My first visit & it was fun, the food was very tasty and we were welcomed and served in a more than friendly manner. Tzatziki was so fresh, I have never had a better one. Great! Thanks !

Typical Greek restaurant with a very good, consistent quality. It's not without reason that this restaurant has been almost fully booked every evening for years. Top recommendation.

Great restaurant that I have known and appreciated for many years (1997). The price/performance ratio is totally right here, a wide range of dishes and the friendly staff will make you want to come back. Since it is always busy, it is advisable to make a reservation.

It was quite crowded... but the food was very good. Service was quite fast. The prices were right, too!

A good experience on a Friday evening. I think the menu selection is very good, as in addition to the usual grilled plates there is also a classic selection of Greek dishes. Lamb fillet was tasty, but the consistency was a bit too floury for me. Cozy atmosphere in the main building. We sat in the Winter garden, which is heated by spotlights and is not really inviting with the typical patio furniture and cushions. Unfortunately, the terrace area is not always the direct focus of the service.

The food was very good, service was very attentive and friendly. Unfortunately the restaurant was hopelessly overbooked, there were 6 of us there. Despite reservations, we were only assigned a table for 4 people. It was very cramped and it was not possible to eat comfortably. Due to the very densely packed number of guests, the background noise was correspondingly loud.

The three of us were here for the first time at the beginning of January, then yesterday with 14 people The food is impeccable and the price/performance ratio is great What we personally complain about minimally would be that you could ask more if anyone else would like something to drink. But no problem now, we have a mouth and can address the service

We ate there on Christmas Day. Unfortunately not so good. My wife's cola was completely non-carbonated and the steak was still very raw, even though it was ordered medium plus. I had the Pandosia plate where two pieces of meat died on the grill for the second time. My sister-in-law's bifteki was filled with just a touch of sheep's cheese. A little low on fries. All in all, we weren't thrilled.

We were there for the staff meal and had a really nice evening. Extremely friendly service, nice atmosphere, typical Greek cuisine.

We ate here for the first time today. We really thought it would be good. But unfortunately it was a real disappointment overall. It's really a shame.

The food was very tasty. Starter and main course. Unfortunately, our dessert was not taken or passed on to the kitchen. So we had to ask. Then we were given the wrong dessert. In addition, you were very rarely asked for drinks.

If you like cold pizza and cold fries, this is the place for you and no sauce for the schnitzel

A solid classic Greek restaurant. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The food is delicious, you can tell that the restaurant is popular as it is regularly busy. What is also striking is the cleanliness and the efforts of the owners to ensure that all guests are satisfied. You can definitely go.

I've been coming here for many years and it's nice to always receive such a friendly welcome, without exception! I love the bifteki (filled with feta)! The zucchini fritters (Kolokithokeftedes) are also nice and spicy. All in all: fast, friendly, cozy, tasty, good portions at fair prices!

Good quality food for 20 years. The ambience in the restaurant is nice, the pavilion extension is a bit open and the cosiness is missing. It's been warmly and family-run for years, and we eat here at least once after the gaming fair every year.

We went there spontaneously because we were in the area. There are a few parking spaces in front of the restaurant. Everything's fine. It was very full but we still got a table. The restaurant is attractively designed. When you just think about something, there was already a waiter at the table. Everything went super quickly. The food was extremely good. That's exactly how I want it to be with the Greeks. There was also a very large selection. Absolutely recommended.

The food was really not good. Fries were sticky, gyros weren't crispy, beans were over-baked (?!), the saganaki breading was as thick as the saganaki itself (if it was saganaki at all, which we doubt). Of course, you don't expect gourmet food for the prices, but it doesn't have to be that bad.

We were there for dinner with 5 people on May 29th, 2024. Luckily we had reserved a reservation because it was very well attended. 2 different lamb dishes, 1 gyros gratinated with Metaxa sauce, 1 pork fillet medallions gratinated with spinach and 1 Delphi plate. Drinks came very quickly. The food was served at the same time and was excellent. We'd love to come back.

