Everything was top-notch for a foodie establishment. I'm telling you, "always ready to tuck in!" But unfortunately, the restaurant isn't suitable for musicians; I wasn't allowed to hold my guitar up to the chocolate fountain. A shame.

A wide selection of meats, dishes, and seafood. Everything is well prepared.

The squid and half of my seafood were raw, but I still had to pay extra for what I hadn't eaten because it was inedible. The staff weren't even friendly; for the price, I expected a bit better.

The buffet is no longer recommended. Dirty table. Rude staff. One less guest.

The buffet is very good. There's really nothing to complain about. A wide selection, and much of it is freshly cooked. The atmosphere is spacious and not noisy.

Unfortunately, it was an extremely unpleasant experience—primarily due to the behavior of the staff. The man who served us today (apparently the head waiter) was extremely arrogant. He never looked us in the eye, was unfriendly, and irritated, especially when he tried to force a more expensive menu or a "special offer" on us. After we politely declined, he reacted with visible displeasure, snorted, shook his head, and pointedly walked away. When paying, there was neither a "good day" nor a "goodbye"—no trace of politeness or respect. Instead, he wore a disgusted expression, which certainly doesn't make a guest feel good. The food was average—nothing special compared to other restaurants. But the service was by far the worst we've ever experienced. We're deliberately leaving this feedback for you to discuss with your staff. This is a way to lose your guests—and rightly so.

It's always really good here. And there's something for every taste. The seafood, in particular, tastes very fresh. I didn't particularly like some of the meat (but that's probably a matter of taste). They also have a good selection of drinks. The coffee (espresso), however, is of poor quality.

When I about to pay,the male Chinese waiter asked directly how much for the tips,after I said no tips,he was shocked and got pissed, horrible attitude and experience!

We went to the dinner buffet at the Golden Phönix on Pfalzburger Straße this evening. During the live cooking, the chef and a member of staff were sitting at a table, having a heated and loud argument in Chinese. Suddenly, the two of them stood up, shoved and hit each other, threw plates and food, and other employees intervened. The shouting lasted at least 20 minutes. None of the guests had any appetite, but they still charged us, with no apology. As a guest, we were just afraid the situation would escalate further. A fellow guest made a video about it and posted it on TikTok. In the end, everyone left because they felt unsafe and uncomfortable. The food was okay, but the ice cream wasn't fresh and had already thawed. The salad bar is minimalist.

Very disappointing and absolutely not recommended! The food was extremely salty and inedible. Even worse: My two children and we adults suffered severe vomiting and nausea afterward – a nightmare for the whole family. Something like that should never happen in a restaurant! It made for a very bad weekend and we urgently want to warn others.

I visited Bremen for a weekend getaway, and my relative brought me to this restaurant. There was a great variety of dishes, and everything we tried was delicious. We arrived right when the restaurant opened, and within just a few minutes it was already packed with customers — a clear sign of how popular it is.

A top-notch restaurant that truly deserves the title of culinary experience. Always happy to return for the all-you-can-eat menu.

I was super shocked today when I went with my partner for the Buffet. The waiter who worked there was yelling at me cuz he didn’t understand me. Extremely unfriendly peope. I don’t recommend to go. Better go to the one next to the airport. Also it’s cheaper.

The food was really good and the selection was extensive—nothing to complain about here. Unfortunately, the positive impression was completely spoiled by the drinks and the service. Drinks weren't chilled, the Coke from the dispenser was still carbonated, and we had to watch as various Coke bottles were poured together. I find that unhygienic. The situation when paying was also very unpleasant: The waitress practically insisted on a tip and even tried to start an argument when we refused. That's completely unacceptable for me. It's a shame, the restaurant has real potential with the food, but the service and drinks desperately need work.

However, when paying, a questionable situation arises: You're either brazenly asked to tip, or it's automatically included in the price. For example, I was supposed to pay €23.99, but in the end, it suddenly turned out to be €25.99. What exactly this surcharge is for is completely unclear—after all, you serve yourself. The food is delicious, but this brazenness and the lack of transparency regarding payment spoil the entire experience.

We've been here several times, and the food at the buffet has been regularly checked and restocked. The usual dishes like duck, breaded chicken breast, etc. have always tasted good. There's usually no waiting time. The live cooking is also quick, and the selection of fresh ingredients is generous. The produce is fresh, and there's everything from lamb chops to frog legs to venison, plus a selection of fresh fish and vegetables. They recently introduced a drinks package, which is very worthwhile if you're very thirsty. We'll definitely be back!

