We were there on Rose Monday with our carnival club. The atmosphere is great, the service is friendly, the food and beer prices are great. Very child-friendly, definitely recommended.

Never again! We were there on Valentine's Day. We waited a total of two hours for the 3-course menu. My partner's main course was supposed to be vegetarian but was served with meat. My food was placed on the table and before I could begin, the waitress announced that it was someone else's - then she took my food away right in front of me. At the end, after a long wait, dessert was served, although initially without cutlery, which was only served five minutes later. I will never go there again. What a shame!

We went to Home for the first time on a Saturday evening. Reservation in advance via the homepage worked without any problems. You can park directly opposite in the city car park. The home is a large industrial-style room and was decorated a little for Christmas at Christmas time. For example, there were colorful Christmas tree balls on every table. The menu is quite manageable, but the food tasted good and was served quickly. Toilets are clean. The staff is friendly, but not very attentive. The restaurant wasn't that busy, but we still had to wait a long time to be able to place a new drink order, so we deducted a star.

The Home Duisburg restaurant is housed in a large, high-ceilinged room. If several tables are occupied it is quite loud and conversation is difficult. Since there is no vestibule in the entrance area, it is quite drafty when the outside temperature is low. One of the furnishings is simply modern and oriented towards industrial design. The menu is very clear, but offers enough choice and is supplemented by daily specials. The food is of average, good quality. The service was very negative on our last visit (group of ten people). For the first 45 minutes we were almost completely ignored and not even asked about our drink preferences. After we complained the service got better. However, good service is different.

We would have liked to have had a positive impression, but were unfortunately turned away at the counter in such an arrogant manner because there was no reservation. There was only one table occupied and nothing else going on. Apparently the owner has no interest or need for the shed to make money. Just bad!!!

Came here by chance as tourists. We were warmly welcomed and served. The boss behind the bar as well as Alessa and her colleagues do a great job. Really nice atmosphere!! We would be happy to recommend it! Thank you!!

The food was okay, the portion of salmon in "lemon pasta with salmon" was very small for the price we paid. We booked a table at the window for a birthday, which we didn't get because it was "accommodated". We each got a glass of prosecco "as an apology", but had to wait until we finished it so we could finally see the menu or order other drinks. Then we probably waited 10 minutes for our drinks and about 30 or 40 minutes for our food. And no, there wasn't much going on. And what's more, we ordered some things for you that we didn't have. Which wouldn't be a problem if their menu wasn't so small. All in all, we wouldn't eat there again.

Because of the good reviews, we went there for dinner last night. Unfortunately, however, we were seriously disappointed. We had a free choice of seats as there was hardly anything going on. The service person came relatively quickly and brought us the cards. We ordered a portion of noodles and a currywurst with fries, along with a Blaues Wunder iced tea and a Schweppes ginger beer. After 10 minutes there was still no drink, but we were given bread with dip and told that the iced tea was unfortunately out. So my wife decided on a homemade iced coffee. Minutes later the ginger beer arrived, I would estimate the wait for the first drink to be at least 15 minutes. Considering that there were hardly any guests there, it took far too long. In the meantime the food arrived, the waiting time was reasonable, the food was beautifully prepared but unfortunately cold. An absolute no-go for this restaurant's price category. When the iced coffee finally came, we put the food back and turned down the suggestion of cooking something new. At least we were offered a coffee as compensation, a nice gesture but rather inappropriate considering that my wife was still drinking her iced coffee. Unfortunately, after we paid, we only realized later that when we paid we also got the ginger beer (€3) and the iced coffee (€4.80). We were charged more than we ate. Unfortunately we had to pay €9.30 instead of €7.80. All in all, apart from the friendly service, it was a complete disaster and definitely our first and last visit here.

The temporary staff are super friendly, but a little more knowledge about your own drinks and menu would be helpful 😜 During the last visit, a corner of the restaurant was used as an “office”. Food is great, large portion. Price performance top. If you're there with a lot of people, you should want to eat comfortably with a few quite a lot of noise.

As an overall package, it is simply an enrichment for Duisburg and one of the top addresses. From a gastronomic perspective, a convincing overall package. The portions are right, good prices, pleasant atmosphere, good quality, manageable menu…….. and the wine selection is particularly worth mentioning. That's what Duisburg needs! Any time !

It was written on the website that it was open until midnight, but at 10:20 p.m. a condition came and told us that it was now the last round. There were also no drinks that were on the menu. Staff was okay but the fob at the end wasn't even worth a star.