I can only recommend this nice restaurant, you have to have time as it is always very busy, it is better to reserve a table. Otherwise you might be unlucky and not get a seat. Food service, nice staff and the price is all right

We have eaten at the restaurant several times. So far everything has always been satisfactory. Unfortunately not this time. The tablecloth wasn't clean, the food came lukewarm, and some of the meat was undercooked. The service was good, but not everything was complete and one meal was delivered incorrectly. It's a shame ☹️

Unfortunately I cannot recommend the Pandosia. I reserved a table for 6 people by phone 4 days in advance for last Saturday. When we arrived it turned out that there was no table for us and they tried to improvise. The first table was much too small as it was only for 4 people, the next table was the same. When we were finally given a larger table and my husband asked if it was finally the right table, the boss came over and immediately started complaining in such an aggressive manner about what we wanted because we now had a table. After all, he wouldn't know us and we should be happy to have a table now. I thought I misheard. I've never experienced anything so cheeky and we then left the restaurant. An absolute no-go to treat guests like this 👎👎

We are here often. The food is always delicious and the service is quick and friendly. The beef fillet is worth a special recommendation, very tasty and inexpensive.

Solid Greek cuisine, attentive service and reasonable prices. Very busy restaurant in the middle of the week. That is also a good sign.

Were very disappointed this time. Had specially ordered a nice table for our 60th birthday. Get the one to the toilet and kitchen corridor. Waited an extremely long time for food, but everything was grilled pretty black. Some of them are no longer edible because they are so dry, such as the liver. When the plates, some of which were still quite full, were cleared away, they apologized nicely, but what was actually a nice evening with friends was ruined and they will never come there again... It's a shame, I've often had good experiences there

A spontaneous visit to this Greek restaurant turned out to be a hit! We were seated straight away and the food exceeded all expectations. The portions were plentiful. Definitely a place to recommend if you're in the mood for delicious Greek food.

Like most Greek restaurants, it has little to do with real Greek cuisine. But the food was okay, as were the prices. The waiters seem a bit hectic and disorganized.

Wir hatten auch ohne Reservierung einen Tisch für 3 Personen erhalten, obwohl das Restaurant schon sehr gut besucht war. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und die Bestellung wurde schnell geliefert. Das Essen hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt und wir kommen gerne wieder Ein hervorragendes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis in einer tollen Atmosphäre hat uns absolut überzeugt

Essen war wie immer sehr lecker, auch wenn wir lange darauf warten mussten.

Wir haben an Weihnachten einen Tisch für eine größere Gruppe reserviert. Zwei Tische wurden zusammen geschoben. Ein Tisch war nett gedeckt, der andere nicht. Daran hat sich dann auch nichts geändert. Das Personal war bemüht die vielen Gäste zu bedienen, was sicherlich nicht einfach gewesen ist. Die Speisekarte war uns bekannt, die Gerichte waren nicht wie sonst. Preis-Qualität hat für uns an diesem Tag nicht gepasst. Vielleicht wäre eine kleinere Speisekarte besser gewesen.

Trotz Reservierung völlig überfüllt. Draussen gewartet bis Tische frei wurden . Positiv fand ich das Personal trotz wirklich vieler verärgerte Gäste freundlich blieb.

Leider viel zu lange Wartezeiten, das Essen ist ganz okay. Rest passt aber einfach nicht. Nach 40 Minuten Getränke Aufnahme. Nach 1,5 Stunden kam das Essen und nach 2 Stunden wurde uns gesagt das wir gleich gehen müssen da um 19 uhr die nächsten Gäste kommen. Dies wurde vorher nicht erwähnt. Das geht leider gar nicht. Vielleicht sollte man sich nicht zu viele Gäste bestellen an Feiertagen und die die da sind so bedienen wie es die anderen Rezensionen erzählen.

Bestes griechisches Restaurant in Essen. Alle Speisen sind sehr lecker und man hat ordentlich was auf dem Teller. Auch Vegetarier werden fündig. Der Service ist auch gut! Vorher reservieren sollte man aber in jedem Fall, da das Restaurant immer gut besucht ist.

Die Spagetti mit Gambas waren super und die Portion sehr reichhaltig. Wir waren eine größere Gruppe, leider war der Servis etwas holprig. Voll und laut ist es kurz vor Weihnachten ja immer. Der Kanalgeruch auf der Damentoilette war leider sehr unangenehm.

Sehr leckeres Essen und tolles aufmerksames Personal. Der Chef konnte sich sogar noch vom letztem Jahr an unser " Geburtstagskind" erinnern😃. Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundlichkeit. Kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Alles ein allem sind wir mehr als zufrieden. Die Kellner sind freundlich, zuvorkommend und zu jedem Scherz bereit. Das Essen ist ebenfalls sehr schmackhaft. Wir haben keinerlei negativen Punkte und sind vom Lokal, sowie vom Personal begeistert. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder, wenn wir griechisch essen gehen möchten.
