Restaurant Filos in Weinstadt

Wir waren am 28.05. ganz spontan mit unserem Hund im Filos zu Gast und waren wirklich begeistert. Schon die Lage des Restaurants ist etwas Besonderes. Die wunderschöne Terrasse mit der gemütlichen Chill-out-Area am Hang lädt sofort zum Entspannen ein. Alles ist sehr ruhig gelegen und eignet sich perfekt für einen Spaziergang vor oder nach dem Essen. Man merkt überall die Liebe zum Detail – auch auf der Terrasse, die mit viel Charme gestaltet ist. Besonders gefreut hat uns der herzliche Empfang. Auch unser Hund war willkommen und wir haben einen tollen Platz im Freien bekommen. Kulinarisch hat ebenfalls alles gepasst. Wir hatten die gemischte Vorspeisenplatte für zwei Personen, Gyros mit frittierten Calamari, dazu Tzatziki und Pommes frites sowie die Kalbsleber vom Grill in Pfeffer-Metaxa-Sauce mit Grillgemüse. Dazu gab es zwei Aperol Spritz. Alles war sehr lecker, frisch zubereitet und schön angerichtet. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis fanden wir absolut angemessen. Gute Qualität, freundlicher Service, eine traumhafte Terrasse und eine tolle Lage – was will man mehr? Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Klare Empfehlung, besonders für alle, die gutes Essen mit einer entspannten Atmosphäre und schöner Aussicht verbinden möchten. 😊🐕🍹🇬🇷

Sehr schönes toll eingerichtetes Restaurant. Sehr freundliches Personal. Das Essen war sehr gut, der Gyros saftig würzig und lecker. Die Leber war ein Traum, absolut auf dem Punkt gebraten, die Pfeffersauce genial. Wir kommen definitiv bald wieder. Ehe ich es vergesse, die Leber war genial.

Das Auge ist mit. Alles wirklich vorzüglich angerichtet. Der Geschmack des Essens steht dem ebenfalls nicht nach . Kann hier meine absolute Empfehlung aussprechen.

Schöne Location, leckeres Essen, super Service. Die Sonnen Lounge die neu gemacht wurde ist nochmal ein kleines Extra weshalb es sich lohnt hier auch einfach mal nur auf ein Bier oder Aperol vorbei zu schauen ☀️

Das Essen war in Ordnung, die Vorspeisenplatte für zwei Personen war sehr reichhaltig, allerdings meiner Meinung nach etwas unausgewogen. So waren beispielsweise nur zwei kleine Dolmades enthalten und das Tzatziki war sehr wenig, dafür aber vergleichsweise große Mengen Käse. Der ansonsten schöne Aufenthalt wurde am Ende leider merklich getrübt: Wir konnten nicht mit Kreditkarte zahlen und mussten eigens zur Bank, um Bargeld zu holen. Zwar soll es unten einen entsprechenden Hinweis geben, diesen hatten wir beim Betreten des Lokals jedoch übersehen. Was mich aber wirklich stört: Warum macht man in einem solchen Fall keine Ausnahme? Die Akzeptanz von Kreditkarten ist im Jahr 2025 kein Luxus, sondern eine Selbstverständlichkeit und das Fehlen dieser Option vergrault Gäste unnötig, zumal unsere Rechnung nun wirklich nicht gerade klein war. Wer mit Kreditkarte zahlen möchte, sollte dafür nicht erst zur Bank laufen müssen. Hinzu kam, dass die To-go-Verpackungen für unsere Reste separat berechnet wurden, ohne dass wir vorher darauf hingewiesen worden wären. Grundsätzlich nachvollziehbar, wirkt aber etwas kleinlich. Vor allem hätte ich es gerne im Voraus gewusst – dann hätte ich selbst entscheiden können, wie viele Behälter ich in welcher Größe tatsächlich benötige, wenn ich schon dafür zahle.

We went there for dinner with friends for the first time. Since our last visit (formerly a pizzeria), the ambiance has changed a lot for the better. My wife and I enjoyed the food very much and have whetted our appetite for more. It's a very nice family business; the staff are very attentive and friendly. We'd love to go back!

Filo's Platter The homemade gyro is particularly tasty and aromatic. The chicken skewer impresses with its spicy marinade and tender texture. The bifteki is also excellent and rounds off the platter perfectly. The creamy tzatziki with a fine, subtle hint of garlic goes wonderfully with it. The ambiance is equally harmonious – from the beautiful terrace, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the vineyards. The service is friendly, attentive, and creates an all-around pleasant atmosphere. We'll be happy to come back!

Beautiful terrace in a beautiful area. I really like this place. The garlic bread tasted good, but it was a bit too oily. The tzatziki was passable. It could have used a bit more garlic, but it was okay. The baked gyro was marbled. The gyro itself was delicious, well-seasoned, and perfectly balanced between soft and crispy. However, the Metaxa sauce was somehow unrecognizable. In one dish, it was even completely off (sorry, that's what they call it). The firmer parts were thicker, and the fat/oil collected unpleasantly at the bottom of the pot. The mention of "fresh mushrooms," which was listed on the menu for the dish and which we didn't find in the baked gyro, was dismissed with the statement that they were very finely chopped. Yeah, right, right. It's a shame, really. The location is very good, but the food is a bit mixed.

