I do not recommend visiting, the woman is not friendly, it is not clear why, she said that a reservation is needed, although the restaurant is empty, but she sat us down, I ordered borscht, and said that I will order the second dish later, to which she answered that I cannot order later, either now or not

We traveled from far away with a small child specifically to taste Ukrainian dishes. The door of the restaurant was closed, the phone number was written and "table reservation" they called us and told us to wait in the cold for 40 minutes, although they saw us through the window.... It's unpleasant. maybe it's delicious there, unfortunately I couldn't taste it

The place is saved only by delicious food. The borscht is really very tasty, and everything else we ordered was also up to par. But this smell as soon as you cross the threshold of the restaurant🤦🏼‍♀️is it really impossible to do something about it. And dull folk music, which is probably a hundred years old. The service is good, but, unfortunately, everything takes a very long time due to the fact that there are only two workers in the restaurant (one in the kitchen and one in the hall).

Came to Berlin on business. They were very hungry! We chose this restaurant on Google because we really love the city of Odesa. I usually don't read restaurant websites before visiting and didn't know that a reservation was required. We were politely refused and were not even allowed to use the toilet. The woman I was talking to showed me where the public toilet was and that was the end of the conversation. That toilet was locked. A pizzeria nearby saved us from hunger.

I don't know what the heck is going on here. The place was always empty and now that you need a reservation it's even emptier. I had perogies. They were not good. Perogies can be somewhat lacking in flavour, at their best, but these had no flavour whatsoever. Overcooked and overpriced. Served with a teaspoon of sour cream and a sliver of onions. The restaurant itself has a tacky, cliched, out of date, "Ukrainian" decor.

The food is not tasty, it all has a sort of porky smell.

We were pleasantly surprised by all the dishes. Everything was very tasty. The dishes were freshly prepared and fresh. I was pleased with lard and minced poppy seeds. Very tasty, just like in Ukraine. I recommend 5⭐️

I just wanted to enjoy my dinner with friends. But that was before the waitress came on stage for her gig. My Ukrainian roots taught me only the Russian language, sue me, that I used to communicate with our host, who answered the entire evening in Ukrainian without any warning, while fully understanding what I was saying. You have no idea how stressful that is. And profoundly rude. An entire evening spent wrapped in her passive aggressivity and sass, and me trying to decode what she was trying to tell me before translating it to my friends, my forehead beaded with anxious sweat, feeling the weight of guilt for having brought them there. You might think “why didn’t you switch to German?” Or “why didn’t you just leave”? Which is totally fair. Have you heard of the Stockholm syndrome? I'm well aware of the resistance through language, but I’m on their side, and I just wanted some borscht. Well done for excelling at the ultimate restaurateur's combo: putting yours clients in a state of deep discomfort and incomprehension, while putting the first numbers that pop in your head for average quality dishes, slipping in comments such as “I don’t serve toilet water” when asked for tap, and charging 3,5 euro per glass of still water. To each his own, but I'm pretty old school when it comes to dining out: I like being treated with respect and not feeling ripped off when I leave. But that’s just me.

Authentic Ukrainian food with good quality. Friendly vibe too. I’m looking forward to be back!

Called in advance to reserve a spot for 8PM, was answered with “We close at 10PM” as if us coming to eat wasn’t in their plans at all. Should have known something was up then. Service was fine but very weird vibes. Super overpriced food, bad quality ingredients. There is a lot to chose from on the menu but I would say: Be careful. Borscht was fine but potatoes were made out of rubber. Absolutely not right to be from Odessa and operate a business like this.

The food didn't taste good at all, the salad wasn't fresh. You have to wait a long time for the food to come.

Just a gorgeous place! We went here for the first time and it was so delicious that we didn't even think how much it costs! Before that, we have been to many restaurants of Ukrainian cuisine in Berlin - it cannot be compared! From now on, we will go to a restaurant of Ukrainian cuisine only here! Lard, as tasty and soft as at home, even the bread is warm with a crust! Dumplings are molded by themselves! The staff is the best, the atmosphere is not oversaturated with Ukrainian attributes - it's nice and cozy! Thank you very much! The day has come!

