Wir waren zum Barbeque Abend dort im August und waren super zufrieden und begeistert von der guten Fleischqualität und den Beilagen, hervorragende Fries mit Trüffel und dem Wirtshaussalat. Vor den Augen der Gäste wird das Fleisch auf der Terrasse Wunsch gemäß gegrillt und a la minute serviert. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, Stammgäste werden gleich erkannt herzlich begrüßt. Wir fanden die gesamte Atmosphäre sehr angenehm und freundlich.

Very nicely renovated, unfortunately no candles or anything like that outside in the evenings. Food was very good, even higher priced. I think wine starting at €45/bottle is steep. Unfortunately, the service was rather arrogant and only wanted to sell, not very human and responsive to the individual customer.

Anyone who thinks Bavarian cuisine always has to be hearty and hearty is wrong at Restaurant Sonnenbichl. Bavarian can also be “noble”. A delicious roast pork, cabbage with caraway and the excellently prepared meat patties with horseradish puree are a really good taste experience. Compliments to the kitchen and also to the attentive service. The restaurant also impresses with a good wine list, a beautiful outdoor terrace and yes, our little dog was also welcome here.

Yes. The service was very nice and tried (a little too intentionally), the atmosphere is nice. We each ordered a “hot drink” and a lemon tart. The drink came relatively quickly, we had to wait a relatively long time for the dessert and by that time the drinks would have been consumed long ago. Unfortunately the tart was pretty average, even though it actually looked nice 😉

Our visit to the Sonnenbichl restaurant was an entirely positive experience. The food was excellent and left nothing to be desired. What was particularly impressive was the excellent advice on wine selection, which perfectly rounded off the culinary experience. The staff stood out for their friendliness and created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The ambience also contributed to an unforgettable stay. We were here for the balloon glow, so I can't say much about the restaurant, just about the event, which was really well organized!

Wir hatten an Silvester ein tolles, in sich stimmiges Menü, welches qualitativ und optisch überzeugend war. Das Restaurant wir von jungen, ambitionierten Leuten geführt, die kreativ, innovativ und handwerklich gut sind. Wie bei unserem vergangenen Besuchen, war auch dieser Abend sehr schön. Das Sonnbichl in seiner jetzigen Form ist ein echter Zugewinn für das Tal.

We had a really nice experience the night before Christmas, waiters are really friendly, the food was delicious and the restaurant has a nice modern but cozy atmosphere. No vegetarian gluten free main dishes but could eat side dishes only. We can recommend the tenderloin, the brokkoli side dish and the Kaiserschmarn. For some reason the restaurant was rather empty..

A place where classic Bavarian meets lovingly modern. With food that fulfills classic wishes and exceeds creative hopes with original ideas. We had a wonderful meal (fish in crazy water and saddle of venison) and were able to enjoy familiar drinks and try new wines. Many thanks to the sommelier of the house for the great evening.

Great ambience, very good food, extensive wine list. A very present and competent top restaurateur as host. Very nice location above the lake. The service team is partly international and is still learning a little. Definitely a recommendation for evenings but also midday on the terrace!

I reserved a romantic table for my husband's birthday dinner. We were offered a small table right at the entrance in the corner or one in the next room with a broken, wobbly table. Dear people, if I make a reservation for a birthday, I don't want to have to worry about making sure it fits when I arrive! It's not romantic in a dark corner right at the entrance where every guest walks past you!!! You know that yourself, right? We didn't necessarily feel welcome, which I think should be different! What I didn't like was that one of the waiters treated the guests differently, there are probably more privileged guests for whom a daily special is offered and then others who it doesn't affect? Prices are high, but the food tastes very good!

Most people write about the delicious food, but the service is just as important, and that is obviously very important here. From entering the restaurant to the last step outside, we felt completely at home, were completely satisfied and were well entertained by the great team. Enjoyment of the food, fun with the service, an excellent combination. Congratulations on such employees (restaurant and reception). 👏💪👍

Great evening!!! Many thanks to Teresa, Dominik, Vladimir and Marc! The farm is located above Lake Tegernsee in the middle of forest and meadows. Classic Bavarian on the outside, high-quality furnishings on the inside without covering up the real thing. We first tried four starters. Those, along with the main courses, were great. As with the equipment, emphasis is placed on quality and the product itself. The selection of both open and bottled wines leaves nothing to be desired. And if you want support and advice, the sommelier Vladimir has great expertise. All in all, we'll definitely enjoy going there again and again, regardless of whether the weather is good or bad! Tolles Restaurant und Hotel!! Es stimmt einfach alles, vom herzlichen Service, über eine grandiose Küche und Weinauswahl bis hin zu der unglaublichen Lage! Bodenständig perfektioniert, weiter so !

