Unbelievable, for me the best restaurant experience in Frankfurt so far. The cook goes around and has conversations. The best schnitzel I have ever eaten in FFM, and I have already tried a schnitzel here in at least 10 apple wineries. The duck was absolutely great too. The service was incredibly good and friendly. I am very convinced and can really recommend it to everyone.

The Hallgarten is the modern, 'traditional' neighborhood pub! Family-run, family-friendly, with regular customers and those who want to become one. It's no coincidence that the food is international; the owner brings his homeland to the table and also knows how to impress with European cuisine; the lasagna is just as good as the tandoori chicken! Outside in summer, inside in winter, always happy in Pals Hallgarten!

Rigatoni Cacchiatore (¿) highly recommended. I definitely order here every two weeks.

The best schnitzel, a varied offering for vegetarians, and always new, interesting surprises on the daily menu. Super nice staff, spacious and cozy outdoor area with loving plants. Always a pleasure, a restaurant in the district that hardly exists anymore!

Family celebration in the Hallgarten. We were greeted very warmly in the friendly, bright guest room. The Mediterranean and Asian starters were served at the end of the counter. Delicious! We were served quickly and friendly at the already decorated tables. The main courses that we were able to choose from the menu were several varieties of schnitzel, curry chicken, salmon and vegetarian dishes. So everyone found something for themselves. Everything was very tasty and sufficient. Followed by a great dessert with espresso. A successful celebration!

The staff was super friendly and we were completely satisfied. Food also very tasty! Would come back any time!

I can only agree with the positive reviews. The boss and the employees are very friendly, the food is rich and really tasty, and the prices are reasonable. And there is a lunch menu. I will gladly come again.

Very good, down-to-earth and honest cuisine at very reasonable prices. The entire team is always very nice and extremely child-friendly. My favorite dish on the menu is the baked sheep's cheese with salad. The fact that anyone could think that this was ready-made convenience food irritated me. I eat this so regularly that I can tell when the chef uses a different sheep's cheese. The other dishes also taste very good. All in all: clear recommendation!

To be honest, we don't share the 5 star ratings at all. The wafer-thin schnitzel and the far-too-thick baked feta were ready-made convenience food, both made in the deep fryer. The “winter salad” was roughly chopped pieces of iceberg lettuce with a bland dressing and completely bland. I would have imagined lamb's lettuce, sprouts, pears or something like that. The ambience? Wasn't one for me. Bare, cheapest veneer tables, and just place the cutlery on a carelessly folded napkin. Service was friendly and prices were fair, but there wasn't anything else I could mention. For us the last time we were there.

Hier beste Bolognese in der Stadt. Sehr lecker. Müssen Sie auf jeden Fall hier was bestellen, weil alle Gerichte. Kellner sehr höflich und hilfsbereit. Die Inhaberin auch megahöflich 🥰 Sie brauchen bessere Instagram!! Da mit mehr Menschen würden wissen.

Wirklich ein sehr schönes Restaurant im Nordend. Die Atmosphäre war sehr sehr angenehm und die Bedienung war wirklich Top. Das Essen war sehr Lecker und auch vom Preis - Leistung her kann man hier nicht meckern. Ich werde jedenfalls des Öfteren vorbei kommen. 👍🏽

Die Freude war groß, erfahren zu haben, daß dem Nordend die schon über 50 Jahre bestehende Lokalität, damals beginnend mit „Burgas Bierhütte“ über „Cafe oder was“ und „Luther“ jetzt mit dem neuen „Restaurant Hallgarten“ trotz des Umzuge in die Hallgartenstraße 61 erhalten geblieben ist. Das Wichtige für mich daran ist, daß die Speisekarte annähernd gleich geblieben, das Essen von sehr guter Qualität ist, bei immer noch moderaten Preisen. Auch wenn dem neuen Standort für den bewirtschafteten Außenbereich die romantische Umgebung der Kastanienbäume fehlt, ist der Besuch des Restaurants empfehlenswert. Der Ausgleich dafür besteht in einem neueren und schönerem Ambiente mit großzügigerem Innenraum. Ich wünsche dem neuen Besitzer und langjährigem Koch der alten Stätte Herrn Pal Singh und Familie eine erfolgreiche Fortführung des Lokals. Sie werden mit dem weiteren Besuch eines alten Stammkunden rechnen können.

Great restaraunt very good service and great prices. Dinner for two with three drinks was only 35 euro so I’d say great value !

chilliger barjazz im hintergrund und ein superleckers schnitzel. käme nicht auf die idee, hier etwas anderes essen zu wollen. ich komme auf jeden fall öffter :-)

Wir waren das erste Mal dort und es war super lecker! Große Portionen und alles war sehr frisch. Das Essen kam sehr schnell, der Service war Top und super familiär und auch das Restaurant an sich ist sehr sehr gemütlich. Auch Preislich 5/5 Sterne! Ich schreibe normalerweise keine Bewertungen aber hier kommen wir definitiv nochmal her.

Heute das erste Mal bestellt. 4 Pizzen, super lecker super knusprig. Die Kinder waren begeistert. Das war nicht das letzte Mal, dass wir dort essen.

Das ist sehr schön eingerichtet, die Fische im Aquarium sehen gut aus, die Bilder an der Wand auch, klasse Atmosphäre, sehr, sehr freundliches Personal, Essen ist eine Mischung aus "gut bürgerlich", griechisch, italienisch, persisch, indisch. Keine nervtötende Musik, sondern ruhiger Bar-Jazz. Habe mich mehrmals sehr wohlgefühlt. Übrigens, der Chef und Koch ist der ehemalige Koch vom Luther. Ich komme wieder, keine Frage.

Preis Leistung mehr als gut. Leckeres Essen und nette Bedienung. Kleine aber gute Mittagskarte, von allem was dabei.

Wir lieben das Essen hier. Was gibt es besseres als Essen das immer gleich lecker und frisch ist. Grosses Lob an den Koch. Selbst die Salate schmecken mir außergewöhnlich gut. 🤓

Neue Lokalität, alt bewährte Küche. Das Essen hat die gewohnte Qualität, die Portionen haben eine angemessene Größe, die Preise bezahlbar, die Atmosphäre gemütlich, das Personal freundlich und auf Zack.

Eröffnung am Freitag 10. März. Das kann nur gut werden: Hier kocht das ehemalige Luther ‚von um die Ecke‘. Sehr engagierter Betreiber & Familie. Konnten schon einen Blick nach drinnen werfen (schöner großer Raum, nette Deko und schönes ‚Eingedeck‘). Die Karte enthält viele Bekannte und Neues. Preise stimmen. Wünschen dem Hallgarten alles Gute.
