Restaurant Guzulka in Berlin

Today we celebrated my birthday at a brunch at the Hutsulka restaurant and were very satisfied, because the delicious food, starting with Ukrainian borscht, varenyky, pancakes, cabbage rolls, kebabs and ending with fresh fruit and various pastries that melted in your mouth; the friendly and benevolent atmosphere created by the management of the establishment and its employees, contributed in every way to my assessment. Add to this the live Ukrainian music and the hall of the establishment, decorated in the Ukrainian national style. At the end of the brunch, I was very moved by the anthems of Ukraine and Germany. I am very sorry that Hutsulka is still the only one in Berlin, and we drove an hour and a half to the restaurant, but believe me, the pleasure received from the food, atmosphere and service was worth it.

[Resubmitting with profanity removed because this place is worth the review] This place slapped my father and I in the face with some of the best food I had ever had. Maybe it was the previous days [crummy] curry wurst, or the 2 beers talking but [gosh darn] the food was 'sehr lecker' as the Germans say. This translates to 'THIS SOME SERIOUS GOURMET [STUFF]'. The interior was a tastefully exotic amalgamation of thousands of babushkas fine china. Cups, bowls, and plates hang from the ceiling whispering to you "You ain't ever seen this sorta [stuff] huh". The walls are wildly colorful and blasting your eyes with patterns and shapes I've only ever seen while under the influence. The music is all Ukrainian pop music which although entirely nonsense to me, slapped. This place is as close to you can get to wherever the [heck] it was that Alice went. Wonderland? Yeah surely that's the place. If you are ever in the Berlin airport with a 4+ hour layover: Get a [flipping] taxi. Come to this place. Get the vegetarian Borscht, a couple dark beers, and whatever appetizer it was that came with a vodka shot. 10/10.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful evening at the Hutsulka restaurant – everything was simply amazing! 💛 The atmosphere was cozy, the food was incredibly delicious 😍. The shashlik deserves a special mention – 10/10! 🔥 Special thanks to the blonde girl who served us – very pleasant, attentive, and competent 🌸. We also had the chance to take photos in traditional Hutsul costumes – a great idea for beautiful photos and unforgettable emotions 📸🇺🇦 We'll definitely be back! ❤️

Where you can enjoy all kinds of dishes, have a good time, celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, christenings, weddings and all your important holidays that will always remain in your heart. ❤️It is also very nice that there is a cozy Apart Hotel on the territory of the restaurant, where you can stay, relax and easily get to both the center and the Berlin Airport. We ordered the meat platter, borscht, and vareniki – each dish was a culinary highlight. The borscht was authentic, aromatic, and perfectly seasoned; the vareniki were handmade and delicious; and the meat platter was of the highest quality, perfectly prepared, and beautifully presented. I would especially like to highlight the service: extremely friendly, attentive, and warm – you immediately feel welcome. A place where enjoyment and hospitality come together at the highest level. A clear recommendation and a more than deserved 5 stars!

A very nice Ukrainian restaurant. We came here by recommendation of a colleague and very much enjoyed our dinner here👍🏼 A lot of traditional Ukrainian decorations. A huge variety of dishes and drinks. Portions of very respectable size - after a soup and a main there was no more space left for desserts 😅 Looking forward to coming here again!

We didn’t plan, we were just looking for a place to eat well — and ended up in a real corner of our home in the heart of Berlin. Hutsulka restaurant was not just a chance discovery for us, but a real gastronomic embrace. We found it through Google Maps, went in hungry, and left happy, full and a little enchanted by this atmosphere. The food is incredibly delicious, the portions are generous, everything is very honest about the pricing policy. It is clear that they cook with their soul, as if for their own. And the service is a separate story. We were met by an incredibly friendly and sincere lady, whose name is Natalia (possibly the owner or co-owner). A person who not only knows her business, but also sincerely loves what she does. She knows how to create warm contact, offer exactly what you want, and keep the conversation going so that it seems that you have known each other for a hundred years. This is the type of place where from the first minute you understand: you want to come back here again, and more than once. Because this is not just a restaurant - this is a place with character, with a soul, with a Ukrainian heart in Berlin. Thank you for your hospitality and warmth. Hello, I was there for Father's Day with my daughter and son-in-law, grandson and dog were also there. We were warmly welcomed, served promptly, and always with a smile on our faces. Now for the most important thing: The food was phenomenal! As a trained hotel manager and cook in fine dining and home-style cooking, after 36 years of professional experience, I can say: Perfect! When your eyes can feast on the lovingly prepared dishes and plates (very beautiful ceramics) and then you actually taste it without exception, this is a culinary feast. The prices are a little above average, but for such fine, very well-seasoned, fresh cuisine, I'm absolutely happy... The value for money is unbeatable, with truly more than generous portions on plates that you could almost call platters. Even the dessert, Ukrainian vanilla ice cream, was so well portioned and garnished that the six of us only needed three servings; two would have been enough. There was absolutely nothing wrong with it. It was devoured to perfection, and after a happily satisfied four hours, we returned home longing for a nap, with a portion of one of the leftover main courses, two servings (!!), which easily served one of us as lunch the next day. The pelmeni were also made with absolutely fresh dough (nothing like frozen!), spicy and super delicious, and filled with plenty of it (they don't look very good in the photos, but that's a misleading one!). You're happy to wait about 20 minutes, give or take. Good things take a little while. For starters, both our soups were decent, with garnishes and plenty of seasoning. Bread, salt, bacon, and cream were beautifully arranged on a wooden board. Everything was freshly prepared and cooked to perfection, with the love of cooking clearly evident. Cooked by someone who only serves what they would like as a guest, and anything that doesn't taste good doesn't leave the kitchen! A bravo, and rightfully so! The interior is lavish and somewhat rustic, with ceramics and items from bygone eras. The restaurant is located in the basement, but is still bright and welcoming. Outside the windows, there's a kind of wraparound, covered terrace, and from the restaurant, you can see a huge koi carp pond. The hotel is located above the restaurant. As the saying goes in the restaurant world, "Look at the restrooms and you'll know what the kitchen looks like." I have to say, I haven't used such a clean and beautifully designed restroom in a restaurant in a long time!!! 5***** for that too! Surely you could eat off the floor in the kitchen! Even in the restaurant, despite its lavish decor, there wasn't a speck of dust to be found (the restaurant eye sees more🤭😉but it's top notch here!). Oh yeah, there's also a shoe shine machine! To top it all off, there was also Ukrainian music. Sitting on the fur-covered chairs, enjoying the overall ambiance, the fantastic food, and the incredibly friendly and welcoming service, it was a special culinary experience for all of us, and certainly not our last visit. (To the friendly waitress (presumably the owner), I've already advertised as promised and will definitely be back with other new guests! Continued success, greetings, and thanks to the kitchen, huge praise.) Thank you so much!

