Very nice and cozy place. We were with my son. My son is 9 years old and it is very interesting that you can see how real dumplings are made, because they are made right behind the window and you can see the whole process. We visit this place with pleasure, my son is already 11, and the dumplings and borscht are just as delicious and the staff is very friendly! I recommend it!

Update: came again and was disappointed that the owners were smoking cigarettes next to us during our entire meal. Waiters were not friendly like last time and the prices are higher. Also their new menus are sad. The old one was much more sympatisch. Food was still good but there was a lot of miscommunication and we did not get exactly what we had ordered. We will be back, but it was a bit of a let down this time. Incredibly delicious; the perfect place to go on a rainy and/or cold day. Soulfood! Absolutely love that our server suggested we order a different sauce because it would go better with our main dish. A bit expensive, but when you consider how much food you get for it (portion size) it is well worth it. Would maybe be nice to have some more drink options on the menu. Will definitely recommend it to others and come again. For breakfast next time!

I have been to this place once and I cannot say that I enjoyed the food. The biggest no was because of the price. It’s unreasonably expensive. I can understand that sometimes places have expensive menu, and they offer something extra for that. This place is not that case. It’s just okay, but costs like it does something extra. I would not recommend it. I’m Ukrainian, and I know how the dishes can taste 🙂

Very unpleasant, dirty, we went in and out, the smell is unpleasant, you wouldn't want to eat there.

We ordered four dishes, two of which were unfortunately delivered incorrectly. The borsch was too salty, the spinach galishki tasted bland, and the extremely thin potato pancake smelled of rancid fat. The vareniki deserved 4 out of 5 stars, but they were delivered incorrectly; we hadn't ordered them. Unfortunately, the prices were also too high.

Why doesn't Google tell you that it's closed? I drove here especially for vacation from August 10th to August 24th, 2025.

Very nice staff! The kids ate borscht, they really liked it! They treated us to compote and pancakes, for which special thanks) But to be honest, the decor and the door in the toilet leave much to be desired... But overall we were satisfied)))

⚠️ Fraud: My delivery was missing the fresh green herbs advertised in the photo. €15 for a few noodles with potato filling was also way too expensive, tasted very bland, and lacked any seasoning. Neither fresh nor soul food...

The food was really delicious. However, if you're a salt freak, you might have a problem. Unfortunately, there's only one kind of beer: Becks from the bottle.

I had Varenyky. First time tasting Ukranian food. It was excellent, i was surprised. And i come from Argentina where pasta is good as well. The side salad was excelent too, very well spiced.

Simply great! An unassuming restaurant with authentic Ukrainian cuisine, just like grandma used to make. Decent portions and refreshing compote.

A very authentic and delicious shop run by very nice ladies. We had all kinds of dumplings and the vegan borsch, and we really enjoyed everything. We love shops like this in Berlin!

Extremely wholesome food, really felt like a proper healthy home cooked meal. Great borscht and wareniki. We all really enjoyed it and look forward to coming back.

I ordered borscht to go (the version with meat, which is more expensive 8,5 euro) only to discover at home that I have one tiny piece of meat, the size of a pea! I was shocked, this is not how you treat your customers. Will not come again definitely. Also the prices displayed outside are not the real ones, on the menu in the restaurant everything was a few euros more expensive.

Cozy Ukrainian restaurant with very tasty traditional recipes and homemade iced tea. There is no beer on offer here.

Absolute insider tip when it comes to Ukrainian cuisine. The portions are very large and you will be full. I find the dishes very authentically Ukrainian. All dishes are fresh and perfectly served. Prices are absolutely acceptable. Definitely a must. 🔥👍🏼

The food was ver delicious. Would recommend 10/10 Unfortunately the service was non-existent. It was clear that there was a language barrier but not saying hello, bye and thank you is really really bad. They could have easily up-sold us to cake, soup or similar but thet were just straight up not even trying to talk to us. We just got the menu in total silence. We were the only customers around lunch time on a Saturday. Also the prices displayed outside of the restaurant were not the real prices. Everything was 3-4€ more expensive! I highly recommend to update to avoid fees from the city. Last but not least the inside of restaurant was a bit run down and the old fridges were making loads of noise. Highly recommend to put up at least some radio music to make it less annoying.

The 🥟 with meat was delicious, tasted home-made. However, it seems like the one we had was missing one side dish comparing photos from other posts. Will try the soup next time. One lady’s store in that early evening / late afternoon.

It's shameful that this restaurant had to rebrand from Russian to Ukrainian food. Yes, what Russia is doing to Ukraine is wrong, but no, it is not wrong to share Russian cuisine. Or any cuisine, for that matter. You can tell from their menu that a few years ago, it was originally marketed as Russian.

Out in the sun-blessed meadows I breathe the fresh breeze that tumbles across the sunflower fields. A ratatouille-esque nostalgia shiver down my scoliouse spine when i take a single sip from the borscht. My beloved carries water from the Dniepro in the one, our infant son in the other arm.

