Despite the initially mediocre rating of 3.9, we visited the restaurant. We were welcomed into a wonderfully warm atmosphere. The service from the two young women was professional and impeccable. Our visit was crowned by delicious food, flavorful aperitifs, and perfectly paired wines. On the staff's recommendation, we skipped the obligatory espresso and instead enjoyed the dessert sampler. The price-performance ratio is absolutely excellent and reasonable; thank you!

Beautiful hotel, very centrally located. The harbor is within sight. It's popular with cruise ship passengers, as one of the piers is directly across the street.

We were looking forward to the roast goose for St. Martin's Day. But given the negative experience, it would have made a hasty retreat. The friendly service, or rather the friendliness of the staff, was the only highlight for us. The ambiance: a stark hospital cafeteria without any winter decorations whatsoever. Not even candlelight or a sprig of fir on the table. At the next table, someone was playing cards very loudly, and behind us, many people were crowding around a self-service buffet. Like on a cruise ship. We hadn't even been seated for 20 minutes when the goose was served. To our surprise, as we had actually wanted to order an appetizer. Oh well, never mind. The goose tasted okay, but it needed at least another 30 minutes – the meat didn't easily come off the bone and was also somewhat tough in places. Crispy skin? Forget it. The dumplings, red cabbage, chestnuts, and gravy tasted good, but they cooled down incredibly quickly, as there were no warming containers in the hotel cafeteria. A bottle of Fachinger water costs €9.50, and a large beer is €7. Completely unreasonable. There were only two desserts on the menu, neither of which appealed to us. Pineapple at Christmas instead of some kind of cinnamon dessert. In short: a soulless, efficiency-driven cafeteria with no heart. We'll never go there again.

I was invited to a birthday celebration at the Hotel Steigenberger Conti Hansa in Kiel with a total of 22 people in one of the function rooms. We were welcomed with a delicious non-alcoholic cocktail. Then, soup was served as a starter, followed by a buffet. The selection was truly first-class. There was something for absolutely everyone: cold appetizers, hot main courses, and various desserts. The afternoon cake buffet from the serving trolley was also very tasty. The service was very friendly and attentive. Therefore, I'm giving it a solid 5 stars!

So we were very satisfied. The service was good and we couldn't find anything negative about the food. Of course I cook differently at home but that's why the food was still good. The staff was very friendly and attentive. And the price/performance ratio was completely okay.

It’s a shame that all meat and fish is cooked from frozen. The service is great from waiters but the food from frozen is not acceptable at the so called four star hotel. There is hardly anyone in the restaurants and it clearly shows why. I expected better, but expectations are not always met

An average to good dinner in an upscale but empty restaurant with only one other table occupied. Even for a Sunday evening, there weren't enough guests and it was correspondingly cool. Very polite staff, who didn't always have an eye on the two tables, which can't just be excused with reluctance. However, information about ships and courts was available upon request. As a welcome from the house there were two types of bread with seasoned salt and oil, the bruschetta starter was very good, the pan fish as the main course was good, but there was not enough mustard sauce and the (sauteed) leaf spinach was completely raw and unseasoned. Conclusion: average to good but you should expect more in a house of this class.

Die Martinsgans ist eine wunderbar runde Sache. Service, Fleisch, Maronen, Rotkraut und Knödel sind hervoragend, einzig der Rotwein passt nicht ideal zum Menü.

Wir waren 2 mal hier. Beim ersten Besuch vor ca. 4 Jahren waren wir sehr zufrieden. Diesmal hatten wir das Gefühl dass das Essen schlechter und die Preise höher waren. Der Zander war nicht mehr knusprig, weil die Soße über die Zanderhaut gegossen wurde. Der Salzgehalt war auch nicht optimal. Das original Wiener Schnitzel kam sehr lieblos garniert an unseren Platz und erinnerte in der Aufmachung eher an ein Kneipenessen.

We celebrated our wedding at the Haus des Sports, and it was simply perfect! The food was incredibly delicious, the service was always attentive, warm, and super friendly. The ambiance also invited us to linger and created a wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommended!

We ate at Bato's at the airport today. We ordered a platter for two and wanted to share it with our child. At the end of the bill, we noticed an extra charge of €21.50. When we inquired, we were told that the three of us had eaten the platter together. We hadn't asked for this, as we wanted to share the platter. Our child can't finish a dish on their own. I find it outrageous to make decisions without consulting the customers. I simply expect the waitress to talk to the customer and not just make a decision. A request to the kitchen: please make sure there's less oil in the skin of the fried potatoes. They would be much better otherwise. Because of all the oil in the skin, they were too greasy.
