Restaurant Im Handelshof in Mönchengladbach

Everything was very clean, as far as I could see. Very friendly chef. Prices too low for such great food. Honestly, everyone has to be able to live their own way. I ordered a BBQ beef burger with fries and salad and my wife a mushroom schnitzel with fries and a small salad. I'm attaching pictures. A schnitzel for €13.80 and a burger for €15. That's really out of date these days. The food is great: fresh mushrooms, not overpowering salad, delicious sauce. The fries are really good. The burger comes with bacon, cucumber, tomato, onions and sauce. The fries are very tasty and crispy. Eating there is fun. They tried to create the ambience, but you have to say it's a restaurant in the Handelshof, which you can see. But they definitely made an effort to create an atmosphere. You can't blame the restaurant staff for the toilet, which is via the Handelshof. There is an elevator, so it's no problem for people with disabilities to reach the restaurant. All in all, a good and very affordable meal prepared with love by a great chef. It's worth a stop.

For this type of restaurant, you'll be hard-pressed to find a serious competitor in Mönchengladbach. It's good, home-style food, honest, and very tasty. I wish I could find these staff at other restaurants.

The restaurant is recommended. The menu is manageable with a good selection of fast-food dishes. The daily specials are varied and offer three price ranges, so you'll almost always find something to suit your taste. The staff are very friendly. It's a food counter; if you order, and it takes a while, the staff will bring the food to your table. Since I use the restaurant for my work break, I think it's great.

Canteen and customer restaurant in one. A few standard menus and a daily menu is a good combination. Then there are friendly staff and a friendly atmosphere. So even after shopping, it's a good opportunity to get something in your stomach. The restaurant is on the 1st floor but there is a wheelchair accessible elevator.

A really great restaurant on the upper floor of the Handelshof, accessible by elevator or stairs. Very nice design overall. The employees are always very friendly, and the food is top-notch in terms of taste and quality. Really very tasty and very well priced too. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Before, I mean before the renovation of the restaurant it was great, today it's no longer my cup of tea, the offer is no longer what it used to be, and the restaurant is only open until 4 p.m.
