Highly recommended. We were able to spend the entire day here for a family celebration. A quaint atmosphere and very friendly service. Thank you very much.

The restaurant is really worth a visit! The owner is truly an icon of Wuppertal and an exceptionally nice person. That makes up for all the negative reviews. We will come back often and with pleasure.

I was here for the first time with a friend and for me it was like traveling back in time to a world where the ticking of a clock could still be heard. The atmosphere gave us cozy feelings and has nothing to do with the 'contemporary' restaurants 😉 Yes, a little patience is in order, but my very tasty farmer's pancake more than made up for it 👏 The innkeeper does almost everything on his own and with a lot of passion - we talked to him for 'a little longer' 🤭. So: Just take a look - maybe not on the weekend - let your mind wander and be amazed - there's a lot to see - but I won't reveal anything now 😉

A very nice operator who even offered to send us a letter because we didn't have much cash with us and you can't pay by card. A very nice person, great dining room and the food was very tasty and homemade. We had pancakes. One bacon 🥓 and one cheese🧀 Very tasty, but unfortunately I forgot the pictures. Will definitely be rescheduled. 😍

First address for pancakes in the valley! Good price-performance ratio. Right next to the Botanical Garden, plenty of free parking spaces directly opposite. Rustic, pleasant atmosphere.

It's now a must when visiting the bot garden! Delicious food, relaxed conversations with the landlord, rustic atmosphere. I would like true restaurants to be so down-to-earth. (Photo schnitzel with chanterelles... hmmmmpfff... delicious!!)

We were there for the first time today, the Wienerschnitzel was so thick and tough, you couldn't eat it, the fried potatoes were swimming in fat. The apple pancake was ok. We didn't have to pay for the schnitzel. We won't go there anymore.

I went there for lunch and really enjoyed it. The selection of dishes is exactly my taste and the prices are ok too. I sat outside on the terrace and looked at the greenery. Just a few minutes from the city and you feel like you're in the country. The food was good and plentiful. I would love to come back, even when the weather is bad, to sit in the cozy room.

Great ambience with outside seating on a terrace. Extensive menu with pancake dishes - from savory to sweet -, schnitzels and salads. Very courteous, warm service.

Very friendly service. A wide range of pancakes. The drinks and food are inexpensive and taste good. If the weather is good you can also sit outside on the terrace. The location is quiet.

Some of the Christmas decorations are still there, Coffee from the machine (canteen machine not a catering machine!), frozen cake which is actually no problem. But the prices are outrageous! It's a shame, otherwise a nice cafe.

Beautiful little room. Yes, it takes a few minutes longer, but only because he does everything by hand himself - and you can taste it! It's super cozy and the owner is an older, friendly gentleman who enthusiastically showed off his coins from all over the world when asked.

I don't understand the bad reviews, some people are rather spoiled, it's a normal, small, fine restaurant with a really nice gentleman who does all the hard work almost alone! Great food, nice, talkative gentleman. Clearly not a 5 star restaurant but definitely not a bad one.

Excellent. It's sensational that such a quaintly furnished restaurant/pub still exists and you should support it and think about what you can achieve with a review. Great, we can do this again. Keep it up.

The waitress was overwhelmed and couldn't remember the order and only reacted to being flagged down after a long wait. You can probably spend hours there without even ordering. The ambience is quite cozy, but the guest expects something better than Nescafe and cake that looks like Aldi's defrosted one (it almost certainly is).

Great retro atmosphere and very friendly welcome from the landlord. Food and drink very tasty and prices cheap and reasonable. We recommend.

Unfortunately very disappointing.

Lovingly furnished little room. Sporadically equipped terrace with a view of the tennis facilities. We decided on pancake dishes. There was also a simple salad. We enjoyed it very much. At the end we had a nice conversation with the owner. We can recommend the Hardt-Stübchen coffee restaurant and would be happy to come back.

Mittags direkt einen Tisch bekommen, sehr netter Kellner hat einen Babystuhl angeboten, schnell Getränke erhalten und die restliche Bestellung aufgenommen. Essen war sehr lecker, kommen gerne wieder!

Langes Warten auf die Bedienung. Viele Gäste gingen weil niemand kam.Bedienung unfreundlich. Fazit:Wer lange Wartezeiten einplant , kann hier preiswert essen. Eine Kellnerin oder Kellner könnte dem ehemaligen Wirt von der Aprather Mühle sehr helfen. 26.8.2023

Service: - Wir wurden 0 beachtet vom Personal - Das Personal kam mir völlig fehl am Platz vor, auf normale Fragen regierte es schon Total überfordert - Der Chef trug dreckige Sachen Essen: - Essen kam sehr spät - Essen kam nicht einheitlich (man konnte hören wie die Schnitzel geklopft wurden, nachdem die 1 Portion schon da war) - Das Essen kam Falsch, nicht was bestellt wurde Ambiente: - Terrasse wirkt sehr billig und sehr unsauber, alle Stühle waren versifft

Waren gestern Abend dort was essen und trinken. Wir sind begeistert. Das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt, alles frisch zubereitet. Die Preise waren mehr als fair. Der Service war wirklich gut und der Besitzer ist sehr sympathisch. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Das Krüstchen Schnitzel ist super lecker ,und Jochen sehr nett !

In Stichworten: Einfach, freundlich und preiswert. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, der Kaffee in Ordnung und schmeckt frisch gebrüht, Kuchen wie zu Hause, einfach aber lecker. Vor allem ist es dort gemütlich und im Schatten auf der Terrasse sitzen erholsam. Die Preise sind sehr moderat. Ein einfaches Restaurant zum Wohlfühlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Uriges Lokal mit Terasse und viel Liebe wieder hergerichtet. Gutes Preis-, Leistungsverhältnis! Pächter ist ein Original!

Bedienung war ziemlich überfordert. Pfannkuchen waren ganz lecker. Wartezeit aber unangemessen lang. Statt stilles Wasser wurde, so jedenfalls unser Eindruck, Leitungswasser serviert.

Das Lokal wirkt gemütlich keine Frage, aber die Pfannkuchen waren nicht so der renner, aber der Preis war in Ordnung Besitzer wirkte vom äußeren erscheinungsbild ungepflegt aber dennoch Höflich und freundlich. Dafür das in der Woche nicht allzu viel los war musste ich über 40 Minuten auf das Essen warten.

Für uns eindeutig das bessere Café / Restaurant auf der Hardt. Kein überzogenes Chichi, wie z.B. im Café Elise, dafür eine einfache aber ehrliche und leckere Küche zu fairen Preisen, eine schöne, ruhige Terrasse und SEHR freundliche und aufmerksame Wirtsleute.

Ein Ausflugslokal im Wuppertaler Naherholungsgebiet Hardt. Etwas ab vom touristischen Hauptstrom. Der Kuchen und der Kaffee waren ok. Die Bedienung sehr nett. Eine kleine sehr schöne Terrasse mit herrlichen Ausblick über Wuppertal. Der Eingang etwas unscheinbar, daher ein Stern 🌟weniger. Der Zugang zur Terrasse ist nach erstem Eindruck nur durch das Lokal möglich. Wir mußten etwas suchen wo es lang ging. Aber dann war es sehr schön. Es lohnt sich hier einzukehren. Wir kommen mit Freunden bestimmt wieder.
