Amazing techno experience at Home Duisburg I had the pleasure of attending one of the techno events at Home Duisburg and I can only say that it was an unforgettable experience. As soon as I entered the venue I felt the energetic atmosphere, which provided the perfect setting for a great night. The sound system was impressive and ensured that every beat came through perfectly. The DJs put on a fantastic performance and kept the crowd moving throughout the night. The music was a perfect mix of well-known tracks and fresh sounds that always got the dance floor going. The audience was incredibly friendly and open, creating a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. Organizers had clearly thought of every detail to ensure guests had a first-class experience, from the light show to the fast and friendly bar service. Overall, the techno event at Home Duisburg was a successful night full of good music, great people and a first-class party atmosphere. Krankikom in Duisburg really impressed me!!!! The atmosphere is super relaxed and inspiring at the same time, you immediately feel at home. The extremely friendly staff were particularly special. No matter what you needed, the team was always there straight away and incredibly helpful. Overall, a top address that I can only recommend!

We attended one of the evening events at Home Duisburg on Saturday evening and our impressions were entirely positive. The artists were also guests at the party, which created an open and friendly impression. The atmosphere was great, guests at the party were almost without exception considerate and nice, the music and the DJs were great. At times you had the feeling that the music was too loud or too quiet, which was undoubtedly influenced by the fact that the doors were partially opened and then closed again. All in all, it didn't limit the party or the fun. I can't agree with previous reviews about the noise outside. We left the party around 2:30 a.m. and stayed overnight with friends on Unterstrasse, not far from the party. We couldn't hear anything from music that was too loud; occasionally, with the window open, a dull knock could be heard. Nothing outside of the normal volume of an event location on the weekend. The only drawback: Unfortunately there were no snacks. Selling peanuts or something similar at the bar would be another improvement. However, the drinks are very affordable.

The techno event at the harbor offered an impressive atmosphere with energetic music and a fantastic light show. The DJs delivered first-class sets and the organization was top notch. An unforgettable experience for all techno fans.

It was my first time at the binary (techno) event. There couldn't be a better location for this event. It was great. It was the first but not the last time that I was there. Finally a great event in Duisburg. LG

Extremely loud music until late at night. Residents and hotel guests are constantly deprived of sleep. Such an inconsiderate shop! Drunk people scream too! The public order office should take a look here.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Food was delicious. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very nice, the terrace could do with a little more green plants/large bushes or trees... in the summer the concrete heats up a lot. Proximity to the water is also great.

The two young blonde waitresses take forever to come to the table to take orders, even though the place is barely full. One of the two prefers to be on her smartphone instead of checking on new guests. Then when she's finally at the table, she has a rude and annoyed tone. She then tells you that this and that doesn't work. No more carbonated drinks, no chilled beer, etc. No wonder you are on the verge of bankruptcy. Please close so that someone else can use this beautiful location...

Heerlijk eten, super aardige bediening en een geweldige sfeer direct bij het Steiger Schwanentor. Het hoogtepunt is het dakterras met uitzicht op de binnenhaven en de oude, gerestaureerde pakhuizen. Een droom!

Service, atmosphere and food absolutely brilliant! Fair prices, beautiful surroundings and great menu! Home events are also lovingly supported and hosted.

The service staff is inattentive but friendly and helpful. The request for fried potatoes instead of fries was rejected due to a lack of stocks. And the boss doesn't want other side dishes to be requested than the standards.. (what more can you say about that....) Oh, and when I asked for the bill they even wanted to clear away my half-full drinks... something like that doesn't work at all... Waiting time too long... Food ok... but not according to the price... Shame made a good impression. Once and never again ....

Best cheeseburger in the northern hemisphere, child-friendly, accommodating, familiar and a really great menu. With the roof terrace above, a sensational event location. We'd love to come back.

Nice location. Certainly very good for having a drink and having a nice chat. The food was mediocre and not worth the price. Unfortunately, both glasses I had were very dirty. The service team was very nice and tried hard, but unfortunately not very attentive overall.

We were there with 6 people and were completely satisfied, the staff is extremely friendly and very accommodating, the atmosphere is pleasant, the drinks felt like they arrived within seconds & the food was perfectly timed. We actually just came to treat ourselves to a beer and a wine. We still had the chicken strips with coconut as a snack. What can I say...usually the taste doesn't surprise me and you can usually only guess the coconut taste. Not so at Home Duisburg! That was really really good! I've never eaten anything like that before. Really perfect. Service was super friendly, quick and attentive. Oh yes, at the start there was fresh bread with aioli and water on the house. This is very rare to find these days and should be highlighted. Overall, we were more than satisfied and would definitely come back next time we visit the city. Absolute recommendation. It's worth stopping by :).

A meal at the table was forgotten and only arrived when everyone else had finished. It happens, but then you could have had a cup of coffee on the house :/ However, it tasted good

Clear 5 stars from us. Service is very friendly and asks if everything is ok. Bread with dip beforehand very pleasant and tasty 😋. The starter, main course and dessert were completely convincing. The floor could be vacuumed, it was very crumbly and not great. All in all, a very nice place to eat and drink. We will be back

There were eight of us there and no one was thrilled with the dishes! There really is a lot of room for improvement. Not even the sweet potato fries were ok! All salad dishes hardly had any dressing. Very carelessly cooked! It's a shame because the restaurant is really nice.