The food is fresh and quickly replenished at the buffet. With freshly cooked/fried food, it depends on the number of plates on the table; the more, the cooler it will be, as it's collected on a trolley and served together. If, for example, three dishes are served at the same time, the food arrives piping hot at the table. The ambiance is typically Chinese. The staff is very nice. It's hard to understand, though; they push chairs back and forth (very loudly) instead of lifting them. While cleaning the kitchen (just before closing time), we smoked in the kitchen, which is why they only gave it one star.

The waitress was a bit unfriendly when she told us about the new drinks package. I don't think it's okay that there are no alcoholic drinks included and you have to pay half the price of the alcoholic drink for them. Then the drinks package doesn't make any sense at all. The roast duck was completely dry, and the quality of the buffet has deteriorated considerably. We probably won't go there again.

Large restaurant with plenty of seating for small and large groups. The all-you-can-eat buffet on Saturday evening costs €23.90. With a drinks package, it's €30. The selection was good. Most of it was fresh, as is typical for a buffet. Empty plates were quickly refilled. My only criticism here is of the guests who indulge in food waste on a massive scale. One can only hope that the €10-15 fines are enforced in the restaurant.

Everything went pretty well, the food was really good, but after 30 minutes there, the waiter started pulling us out of the restaurant, asking every 5 minutes if we were ready and needing a table. A truly terrible experience.

Despite being the buffet that most lives up to its name, the service is 100% appalling. We'd been eating for about 40 minutes when the waiter started kicking us out, returning every 5 minutes to repeat the same thing. In short, the service is TERRIBLE.

It was so loud, we couldn't even talk. I stood there for about 7-8 minutes until someone from the staff came. The food also tasted kind of weird, and the sushi was disgusting. I'll never come here again.

We were there today for the first time since the renovations. Last time, the service was very unfriendly, and the food was so-so. Today we were pleasantly surprised. Our server was friendly, attentive, and helpful. And the food was delicious, with something for every taste. Okay, I can do without the frog legs. The new pricing concept is a success. We will definitely be back.

The food was delicious. We had the all-you-can-eat and drink option, and it was great. Granini juices, Coke, Fanta, water, many other juices, and various types of coffee. The food was regularly refilled. The staff was very friendly. The ambiance is typical. However, it's very loud because the Golden Phoenix is very large. The selection is very extensive. The value for money was more than reasonable.

21 EUR during happy hour 13-15.00. An interesting experience

The food wasn't terrible, but by 9 p.m. there was nothing left. Fresh meat wasn't cooked thoroughly.

Unfortunately, today was a very disappointing evening. There were three of us there, and we were all equally disappointed. We arrived at 7 p.m., and the food on offer seemed to have been under the heat lamp for a while. Apparently, the lamp wasn't on full power, because the food was cold and the rice was dried out. Some of the food didn't look appetizing, so I only ate a small portion. I couldn't have eaten more, even though I'm not particularly picky. The service wasn't particularly friendly, let alone present. It seemed to me that we shouldn't have stayed there long, because they weren't refilling anything fresh. We paid €76 for three people, including water, Fanta, and a small beer. The price would be justified with good food, ambiance, and service staff with a smile, but none of that was missing today. We won't try again. I told the server what we experienced today, which he apparently wasn't interested in. Sorry, but I can only say it unfiltered.

We were there for the very first time today and were completely disappointed. The food tasted absolutely nothing. It was either cold or lukewarm. It tasted of nothing or like water. The soy sauce was diluted with water. The live cocking was a disaster. It wasn't cooked through and once again had no flavor. The man who served us was very friendly, but nothing more. Not again.

The price/performance ratio is more than justified. Super tasty and the atmosphere is lovely.

The price has gone up to €14.90, with a drinks package of €20.90. Unfortunately, we won't be back. (a year ago) I spontaneously stopped by for lunch with my daughter for the lunch buffet for €12.90. It was quite busy; we had a table by the window. The selection was really sufficient: scampi, mussels, fish, duck, chicken, etc. Fried noodles, rice, all fresh and hot and quickly refilled. They also had sushi. A large dessert selection. There was nothing to complain about; the price-performance ratio was top-notch 👍🏻. We'd be happy to come back. The only annoying thing was the "noisy" children who were apparently free to do whatever they wanted. Perhaps parents should be made aware of this if they don't respond.

