Delicious. Can man or woman go.

You get full and the view is beautiful. But the food wasn't that special, carelessly prepared and more like in a snack bar. I prefer other Greek restaurants.

Unfortunately, not very accommodating service. If you want to change something in a dish. Unfortunately here already. It wasn't very friendly and it didn't work out well either. The view is great, the rest could be improved a lot

The view from the terrace is very nice, the staff is semi-motivated, friendly but determined. We had chicken schnitzel with tomato and cheese gratinated, with rice that was unfortunately almost cold, and 1x mousakka, it tasted pretty neutral, the potatoes were half cooked and it was lukewarm, after the review we got 2 drinks on the house.

Probably new owners? Has changed. Service no Greeks. The quality of the food has declined significantly. Ambiance too.

Disgusting and unkempt shop. I think I'm allowed to play because of the location restaurant. The health department should come here regularly...

The first rays of sunshine are here and Zack is sitting outside. Great place, good food, what more could you want. We'd love to come back.

Simply terrible. The starters came at the same time as the main courses. The bruscetta was completely soaked in olive oil, so that my hands were smeared with oil. The filled bifteki turned out to be two small dry pieces that looked lost on the plate along with a measly amount of rice. The rice would have fit in a small coffee cup. The side salad, if you can describe the few lettuce leaves and tomato slices as such, only came after we asked for it. Every average Greek takeaway offers more.

Location very nice..Decor pragmatic..Service as well..but not unfriendly..Food...Bifteki..cruel..almost black..the cheese tasteless..the salad consisted of mashed Chinese cabbage with 1 tomato quarter and a vinegar dressing..that you hadn't ordered...the mirrors were taken down in the toilet..you had to bend down to see inside..the floor was pretty dirty..you still have a lot of work to do..we wouldn't going back...unfortunately

Wir waren heute mit 10 Personen - unser reservierter Tisch war fertig - dort essen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Getränke und Essen kamen zügig. Es war sehr lecker. Ein klitzekleines Manko: es gab keinen Ouzo. Aber wir kommen gerne wieder. Es war bei der Kälte heute warm und gemütlich mit sensationeller Aussicht.

I didn't like the salad, it was hardly seasoned. The Champion sauce tasted like a bag. Fries tasted like old grease. It used to be very tasty there, maybe there's a new chef there? It's a shame... In any case, we don't eat there anymore

Always tasty, inexpensive and nicely located. That was 2018. Still tasty after Corona, but with increased prices. Now I got something again after a long time. Portion was generous, liver was tender. Unfortunately that was it... The fries were bland, the liver tasted more like lemon, but not like liver. It's a shame, I can get it tastier elsewhere for less money. Therefore dropped from 4 to 2 stars.

Das Essen hat Imbiss Qualität, hat uns überhaupt nicht geschmeckt. Salat mussten wir wegwerfen. Pommes schmeckten ranzig und waren teilweise roh. Soße schmeckte nach Tütensoße. Wir kennen andere griech. Restaurants und haben gute Vergleiche. Wir kommen nicht wieder. Früher war es dort mal sehr lecker. Das war einmal. Offenbar neuer Koch

Was soll man sagen? Nicht darauf verlassen, was man von früher kannte, sondern lieber mal auf aktuelle Bewertungen schauen... Jedenfalls kommen wir frühestens nach dem nächsten Besitzerwechsel wieder. Eigentlich hat Leber ja einen typischen Geschmack. Nicht hier: zwar zart, aber geschmacklos. Höchstens nach Zitrone... Die Pommes schienen teilweise nicht ganz durch zu sein, hatten aber eh keinen guten Geschmack. Das Hähnchen Filet meiner Frau war auch nichts besonderes - doch, die Sauce war besonders schlecht! Auch der Beilagensalat konnte nicht überzeugen. Dafür bekam ich eine halbe Stunde nach dem Verzehr der Leber starke Darmkrämpfe. Zu Hause stellten wir dann bei Google und TripAdvisor fest, dass es nicht nur uns so ergangen war. Ach ja, und die Preise auf der Karte stimmten auch nicht. Statt 16,20 musste ich für die Leber über 18€ bezahlen. Wie gesagt: solange dieser Besitzer bleibt, sieht man uns dort nicht wieder.

Leider hat die Qualität des Restaurants sehr abgenommen. Als wir letzten Samstag am Nachmittag bei sonnig klarem Winterwetter eintrafen waren nur 2 Gäste da. Das war schon sehr merkwürdig. So ein fantastischer Ausblick und keine Gäste. Wie bestellten und Lamm aus dem Backofen. Das Fleisch schmeckte neutral, die viele Bratensause kam aus der Packung und war viel zu stark gebunden. Der Salat war minimalistisch, etwas Eisbergsalat mit ein wenig unpassenden Dressing. Der leckerer Reis beschmiert mit der grausamen Sauce. Das Personal hat sich dem Standard angepasst und trägt nur noch Jogginghose und Schürze. Im Zukunft gibt's dort nur noch einen Cafe, um den schönen Ausblick zu genießen.

