Honestly, that was underground. The service was completely overwhelmed and unfriendly, and the food looked like it had just been slapped on. And if you wanted something special, it was either ignored or forgotten.

Five of us ate here. The veal liver was more like beef and the beef (from the funny Bosniak) was unfortunately too salty. Unfortunately, the fried potatoes were undercooked, very greasy and lacked salt. The cellar was very nice.

Went there for lunch for the first time with 2 people and can only say very good lunch menu, great food. We had gypsy schnitzel and a medallion plate with starter soup and salad. Very tasty and very rich. Great!!!

A very old, quaint, pork-heavy restaurant. All vegans should give the restaurant a wide berth ☺️ What I found very strange were the old dusty alcohol bottles... There were even bottles from the years with the postal code with 4 numbers... I don't have to say anything more about that. I can't say anything bad about the food. It tasted good. But it wasn't a burner either. We changed our mind while ordering and it probably couldn't be followed. I don't know if it's the age or the language barrier... So the first thing we wanted to order arrived. It wasn't bad, but when our faces looked confused, the waitress's face immediately contorted. Far from realizing that you've made a mistake... So the customer is never king! I wouldn't go there again. Too bad!

I'm now approaching 40 and I've been eating at this restaurant since I was a child. I got a completely perfect meal again today on my wedding day. As always, the boss and the service staff were friendly, courteous and in a good mood. Every guest who says something negative here can no longer be helped. But some people just can't be pleased. All my family and friends were and still are more than satisfied with the Restaurant International...a real recommendation for everyone...TOP price performance for decades

Best restaurant in decades. The quality has been back to where it always was for years because the original owner took his restaurant back. The portion sizes are great and it tastes fantastic.

We were in the restaurant on August 20th. A group of 6 people. The classic first impression of a Balkan restaurant was quite good. We had reserved and were shown to a suitable table. The restaurant was quite empty, which is not unusual on a Tuesday evening. The first drink order was taken. Mainly Cola. It took a little longer, but each guest had their glass carried individually from the counter to the table. The cola had zero carbon dioxide and was only just that cold. The order was received in a friendly manner, unfortunately we always have a special case that requires us to reorder everything, but everything was noted down and even given advice. Everything is okay up to this point. Unfortunately, this one special order arrived incorrectly. The chef who brought us the food was very unfriendly when we pointed out that this was the wrong order. All he said was "what should I do now?" Only the service person responded when asked again and had the dish returned. The portions are very large but unfortunately only mediocrely prepared. It was almost too salty for me and the other guests weren't convinced either. We are used to being able to pay by card everywhere. Here in the restaurant this is only possible under special circumstances. Either someone pays everything by card or everyone pays separately in cash. Which in my opinion shows once again what is going wrong in the catering industry. Anyone who still comes with such excuses in 2024 does not deserve another visit from me. Even most bakers have card payments. So it was more of an average visit and not recommended.

Hatte racnizi die 303 ,waren leider nur zwei spieße aus Schnitzelfleisch,elnem jugoslawischen Gericht nicht würdig,hatte mir Knoblauch Sauce dazu bestellt die Sauce war ein Mix aus mggi und knrr,mein Kollege bestellte sich eine Pfeffersauce,laut Aussage sind alle die gleichen Saucen, Getränke kamen und essen bei25 Personen in Dreier Etappen an ,ok Personalmangel,dazu wollten wir ajvar bestellen,laut Aussage gibt's dort nicht, Prost Mahlzeit in jeder Pommes Bude bekomme ich besseres leckeres Essen

Once upon a time 🥺 Friday evening at 6 p.m. three tables with 4 people each 🤷 For us, out of 4 dishes, 2 were wrong, one wasn't like on the menu, then lukewarm 😢 Drinks once then nothing left, dessert off to the city to the ice cream parlor, we used to like to be here, it's a shame.

Excellent cuisine and generous portions will definitely fill you up And the meat was cooked very well, exactly to the point. Fans of rustic cuisine with 80s charm will definitely get their money's worth here. In the dwm picture you can see the international plate for 2 people.

Registered and reserved by phone today! Was personally received and served on time by the boss. The menu was immediately presented and drinks were ordered. Drinks at the table within minutes. Ordered and received the tasty salad after a short time. The food came in quick succession. Grill plate, generously filled, and the meat prepared to perfection. There was no skimping on French fries and rice either. The price/performance ratio is impeccable. Bring your appetite with you or have the rest packed up without any hassle. We will be back!