The service was inattentive and unfriendly. Normally, you're asked halfway through if you'd like another drink. Not here. Some of the food was dried out or tough. The only good food was the fried option. The cocktails looked very artificial.

It was our first time there. We like to try out restaurants, but the staff here were a bit annoyed when we made ourselves known and had to be explained to us how things work there, as you get wristbands that recognize you as a guest. I like peanut sauce with my meals, but unfortunately it was too salty. Everything else was OK. However, we won't be visiting this restaurant again and it won't be on our wish list.

This is the second time I've decided to come here to give it a try, but once again I've been disappointed. The food was cold, service was average, and the plates and glasses were used. The meat was practically raw and inedible. The pasta stank, the fish was slimy and just as inedible. I spent €61.80 for two people just to try four things and feel disgusted. We decided to leave after half an hour because we felt sick and the food was inedible! The only good thing was that the drinks were cold. The coffee tasted just as bad as everything else! Not recommended. Never again!

We were there recently at 9:25 p.m. and asked if we could get some more food. The waiter said it wasn't a problem, but the buffet wasn't being restocked much anymore, as the kitchen closes at 10 p.m. According to the door, the restaurant is open until 11 p.m. We agreed, and after we'd just finished our first plate, a waiter came over at around 9:35 p.m. and, while handing out drinks, told us to hurry up and get something else because they were clearing the buffet. While we and two other tables were still eating, everything was frantically cleared from the buffet and they started cleaning the dining room floor. When I went to the restroom after dinner, I found the conditions were appalling. There had been a Werder Bremen game earlier, but if there are hardly any customers left, they should clean the restrooms instead of taking away the dining room and buffet first. We won't be coming back.

We used to love eating there, but this time it was a real disgrace. The taste was weak, unlike before. After complaining, we were asked to leave and not come back. There were four of us, and 116 offered us a €20 discount. Reluctantly, they accepted €20 per person. Was it worth it? No! Not again.

This was our second time there for lunch – unlike the first time, the buffet was generally still nice and warm to enjoy. Apparently, the chaffing dishes aren't heated, or barely heated. The food cools down after a relatively short time. However, it's consistently very tasty and well-prepared. The service is good and fast. Drinks arrived promptly, and used plates were cleared away quickly. The negative behavior of guests and their children isn't addressed well. How else can it be that the "little ones" "slap" clean plates with their greasy fingers and palms – not tasty – and then the waiters don't even clear them away. The prices are good for lunch – it would just be nice if the food was kept hot, or at least warm enough. Given the current situation, we will refrain from enjoying the buffet in the evening.

I was not impressed, the food was cold and I did not like everything, it is actually rare. It is a shame but cold food is not okay and it has to be like that until the end.

I came home sick because the fried food made me sick. I vomited twice and I'm still sick. The oil was old and rancid. The selection is poor, and the overall quality of the food is really poor.

I was there with a somewhat larger group. We had to decide as a group whether we all wanted to buy a drinks package or not. We couldn't decide individually whether we wanted a package. The food was far too greasy and oversalted. The selection, however, was very good.

First, the positives. The ambiance and decor It was quite nice, as you'd expect from an Asian restaurant. However, a little less nice compared to others we've visited. There was a padded children's corner where our son (17 months) could play. However, there were only soft, head-sized dice to play with, that's all. Service We were here in the evening (around 8 p.m.), and I had specifically called ahead to see if it was still worth it and if they were restocking. This only happened after asking... but the staff were quite friendly and helpful. Now for the negatives! The food... Well, what can I say? The buffet was... okay... but the grill was a disaster! In the area with the fresh food, which should have been refrigerated, the ice on which the food was "sitting" had completely melted, so the food was swimming in water like fish and meat instead of being on ice... that really spoiled my appetite! The sauces were also rather uninspiring... And the sushi 🍣 looked rather unappetizing too. The rest of the buffet was okay.

Was in Bremen for work and we discovered this place by pure luck. They have a big variety of foods that you can just take from the buffet and some that you have to request. But all of it was quite tasty and we definitely got our money worth. Will definitely go there again should I happen to visit Bremen once more.