The view was the very first thing we found particularly great! Then the food came, super tasty and real enough to fill you up. Also worth mentioning, of course, was the staff, who always checked whether everything was OK without being intrusive. Great!

Actually only 0 stars would be deserved. Had reserved a table for Christmas Eve. We have received a confirmation by email. We had the table confirmed again by phone 3 days beforehand. Unfortunately, we (and other guests) still found themselves in front of a closed door. The store was closed and no one could be reached. Very sad, something like this would never have happened with the old owners of Kokkinidis.

Good Greek directly on Lake Baldeney. Classic as you would imagine in a Greek restaurant. The food could be presented more beautifully, but it still tastes very good. Overall, a decent restaurant with some room for improvement.

Childhood memories come true here. We were always there with my dad, so I've known the restaurant for a long time. The service is always friendly, the food is delicious, the view is great, and our own parking spaces make traveling by car easier. Fairly priced. Afterwards you can take a nice walk along Lake Baldeney. Always my pleasure!

Das Restaurant war mal eine gute Location. Ein schöner Blick auf den Baldeneysee mit normaler Gyrosküche. Der Service war auch damals schon langsam und ineffizient. Aber jetzt?!? Der Service gewohnt schlecht und das Essen auch. Inzischen kann man hier nicht mal mehr Gyros - das nun jede Imbissbude hinbekommt! - essen. Ein totaler Griff ins ... .

The Greek restaurant is right down the path to Villa Hügel and at Villa Hügel train station. . In summer you certainly have a beautiful view of Lake Baldeney. 🧑‍🚀It is well attended and probably🪑🪑🪑🪑popular. The furnishings are simple. The waiters are friendly, unlike before, and the menu is brilliant. My girlfriend ate salmon and I ate gyros. I wanted baked potaetos with the gyros, but the waiter was horrified. It had to be 🍟. The salmon was missing the dill and was very spartan. The salad was low and not tasty. We both drank a rhubarb spritzer, which tasted quite good and was chilled. The audience was pleasant. But other than its location, it has nothing that makes it special for me personally. The price/performance ratio is absolutely okay. Unfortunately it can't be my favorite restaurant. There are other Greek restaurants that also specialize in this and also have simple but Greek decor. But the location is great, and if you like being there and eating, then it's good. Everyone has their own experience.,🍺

What a disappointment. Admittedly, we haven't been here in a while, but we enjoyed our family wedding dinner there 5 years ago. Went here once in the meantime and it wasn't so good anymore. Now the food is takeout quality, sorry. Small portion, meat quality ok but not good. Fries crispy on the outside, half raw on the inside. Metaxa sauce bland and rather neutral in taste. Non-carbonated Sprite. Cheap cutlery and plates. Really, really, really sad. Service but very hard Addendum: We found out that it is no longer run by Greeks as the original owner unfortunately passed away a few years ago.

Terrible ! You eat better in every chip shop. Service very listless and unfriendly. Broken glasses, tables not set and sticky, everything very run down. There were no beer mats, which means our table was wet and the drinks slipped around on the crooked tables. Bad campsite atmosphere. The side vegetable was broccoli. Very Greek! Tzatziki from the Metro bucket. There was no ouzo with the bill - I know it differently. It was my first time here and I won't be coming back.

Absolute, repeated disaster of the store. The service staff cannot be surpassed in terms of unfriendliness and ignorance. After 40 minutes no drink and no menu. Our visit to Hügoloss was a successful evening. Although we came during the week without a reservation, we easily got a place on the beautiful terrace with a wonderful view of Lake Baldeney. A real plus point, the view is great. The service was friendly and attentive. Our orders were taken quickly and the food came to the table without a long wait. The food itself was very good and the portions were generous. As far as value for money goes, we found it reasonable. A little tip: On the weekend, I would definitely recommend making a reservation in advance, as the restaurant is sure to be fully booked quickly due to the great location. According to the homepage, reservations should be made two days in advance. Overall, I can highly recommend it – be it for a relaxed evening for two or a meeting with friends.

Parking is just a problem. However, good access by S-Bahn.

In January I reserved a table for August due to a special event. We were assigned the last table in the plump ☀️. When we wanted to exchange it we were treated very rudely and rudely. The view is of course beautiful. However, the food is more than bad. As soon as you see the plates you can tell how little effort has been put into them, there's nothing that catches the eye. Food doesn't really taste good, I'm used to something different from Greek. Not really fresh. But I think the service is even worse. Totally unfriendly, the people who work there don't care at all. You get the feeling that as a guest you are more of a nuisance than someone trying to get rid of you. The people who work there are anything but warm. Never again ! I don't understand the good reviews here at all, everyone in our circle of friends feels the same way!