Hello everyone. The last time we were in the restaurant was at Easter. We were 6 adults and 2 children. The drink order didn't go as planned. Instead of a bottle of water, a large Fanta was served. After putting the glass down it was said that there had never been any mention of water. While eating, it was only afterward that the broccoli was out when the food was already on the table. So there were no vegetables. Lastly, a waiter was asked to mediate. In addition, there was unfriendliness and everything tasted the same when eating.

The food was really great and the prices were really great. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come by more often. However, we had to wait a long time for the bill, after about half an hour the waiter brought us the bill and then left again. Was there for the first time yesterday. You can't discuss the ambience. Yes, it's the same as it was over 30 years ago. But not uncomfortable. Anyone who goes there knows that. The service was really good, the waiter was always there quickly, so we didn't have to wait forever for anything. And friendly anyway. Drinks came quickly and we didn't have to wait unnecessarily long for the food. Absolutely top value for money. The food was very tasty, the prices were not too expensive, rather reasonable or cheap. If there were n euros more on the menu everywhere, it wouldn't be a drama. 2 dishes with a drink each and a cappucino each. Just over €40. I'm very satisfied - we'll go back.

The Croatian hit from the 70s in the background doesn't make it any better The service is very quick, friendly and attentive. There is nothing to complain about. But of course the landlord also has to earn something and you can see that in the quality of the food on offer. Once a known quantity. Unfortunately it's getting worse and worse. Several times (3x) we got different meat on our mixed plates because it was sold out. Turkey instead of roast beef, for example, or turkey instead of rump steak. The third and last time for us, instead of 2 Debreziner, we had 2 Cevapcici. Everything was fresh and very tasty. Big portion. Now I can fully recommend this restaurant again. The staff is also great.

Went to the International again today. I could just write everything is great and good. We had Christmas dinner there and again today. The meal took less than 20 minutes and everything was super fresh and super fried. The price-performance ratio is worth more than 5 stars these days... If you can't manage your lavishly filled plate, you can take it home with you and still have something for the next day. Definitely worth a visit... We'll be back soon ;-)

We celebrated my mother's 70th birthday at International today and it was great. We were provided with a separate room for 9 guests and we spent a lovely afternoon there. We were even allowed to bring our own cake. Prices are really great and you get more than expected. The service is really very good and the employees are friendly and accommodating. Large selection of food and drinks. Every wish will be fulfilled. Everyone was completely satisfied. I also love eating there with friends or my parents. There is simply nothing nearby where everything is really right. Price, ambience and service. We have already tried all of the dishes and we have always been completely satisfied. I love coming back to eat with you again and again

Auch 23 mehrfach im international gewesen immer freundlich bedient jetzt Anfang 24 das Schnitzel zum Mittagstisch ist ein ganzes Stück geschrumpft aber die Preise für Getränke u Essen nicht erhöht! Vor 23 Auf Empfehlung mit dem Rad dorthin , Montags nach der Mittagstischzeit ! Nicht viel Betrieb Empfang freundlich hatten einen älteren Kellner nett und gut aufgelegt! Lokal schönes Ambiente still der 70 ziger mit gemauerten Bögen u vielen séparée! Getränke kamen sofort haben uns für Schnitzel entschieden richtig groß u lecker saftig u die richtige Dicke ! Und nicht nur Panade was ich bei der Größe erwartet habe u einen guten Salat Teller vorab ! Selbst als guter Esser hat man zu kämpfen aber geschafft ! Wie die Getränke kam das Essen keine 15 min später sehr schnell was natürlich am Wochenende u vollen Haus nie zu schaffen ist , verständlich ! Restaurant hat ein sehr gutes Preis Leistung Verhältnis, haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt kommen natürlich wieder! Grüße aus Moers!

Essen war ganz gut soweit. Der Service war sehr schlecht. Wir wurden 3 mal völlig umsonst umgesetzt, es wurden falsche Getränke serviert und man war nicht wirklich freundlich uns als Gästen gegenüber. Ansonsten okay, aber nichts besonderes.

