Restaurant Frankfurter Hof in Ansbach

Really delicious! We ordered and everything went smoothly.

Unfortunately, I'm not at all enthusiastic about this restaurant. We went there for dinner on a family recommendation. In the "parking lot," I noticed the very sad playground. Even before entering, I saw a lot of cobwebs right next to the door, which I didn't find appealing. Before entering the dining room, you walk through an outdated, dingy curtain reminiscent of a kind of "pipe cleaner." After that, your first glance falls on a counter littered with dead and wilted flowers, and at the same time, you notice a very, very musty, old smell (which made me feel really sick and made me reluctant to eat anything there). I also noticed the old benches with their aging upholstery and "seat skins" (which had already worn flat with wear). These gave me an additional dingy impression. Unfortunately, you can't really see the view through all those curtains. Nevertheless, out of courtesy of my companion, I forced myself to eat something. I ordered cheese spaetzle, which were pretty standard. We also had to wait 45 minutes for our food, which is definitely too long. If I hadn't been with someone, I would have left the place without eating. I definitely wouldn't visit this restaurant again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Leider ist die gute Seele Renate verstorben.😭 Sind sehr gute Freunde von meinen Eltern gewesen und deshalb haben wir auch meine Konfirmation vor 38 Jahren und den Leichentrunk von meinem Vater(vor 6 Jahren verstorben)dort veranstaltet.🙏 Ich wünsche der Familie nur das Beste und kann die Gaststätte nur weiterempfehlen.👍 Der (Weinberg Willi) ist definitiv Kult.🙏 Viele Grüße vom Rainer aus Kammerforst.

The food is OK but nothing special, the prices are reasonable, but you should mention before ordering that only cash payments are accepted! If you hear that after eating, if you don't have any cash with you, it's bad.