Das Restaurant bietet einen tollen Blick auf den Baldeneysee. Das war es dann mit dem Positiven. Der Service ist nicht wirklich vorhanden. Extras wie z.B. Reis und Pommes als Beilage ging nicht. Ich musste mich entscheiden. Wir sind vom Griechen ebenfalls gewöhnt einen Ouzo zu bekommen, auch hier Fehlanzeige. Das Essen war wirklich grottig. Der Gyrosteller beim Brückengrill ist deutlich besser als in diesem Restaurant. Ich würde fast sagen, dass es der schlechteste Grieche ist, den ich überhaupt besuchg habe. Zusätzlich alles sehr lieblos. Der Spielplatz ist sehr ungepflegt. Komplett zugewachse. Den Kindern reicht das Unkraut bis über die Knie. Wir kommen garantiert nicht wieder.

We were very disappointed. For years we enjoyed being guests in the Hügoloss restaurant with its fantastic view over Lake Baldeney, as the food, service and ambience were more than very good. We don't know if there has been a change of ownership, but last night it was just the opposite, unfortunately. When we arrived, we were rudely directed to a table by a "service employee" ("you can look for yourself"). Visually, this employee was anything but appealing (shorts, baggy shirt, dirty apron). The food came quickly, the meat was well fried, but everything had no taste or spices, we had to ask for salt/pepper, ketchup/mayonnaise were just thrown on the table in sachets; The way it was presented was completely careless, so we didn't finish it!!!!! The music in the main room was no longer of Greek origin at all, we felt more like we were in a gym with the boom-bum beat, terrible! It's a shame that such a beautiful restaurant is giving up its flair and therefore sales. Otherwise you had to make a reservation to get a table, yesterday it was almost empty.

Really good Greek restaurant! With a great ambience up on the slope above Lake Baldeney with a view of it. Very accommodating and friendly staff, as you would expect from the Greeks. Food is great! Very authentic Greek cuisine very very tasty! The furnishings in the ambience are a bit old (awnings, etc.) which is why only 4 stars here 🌟 otherwise the Hügoloss is worth every good star given here!

Were there today, unfortunately a reservation was not possible because the phone was broken. The table facing the lake only worked in the second row. But it was ok. The food was great and the staff was also very quick and friendly.

I don't understand all the good reviews at all. I can remember that this restaurant offered a better quality of food a few years ago, but I would say that for a long time now it has only thrived on the great location above Lake Baldeney with a very beautiful view. But that was about it. Some of the food is at the lowest level. The meat is dry and tough. Sometimes very over-seasoned. Overall, the dishes are presented very carelessly. In addition, the labeling of allergens is a catastrophe!!! This urgently needs to be improved. I think I'll soon prefer to sit in a dark restaurant in the basement with no view - if that's what I like. In any case, there are some much better Greek restaurants than this one.

Unfortunately I didn't like the food at all. The gratinated gyro was very salty and dry. I don't find the ambience very inviting - it's rather practically furnished. But the staff was very nice.

We have been customers of Hügoloss for years, everything is great and we often eat the chicken dishes or sometimes the rump steak. Service great, atmosphere great. Even a small play area on the terrace for the children. The view is awesome anyway

The food is so well... I had the beef liver. There were no fried onions, just a little fried and packed in sauce. The liver tasted ok, but the quality was rather poor. The staff was friendly. The view over Lake Baldeney is very nice. Otherwise it was pretty simple, but we also sat outside.

Wir waren mit 8 Personen im Hügoloss und waren einstimmig der Meinung, dass wir schon lange nicht mehr so schlecht gegessen haben. Nachdem wir die Getränke bekommen hatten, wurde das Essen aufgenommen. Der Mitarbeiter war absolut unfreundlich und hat einen Gast aus unserer Gruppe barsch angesprochen, da dieser sich noch nicht für ein Gericht entschieden hatte. Das Essen war sehr schlecht. Die Einrichtung im Restaurant darüber hinaus lieblos und ungemütlich.

My husband and I spent our birthday there in 2020 with several guests. The table was beautifully set up, really celebratory. Our main waiter, Efthemios (?) was very attentive and friendly! The food, as always, was delicious and everyone received their dishes at the same time! All the other waiters are always very friendly. Every time we are very satisfied and go home with a smile! See you next time in just under 2 weeks 😊🇬🇷🇩🇪!!! Update June 1, 2024: Were there again yesterday for the 6th time. I wanted salmon fillet Solomos, but with a baked potato. We had to pay 8.70 (!!!!) for the baked potato in addition to the 23.50 euros for the salmon fillet because it is no longer a normal side dish. I immediately leaned on it. That's usury! Nope, what great times those were when Yanni Kokkinidis still managed the restaurant! In addition, the side panels on the large terrace were down, even though the weather was nice and dry! That's why smoking should no longer be allowed there. Ok, I understand that IN the restaurant, but not outside on the terrace! So you probably have 6 fewer regular guests. In general, the restaurant wasn't well attended for a Friday evening!