Das Essen war wie immer lecker und auch reichlich, dort geht niemand mit Hunger raus. Werden immer freundlich begrüßt, und jeden den ich dorthin mitgenommen habe geht zufrieden raus . Werde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Reinfall des Lebens, selten so einen unterirdischen Service erlebt. Wir hatten am 2. Weihnachtstag 2023 für 8 Personen um 16:30h reserviert, es herrschte bereits chaos am Eingang wo man warten musste bis man vom Personal abgeholt wurde. Uns wurde ein Tisch im hinteren Bereich des Restaurants zugewiesen hier hatte man im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes seine Ruhe.. um es abzukürzen: nachdem wir mehrfach vorne nachfragen mussten ob man uns vergessen hat, bekamen wir um 17:40h, (also nach mehr als 1 Stunde) endlich unsere Getränke und um 18:30h also nach 2 Stunden dann auch endlich das Essen. Getränke gab es auch nach wiederholtem Nachfragen keine mehr, weder während noch nach dem Essen - und jeder der schonmal einen deftigen Grillteller gegessen hat kennt wohl auch das Verlangen nach Flüssigkeit noch während des essens. Das Personal war überfordert, gestresst und unfreundlich. Egal wenn man ansprach, es waren alle genervt und es wurde mehrfach betont dass es heute besonders voll sei und es an Personal fehle weil niemand mehr diesen Job machen möchte. Als wir um 19:30h dann bezahlen wollten kam der chef persönlich und machte uns noch eine Ansage weil wir gefragt haben ob er uns Reste - Rinderfilet was nicht angerührt wurde einpacken könne „eigentlich geht das nicht aber er macht es ausnahmsweise“ und als wir dann noch getrennt (3 Familien) bezahlen wollten war ganz vorbei: wir bekamen einen Block und einen Stift und sollten selber ausrechnen wer was bezahlen soll, das könne man nicht leisten, man erwarte noch eine gesellschaft aus 20 Personen. Sehr sehr schade, um 19:40h waren wir raus, nach über 3 stunden hat jeder etwa 20-25€ dort gelassen, 1 Gericht und 1 Getränk und dabei muss ich kein Gastronom sein um zu wissen, dass man mit den Getränken das eigentliche Geschäft macht. Das Essen selber war tatsächlich ziemlich gut, aber das nützt auch nichts wenn man wahnsinnigen durst und nichts zu trinken dazu hat. Die personelle Situation in der Gastronomie ist bekannt aber auch nicht neu. Mit 40 Jahren Erfahrung erwarte ich mehr professionalität, im Zweifel muss ich eben Gäste abweisen wenn ich es nicht gehändelt bekomme. Ich kenne das Lokal bereits seit meiner Kindheit, war hier früher mit meinen Eltern immer gerne und oft essen. Es gab immer mal negativschlagzeilen und gerüchte, zuletzt hab ich viel gutes gehört und mich riesig auf meinen ersten Besuch nach Jahren gefreut und bin leider wahnsinnig enttäuscht worden.

Endlich wieder gutes Essen to go! Nachdem wir die letzten Male wirklich sehr enttäuscht über das Essen waren, konnten wir jetzt endlich mal wieder leckeres Essen genießen. Alles war schmackhaft und dekorativ angerichtet und die Portionen sind ohnehin immer sehr groß un diesem Lokal. Wir hoffen, dass diese Qualität nun dauerhaft bleibt, denn leider hatte sich das Restaursnt International mal sehr sehr verschlechtert. Jetzt aber sind wir positiv überrascht gewesen!

Das Essen hier schmeckt sehr gut. Alles wird frisch zubereitet. Es gibt viel Auswahl und die Preise sind angemessen. Der Service ist sehr hektisch was aber nicht ausbleibt wenn es voll ist, trotz allem macht der Ton die Musik und der war (nicht von jedem Kellner) nicht immer angemessen. Trotzdem kommen wir gerne wieder denn es schmeckt sehr gut und über den rest kann man hinweg sehen 😉

Das Essen war unglaublich gut, die Portionen waren angemessen groß für den Preis und auch wenn die Auswahl nicht riesig war, alles was wir hatten war sehr gut zubereitet. Das Personal war freundlich und die Atmosphäre war sehr angenehm. Es ist nur empfehlenswert hier essen zu gehen.

Wir kamen herein und wurde vom Chef persönlich begrüßt mit den Worten " ich weiss nicht ob wir noch was in der Küche haben." Nach den der Kellner die Bestellung aufnahm kam als Antwort der bestellte Apperetiv ist ausgegangen. Gleiche Antwort bei der bestellten Suppe. Das Lokal war nur halb so voll wie sonst.