The location is truly beautiful – you almost feel like you're on vacation, the only thing missing is a palm tree and the sea. 🌴 Prices are high. Unfortunately, the food arrived a bit late, and the gyro was a bit dry for my taste. On the plus side, the appetizer plate was absolutely fantastic!

A culinary gem of Greek cuisine, quietly and tucked away, overlooking vineyards and meadows. The dishes are consistently excellent, and the portions are generous. I must highlight the white tarama. This fish roe cream tastes much more delicate than the pink variety and is rarely available. We always feel very comfortable and welcome here. The stylish ambiance, pleasant atmosphere, and impeccable staff complete the experience. Reservations are recommended, and parking is plentiful.

Good Greek cuisine with Swabian charm. The kitchen closes at 10 p.m. sharp, and then you can't even get an espresso. You have to be prepared for that.

There was enough discussion last night about not having filos. The salad was moldy, and the gyro, topped with cheese and mushrooms, was missing mushrooms. We brought it up, but no one paid any attention.

Last night we were once again treated to delicious food and very friendly service.

We were guests with three adults and two small children. We were thoroughly satisfied. The food was excellent, there was nothing to complain about. The staff were all very friendly. The ambiance was great, very stylish.

Why the chef didn't open the outdoor area despite the beautiful July weather will remain a secret. All the weather apps predicted a mild, dry evening. Otherwise, everything was great, especially the very friendly and attentive service.

Good food, and in addition to the standard menu, there are always other daily specials. It's certainly not cheap, but you get good quality.

Nice dinner out. We were very fortunate to get a table without a reservation on the spacious porch overlooking vineyards. Prices are reasonable, and staff were accommodating of our struggling German. The chicken skewers with French fries were terrific. Fresh and hot! The giro with calamari was also quite good. Enjoy!

A dish was initially forgotten and later served raw—it was pork. The owner responded only hesitantly, offering an apology and justifying the incident. Later, his wife came over and shifted the blame onto the staff. A schnapps was offered to finish the meal, but it was unconvincing. The taste was disappointing. Due to the way criticism was handled and the quality, I won't be returning.

The food and service were excellent. The portions are generous, so come hungry. And of course, the obligatory ouzo is served. All in all, a fantastic experience.

Unfortunately, disappointing! My expectations were probably too high based on positive reviews! We were there with children and had the feeling they weren't very welcome. Since we were there outside of peak dining hours, it seems they accepted it. The mixed leaf salad consisted only of iceberg lettuce, contrary to what was listed on the menu. It wasn't possible to order something to go with the salad that was offered on the menu in conjunction with other side dishes. Furthermore, you had to pay for the packaging to take the rest of the food with you – without any information from the server. I definitely won't be going back!

It was incredibly delicious, the atmosphere was fantastic, the service was amazing, and the area was fantastic. 100% recommended!

The last time I was there was a few years ago, and now I noticed that there was a new tenant and a new direction. I was pleasantly surprised, nicely decorated, good food and the service was attentive. All in one a successful evening.

If I could give a zero rating I really would. Unfortunately we were dissatisfied with the food and the behavior. The gyro in the oven had too much sauce and looked like gyro soup The emmec was lost in the dish No salad is included in any dish Schnitzel is only served to children The prices are very high 5 people we paid 180 euros And the worst of all was that the company of the next table was disturbed by our mobile phone, as a result of which the waiter without a trace of tact made a remark to us because of a capricious customer and even from afar. We had not heard good things from acquaintances but we decided to give it a try Unfortunately they were right We do NOT recommend it especially for groups who want to go out and have fun freely, eat well and pay reasonable prices

We went with the intention of having a good time with our friends but unfortunately we left very dissatisfied. The portions were small, salad was not included and the prices were high. We celebrated our wedding at Filos and had an unforgettable, wonderful day! From the advice to the implementation, food and service, we felt incredibly comfortable and personally advised by the Filos team. All of our wishes and ideas could be implemented very easily and flexibly. The location all around is beautiful and family friendly. We and our guests were thrilled!

Ate a delicious meal on a very nice terrace and enjoyed the great view. Gladly again at any time.

Last night I was there with a friend. Unfortunately we weren't allowed to sit inside even though it was really cold outside and everything inside was empty. Other guests who arrived shortly after us (even without a reservation, mind you) were allowed in, even though there were plenty of seats outside that weren't reserved. We chose the grill plate for 2 people. Given the hefty price of 38 euros, we assumed that everything would be available twice on the record. Unfortunately there was only 1 small pork skewer and 1 chicken skewer on the plate. You also had to cut the bifteki... Luckily there were 2 pieces of pita bread on the plate, otherwise you would have had to share that too. The taste was delicious, but given the price-performance ratio, you can still miss it. 19 euros per person for 1 skewer, half a bifteki, a handful of gyros and 5 fries is really an outrage! That doesn't take away from any supposed "quality" that was no different than other Greeks. It's a shame, but we went home hungry.

