Schon paar mal hier gewesen, immer sehr lecker aber heute leider ein riesen unterschied, kaum genießbar und in jeglicher Hinsicht wesentlich schlechter als sonst… als ob ein neuer Koch da wäre. Leider sehr enttäuschend

Wir haben bei schönem Wetter draußen gesessen . Das Ambiente ist schön, der Service war sehr aufmerksam und nett . Das Essen war sehr lecker . Abzug gibt es für die Portionsgrösse. Der Salat mit Feta kostete 17 Euro ( !) und die Menge an Salat war dafür definitiv zu klein . Es gab wirklich lediglich eine Handvoll Blattsalat , 3 Oliven , ein paar Stücke Gurke und von einem dünnen Feta Quadrat , vielleicht max die Hälfte

Ich war begeistert erste Mal war ich dort

Wir hatten vier leckere Speisen. Das Essen kam sehr schnell. Der Laden war nicht voll, aber leider hat die Bedienung es nicht geschafft uns regelmäßig mit Getränken zu versorgen. Das war der einzige Kritikpunkt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Gestern waren wir im 7 Gründe Restobar in Wuppertal essen und insgesamt hatten wir einen wirklich schönen Abend. Das Restaurant überzeugt mit einem modernen, gemütlichen Ambiente und einer vielseitigen Speisekarte, die von Sushi und asiatischen Gerichten bis hin zu klassischen Speisen wie Wiener Schnitzel reicht. Genau diese Mischung macht den besonderen Reiz des Restaurants aus. Als Vorspeise hatten wir das Thunfisch-Tatar, das geschmacklich wirklich hervorragend war. Der Thunfisch war frisch, aromatisch und schön abgestimmt. Lediglich das Verhältnis hätte für unseren Geschmack etwas ausgewogener sein können – etwas mehr Thunfisch und dafür etwas weniger Reis wären perfekt gewesen. Trotzdem eine sehr leckere Vorspeise, die optisch ebenfalls toll angerichtet war. Als Hauptgericht entschieden wir uns für das Wiener Schnitzel – und das war einfach wundervoll. Außen herrlich knusprig, innen zart und saftig, dazu passende Beilagen und insgesamt ein Gericht, das absolut überzeugt hat. Man merkt, dass hier Wert auf Qualität gelegt wird. Das Schnitzel gehört definitiv zu den Highlights der Karte. Eine Karte, die schon ein wenig gewöhnungsbedürftig ist... ein "gute" Mix aus Dies und Das. Der Service war freundlich, locker und insgesamt angenehm. Man wurde herzlich empfangen und während des Essens gut betreut. Einen kleinen Punkt Abzug gibt es allerdings beim Service nach dem Hauptgang: Wir saßen noch etwa eine halbe Stunde entspannt im Gespräch zusammen, wurden in dieser Zeit jedoch leider nicht mehr gefragt, ob wir noch etwas trinken möchten oder einen Dessertwunsch haben. Das war etwas schade, weil der Abend ansonsten wirklich rund war. Allerdings hatten wir nicht den Eindruck von Desinteresse, sondern eher davon, dass es schlicht untergegangen ist. Positiv hervorzuheben ist außerdem die Atmosphäre des Restaurants. Es ist ein sehr gemütliche Ambiente. Mein Fazit: Sehr gutes Essen, tolles Ambiente und grundsätzlich freundlicher Service. Kleine Schwächen beim letzten Servicekontakt ändern nichts daran, dass wir gerne wiederkommen werden – denn geschmacklich hat uns das 7 Gründe absolut überzeugt.

Geburtstag gefeiert und war begeistert.Freundliches und aufmerksames Personal,sehr gutes Essen und das Ambiente des Restaurants spricht für sich.Haben dort ca.4Stunden verbracht und ich kann es uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Vielen lieben Dank nochmal, für den netten Service,der für mich sogar noch Happy Birthday gesungen und mir ein Eis gebracht hat,auf Kosten des Hauses.

Ich war heute mit einer Freundin hier essen. Anstatt Schweineschnitzel wurde uns Hähnchenschnitzel serviert, ungewürzt und ungenießbar. Als wir die Bedienung darauf hinwiesen, wurde sie nur pampig. Nicht zu empfehlen.

