war sehr lecker, der Service sehr nett, aber etwas chaotisch, was daran gelegen haben könnte, dass das Restaurant recht voll war.

Das Essen war hervorragend und kam sehr zügig nach Bestellung am Tisch an, die Bedienungen waren auch sehr freundlich, wenn es auch jetzt zur weihnachtszeit recht voll war! Danke bis zum nächsten Mal

Das Essen? Wow mega Lecker,meistens Esse ich das Vegetarische Moussaka! Super super lecker! Nach dem Essen gibt es immer einen Ouzo. Sehr nette Bedienungen. Toller Service.

Tolles Essen und sehr freundliches und fleißiges Personal

Service ist gut und freundlich. Die Küche bedarf etwas mehr Engagement. Meine Scampi waren gut und frisch. Die Beilagen und Salate eher schlecht. Habe noch nie einen Eiersalat bei einem griechischen Restaurant auf dem Teller gehabt. Nachdem das Dressing meines Beilagensalat aus der Tube war, blieben die Beilagen des Hauptgerichts auch unberührt. Der Tomaten-Reis war verkocht.

Trotz gut besuchten Restaurant war es noch möglich sich am Tisch zu unterhalten so dass hier ein ruhiger und leckerer Abend war. Die Juwarlakia gr. Suppe (Suppe mit Rindhackbällchen mit Reise) war schon ein schöner Auftakt, aber begeistert war ich von den Juwezi mit grünen Bohnen und einer Lamm-Haxe. Diese war wunderbar mit der Gabel vom Knochen zu lösen und hat richtig Freude beim Essen gemacht. Der Beilagensalat u.a. aus Kraut war noch eine nette Begleitung, die dann aber etwas in den Hintergrund gerückt ist. Als Nachtisch zur Stärkung gab es dann noch Joghurt mit Honig und Nüssen und einen griechischeb Moccakaffee. Insgesamt vom Essen her wirklich toll und auch Service war sehr aufmerksam und selbst als etwas später kommende Person in der Runde hatte ich durch die Vorspeise schnell Anschluss und gutes Essen erhalten.

Sehr freundlicher und schneller Service, leckeres Essen und alles zu einem fairen Preis. Bei den überbackenen Gerichten muss man etwas aufpassen, die sind sehr fettig, aber das kann man bei mit käse überbackenen Gyros schon erwarten.

Großes Restaurant was viele Plätze hat. Spontan dort essen gehen ist sehr risikohaft. Besser man reserviert einen Tisch. Wir sind spontan an einem Samstagabend hingefahren, haben in der Warteschlange auf einen freien Tisch warten müssen. Das ging aber dann doch relativ schnell (ca halbe stunde). Als wir zum Tisch begleitet wurden bekamen wir recht schnell die Speisekarte, auch die Bestellung wurde schnell aufgenommen. Trotz der vielen Besucher, hat das Warten auf das Essen nicht lange gedauert. Es war sehr lecker, das Warten vorher hat sich also gelohnt. Was nicht ganz so gut war, deswegen einen * Abzug, wir haben ewig lang 'trocken gesessen', man hat nicht zwischendurch nach uns geschaut, wir haben unsere Gläser ganz offensichtlich so auf den Tisch gestellt, dass man es hätte sehen müssen/können. Ende vom Lied war, wir haben jeweils nur ein Getränk getrunken, gut für uns, schlecht für den Verkäufer 😁 Ich schiebe es aber auf den Betrieb der an dem Samstagabend herrschte. Alles in allem kann ich das Restaurant sehr empfehlen, alle sind nett, alles ist sauber und es ist lecker 😋

Wir kommen schon seit vielen Jahren hierher und sind bisher noch nie enttäuscht worden. Top Service, leckeres Essen, was schnell und zeitgleich kommt. Großer Parkplatz direkt vor Ort, schöne Sommerterasse und für die Kids gibt's auch Spielgeräte im Außenbereich. Einzig allein die Lüftungsanlage könnte besser sein.

Immer freundlich. Preis Leistung ist gut. Mit Kindern klasse wegen dem schönen Spielplatz.

Essen lecker, Ambiente wie in allen riesigen griechischen Restaurants. Personal freundlich, aber auch etwas überfordert. Ich mag es eher kleiner und gemütlicher. Alles in allem angenehmer Aufenthalt. Die Begleitung macht es letztlich aus.

Das Essen ist reichlich und sehr gut, leider mussten wir eine halbe Stunde mit allen benutzten Teller auch von der Vorspeise, am Tisch sitzen Getränke nachbestellen nur auf zurufen möglich wir hätten gerne nochmal was bestellt bei 12 Personen wäre es nicht wenig gewesen.

Schöne kleine Ecken, dass es sie überfüllt wirkt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und auf zack. Das Essen war sehr lecker, Portionen mehr als ausreichend und der Preis ist angemessen. Hier komm ich öfters hin.

Ich gehe seit 20 Jahren hier essen. Essen ist super und die Kellner sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Im Sommer gibt es einen tollen Biergarten und ich kann jedem Menschen empfehlen hier das Essen und den Service zu probieren. Macht weiter so. Vielen herzlichen Dank und ganz viele zufriedene Gäste

Heute war es leider nicht gut! Das Restaurant war nicht überfüllt, trotzdem mussten wir weit über eine Stunde auf das Essen warten. Auch die Getränke ließen auf sich warten. An allen Essen hat Gewürz gefehlt. Das Personal war deutlich überfordert. Wir werden erst einmal nicht mehr im Irodion essen.

After nearly one hour the first waiter ask for our order. Food was ok. Apparently the service has gone down a lot in the last few months. After all, an attempt was made to sweeten the damage with an ouzo.