Food was very good but it was overpriced. The price was 5€ more then on the menu which was on their website, not a great surprise.

Yesterday my German friends and I visited this establishment. There were problems with the borscht; those who ate it sat in the toilet for a long time. 2. Please serve the sour cream separately with the borscht and not throw it into the borscht yourself. 3. German friends liked the cuisine

Great food and very friendly staff

One of my favorite places in Berlin. It’s a very cute little restaurant and the food is real soul food. They have a lot of vegan and vegetarian options that taste super fresh and you don’t end up feeling heavy, just content and comfortable. It’s a very homey cozy experience, also because of the lovely staff. I recommend this place to everyone!

I read about this institution a long time ago and really wanted to visit it. Finally, such an opportunity arose, so they stopped by. Friendly staff, very tasty dishes, large portions. We ate only borscht, we took the other dishes with us, so it was enough for dinner :) I expected something different from the place itself, but it is not so important for a good meal. It didn't spoil the impression) If you miss Ukrainian dishes, I recommend visiting the restaurant or ordering delivery

Lots of delicious vegetarian Ukrainian dishes, both hearty and sweet, freshly prepared in the back. The hot drinks are made behind the counter, the cold drinks are in the refrigerator at the entrance. Very relaxed atmosphere, friendly, personal, warm. Be sure to go and treat yourself to culinary delights.

Unfortunately a very bad experience. There was hardly any service, we were served more poorly than well. The menu is simply a few printed sheets of old, crumpled plain paper. Looks scary... The food was ok, but nothing special. During the meal, the two women who worked there stood outside the door and smoked. All the smoke came in and just made the food terribly unappetizing. My drink was already past its best before date, but we only saw this when I had already finished it. In the end we were billed, no receipt and nothing, just a little scribble on a piece of paper. When we paid, the woman rounded up the change so she got more. We were already too exhausted and didn't feel like discussing things. Absolutely no recommendation! It's audacious to charge €20 per person for such terrible service and average food!

Absurdly bad. The two women smoked outside the door after they brought the food. Of course the smoke came in so that all you could taste was cigarettes. My soda was expired by two months. Prepared as a side dish, not fresh coleslaw. An ambience and service as if they were just a bother. And ridiculously expensive. Not recommendable!

Very nice girl Marina who works there! Greeted warmly, explained everything, brought food very quickly. I ordered dumplings with potatoes. The portion is not large, enough for one person. With dumplings they brought vegetables and salad and very tasty sauerkraut (although I don't usually eat it, but I couldn't resist here...) everything is good, but the cafe itself doesn't look very tidy... but that's normal for Germany. Next time I'm in Berlin, I'll definitely stop by!

Inattentive service not present at the front of the restaurant. You always had to go to the kitchen if you wanted to order or pay. Other potential guests left because no one came forward. The food was okay, but the dumplings with sauce were not very seasoned and the side dishes were not cold but room temperature, which didn't taste particularly good with the coleslaw and carrot salad.

Wonderfully warm, honest food, fresh cherry cake, homemade schnapps, fair prices: go there!

Very delicious, homemade food prepared with a lot of heart and soul. It's not like a typical restaurant, it feels more like you're at home with the owners. You can tell they didn't learn to work in the restaurant business but the love and detail they put into their food is worth so much more. Even if it looks strange at first glance, you should dare to go in and sit down.

Small restaurant that doesn't look like much, but super smiling, welcoming people... dishes to die for. Lots of vegetarian options. A treat for the taste buds. Thank you for sharing your delicious food.

Tasteless and stale food; Pelmeni and vareniki have almost no filling. Very unpleasant atmosphere, it stinks inside. Food doesn't match the price. If you want to try Ukrainian food, you'd better choose another restaurant.

This food is simply heavenly. I suppose it combines Ukrainian cuisine with the desire for vegetables. I had pemeni with spinach and cheese sauce. It was delicious.

Delicious Ukrainian cuisine. The atmosphere wasn't that inviting, but the dishes were even more delicious. There could be a little more on your plate to fill you up or you could simply order a dessert.

Exceptional food. Good service, good radio playing pop/rock songs like Tears For Fears, Robbie Williams etc. The best Solyanka soup I have eaten in years! Chicken pelmeni were also superb. Glory to Ukraine!

We had a nice dinner here. It was my second time here and both times I didn’t have any issues with the food or personnel. Borscht was delicious, and syrniki here are one of the best in Berlin. It’s sad to read such negative reviews about this place and I hope it will get better!

Шок,честно. Переплюнули даже дешманские дёнерские. Борщ кислый . Тесто на пельмени замешивали рядом с моим столиком, найс вид. Вход на кухню, из которой доносятся маты, через туалет. Обслуживание.... мне пришлось ждать вторую часть заказа пока умнички девчонки покурят. Скатерть . Нахрена в заведении есть скатерть на одном столе и та вся заляпанная соусами ? На столовых приборах были частички предыдущей еды 🤢. Какая-то бэдэга.