Very disappointing experience! Since I couldn’t even try the food, gonna write about customer service I tried to reserve a table, and since I don’t speak german I asked lady if she speaks russian( I wasn’t sure if they speak ukrainian since their instagram was in german/russian) in response she just hanged up, I tried calling twice. It’s very sad and disappointing since I wanted to introduce my friends to ukrainian cuisine but now i want even try to visit this place. Can’t say anything about food, but be ready for pretty poor customer service Дуже прикро! :( Буду тепер обходити стороною

Very tasty food, the atmosphere is just super, as if I were in Ukraine. I would also like to note the good service, the dishes are in perfect proportions and presentation. I recommend absolutely everyone to dine at this establishment; you can feel that they put their soul into this food. Solid five stars.

I had dinner there with my girlfriend from Ukraine, but we speak Russian to each other, even though we both come from Ukraine, but I can't speak it very well. The waitress immediately started speaking to me in Ukrainian, but I replied back in Russian. Then I went to the toilet and heard that the waitress was talking to the chef in Russian the whole time and I was completely confused. That's just hypocritical. Also too expensive for the food.

Bin mit meinem Freund, der zu Besuch aus Georgien angekommen ist, da extra hingefahren. Da ich kein Georgisch spreche und er spricht kein Deutsch, Lettisch oder Englisch, reden wir miteinander russisch. Das hat die Kellnerin gehört und hat uns beide sofort mit "Slava Ukraini!" begrüßt. Kein "Hallo", nichts anderes, hat einfach sehr angespannt auf unsere Reaktion gewartet. Haben wir natürlich mit "Gerojam Slava" beantwortet, war kein Problem für uns, aber die Kellnerin war von anfang an misstrauisch und unfreundlich uns gegenüber, wir sollten beide mehrmals andeuten, dass wir keine russen sind (!) und erst dann hat sie uns teilweise "normal" bedient, hat aber trotzdem immer wieder auf ukrainisch gesprochen und hat erwartet, dass wir es verstehen(die Sprache spricht keiner von uns beiden). Zu ca 60% habe ich es verstanden, habe sogar paar Worte, die ich auf ukrainisch kenne, gesagt. Das änderte ihre Einstellung uns gegenüber aber nicht wirklich Das war alles sehr verwirrend und man hat sich nicht willkommen gefühlt. Finde so eine merkwürdige und vorverurteilende Bedienung ist einfach nur Katastrophe. Mir und meinem Freund war das alles extrem unangenehm, auch wenn wir keine russen sind und uns bei dieser Fremdenfeindlichen Attitüde nicht wirklich angesprochen gefühlt haben, die Atmosphäre dort in "Odesa Mama" war nicht positiv oder angenehm. Wir sind sehr dankbar dafür, dass wir die Sprache kennen und deswegen überhaupt miteinander reden können. Wie man an unserem Beispiel sieht - trifft man mit diesem Hass oft sogar "die falschen". Und auch wenn ihr "die richtigen" damit trefft... Die Einstellung zu ändern würde euren Team sehr gut tun. Diese passiv-aggresive haltung kommt aufjedenfall sehr schlecht an. Außerdem war das Essen den Preis nicht wert. Viel zu teuer und die Portionen sehr klein.

Essen hervorragend, Service äußert nett. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Das Ambiente. Extrem traditionell eingerichtet, erinnert jedoch sehr an eine einfache Kantine. Von unserem Tisch aus, war außerdem dauerhaft der Koch zu sehen, welcher seine Arbeit zwar unglaublich gut macht, in seinem Unterhemd jedoch nicht zwingend der appetitlichste Anblick war. Alles in allem jedoch trotzdem äußert empfehlenswert!

Ein wirklich authentisches ukrainisches Restaurant! Es wird gemunkelt, dass es wohl auch die ukrainische Botschaft versorgt. Von außen sehr unscheinbar gelegen, auch nicht groß, aber dafür eine absolut großartige Küche und ein super Service. Das ich außerhalb Osteuropas einmal so hervorragenden selbst gemachten Forshmak essen darf, hätte ich nie gedacht! Дякую! Ich kommen wieder.