The operating staff is young and probably still needs some practice, but everyone is trying really hard! The drinks were mixed between shaking heads, laughing and reading recipes, but contrary to expectations they came out very well. Did they notice that we were watching? Afterwards we wanted a few small appetizers, all of which were perfectly combined. Three of them were enough to fill us two up. And all for less than €30 per person. A clear thumbs up! Just a little practice and the guest experience will be five point zero stars.

Good food for a reasonable price. Nice and courteous service. Pasta was okay, but I think this isn't Italian either, so it's perfectly fine. Currywurst sauce very tasty, the sausage okay. A little bit missing for the 5th star, but anyone who reads my reviews knows that I rate them rather strictly and 4 stars are really good.

Visited while working in Duisburg, don’t normally do reviews but just wanted to say I had a great experience. Staff friendly and nothing too much trouble. Made me feel welcome. Would definitely recommend and their burgers to die for.

A beautiful location with first-class service! We celebrated our company party here and the evening was a complete success - everything went exactly according to plan. I was eating at this restaurant during my stay for the ironman event in Duisburg. The food was nice, they have healthy options and more delicious unhealthy options (for after the race). For after the race, I recommend the lava cake, and there burgers :-). The staff was very nice, the ambiance was also very nice.

You can go, but you don't have to. The waiting time until the food we ordered came was quite long. But a reason for this is not apparent. Quality is in the middle range. Fries in the deep fryer for too long or over-fried again. Sauce from the bag and poultry schnitzel in limit.

We were invited today and I was so positively surprised 😮 Didn't know the home until then. I ate the salad and was amazed that I was so amazed that there was such a delicious dressing 😂 I ate everything down to the last bite. The burgers were amazing. The fries too. The fact that the mayonnaise was served in small glasses instead of the usual sachets is also a very good idea. The latte macchiato was also a dream. I had to laugh on the toilet. I'm used to looking in the mirror while washing my hands and thought, huh, why don't I see anything? There was no wall 😂 But there was a wall further next to it. There was a picture hanging there with the saying similar to “I am a mirror. You are beautiful!” This is sooooo cute 🥰 Can recommend the home without reservation. I'm looking forward to the company party at home tomorrow.

It was my first time at the binary (techno) event. There couldn't be a better location for this event. It was great. It was the first but not the last time that I was there. Finally a great event in Duisburg. LG

The techno event at the harbor offered an impressive atmosphere with energetic music and a fantastic light show. The DJs delivered first-class sets and the organization was top notch. An unforgettable experience for all techno fans.

We attended one of the evening events at Home Duisburg on Saturday evening and our impressions were entirely positive. The artists were also guests at the party, which created an open and friendly impression. The atmosphere was great, guests at the party were almost without exception considerate and nice, the music and the DJs were great. At times you had the feeling that the music was too loud or too quiet, which was undoubtedly influenced by the fact that the doors were partially opened and then closed again. All in all, it didn't limit the party or the fun. I can't agree with previous reviews about the noise outside. We left the party around 2:30 a.m. and stayed overnight with friends on Unterstrasse, not far from the party. We couldn't hear anything from music that was too loud; occasionally, with the window open, a dull knock could be heard. Nothing outside of the normal volume of an event location on the weekend. The only drawback: Unfortunately there were no snacks. Selling peanuts or something similar at the bar would be another improvement. However, the drinks are very affordable.

Krankikom in Duisburg really impressed me!!!! The atmosphere is super relaxed and inspiring at the same time, you immediately feel at home. The extremely friendly staff were particularly special. No matter what you needed, the team was always there straight away and incredibly helpful. Overall, a top address that I can only recommend!

Amazing techno experience at Home Duisburg I had the pleasure of attending one of the techno events at Home Duisburg and I can only say that it was an unforgettable experience. As soon as I entered the venue I felt the energetic atmosphere, which provided the perfect setting for a great night. The sound system was impressive and ensured that every beat came through perfectly. The DJs put on a fantastic performance and kept the crowd moving throughout the night. The music was a perfect mix of well-known tracks and fresh sounds that always got the dance floor going. The audience was incredibly friendly and open, creating a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. Organizers had clearly thought of every detail to ensure guests had a first-class experience, from the light show to the fast and friendly bar service. Overall, the techno event at Home Duisburg was a successful night full of good music, great people and a first-class party atmosphere. I'm already looking forward to the next event and can only recommend anyone who loves techno to stop by here! #BinaryCollective

Extremely loud music until late at night. Residents and hotel guests are constantly deprived of sleep. Such an inconsiderate shop! Drunk people scream too! The public order office should take a look here.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Food was delicious. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very nice, the terrace could do with a little more green plants/large bushes or trees... in the summer the concrete heats up a lot. Proximity to the water is also great.