Wir waren heute das dritte Mal dort. Bisher hat uns das gemütliche Ambiente und das gute Essen (wenn auch preislich im oberen Bereich) gelockt. Jedoch hat uns von Anfang die Bedienung "gestört". Man wartet ewig (ich rede nicht davon,wenn der Laden voll ist!) bis man bedient wird. Man wird NIE gefragt, ob man noch etwas trinken möchte, und erst nach dreimaliger Erinnerung erhält man die Rechnung. Für uns ein No Go ist allerdings der Kellner älteres Semester. Wir haben Humor aber die Scherze sind teilweise sehr unverschämt. Beim Abschied wird einem nicht mal ein schönen Abend gewünscht. Wir kommen nun erstmal nicht mehr her.

Gründe in Wuppertal besucht und war leider sehr enttäuscht, insbesondere da man aufgrund der Verbindung zum Restaurant Essenz eine deutlich höhere Qualität erwartet hätte. ​Hier sind die Punkte, die zu meiner negativen Bewertung führen: ​Qualität der Speisen: Ich bestellte den veganen Gemüsebratling. Leider entpuppte sich dieser als offensichtliches Convenience-Tiefkühlprodukt, das geschmacklich und optisch eins zu eins im Lebensmittel Einzelhandel zu finden ist. Für ein Restaurant mit diesem Anspruch ist das sehr schwach. ​Preis-Leistung: Für diesen Bratling und eine sehr überschaubare Portion wurden 18,50 € aufgerufen. Das steht in keinem Verhältnis zur gelieferten Qualität oder dem Wareneinsatz. ​Beilagen & Service: Die Pommes frites waren kaum gewürzt und wirkten recht lieblos. Zudem fehlten auf den Tischen Salz und Pfeffer, um selbst nachzubessern. ​Fazit: Der Teller war insgesamt sehr „überschaubar und nicht ansprechend “ und hinterließ leider keinen bleibenden positiven Eindruck – außer Frust über den hohen Preis. ​Fazit: Es ist wirklich traurig, dass ein Ableger der „Essenz“ auf solche Standard-Produkte zurückgreift. Die Bedienung war recht oberflächlich schon am Anfang reichte man mir nur die Speisekarte und auch keine Getränkekarte. Ein professioneller Service sollte Getränke- und Speisekarten idealerweise direkt zu Beginn überreichen. Ich kann das Restaurant aufgrund dieser Erfahrung leider nicht weiterempfehlen. Schade um den verpatzten Abend im Restaurant 7 Gründe in Wuppertal !

We had a very good meal and a very pleasant atmosphere... I had a delicious tuna and my wife had a very fine risotto with shrimp... everything was excellent. We'd love to come back again!

Unfortunately, the complete information wasn't available on their website. Asian fusion isn't an everyday dish. The rice served with the "tartar" was very hard; it was actually sushi "tartar." The salad wasn't tasty either; the sauces didn't go well with the dish. The cocktails shown in the pictures were also bad; the mixture of alcohol and syrup was incorrect, tasting like water with alcohol and a little syrup.

We eat here regularly. The staff really caters to our needs, as my wife has certain food intolerances, and they are always friendly. The food is consistently excellent, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. Bringing a dog is also no problem. Please keep up the good work!

A spontaneous trip to Wuppertal. For a starter, we had incredibly delicious sushi at Feine Creation. Afterwards, we had a burger – I can highly recommend them.

Centrally located, with terrace seating in the pedestrian zone during the summer. Pleasant ambiance, upscale atmosphere. Very friendly and attentive staff, large selection of dishes, good wines.

Small and unassuming from the outside, we were pleasantly surprised by the interior. The beef cheeks were divine – we'd love to come back! The vegetarian pumpkin ravioli was also a culinary delight. The restaurant is relatively large, but thanks to the sound absorbers in the ceiling, the noise level is very pleasant. We'll definitely be back.

In short: Highly recommended! Exceptionally good food and very friendly service. You feel very comfortable here. The seasonal menu is also highly recommended.