Our restaurant visit on Friday wasn't bad, but I left a review pointing out rude service. What really worried us, however, was what happened next: A server at the restaurant looked up my husband on Facebook and wrote to him that his wife had written a bad review. This felt intrusive and quite disturbing. Honest feedback should be received constructively and not met with personal attacks. We were both a bit shocked.

Today my daughter and I visited a wonderful restaurant-museum. We waited for the opening, we traveled for a long time, but then we were unforgettably impressed by this place! Thank you for the delicious dishes, but despite the hunger, delicious food was not the most impressive factor for me. Much more important is the atmosphere here - design, music, service, attention to customers - all this deserves only the highest awards. I saw not just a high-quality business, but a life's work that these people do with great love. Every element of the decor, every little thing from the collection - it's not a little thing, everything is collected and preserved with a soul, a real UKRAINIAN SOUL. Thank you for the feeling of happiness and pride that I received today!

One of the best Ukrainian restaurants in Berlin — atmosphere, cuisine and service at the level of 10/10! “Sawewanez Telyatschej” impressed me so much that even home-made options seem less perfect. “Salat pid Schuboj” is an absolute must-try. But the real masterpiece was the trout — it’s not just a dish, but a work of art! I also want to add that there is a children’s menu, which the child really liked. This is a place where you want to come back again and again. One of the best Ukrainian restaurants in Berlin! Perfect atmosphere, excellent service and authentic cuisine at the highest level. I came by here the other night as I was in the area and was very sick and needed to have soup, and I was very warmly and generously greeted and served. A completely unjustifiably high rating on Google, so I give it one star. It just doesn't taste good. The worst puree is made from potatoes that have been cooked long ago and heated in the microwave. Ugh. Olivier is under-salted, but there is too much pepper. In response to my request not to decorate the dish with parsley, the immediate waitress exclaimed in surprise, “Damn!” This behavior is so stupid that it made us laugh. Well, in general, the atmosphere of a diner with floral tablecloths.

We were there for brunch today (10/27/24). It was really great! The employees were super nice and accommodating! The food was amazing! It was a great insight into Ukrainian cuisine and a great selection of cold and warm dishes. Personally, I was particularly impressed by the various dumplings, but the dessert selection was also incredible! We'll definitely be back!

Incorrect design and approach did not please a large number of people at all! If you download some buffets where you pay a lot of money at once, it can even be! And if you just place an order to sit with friends in a large company, the portions are very small and the prices are terribly high! When someone orders a dish for the first time and has no idea how much food will be on the plate First time I see something like this!!!!!!!!! I didn't like it at all, sorry. 🫣 The menu should include a photo of the dish so you know what it looks like and what to expect. Next to the photo of the price and the name of the dish, the “grams” of the food should indicate how many grams or pieces the food has

Este restaurante está muy bien amueblado y está conectado a un hotel. Pero puedes visitar el Restaurante Guzulka durante el horario de apertura. Fuimos recibidos amablemente por las camareras y nos atendieron rápidamente. Ordené: Uswar 4 € Banosch 12 , 5 € Bouef Stroganow 24 , 9 € Medowyk 6 , 9 € El Uswar es un Punch, que es un poco común en Polonia también, sabía suave como vino de ciruela. Banosch es un entrante con almidón de maíz y salsa de hongos. Sabía bien y no era demasiado saturante. El Bouef Stroganow era agradable en sabor, pero nada demasiado especial que justifica el precio. En general, una agradable visita con un ambiente relajante.
