Restaurant "Goethestube" in Wuppertal

We received a very friendly welcome with our dog and were escorted to the rustic restaurant. The atmosphere is very cozy, the food is delicious and plentiful. The staff are attentive and extremely friendly. It was a successful visit to the restaurant

We ate with 5 people in the Goethestuben on Monday evening and everything was great. We all really enjoyed the food, the winter garden is wonderfully cozy and the staff were courteous, friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back...Thank you!!! !

Great restaurant with a great view and top service. Despite the kitchen being closed, I was served a delicious potato soup with crispy fried bacon and freshly baked baguette, so that I can get back to Mettmann on the MTB without feeling hungry!

Food was more run-of-the-mill style. Sauce from a fix sauce manufacturer, schnitzel fried in the deep fryer, fried potatoes were very good. Service very quick and very friendly!

One waitress serving the entire restaurant, took 30 minutes for her to take our drinking order. Food was okay, big portions but nothing special.

Understand German very poorly Staff extremely keen to squeeze in Waiting time of 1.5 hours even though only 4 tables were occupied. Portion tiny for the price

We have now been sitting in the restaurant for 1.5 hours. We were able to place an order after just 45 minutes and we just got our first drinks! There are five of us here and we are excited to see what happens next. It will stay with this one visit!

A nice atmosphere. The entire team is very young and very hard working. Our dog and we were very welcome. Unfortunately, the food is cooked with a lot of finished products. Today it is no longer necessary to cook cheaply because the prices are too high. The meat was well prepared and then a sauce was poured over it. Too bad! I'm always happy to pay more for well-prepared food. I would give a maximum of three stars for this.