Very good service. My paprika schnitzel was okay, but nothing special. The fries were very pale, the paprika sauce quite heavy on the chervil and therefore a bit acidic. A little heavy cream, crème fraîche, or sour cream certainly wouldn't have hurt…

These days, if you want to eat in Wuppertal, you're usually limited to kebabs and chain restaurants. '7 Gründe' is a refreshing exception. After having eaten here several times for lunch at a very good price-performance ratio, we came back for dinner this time. We had salmon tartare as a starter and fried shrimp and a salmon bowl as main courses. Both were excellent 🤤 What's also striking is the very good service. Friendly, attentive, and noticeably, orders are taken without tablets or slips of paper. Where else do you find that? 🙏🏻 The atmosphere is just right, and even when the place is packed, you can easily have a conversation. The clientele is also pleasant 😌 We were very satisfied and highly recommend '7 Gründe' to every Wuppertal resident and visitor 👍🏻

I'm sitting here at 7 Gründe again, and what can I say... You can easily spend your money here, and as always, the food tasted really good. Maybe there could have been a little more of everything, but that's just nitpicking. Keep it up! :)

The restaurant is very cozy. The food is excellent in terms of both selection and quality – absolutely nothing to complain about. Unfortunately, the service during our visit was truly subpar. Even when our glasses were empty, no one proactively asked if we wanted to order more drinks. Furthermore, our order was sent to the kitchen late, so we ended up waiting over an hour for our food. Additionally, the internet connection in the restaurant seems to be so poor that card payments are sometimes difficult – this needs to be addressed.

Two out of four lunches were cold. The mushrooms on the mushroom cream schnitzel had grown excessively large. The mushroom cream sauce was as thin as water. Never again.

I was totally disappointed and will never go there again. The food was cold, without salad, and several other things. We had mushroom cream sauce on schnitzel. You practically had to search for the mushrooms. I complained. And then the bill was wrong too. They overcharged us. That's unacceptable. Never again.

I only visited this restaurant three times because so many people raved about it. Unfortunately, I can only say that it wasn't even that good. I ordered a medium steak, but it arrived raw and cold – not even rare! The second time was exactly the same. Sadly, even the cappuccino was bad 😢 and the price isn't justified. Well, they try to act fancy, but you know how it is, all show and no substance.

We always enjoy going here. Whether for lunch while shopping or for dinner: the food always tastes great.

We were there for a team dinner. Despite the usual pre-Christmas hustle and bustle, the food for 15 people arrived all at once. From Christmas cookies to risotto, there was something for everyone, and the quality of the dishes was consistently excellent! The service was also very efficient and we received a warm welcome. Next time we're in Wuppertal, 7 Gründe is a must-visit.

Sure, it's a bit more expensive, but you get truly excellent food and aren't disappointed. There were several of us, and everyone enjoyed their meals. The food was also beautifully presented. A fantastic lifestyle restaurant in the heart of Elberfeld City Center. Great, fresh food, beautifully prepared both visually and tastefully. Very friendly service with an eye for detail. The interior is beautifully designed. You can also sit outside; radiant heaters and glass walls make it more cozy. Highly recommended if you want to stop for a bite to eat after a day of shopping.

We were a larger group, and the food was okay. However, in my opinion, they use flavor enhancers, but that's almost always the case. But you shouldn't go hungry. The food took over an hour to arrive, and the waiter didn't offer a single apology or even a single notification. The service was somewhat businesslike; friendly service is more important than anything else. Even when the food finally arrived, the waiter, who was the only one serving outside, brought it to our tables one at a time. If the first person had waited until the last person had their food, it would have been cold. I can't say whether additional staff could have helped, as I couldn't see the interior. There are better restaurants in Wuppertal; I don't necessarily need to go back here.

Great shop, especially the staff is mostly really great. The prices are a bit on the high side, but totally reasonable considering the quality.

I reserved a table for six people. The staff member didn't want to know our names, the table wasn't set when we arrived, and we sat under unpleasant lighting. Only three menus arrived, nothing more. One meal was forgotten and never arrived. I asked three times for a spoon for my noodles, which took forever, and the food didn't represent the value for money (e.g., the bowl came with a small pile of extremely dry rice, there were far too few fries with the burgers, etc.). We went elsewhere for dessert and cocktails.

A pleasant bistro with a good selection of staff on our recent visits. A chic ambiance, but a rather small menu. The food is always delicious, so I definitely recommend it.