I am very positively surprised. Went to the Jupp evening on Christmas Day. It was full and we thought maybe the food would take longer. But quite the opposite. The ladies were really fast, friendly and really service-oriented. Plus it was a bombshell atmosphere. All in all very good! A year later and still very good.

Greatly advertised the winter festival and then you get there everything is closed, a small cardboard sign on the door refers to a "closed society" when asked if you can at least get something to drink, after all the shop was still empty and there were 4 waitresses from that generation Z were bored at the table (I know that this generation didn't invent working) we were asked to just leave. If you don't have the best location, you should at least score points with service and friendliness.

We were there for the buffet in Advent and had previously reserved online. The buffet was smaller than in the advertising video, but there was still something for everyone: vegetarian, vegan, meat... But now nothing that blew us away. The ambience was ok. Concrete wall and open but it was very crowded and therefore loud. Unfortunately, you couldn't really have a conversation or eat in peace. We had to wait a long time for the drinks and they were really quite expensive. A waitress always made a note of the wrong drinks for us, so unfortunately we had to return a lot of things or have them brought back corrected. Luckily that wasn't a problem, but it was a shame in terms of food waste. The waitresses seemed a bit overwhelmed and didn't work together, which was probably the reason for the late drinks. Dirty dishes were only cleared from the table very late. Conclusion: quite nice but there is room for improvement.

Wij waren hier voor het diner. Vriendelijk personeel, eten was slecht. Weinig keus en het eten was erg vet. Het frituurvet lag op mijn bord. Aangegeven bij t personeel en zij zouden t doorgeven aan de keuken, helaas verder geen terugkoppeling gehad.

Unfortunately it wasn't pretty. There were two of us who ate there and when we ordered we each received a glass and a carafe of tap water. We ordered a starter and two main courses, two schnitzels but instead of the normal fries we wanted sweet potato fries, as did my companion. We were given bread to tide us over. Then the food came, at the same time the starter and the two main courses. One main course had sweet potato fries as ordered, one dish had regular fries. When asked, it was said that it was not possible in the kitchen... (?) When we asked whether we would get another carafe of tap water, we were told that it was actually only served with the meal and that we had already had some. My companion's schnitzel was black with pepper under the breading and therefore inedible. We report this, but at the same time said that we don't need a new one. This would then also be removed from the bill. We had to wait over 10 minutes to pay (we were there on a Wednesday evening, it really wasn't crowded) When paying, we asked the other waitress again about the fries, the starter being served at the same time as the main course, the water and there were even more points. They apologized to us, but unfortunately we won't be coming back.

It was great with you. Something for everyone. I will gladly come again.

In the restaurant at this moment and just had diner. The restaurant is spacious and clean. The staff is nice and friendly. The diner was quite OK, a cheeseburger with cruncy sweet potatoe fries. Salad on the side, water for free and a free basket of bread. Big respect for the staff, they unfortunately had to deal with two unfriendly ladies who were up to have diner as cheap as possible...

Leider können wir dieses Restaurant nicht weiterempfehlen. Die bestellte Vorspeise kam zusammen mit der Hauptspeise. Das Cordon Bleau war so gepfeffert (ungenießbar) ,dass wir es zurückgeben haben. Die bestellten Süßkartoffel-Pommes wurden nur zu einem Gericht geliefert. Bei dem 2. Gericht konnten diese angeblich nicht beigestellt werden, was sich im Nachhinein als Falschaussage herausstellte. Leider war das Services Personal sehr inkompetent.

Essen war leider nicht so gut und man hat lange darauf warten müssen, obwohl es fast leer war. Atmosphäre aber nett.

Ich gehe da nie wiederhin Personal sehr unfreundlich,im essen waren Haare drin hab das den Personal gesagt die meinten "Interessiert uns nicht" das Essen war sehr teuer ein Bürger 10€

De bref passage par Duisburg, nous avons testé ce restaurant à côté de notre hôtel. Cuisine simple, efficace et très bien préparée, à un coût modéré. Service prévenant et très agréable. Le cadre moderne, en bord de zone portuaire, est très sympa. A recommander !

Total chilliger Laden, netter Service und knackiger Salat! Absolut zu empfehlen!

Ein ganz besonderer Ort an der Anlegestelle für Hafenrundfahrten. Auch ein Stück der alten Stadtmauer kann man besichtigen. Das Landesarchiv ist ebenso in Sichtweite. Toller Service, ich hatte das Gericht Brokkoli-Süßkartoffelpuffer. Sehr lecker, auch der Salat war richtig gut. Tolles Ambiente, ein Ort wo man sich länger aufhalten kann.

Gute Burger, freundlicher Service, Ausblick auf Landesarchiv, Schwanentorbrücke und Salvatorkirche. Wat willse mehr?