Украинская кухня -это очень вкусно. Мы заказали порцию борща пампушкой и с салом, порцию солянки и драники, 250 мл горилочки на 65 евро.

Reichhaltige Küche, man muss deftige Küche lieben. Alles sauber und ordentlich. Die Speisen werden alle frisch zubereitet. Sehr Liebes Betreiberehepaar. Einziger Nachteil durch Corona bedingt, bei größeren Gruppen Vorbestellung mit Anzahlung. Würde jederzeit, wie alle anderen 5 von uns wieder hingehen.

Leckeres ukrainisches Essen, wie zu Hause. Freundlicher Service und gute Beratung. Auch kurz vor Feierabend wurde ich noch herzlich empfangen.

Ich habe vor kurzem das Essen in diesem Restaurant ausprobiert,und leider war ich enttäuscht. Man fühlt sich nicht willkommen, das hat nicht mit die Ukraine zu tun wenn Mann von Gastfreundschaft spricht. Die Gerichte waren nicht so lecker, wie ich es erwartet hatte, und ich fand den Geschmack nicht ansprechend. Ich werde nie wieder da gehen.

Были с семьей вчера. Крайне приятное место с невероятно вкусной домашней едой. Отдельного внимания требует борщ, он был отменным. Спасибо персоналу за шикарное обслуживание. В общем, рекомендую за посещение!

Schlechte Qualität, nicht frisch!

Wir waren heute zu 5 essen gewesen. Jeder cent hat sich gelohnt, dass Essen war sehr lecker und alles handgemacht und frisch. Von daher sind die Preise berechtigt. Es war wie bei meiner Oma. Wir kommen aufjedenfall wieder. Der Salo ist im Mund geschmolzen und die Auberginenpaste muss man sagen, war der Hammer. Das Kyjiwkotlet war großartig und die dazugereichten Kartoffeln . Auch die hausgemachte Bratwurst mit Bratkartoffeln war sehr gut. Die heiße Lammpfanne war ebensfalls sehr lecker und zart. Der Schaschlik war sehr lecker und auf den Punkt gebraten. Danke für den den schönen Abend wie schon gesagt kommen wieder.

Be careful! Everything was good but quite expensive. We were four people and our total was more than €200 and what shock me the most was the cost of a BOTTLE OF WATER. A BOTTLE OF WATER WILL COST YOU €10. Which was absolutely insane. I will never visit this restaurant again. So I've just checked the bottle of water cost 5.5 euros but the lady charged us 20 euros for two bottles of water. What a loot!!

Einfach the best! Wir haben da so viel gegessen und alles schmeckt so authentisch lecker und einfach wie bei Oma 👵 zuhause. Kellnerin ist sehr freundlich aufmerksam und nett. Borschtsch is traumhaft ❤️ danke Muss man aber damit rechnen dass um da rein zu gehen muss man erstmal davon ein Tisch reservieren aber es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall 🇺🇦❤️🇺🇦

Дуже атмосферне і приємне місце. Відмінне обслуговування! Меню трьома мовами, одна з яких звісно українська. Смачна українська кухня, і відмінне обслуговування. А ще можна дізнатись багато цікавого про місто Одеса.

Дуже смачний борщ і вареники, картопля і фаршмак, гарно всередині, все рідне і затишне, обслуговування дуже приємне, рекомендую!! Навіть на мить здалось, що перенеслась до України 😌

Uriges und vor allem authentisches ukrainisches Restaurant. Tolle Dekoration und viele Seemanns Hingucker. Das Essen war hervorragend und man spürt das dort viel hausgemacht wird. Das hat uns die nette Bedienung ebenfalls bestätigt. Die Atmosphäre und die ukrainische Musik lädt zu weiteren Besuchen ein. Wir hatten einen tollen Abend. Danke.

Una piacevole sorpresa poter trovare questo ristorante a Berlino con vera cucina Ucraina squisita, genuina e con una piacevole atmosfera familiare. Tutto buonissimo, proprietaria molto cordiale e simpatica, torneremo sicuramente per altre cene di famiglia. Consiglio vivamente i Vareniki, tipici ravioli, e il pollo alla Kiev.
