Very tasty food. Nothing to complain about. We're regular customers and always enjoy coming back.

We eat here often and have always been satisfied

I've been at Restaurant Ilios during a business trip since I was looking at something different than the usual restaurants available in the area; I was lucky to get the last seat (outside area is very nice but it was rainy). It took quite a bit to get the food served (the restaurant was packed) but the wait was totally worth it; squids were tender and delicious, souvlaki and gyros were perfectly cooked while side salad along with tzatziki was truly a treat). Very good price/quality ratio, especially considering average costs in the area; I recommend this restaurant and I will go back for sure (hoping that Munich weather won't be mean next time).

For a plate of paros, I found three shrimp rings (very dry) a bit too much. The fries were homemade, so I got a thumbs up for that, but they were also very limited. However, there was a mountain of gyros on the plate, so I was quite full. The cheaper gyro plate would have been sufficient. The outdoor area could certainly have been more thoughtfully designed. A note on the menu stating that you can only pay by card for €50 or more would also be nice (although I don't think that's appropriate anymore!)!

A nice Greek restaurant whose service has improved over the years. They even talk to their guests these days ;-). The food is quite good. Unfortunately, the Franziskaner/Spaten beer doesn't go down as smoothly. In the summer, the restaurant has a lovely, shady beer garden. Keep up the good work!

We're from the Netherlands and had a fantastic meal here yesterday (July 11, 2025)!! The staff are super nice and friendly. A solid 10!! 😃 Highly recommended for delicious food at a great price.

A restaurant with a very pleasant atmosphere. The waiters are extremely friendly. The food was plentiful and delicious. The atmosphere outside was really nice in the nice weather. Prices were mid-range, but I would still recommend it and go back. We cycled there.

The food was a poem. The lamb shank and the Larissa plate were very tasty. The staff were very friendly, and the terrace is a cozy and shady spot.

Great atmosphere and cool, hearty waiters! The food quality still needs some improvement; sometimes the meat is undercooked (like the chicken) and sometimes not tender enough. Otherwise, it's top-notch.

We had dinner at this lovely restaurant, and I have nothing but positive things to say. The food was very good, and the service was very attentive and friendly. We'll be back.

Superb Greek quisine and 1st class service, too. I keep dining here every time I am visiting Munich. Dishes are authentic, well seasoned and tasty. Portions are generous. I can keep going on and on but it's pointless. Just go there once and you will be coming back, like I am.

We had the perfect spot that day, perfect service, and truly delicious food. The staff was very friendly and did everything right, accommodating even the smallest details. Truly great service, everything was perfect. The food was excellent, the portions were generous and delicious, and we found a parking space right away, without having to search for a long time.

Das Restaurant Ilios in der Situlistraße 7 in München ist ein wahres Juwel der griechischen Gastronomie. Schon beim Betreten fühlt man sich wie im Urlaub in Griechenland. Die herzliche und aufmerksame Bedienung sorgt dafür, dass man sich sofort willkommen fühlt.  Besonders hervorzuheben ist der Gyros: zart, saftig und geschmacklich ein Highlight. Auch die Calamari überzeugen durch ihre Weichheit und den hervorragenden Geschmack. Die Speisekarte bietet eine vielfältige Auswahl an griechischen Spezialitäten, darunter auch vegetarische, vegane und glutenfreie Optionen.  Das Ambiente des Restaurants ist gemütlich und lädt zum Verweilen ein.Die Preise sind angemessen und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist hervorragend.

Dear innkeepers, I had dinner with my wife this evening, with a reservation. When we arrived you had to spend a minute discussing where you could seat us. That's too long. We waited 15 minutes for the order to be taken. The drinks and appetizer came quickly and were good. Making us wait 50 minutes for the main course afterwards is extremely unprofessional!!! If I hadn't asked if you had forgotten about us, we still wouldn't have eaten. And the word “sorry” doesn’t seem to be in your vocabulary. Too bad ☹️🙁🙁

Very good Greek restaurant. We've been there twice. The employees are very friendly and accommodating. The food was extremely tasty and the portions were plentiful. We'll definitely be back!

Food was great for what you would expect from a Greek restaurant. Tasty, plentiful, friendly served, goodbye with a handshake. A beautiful evening. Be sure to reserve in advance at least on the weekend. Was full to the last place (Saturday, 6:30 p.m.).

An absolute disgrace! Never again! This borders on fraud! 35 grams of cheese with rice as a main course - 12.90 euros.

We are currently on a short vacation in Munich and came across the restaurant IIios by chance. My wife had an unusual dish for a Greek restaurant - ribeye steak 300g grilled to perfection with fresh rosemary for only 27.50. It was perfect. I had a typical Greek gyros dish which was also excellent. The service was very friendly and we got an ouzo on the house before and after our meal. Thank you for the perfect service and the excellent cuisine. In terms of ambience, the restaurant is reminiscent of an old German restaurant, but that wasn't disturbing.