Wir waren gestern dort zu Mittag essen da wir eine Boots Tour gebucht haben. Zwei Kinder 8 und 5 sowie Mama und Großmama. Wir waren alle begeistert. Das Essen kam schnell. Spaghetti Nudeln für den Kleinen wie gewünscht ohne alles, Pommes auch ohne alles ( keine Butter, keine Kräuter). Die Cesar Salate für die Erwachsenen waren auch sehr lecker. Bedienung freundlich, schnell und hat uns sogar Malsachen mit Anspitzer für die Kids gebracht. So konnten wir entspannt bis zum Essen warten, da die Kids gemalt haben. Auf Anfrage kam auch sofort ein Strohhalm für die Apfelschorle. Besser geht es nicht. Danke an Euch. Tolles Team tolles Restaurant. Super!

Nettes Lokal, super gutschmeckende Burger. Freundliche Bedienung

Wir haben das Home zum Grillen und Chillen besucht, zum ersten Mal. Nettes Ambiente, leider von meinem Platz aus mit direktem Blick auf die Küchendurchreiche und dort abgestelltes genutztes Geschirr. Das fand ich ziemlich unangenehm. Zumal sich da auch einige Zeit so gar nichts tat.... Essen war solide, für meinen Geschmack etwas geschmacksneutral ( z.B.Garnelenspiesse und auch der Fetasalat). Service aufmerksam und flott unterwegs! Die Lage ist sicherlich gut und wird ohne die Baustelle drumherum weiter gewinnen. Wenn dann die MA nicht direkt vor den Bierbänken parken und das Ganze drumherum etwas begrünt wird kann es richtig schön sein!

Helle moderne Räumlichkeit, freundliche Bedienung und ein sehr guter Espresso gefielen mir vor einer Hafenrundfahrt.

Bonjour, à se jour je suis passer se midi, je suis français et j étais de passage comme routier. Vraiment un très bon accueil souriant discret et au niveau culinaire extrêmement bon avec beaucoup de goût et cuisson plus que parfaite, la présentation idem.... De plus, une grande ballade dans la ville avec une très grande histoire à découvrir avec beaucoup de charme. Vraiment.....respect. Je reviendrais assurément. Hallo, bis heute fahre ich diesen Mittag durch, ich bin Franzose und war als Fahrer auf der Durchreise. Wirklich ein sehr guter diskreter lächelnder Empfang und ein extrem gutes kulinarisches Niveau mit viel Geschmack und Kochen mehr als perfekt, die Präsentation dito .... Außerdem ein toller Spaziergang in der Stadt mit einer sehr großen Geschichte, die es mit viel Charme zu entdecken gilt. Wirklich ... Respekt. Ich würde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Ich bin durch Zufall auf das "Home" gestoßen, angenehm nah zum Hotel nebenan. Da ich früh dran war, war "ohne Reservierung" kein Problem, kommt man später, sollte man reservieren. Das Essen - Tomatensuppe, gefolgt vom griechischen Salat - war sehr lecker, das Aioli war super, Gruß aus der Küche. Service war sehr aufmerksam, da es recht leer war, kann ich zur Lautstärke nichts sagen...

Das Ambiente ist einfach, die kahlen Betonwände und offene Decke mit den Versorgungsleitungen ist schlicht, industriell und versprüht einen kühlen Charme. Es ist überraschenderweise nicht laut, wenndas Restaurant zu einem Drittel besetzt ist. Die Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken ist gut und abwechslungsreich. Die Speisen sind schmackhaft zubereitet. Das Personal ist freundlich, aufgeschlossen und unterhaltsam. Es gibt nur kostenpflichtige Parkplätze in der Nähe. November 2022

Ich bin eher zufällig dort eingekehrt und wurde sehr positiv überrascht! Ein herzlicher Empfang und eine wirklich aufmerksame, freundliche Bedienung. Leckeres Essen mit vielen Variationen. Hochwertiges, wohlschmeckendes Burgerfleisch. Das ganze wird durch eine reichhaltige und interessante Getränkeauswahl abgerundet. Ich kann das Lokal nur empfehlen.

Nettes Ambiente, aber leider sehr sehr laut, so dass keine Gemütlichkeit aufkam und man sich nur schlecht unterhalten konnte. Das Restaurant war recht voll, und die Küche und Bedienungen scheinbar überfordert. Wir mussten über eine Stunde auf unser Essen warten und dann wurde unsere Bestellungen auch noch falsch aufgenommen. Meine Freundin musste ihren Burger zurückgehen lassen und dann nochmal 20min warten, alle anderen waren da mit dem Essen schon fertig als ihr Burger dann endlich kam. Auch das Essen an sich war nicht so besonders und die Pommes kalt. Auch hätten wir uns ein wenig mehr Aufmerksamkeit vom Personal gewünscht, es wurde nicht mal gefragt ob wir noch etwas trinken möchten. Sehr schade, es wird unser einziger Besuch gewesen sein.

Es war ein toller Besuch. Es gab zum Essen Leitungswasser und vorab ein Brot mit Dip. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und auch die Burger (einer mit Fleisch, einer in Vegan) haben sehr gut geschmeckt. Weiter zu empfehlen! :-)