Went there for lunch today, service was terrible, you had to run behind to order something to drink! You won't be asked if you want to order anything else. Tables are not cleared, service is only available with cell phones or with Chinese guests. Never come back. You are still accused of not having time even though you were there from 12:00-2:40. Just sitting around without drinks is no fun.

Worst restaurant EVER!!! DO NOT GO unless you want to be treated badly!! I went to this restaurant today with my 68 year old mom. She has not been feeling well so this meal was supposed to be a treat for her and we had the buffet lunch. The food itself was average but the service was absolutely TERRIBLE!! We got our food, sat down and then a tall angry looking Asian female waitress came over to take our drink order. I ordered a 1L bottle of coca cola and 1 large PINT (in a tall glass) of alcohol free beer for my mom. The woman came back with a small BOTTLE of beer (not what we asked for) and then started SHOUTING at my mom when she told her this wasn’t the drink she asked for. How can you shout at an elderly woman? This is unacceptable behaviour !!! I was so angry that I wanted to leave immediately but my mom wanted to stay to finish the meal but I lost my appetite and we left shortly after. You absolutely RUINED my special day with my mom with your nasty attitude! I DO NOT recommend this restaurant at all and will NEVER come back again!! The waitress is VERY rude, aggressive and should NOT be working with customers. I have seen ALOT of other reviews on this place and they don’t seem to care that their staff is rude, angry & mean as long as they can grab your money. I would give ZERO if I could - AVOID THIS PLACE!!

On public holidays the price is €25 + €4 drink. But the food was mostly empty and nothing would be refilled for a long time. 2 small pieces of duck that were totally dry, noodles empty, rice empty and only refilled 20 minutes later. Cheapest ice cream that doesn't even taste like chocolate and has ice crystals in it.

I ordered food and it needs to be picked up at 3:00 p.m. At this point, the employee had already taken all the food, another employee came and rudely replied to us: "Please stick to the schedule and explain to the employees how to work and talk to people."

Seriously disappointed, we won't be coming back. negative from my point of view: -In my opinion, the finished dishes were only lukewarm or partly cold - Ready-made dishes were relatively tasteless, even peanuts or sweet and sour sauce were very bland - the fried/baked things were very dry - too little selection of vegetables for Mongolian live cooking (there were no carrot strips, no fresh ginger, no broccoli, no spinach, no bean sprouts, etc.) - The meat was cut too thick, even the chicken breast was tough and unfortunately not edible -Music seemed relatively loud and therefore disturbing positive: -Service was friendly -Corona conditions complied with - Dessert/ice cream bar were delicious - "Garlic sauce" & the freshly fried vegetables (although there was little choice) were delicious Conclusion: There are much better restaurants of this type, unfortunately disappointing. Very disappointing! The glasses were dirty and when we complained it was simply ignored. The waitress was rude and not helpful at all. The wine was brought without an opener and when we asked for the receipt it was not given to us. I've never experienced anything like this in a restaurant. Never again!

The service is very bad. The way I got treated is very bad. I feel like they showed the difference. We are four persons, went for buffet and the colleagues working there treated us like slaves. We want to sit on the round table and the working person told us in a impolite way not to sit. Later, when we are eating, service is bad. Overall rating zero but I can not give zero, hence giving 1. If you want respect, I suggest strongly DON‘T GO!!

We just left this restaurant for lunch. It's not our first time here. But today the service was terrible. Especially at the end, the man (whom we asked to pay) came in doing calculations by hand. It took him a long time to come back, and when he did, he started yelling and swearing at us to get us to pay because he's in a hurry and has a lot of work to do. Excuse me? It took you 30 minutes to bring water, which we had to ask for three times, and on top of that, at the end, he yells and swears "because he's in a hurry." If you don't like your job or customer service, don't work here! You have to be polite.

The food was almost cold and the service was unfriendly. There were a lot of families with children there, some of them were running around the restaurant the whole time and nothing was said to them by the waitress. (I have nothing against children because I work in the educational field, I also know that children don't sit still all the time). Even when an adult sat a child with his knees on the counter during dessert, several waitresses said nothing. I don't even want to talk about the toilets, the floor was sticky and there were no towels either.

We were there at 7:00 p.m. The food was practically empty. They had hardly replenished the leftover food. What was left in the buffet was cold. Some people were squeezing their hands because the meat looked stale. Once there, never again, I wouldn't recommend it.
