We wanted to give the Kaiserpalast a second chance after a year. Unfortunately, we were disappointed again. The buffet was a haphazard, uninspired affair. I don't need fried potatoes, scrambled eggs, tiramisu, etc., at an Asian buffet. The advertised live cooking was also disappointing; the shrimp and meat were overcooked. Sorry, it was a complete flop. The service, however, was very friendly and efficient! Thank you.

We ate at the Kaiserpalast earlier this month. The buffet wasn't very varied considering the price. What I liked least was the staff's attitude; they either didn't answer our questions or gave irrelevant answers. I wouldn't recommend eating there, especially for those who eat halal.

The price and quality are okay, but since it's a buffet, the food can sometimes be a bit stale. Preparing one dish separately took a little too long. Unfortunately, the dishes don't specify whether they are spicy or sweet/sour, etc. That's why it doesn't get 5 stars. Otherwise, it's recommended.

The food was okay, with a few exceptions, but unfortunately always lukewarm, if at all, almost cold. Table service was good, but one woman constantly watched us, whether at the table or when we were getting our food; it made us feel a bit uncomfortable. The ambiance is okay, and the premises are spacious.

We only go there once a week at the moment. I absolutely cannot understand the negative reviews. The staff is always friendly and the food is absolutely fantastic. I've never had any stomach problems or anything like that. And as for the supposedly unfriendly service, just ask yourselves how you should behave.

I've been there twice with a friend, and everything was wonderful in the evenings. But yesterday at lunchtime, the food tasted very rancid. My friend couldn't get off the toilet, and it's still going on this morning. Everything was fine except for the food. I wasn't feeling well at all; I was extremely stuffed and very thirsty. My friend had it even worse—severe stomach cramps with diarrhea and nausea. Very disappointing. Never again.

I was at the Kaiser Palast today, Tuesday. The food, staff, and atmosphere were all good. I'd be happy to eat there again if it works out.

Great Sunday on October 5, 2025 at Weserpark, followed by a delicious meal. Delicious, yes, BUT unfortunately, this is the third time that they've been/are simply WAY too late to refill the tray! You're supposed to pay if food is left unfilled, which is absolutely fine, but guys, the cauliflower was raw 😶 and the hollandaise? - looked like the water from the stirrer. The service is superb, friendly, fast, fantastic! 5 people at sushi, sushi empty... Sure, you don't want to waste anything or anything, but the parking lot is full, inside too, of course, and then this... 😏 I'll check back in a few months... You should give opportunities, until then, happy creating...

2024 I'm rarely here, but when I am, I really enjoy the food. They have special plates with children's motifs for children. Update 2025: The food isn't as tasty as it was in 2024. Some of the dishes were already dry and hard.

If you want to eat a lot quickly, this is definitely the right place. I wanted to enjoy Chinese cuisine, but unfortunately, that wasn't possible. The vegetables and fruit were limp and dried out on the plates, and the meat looked quite tasty. The dishes were drenched in indefinable sauces. The fried dishes tasted of oil. Everything was designed for a quick business. Personally, I want enjoyment through herbs/spices, and I love it when the food is prepared deliciously. That's important to me! These criteria were absolutely not met.

The buffet was delicious. The wine was also top-notch. I had the meat and fish freshly cooked. I'll be back.

Visited on September 13, 2025, at lunchtime. It was very crowded (a tour bus was in front of the door) and accordingly loud. If there was music, it was inaudible. We waited briefly at the reception desk and then were gestured to sit down somewhere. One minute after choosing our seats, we were able to order. We opted for the buffet. There was nothing special there. The sushi was good, even without a large selection. The dishes were replenished until about 2:15 p.m., then we were told it was better to leave. We won't be going back.

It's always worth visiting this—and other—Chinese restaurants. Affordable prices, friendly staff, and excellent food!

A disaster. I don't recommend it. I've been to many restaurants like this, but I've never seen such a small buffet... 30 euros with a cola. That's WAY TOO MUCH. Half of it was almost empty. Honestly, stay away from this place.