We've been to this restaurant many times with family and friends and always enjoy coming back. The food is consistently excellent, whether you choose sushi or savory dishes. I'm particularly fond of the veal schnitzel, which I order again and again. The ambiance is also wonderful and invites you to linger. The friendly staff perfectly rounds off every visit. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with our stay. The restaurant was recommended to us and we had high expectations. At the beginning we were only given a menu and asked for drinks. When I asked for a drinks card, I received an angry look and was given to me in annoyance... The others at the table were also given a card very reluctantly when I asked again. My food was forgotten and there was no excuse. When my food came, my friend first hit the plate on the head. There was no excuse for that either. Unfortunately, the service was absolutely subpar and there is a lot of room for improvement. (Specifically a waiter.) The atmosphere is very elegant and I really liked it. The chairs were very inconvenient for eating. The sides were very high so cutting was a bit difficult. For me personally, value for money wasn't there, I just expected more for my money at around €50 for a starter, main course and drink. I think it depends on the dish and there are certainly competent waiters who enjoy working, which is why I wouldn't generally say everything was bad. But I won't come back.

The food is okay, with both Eastern and Western options, but quite expensive. The service was extremely slow. After we finished eating, we waited for a long time to pay the bill but no one paid any attention to us. If you sit outside, you have to endure other people smoking, and there are a lot of small flying insects and pigeons, which seriously affects the dining experience.

Eating in the evening, the main course alone is not filling. Sunday buffet a big recommendation. But we were disruptive because we played Doppelkopf. They could have asked us in a friendly manner, but the waitress became aggressive. No more!

Good afternoon, we went to the restobar for lunch today. The atmosphere is very nice, you feel comfortable. The service is unobtrusively attentive and at a well-measured frequency! So far everything is correct... now on to the food. We both had the Caesar salad with chicken, when it's well made, always a very tasty meal. Classically prepared with romaine lettuce and the well-known dressing, you know what you're getting into. Unfortunately, here it's more of a mixed salad made from lettuce, tomatoes, etc. which has little or nothing to do with the original. The dressing wasn't seasoned enough for my taste, croutons in the form of slices were completely okay and different. The breaded chicken (possibly Pankow) was also good. Overall, I would advise declaring something different on the card because it creates a certain expectation. Other food at other tables looked good!

We've eaten here several times and always loved it. As of today there is a buffet on Sundays from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. And - what can I say - simply perfect! First of all, a 5* porcini mushroom soup, several starters to choose from and several main courses to choose from. Delicious! Also several desserts - delicious. The service was also perfect, very nice and competent. A clear recommendation from us!

We came here yesterday because of the positive reviews, but we had mixed feelings about whether it would be possible to deliver good quality with such a diverse menu. Conclusion: It can. The bao buns and cordon bleu were very good, the service friendly, and the cocktails we treated ourselves to afterward were also delicious. The place was lively, but at least yesterday it wasn't so loud that we had to shout at each other. Thank you very much, we'd be happy to come back.

The best restaurant for the whole family in Wuppertal. Probably the best sushi in town, and the quesadillas are truly delicious. Everything is top-quality, and young and old alike will be happy here.

There were 16 of us eating there today, 10 adults, 2 teenagers and 4 children. We ordered food and drink which was where the first negative point came into play. They only serve small bottles of lemonade or coke at a price of €3.20. For three bottles per person, that's a hefty sum. Thankfully that's been abolished and they now offer glasses too. Then came the main course: prawns for €19. I have to say they were a culinary delight, really delicious but not much for the money. As there was only one starter (the second Manco) which I didn't like, it was the only alternative. Two small children got their food pretty quickly (pasta with tomato sauce) and the food was also very tasty. Everyone else got their main courses too, except me and my two little ones. We had to wait because we were forgotten. When everyone else had finished eating we finally got our food. I had a Cordon Bleu which was also really great. We had to wait almost half an hour for the ice cream again. Overall, it was OK; some things could have been better, others could have been offered at a lower price. But neither I nor anyone else who was there with us that evening can comment on the taste. The food is truly delicious. Another positive thing to note is that there's a play area for the little ones.

The staff is very friendly. Good lunchtime offerings.

The latte was served lukewarm. The cake slice was missing a cake fork.

Very good food at really reasonable prices!!! We'll be back!