The two young blonde waitresses take forever to come to the table to take orders, even though the place is barely full. One of the two prefers to be on her smartphone instead of checking on new guests. Then when she's finally at the table, she has a rude and annoyed tone. She then tells you that this and that doesn't work. No more carbonated drinks, no chilled beer, etc. No wonder you are on the verge of bankruptcy. Please close so that someone else can use this beautiful location...

The service staff is inattentive but friendly and helpful. The request for fried potatoes instead of fries was rejected due to a lack of stocks. And the boss doesn't want other side dishes to be requested than the standards.. (what more can you say about that....) Oh, and when I asked for the bill they even wanted to clear away my half-full drinks... something like that doesn't work at all... Waiting time too long... Food ok... but not according to the price... Shame made a good impression. Once and never again ....

Best cheeseburger in the northern hemisphere, child-friendly, accommodating, familiar and a really great menu. With the roof terrace above, a sensational event location. We'd love to come back.

Nice location. Certainly very good for having a drink and having a nice chat. The food was mediocre and not worth the price. Unfortunately, both glasses I had were very dirty. The service team was very nice and tried hard, but unfortunately not very attentive overall.

We actually just came to treat ourselves to a beer and a wine. We still had the chicken strips with coconut as a snack. What can I say...usually the taste doesn't surprise me and you can usually only guess the coconut taste. Not so at Home Duisburg! That was really really good! I've never eaten anything like that before. Really perfect. Service was super friendly, quick and attentive. Oh yes, at the start there was fresh bread with aioli and water on the house. This is very rare to find these days and should be highlighted. Overall, we were more than satisfied and would definitely come back next time we visit the city. Absolute recommendation. It's worth stopping by :).

Clear 5 stars from us. Service is very friendly and asks if everything is ok. Bread with dip beforehand very pleasant and tasty 😋. The starter, main course and dessert were completely convincing. The floor could be vacuumed, it was very crumbly and not great. All in all, a very nice place to eat and drink. We will be back

There were eight of us there and no one was thrilled with the dishes! There really is a lot of room for improvement. Not even the sweet potato fries were ok! All salad dishes hardly had any dressing. Very carelessly cooked! It's a shame because the restaurant is really nice.

I am very positively surprised. Went to the Jupp evening on Christmas Day. It was full and we thought maybe the food would take longer. But quite the opposite. The ladies were really fast, friendly and really service-oriented. Plus it was a bombshell atmosphere. All in all very good! A year later and still very good.

Greatly advertised the winter festival and then you get there everything is closed, a small cardboard sign on the door refers to a "closed society" when asked if you can at least get something to drink, after all the shop was still empty and there were 4 waitresses from that generation Z were bored at the table (I know that this generation didn't invent working) we were asked to just leave. If you don't have the best location, you should at least score points with service and friendliness.

We were there for the buffet in Advent and had previously reserved online. The buffet was smaller than in the advertising video, but there was still something for everyone: vegetarian, vegan, meat... But now nothing that blew us away. The ambience was ok. Concrete wall and open but it was very crowded and therefore loud. Unfortunately, you couldn't really have a conversation or eat in peace. We had to wait a long time for the drinks and they were really quite expensive. A waitress always made a note of the wrong drinks for us, so unfortunately we had to return a lot of things or have them brought back corrected. Luckily that wasn't a problem, but it was a shame in terms of food waste. The waitresses seemed a bit overwhelmed and didn't work together, which was probably the reason for the late drinks. Dirty dishes were only cleared from the table very late. Conclusion: quite nice but there is room for improvement.

Wij waren hier voor het diner. Vriendelijk personeel, eten was slecht. Weinig keus en het eten was erg vet. Het frituurvet lag op mijn bord. Aangegeven bij t personeel en zij zouden t doorgeven aan de keuken, helaas verder geen terugkoppeling gehad.

Unfortunately it wasn't pretty. There were two of us who ate there and when we ordered we each received a glass and a carafe of tap water. We ordered a starter and two main courses, two schnitzels but instead of the normal fries we wanted sweet potato fries, as did my companion. We were given bread to tide us over. Then the food came, at the same time the starter and the two main courses. One main course had sweet potato fries as ordered, one dish had regular fries. When asked, it was said that it was not possible in the kitchen... (?) When we asked whether we would get another carafe of tap water, we were told that it was actually only served with the meal and that we had already had some. My companion's schnitzel was black with pepper under the breading and therefore inedible. We report this, but at the same time said that we don't need a new one. This would then also be removed from the bill. We had to wait over 10 minutes to pay (we were there on a Wednesday evening, it really wasn't crowded) When paying, we asked the other waitress again about the fries, the starter being served at the same time as the main course, the water and there were even more points. They apologized to us, but unfortunately we won't be coming back.

It was great with you. Something for everyone. I will gladly come again.