The filos in the Schützenhaus Mützesbach has been completely renovated and stylishly, modernly furnished with a Mediterranean ambience. The outdoor lounge area with a roof is very nice. The quality of the food was great, very tender gyros perfectly prepared with fresh ingredients. Highly Recommended. The owners are very friendly and accommodating with a perfect Swabian accent. There are typical Greek and Swabian specialties at fair prices. It's worth stopping by, especially in summer, on the terrace with a beautiful view over Weinstadt.

We came here for dinner with a large group for a Christmas party. We were welcomed very friendly. The decor is very nice and the food we ordered and the quality were really very good. The plates were beautifully presented and we were all full and had a great time including drinks, thank you very much.

A great restaurant with very good food. Small, clear menu with something for every taste without having to search forever. After the renovation, the restaurant is very tastefully decorated. War jetzt auch das erste mal da. Das Gyros allein schmeckt wirklich genial und überbacken mit 2erlei Käs und Metaxasauce wird es zum Hit 😋

Das Gyros war definitiv gut, nicht trocken und Pommes wie sie sein sollten. Wir hatten verschiedene Vorspeisen bestellt, die durchweg zu empfehlen sind. Das Ambiente ist sehr sparsam eingerichtet, der Gastraum ist nicht allzu groß und leider etwas laut. Im angebauten Biergarten mit provisorischen Fenstern und Heizpilzen lässt es sich auch in der kühleren Jahreszeit gut aushalten.

Per Zufall heute zum Essen dorthin gegangen. Das war eine sehr gute Idee von mir!! 😉 Es war mega lecker. Qualtät und Geschmack 1*. Sehr sehr freundliche junge Bedienung. Das Essen auf dem Teller genial hergerichtet mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Junge moderne griechische Küche! Wer Klasse statt Masse möchte ist hier goldrichtig! Da merkt man dass mit Liebe gekocht wird. Wir sind begeistert und kommen ganz sicher öfter...!! Nach vielen Enttäuschungen in griech. Lokalen in der Umgebung, endlich ein griechisches Lokal dass man 100 proz. empfehlen kann. Geschmackvolle Einrichtung mit viel Liebe dekoriert, dann dieses wirklich sehr leckere Essen dazu, machen den Aufenthalt zu einem Wohlfühl Erlebnis.. Am Ende noch einen Ouzo aufs Haus in einem gekühlten Gläschen wie es sich gehört! Klasse!!

Innen- und Aussenbereich wurden aufwendig renoviert, der beim Vorgänger noch an manchen Stellen vorhandene Rumpelcharme völlig beseitigt. Auf der grossen Terrasse sitzt man sehr schön ruhig und geniesst eine wunderschöne Aussicht, allein deshalb sollte man hier mal einkehren, man kann dies sehr gut mit einer Wanderung oder Fahrradtour durch die Weinberge kombinieren. Bedienung freundlich und flott. Weinauswahl gut, Speisekarte relativ klein, Essen ordentlich, Portionen Deutsch-Griechen-untypisch nicht übergross, eine Vorspeise kann bedenkenlos bestellt werden, passt auf jeden Fall noch rein. Alles recht hochpreisig, ohne dass die Qualität der Speisen dies unbedingt rechtfertigen würde.

Ein richtig schönes Restaurant mitten in der Pampa. Die Karte ist reichhaltig genug und verhungern tut man auch nicht bei normalem Geldbeutel. Es schein sehr gut besucht zu sein, also es empfiehlt sich, wenn man nicht nur zu zweit ist, zu reservieren.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal hier und haben das Restaurant per Zufall im Internet gefunden, es machte einen guten Eindruck. Schönes Ambiente und nette, familiäre Atmosphäre. Essen war gut - es gibt aber 2 Punkte Abzug, da man etwas nachlässig war in Bezug auf Nahrungsmittelunverträglichkeiten und 2 Mal ein Teller kam, beim dem etwas glutenhaltiges drauf war. Wir haben das aber noch rechtzeitig bemerkt, dass auf dem Teller etwas nicht passt und es wurde anstandslos ersetzt. Ein paar Spuren von dem verbotenen Lebensmittel schaden bereits immens, daher eine große Bitte, euch bei diesem Thema zu verbessern. Damit ist nicht zu spaßen. Es gab schon Restaurants, die deswegen eine Anzeige hatten wegen Schmerzensgeld, weil der Körper reagiert hat. Vielen Dank!

Ein sehr schönes, liebevoll eingerichtetes Lokal, mit nettem Service und wunderbar angerichteten Tellern. Hier macht es Spaß zu essen und die Qualität ist sehr gut.

Tolle location, sehr schöner Außenbereich, Service OK. Wenn man satt werden will muss man Gyros essen oder noch eine Vorspeise bestellen. Das Tzatziki auf den Tellern war etwas wenig und es gab keinen Ouzo aufs Haus, fanden wir etwas schwach.