So I went out to eat with friends today. Let's start with the sushi. The sushi was dry and tasted really strongly of rice and vinegar. The vanilla sauce tasted more like water than vanilla. There were hard pieces in the chicken strips that you had to fish out of your mouth. The cheese balls - the cheese inside was dried out, so it wasn't very creamy, and for that it cost almost €30. I think I'm crazy, for €30 I want such a delicious, juicy meal and not food that's been sitting there for five hours and everything is dried out. The waitress is very nice but I can't use the card reader. There's something on it and she overlooks it and says it doesn't work, doesn't work, no, it said take out card, you don't have to put a card in. You have to take out a card. So please make the food better or close. I didn't leave a tip. Plus, one of my friends is already feeling sick from the food and we only ate half an hour ago, so that's not a good sign. So if you like the food, go there, but if you've never eaten there, don't go. It doesn't taste good. Best regards

Hello, I just need to get something off my chest. We were there last night and chose meat to fry from the buffet. The meat wasn't even cooked through and we had put it on a plate to throw away. Then the waitress came over and said we should pay extra for the plate because the boss doesn't want people throwing things away. We also had watermelon, and she said who would eat the green part since they always use it for cooking. There was also a hair in the watermelon. In my opinion, they shouldn't open a buffet there if they treat their customers like that. I've never experienced anything like it anywhere.... The last time we were there... it was so unfriendly.... and the buffet was completely cold....

Good food, fast service. The food is very tasty. Friendly staff.

We were at the table on the left in the restaurant on August 16th at lunch. Two adults and a child. We ate. The child brought his own bottle of water. We didn't drink anything. The waiter said the child wasn't allowed to drink his own water. Our prices are cheaper than elsewhere, so you can't drink your own water. We replied, "Okay, the child isn't drinking, but the prices are normal, not cheap." And in other restaurants, children are allowed to drink their own water because they're children. The waiter replied that they should go to other restaurants. After such a request, I don't want to visit this restaurant anymore. Although we used to come here every few months. Management, pay attention to what your waiters say.

Everything was great. It's not just the really bitter sauces that make it impossible. We went for the first time and can't wait to go back.

So, I went out to dinner with my family today, and the food was absolutely delicious. I wanted to say, always, and the staff was very nice and friendly.

Delicious food, lots of choices, and the price was great. You won't find better value for money. Highly recommended. Also handy if you're on the go. Just keep in mind the time slots you can eat. Highly recommended.

I personally really enjoyed it and would definitely go back. The food was delicious and freshly prepared, with plenty of choice and something for every taste.

Good help if you're passing through the area and there's nothing else open. Fresh produce but a lot of industrial products, especially for desserts. The all-you-can-eat buffet on Sundays is €25 without drinks. One of the waiters told us we're in Germany and they only speak German here! We only spoke English; we're on a tourist trip!

The food was okay, but the service left a lot to be desired. The employee at the counter was very rude and responded to questions in an annoyed manner, as if one were being a nuisance. Overall, one felt unwelcome as a guest. Friendliness should be a given in the restaurant industry – unfortunately, the opposite was the case here. We definitely won't be returning.

This was our first time there, and we have to say we really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was very nice and quiet. The food was excellent. We've known a few places like this, but it's never been as delicious as this one. The servers were very friendly. We'll be back.

The food is very greasy. Lots of meat and few vegetarian options. The food is mostly lukewarm. But the service was incredibly friendly, funny, and attentive. But I won't be coming back just for the good service. There's still plenty of room for improvement in the food department.

This was our second time at the buffet in the restaurant and we were disappointed again. The food was okay but it was rarely refilled. The fresh food, which was freshly prepared, such as fish, meat and poultry, only came with two tongs for placing it on the plate. But what is really unacceptable is the staff and the service. You don't feel wanted as a guest. You are watched until you finally leave. After paying, our drink was not brought to us; instead, after asking several times, the tray was simply slammed down on the table without a comment. It was just before closing time and the staff suddenly became very unfriendly. We will definitely not eat at this restaurant again. At these prices I want to feel welcome as a guest and not like an intrusion.

The food was very good. There's always plenty available. Unfortunately, around break time or after work, the waiters become very unfriendly; this isn't the first time this has happened... a real shame. Considering how much money you leave there plus tips 🤔

One star is still too many, just because my father ate two ice cream cones from the buffet. Charging 3.5 for that is outrageous. The arrogance is beyond compare. The entire buffet was... Please report the store.

The taste was okay, but the way we were treated as customers was truly disappointing. The buffet had a very large selection. Displays were quickly replenished. The Mongolian buffet is highly recommended. The service quickly cleared away empty plates. Everything seemed very clean.

The bad rating refers to a too good to go order or pickup. I have rarely experienced anything as unfriendly as today. We felt very uncomfortable, almost as if we were being given a handout. It was unmistakable that we weren't wanted and then they could take some of the leftover food. To be honest, you shouldn't offer something like that.

Absolutely NO recommendation! To eat: The selection is rather limited compared to other buffets of this type. On the grill you mark which sauce you want using colored markers. However, we had the feeling that no sauce was added... I had Mongolian sauce and had neither the taste nor the usual spiciness.. the rest of the buffet, at least what I tried, was tough and tasteless.. About the staff: Unfriendly and if they don't understand you they just speak their language... as if I understand them better?! They didn't even ask if everything tasted good.