Unfortunately, the second time I had diarrhea after eating at Hügoloss. Last night it was beef liver. The restaurant thrives on its location. The side salad has shrunk to the size of a (child's) hand - just iceberg lettuce, a quarter of a tomato and a green pepper. The quality used to be significantly better.

Location, location, location...! The view of the Baldeneysee lake is unique. The ambience has the charm of a garden furniture exhibition, but is well thought out. The food and service are just average and therefore marginally priced.

Leider wirklich unterirdisch! Ich beginne mal mit dem Ambiente, das ist das erst was einem negativ ins Auge sticht. Das Restaurant hat eine tolle Lage mit Blick auf den See, das war es dann aber auch schon an positiv Nennenswertem. Die Tische sind komplett kahl, völlig lieblos, keine Blumen, keine Kerzen, Plätze nicht eingedeckt sondern das Besteck in Behältern. Auch wenn man sitzt werden keine Platzdeckchen o.ä. ausgelegt so dass ein bisschen Wohlfühlatmosphäre entstehen könnte. Hierfür null Sterne. Weiter geht es mit dem Service: Völlig konfus. Billig gedruckte Speisekarten werden nicht in die Hand gegeben sondern auf den Tisch gelegt. Das Personal hatte in unserem Fall leider keinen Überblick darüber, wer von den Personen am Tisch schon Getränke bestellt hat und ging einfach weg, so mussten sie dann leider mehrfach gehen. Freundlichkeit war jetzt auch nicht so richtig mit dabei, also hier arbeiten keine Servicekräfte die ihren Job besonders lieben, behaupte ich mal. Null Sterne. Wirklich enttäuschend war aber vor allem das Essen, das allerhöchstens Kantinen-Niveau hatte. Beilagensalat = drei Blätter Eisberg, eine viertel Tomate, eine Scheibe Gurke, überschüttet mit fertigen Dressing. Frittierte Calamares = totales Gummi, nicht durchbeißbar, überhaupt nicht knusprig. Gemüse als Beilage = TK Kaisergemüse, was mit griechischer Küche wirklich NICHTS zu tun hat! Zsaziki aus dem großen Metro Eimer. In der Moussaka waren Auberginen kaum auffindbar. Alles lieblos angerichtet. Ich habe hier Rezensionen mit Fotos gesehen, auf denen zumindest ein paar Kräuter über die Teller gestreut waren fürs Aug, so etwas gab es bei uns bei keinem der Gerichte. Eine Katastrophe! Ich muss anmerken, dass die günstigsten Preise mir im Vorfeld eine Warnung hätten sein müssen, denn bei dieser Top Lage muss bei 14-19 Euro pro Gericht die Qualität zwangsläufig leiden. Aber so etwas hatte ich nicht erwartet. Ich kann dieses Restaurant definitiv nicht empfehlen.

We continue with the service: Completely confused. Cheaply printed menus are not given in the hand but rather placed on the table. In our case, the staff unfortunately had no idea who of the people at the table had already ordered drinks and simply walked away, so unfortunately they had to leave several times. Friendliness wasn't really part of it either, so there are no service staff working here who particularly love their job, I would say. Zero stars. What was really disappointing was the food, which was at best cafeteria level. Side salad = three leaves of iceberg, a quarter of a tomato, a slice of cucumber, poured over with the ready-made dressing. Deep fried calamari = totally rubbery, impossible to bite through, not crispy at all. Vegetables as a side dish = frozen imperial vegetables, which really has NOTHING to do with Greek cuisine! Zsatziki from the big Metro bucket. There were hardly any eggplants in the moussaka. Everything was done carelessly. I've seen reviews here with photos in which at least a few herbs were sprinkled over the plates for the eye, we didn't have anything like that in any of our dishes. A disaster! I have to note that the cheapest prices should have been a warning to me in advance, because at this top location the quality inevitably suffers at 14-19 euros per dish. But I didn't expect something like that. I definitely cannot recommend this restaurant.

Fantastic view, fast, friendly service and good food. Access is a bit hidden but easy with navigation, although not barrier-free. Interesting location with a suitable price/performance ratio.

I went there with my son after visiting Villa Hügel! The food is very tasty and the service is good too! At the beginning we waited a little longer for our drinks! After visiting Villa Hügel, I can highly recommend this restaurant!
