Prinzenruhstüberl in Bad Wiessee

Despite official opening hours, it was closed on Saturday around 1:30 p.m. and didn't look like it would be reopened; another couple was confused and left again.

A visit to Eddy's Bodega was once again a very pleasant experience. We ordered steaks – and the quality was excellent, while the price is fair, which isn't a given in this area. Upon arrival, you're personally greeted by the owner and immediately made to feel warmly welcomed – not like a tourist passing through, but as a true guest. The menu offers something for everyone: from tapas to currywurst, pizza and pasta to steaks. Everything is freshly prepared by the owner, and the quality is noticeably high. I recommend Eddy's Bodega in Bad Wiesse!

We were in Bad Wiessee for a few days and reserved a table at the Sonnenbichl restaurant one evening. We were seated promptly, but unfortunately, we had to wait a bit longer for a waiter to attend to us. Here, we unfortunately had the feeling that hotel guests were given preferential treatment?! Otherwise, the staff was very friendly. Now, on to the food... I ordered roast beef with braised veal cheek and I have to say the meat was incredibly tender and the sauce was divine. The buttered spaetzle were also really good. I'll definitely be praying for the chef ;-) For dessert, we had chocolate mousse, which was also very tasty. The value for money is definitely good here. Thanks again for the delicious meal!!

A very nice restaurant with fine cuisine and a stunning view of Lake Tegernsee. Of course, both come at a price, but it's still reasonable.