Very tasty, gladly again Also vegetarian dishes, which is usually rare for Greek cuisine... Most of the time I had to feed myself with appetizers :)

Ausgezeichneter Service und sehr schnelle Lieferung des Essens nach der Bestellung. Aperitif und Digestif wurden automatisch serviert. Die Qualität war hervoragend.

We were on the way home and spontaneously looked for something along the way -> found the Ilios and had a very good meal here. We really enjoy going out for Greek food and were absolutely positively surprised.

We gathered in this restaurant for a memorial dinner on January 2nd and were very satisfied. The staff, a warm Greek family, were extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome and well looked after in this special situation. Delicious cocktails, especially the Lillet. Amazing food—I had the moussaka and also tried some seafood; I recommend everything! The garlic pita was a hit at our table, very tasty. Great and attentive service. An excellent experience overall!

Very tasty, crispy gyros. Tzatziki with lots of fresh garlic and the service is also super attentive and friendly. In my opinion, the price-performance ratio definitely fits the portions. Overall very good Greek 🇬🇷 in the area.

Nice beer garden, nicely decorated inside too. I ordered a cold “homemade” appetizer platter. Unfortunately it was just “bucket goods” that should have been clear to me given all the allergens noted. Waiters tended to leave us alone. One was really friendly, the other was grim and lit cigarettes as soon as he left the bar and smoked in the door. It's a shame actually...

I celebrated my birthday with my daughter here today and it was the best choice! The food was delicious and sufficient, I was served very friendly and even got a dessert with the best candle for free! I'd love to come back if I come to Munich again! :)

Service was like that, at least 3 people were always just standing around smoking! Food thrown down carelessly. The best thing was the gratinated cheese. The fries are totally chic, like served at a snack bar, the meat is totally stringy and tough! The souse didn't taste like anything! I have no idea how the store will survive!

Very nice beer garden with large chestnut trees. However, it is located on the main street and subway line and is a bit too loud. The food was good, I had a braised lamb shank which was very tender. Unfortunately, some main courses were forgotten and it took a long time until they were delivered. As a result, the first half of the group had already finished eating, while some still had to wait.

The gyro was more boiled than grilled (pale and tough), the rice literally tasted like nothing 🥵

Im Illios ankommen, ist wie ein Kurzurlaub in Griechenland. Die freundliche aufmerksame Art der KellnerInnen lädt definitiv zum verweilen ein. Auch wenn der kleine kurze Regenschauer nicht lange her war, wollten wir gerne draußen, im hübschen Biergarten sitzen. Der freundliche Kellner wischte uns sofort einen Tisch inkl. Stühle trocken und machte uns unseren Platz so gemütlich wie möglich. Zur Begrüßung gab es natürlich auch einen Ouzo für uns. Wir bestellten einen kalte Vorspeisenplatte welche hervorragend war. Als Hauptgericht gab es für uns einen guten Skiatos Teller und gegrillte Calamari mit saisonalem Gemüse. Enttäuschend war daran, dass es nur das übliche „Brokoli,Blumekohl,Karotten“ - TK Gemüse war. Unter saisonalem Gemüse zu Calamari stelle ich mir definitiv etwas anderes frischeres vor. Alles in allem war der Abend aber sehr schön - nicht zu vergessen der wirklich gute trockene Hauswein, welchen ich auch nur empfehlen kann. Fazit: wir kommen sehr gerne wieder

The atmosphere and service is fantastic. The beer garden is amazing and offered Euro 2024 football matches. I wish the food quality to be improved.

We were here for a business dinner after an event at Zenith. It was no problem reserving a table for 20 people (without a set menu) and we were even able to spontaneously move outside. Everything was really great. The food was good, the portions were large and the service was very, very friendly.

The beer garden is a dream. Unfortunately the S-Bahn is annoying, but it's in the middle of the city. The food is very tasty, the staff and the boss are very nice. And I've never seen the attention in the toilets before. Thank you

Everything was basically good but there is still room for improvement and it can definitely be done better. The mixed fish plate for almost €30 had scallops on the menu and there weren't any on it. We asked and the answer was the menu hasn't been changed yet. . . . Dear waiters, you can say that when you order, right? Unfortunately the vegetables were the mixed frozen version - very, very unfortunate. Instead of free ouzo and free dessert, I would have liked a few potatoes or rice with the fish, we ordered a side dish separately. I know it's not a dream concert and every restaurateur can do it, he says, but when it comes to prices the expectations have just become a little higher. At least mine. 🤷