In der schönen Natur von Bad Wiesee, wurde das Berghotel Sonnenbichl renoviert..Wir haben hier ein Osterbrunch genossen und waren sehr angetan. Schöne Räume, angenehmer Service, gutes Essen zu erschwinglichen Preisen. Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert..

Sehr kleine Portionen für einen hohen Preis. Wenn man sehr hungrig ist, könnte es sein, dass man mit einer Vor- und Hauptspeise nicht satt wird. Mein Mann hatte als Vorspeise eine Fischsuppe. Da erwartet man normalerweise ein wenig Brot dazu, Fehlanzeige. Da ich die Suppe in als Hauptgang hatte, war das fehlende Brot kritisch, da man von ein bisschen Brühe und 6 kleinen Stücken Fisch nicht unbedingt satt wird. Ja, normalerweise isst man eine Vorspeise, wenn man sehr hungrig ist. Hatte ich - ,ein Lachstatar mit Avocado für 17 Euro. Dabei handelte es sich um gefühlt 1 EL Tatar mit einer kleinen Scheibe Avocado, natürlich ohne Brot. Wir haben dann nach Brot gefragt und dafür wurden uns dann 16 Euro extra in Rechnung gestellt. Die Hauptspeise unserer Tochter, Spaghetti Vongole für 24 Euro war so mini, dass unsere Tochter fast das ganze Brotkörbchen und bei meinem Mann die Kartoffeln als Beilage zum Rinderfilet aufgegessen hat. Mein Fazit: super schöne Location, gerade im Somner mit der schönen Terrasse, aber nix für den großen Hunger. Super tolle Weinauswahl und top Service. Wären die Portionen ausreichend für den Preis und das Brot nicht doppelt so teuer als sonst wo eine Vorspeise würden wir sicher öfter dorthin gehen.

Das Restaurant liegt idyllisch und wir wurden nicht nur sehr freundlich empfangen, sondern den gesamten Abend hindurch hervorragend beraten und bedient. Das Essen war phantastisch. Wir hatten Rindertartar mit Wintertrüffeln als Vorspeise. Es war sehr schmackhaft angemacht und anschliessend das Rinderfilet mit getrüffelten Chips (hausgemacht). Das Filet war das Beste, das ich seit Jahren gegessen habe...- die Weine waren ebenfalls hervorragend (z.B. Grauburgunder vom Weingut Wechsler aus Rheinhessen). Nach dem Essen, hatten wir noch einen feinen Absacker an der Bar und der Barchef besorgte uns ein Taxi, da wir im Dunkeln nicht gerne zu Fuss den Berg hinabsteigen wollten. Das Taxi kam nach 5 Minuten und der Fahrer war ebenfalls sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend - vielen Dank an Ingo für die Führung am Nachmittag und an das Restaurant-Team für die tolle Bewirtung- Wir kommen gerne bald wieder :-)

Wir wurden sehr nett und freundlich empfangen. Der Service war während des gesamten Aufenthaltes top. Das Essen (wir hatten das Menü) war sehr sehr lecker. Auch auf die Einschränkung, dass ich schwanger bin wurde beim Aperitif und den Gerichten eingegangen und diese angepasst (kein roher Fisch, etc.) Tolle Getränkeberatung! Wir waren ehrlich gesagt nicht ganz satt nach dem Essen. Zu den Vorspeisen etwas Brot hätte der Magen noch vertragen 😂🙈 Hübsche, stilvolle Location. Wir werden wieder kommen und bestellen dann einfach einen Gang mehr 😊

Das Essen war wirklich sehr gut gelungen. Ich hatte den "FISH IN CRAZY WATER" einen Saibling und dazu noch Kartoffeltaler als Beilage. Bin nicht so der Fisch-Spezialist, sodass mir das Entgräten schon ein bisschen schwer fällt aber bei diesem Fisch ging es sehr leicht und der Fisch war echt lecker. Als Nachtisch noch eine Pistazien Crème bru­lée. Die konnte meiner Meinung nach mit dem Fisch nicht ganz mithalten, war aber auch sehr gut. Auf der Terrasse sitzt man entspannt, einen Seeblick (Überblick über den See) hat man aber nicht. Die Bedienung war freundlich und flott.

Das Lokal liegt sehr idyllisch mit Blick auf den Tegernsee von der Terrasse aus. Wir haben die Lachs-Pizza und das Rinderfilet gegessen und waren begeistert… auch das Rindertatar als Vorspeise war hervorragend. Wir werden gerne wiederkommen.

Sehr schönes Lokal mit einem tollen Ausblick. Das Essen war sehr gut. Die Trüffelpommes kann ich sehr empfehlen. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und nett. Es lässt sich sehr gut mit einer kleinen Wanderung verbinden.