Sehr reichhaltiges, abwechslungsreiches Essen. Der Service war sehr nett und schnell. Hier passt Preis Leistung noch. Absolut empfehlenswert 👍

Das Essen schmeckt gut die Portionen sind reichlich und noch Bezahlbar das Restaurant ist groß, der Service lässt bei voller Bude aber zu wünschen übrig. Aber Ich kann es empfehlen.

Im Essen war eine Glasscherbe. Man hat sich entschuldigt, ein neues Essen gebracht, einen Schnaps als Entschädigung und am Ende 6,50 Euro als zusätzliche Entschädigung abgezogen. Statt 16,50 nur 10 Euro. Glas darf ni ht passieren und bei diesem Gesundheitsrisiko waren die Entschädigung lachhaft. Schade ein Restaurant von der Liste gestrichen

Leider war eine Glasscherbe in meinem Essen. Natürlich habe ich ein neues Essen bekommen, musste dies aber mit Rabatt bezahlen. Neben zahlreichen Entschuldigungen gab es noch ein Schnaps

Ein Stern ist noch zu viel. Wir hatten drei unterschiedliche Gerichte. Schweinelendchen in Champig RAHM!!!! Sosse. Jägerschnitzel, und Kalbsleber. Alle Gerichte waren lauwarm 😫 Jäger und Champion RAHM!!!! Sosse waren genau die gleichen Sossen 😠 (also nix mit RAHM) Die Leber und die Zwiebeln gar!!!!!nicht gewürzt ☹das gleiche war mit dem Salat, absolut ohne Würze. Das Dressing war ein Fertigprodukt. Jägersosse und RAHMSOSSE 🤣🤣waren auch ein Fertigprodukt. Als wir Maionaise zu unseren Pommes wünschten bekamen wir eine Tube Maio von Lidl serviert 😫(wurde aber später nicht berechnet 👍😅) Wir wären gerne noch geblieben um uns zu unterhalten. Aber es war tierisch kalt in den Räumlichkeiten , das wir direkt nach dem Essen das Lokal wieder verlassen haben.

Das Essen war okay, aber auch nicht mehr. Der Salat wurde bei beiden Gerichten nicht gebracht auch nachdem man darauf aufmerksam gemacht wurde. Bulgarisches Steak und Spezial Teller. Des weiteren war es im Restaurant unangenehm kalt!! Am liebsten hätte ich mit Jacke dort gesessen. Ambiente im Stil der 80iger .

Essen reichlich und sehr lecker. Bedienung etwas überfordert. Es war recht gut besucht. Bedienung war bemüht, etwas überfordert. Dabei sehr freundlich.

Ich glaube ich war das erste mal dort vor 30 Jahren oder bei meinem letzten Besuch war ich leider enttäuscht Portionen zwar immer noch gewaltig aber leider eine richtige Fettlache auf dem Teller ich frage mich wie das geht wenn Grillstreifen zu sehen sind.

Gehe schon seit den 80' gern da essen. Immer noch der selbe Besitzer. Fleischgerichte immer reichhaltig und gut. Nur der Salat,naja, zwar frisch aber nur so ein Flaschen Dressing. Essen kommt schnell. Auf jeden Fall gut und günstig. Ambiente leider alt.

Es war alles lecker, nur haben wir den absacker Schnaps vermisst, den wir vor Jahren immer beim bezahlen bekommen haben. Danke an den netten Kellner der immer ein Spaß machte als er uns das Essen brachte. Bis zum nächsten mal

Waren heute dort essen. Einmal Pffersteak und einmal den Diplomatenteller. Beide Gerichte waren sehr lecker 😋. Der Service war super, wir wurden gut bedient.

Das Essen war absolut okay. Sehr große Portionen, die wir allen nicht geschafft haben. Mein Mann hat auch ein bisschen übrig gelassen und er kann echt viel essen. Es hat uns geschmeckt und die Preise sind angemessen.

Wir kommen seit Jahren immer wieder gern ins International, bei rustikalem Ambiente ohne viel schnick schnack. Wir werden immer höflich bedient, das Essen ist immer sehr lecker und reichhaltig. Preis-Leistung top. Bis zum nächsten Mal.