Overall: OK But the overall grade is only satisfactory. Choice, if it is or would be refilled: good. The taste of the live cooking was great. The finished dishes were ok. That depends on your own taste! Unfortunately the service was a bit poor due to the large number of guests, but the staff was still very friendly! Cleanliness ok, parking spaces in front of the house.

I had reserved 2 bags and there were 3 or 4 people besides me and there wasn't even that much available. I think they're just doing it because of the money instead of thinking that it's going in the trash because, as I said, I had reserved it for 2 people and I gave one back completely empty. I asked for the money to be given back. They said it was their own fault, you have to be quicker even though there was nothing to take and I only had mushrooms in there, nothing else there I accept that I took the 4€, but I can't accept the other 4€ because I didn't get anything. I ask for a quick clarification because they don't deserve to rip people off and give the money back in your place. I wouldn't work with them at all, so many complain and they definitely don't report, disgusting people just say disrespect to workers, they also get the 4€ nod and if they don't take more they walk out, how disgusting can you be "

We tried the Mongolian buffet there. You could choose what you wanted, one or more sauces of your choice and watch life cooking. There was also a huge buffet selection from the “normal” buffet. Nice service. Price/performance very good. Gladly again.

The Kaiser Palast is by far the best Asian restaurant I have visited in Bremen! I've been to many Asian restaurants, but everything here is just perfect. The food is always fresh, excellently prepared and tastes great. I was particularly impressed by the friendly and attentive service - the employees are extremely polite and hospitable. My wife, my sons and I come regularly and always sit at table number 45. We look forward to our visit every time. A really great restaurant that I can recommend to everyone!”

We were at table 1 today and can't complain. Were there at 5:30 p.m. and everything was clean and we were given a very friendly welcome and pointed out that it would get full later and that the fresh meat would take a little longer to be fried. Our waiter was 5 star plus!. Was always there, used plates were picked up immediately, drinks were delivered super quickly and this friendliness was indescribable. Thank you for the super friendly service, thank you for the great food and thank you for the price. Were there with 3 people for more than 2 hours. About €25 for the food and then the drinks extra! 103 euros for this quality for 3 people is not too much. We'd love to come back because it was really an experience. Thank you and keep it up.

We were here for the lunch buffet. I can only recommend this place, very tasty food, nice, courteous service. What I didn't like so much was the loud, open atmosphere and the fact that some of the food was only lukewarm. Which of course depends on many factors.

Everything fine! Unfortunately, there are frog legs that are banned in the EU but, illogically, can always be imported. Please don't eat, just complain to everyone, then only then will they be abolished at some point!

For a quick buffet meal, absolutely fine. Beef meat is sometimes very tough, chicken is often fried too greasy. Only a little pork is offered, perfect. Service is quick, often difficult to understand. Reservations online without any problems, there are enough parking spaces. A play area for kids is urgently needed.

I went to the restaurant for a buffet dinner with friends on a Saturday evening. The quality of the food was rather inferior. Honey-colored syrup is identified as honey in the buffet, cocoa-containing fat glaze (presumably made with palm fat) splashes in the chocolate fountain. The highlight is the grill buffet, where there was only one pair of tongs for poultry, beef and fish. The fact that a large part of the food consists of ready-made products is almost bearable. The sushi is more likely to be understood as a declaration of war on Japan... The service was attentive and nice. The ambience is nothing special, it has a bit of the charm of a canteen, the room is large, which unfortunately doesn't make for a pleasant noise level. Conclusion: Anyone who has always wanted to browse through the range of an Asian wholesaler and doesn't want to use three deep fryers at the same time is in good hands here.

Previously in Embsen. We were very happy with that too. Since Kaiser Palast was in Bremen, we have been there almost every Saturday. Table is automatically reserved and drinks are ready when we come in. They are very friendly, always have time to talk and joke. It's busier on Saturday, and of course they have to work more, but then you can still have a conversation. Thumbs up and thank you very much. LG from the Vlichen Hollander.

Great buffet with lots to choose from and even including live cooking, sushi and desserts. Food tasted fresh. The staff was friendly and very attentive. Reasonable prices. Good atmosphere. Car charger available around the corner.

The floor in the back right corner where we have containers was smeared with something and was therefore quite slippery. But I would still like to come back.

We tried the lunch buffet for €12. The store is huge, the staff is quick. When it comes to food I would say 'average' and unfortunately everything was a bit cold. If you want quick, lots of fried food, you'll find it here - Mc-es in Chinese, so to speak. The price is now 14€ and the quality is decreasing. Quantity is everything. The meat can be tough or gristly, but the service is still super fast.
