Restaurant Felsenkeller in Quedlinburg

We ate here with the family of 7 after a pre-Christmas walk! We were all very happy and it was comfortable too. The service was great! Absolutely recommended!

The plan today was to stop at the Felsenkeller and have lunch after a hiking tour. Since we had two dogs with us, we cautiously asked if we could eat them there. We immediately thought about where we could best sit with the dog. Everyone was super friendly and the service was great. The food was exceptional. Price performance fits here in my opinion. If we are in the area again, we would be happy to come by again. Keep it up

Where should I start... There were 12 of us eating in the "Felsenkeller". We were warmly welcomed and our ordered drinks arrived very quickly. Each of us quickly found the right dish as the menu really offers something for every taste. What followed was unbelievable. When our food arrived after a short time, everyone was thrilled. Lovingly prepared, visually fresh... Great. TASTE!!! is really very important here. Personally, I had goose breast, cooked to perfection and tender as butter, with red cabbage, hand-cut and seasoned to perfection, dumplings and a sauce that deserves the name. Grandma let me try the zander fillet, perfect. My wife gave me a piece of schnitzel, tender and juicy. I only admired my brother's steak visually. Super. Also in the taste, as he told me. Some people still had game, which was also very good. Unfortunately it wasn't until the end that I saw that there was still aioli and bread left. The hammer. It was all so great that we would like to come back for dinner more often.

Nice restaurant with very tasty food. Unfortunately the one star is given due to the poor service. The waiter constantly comes with "funny" and sometimes cheeky sayings, which didn't go down well with us as a group. During a visit with my group, my food was forgotten, even though it was just an appetizer, and so I was able to eat almost an hour after everyone else.

Went there spontaneously today and had a great meal. Everything freshly prepared, simply great. We will definitely come back with our children and get the two stamps from the Harz hiking pin, which are nearby.

We ate here and the atmosphere is appealing. The waiter said he was funny, we didn't think so. We had schnitzel which was very good and pike perch fillet with risotto. The pike perch was hardly edible because it contained so many bones and scales! The complaint to the waiter was not really taken seriously but was ignored with stupid sayings. Only when I explained to him that bones are not normal in a fillet did he become more serious and wanted to bring a replacement. We gratefully rejected it for the reason that it probably won't get any better.

We had a spontaneous meal there yesterday. The food, the service and the ambience are fantastic. We will come again. And I can only recommend eating there! The baked pumpkin wedges with plum chutney are a must for anyone who likes to eat vegetarian!

We walked from the hotel briefly through the spa park past the bathhouse to the restaurant in the forest, which was a great little experience in itself. The restaurant is stylishly furnished, the staff is very hospitable and nice and the food is lovingly prepared and an absolute culinary delight at more than fair prices. The Felsenkeller is an absolute top restaurant and highly recommended!

We had a large group of people there to eat and ordered tons of different dishes. The map is colorfully arranged. From hearty German to tarte flambée to Mediterranean, etc. All the dishes were of very good quality, very tasty and sized just right. I ordered the roast venison. This comes directly from the hunter in the surrounding forests and is pickled, prepared and long-cooked by the host himself. And you can taste it. A lot of things taste like “handwork” and homemade in a positive sense. The innkeeper is more of an experience gastronomy type, which for us was moody to cheerful, but that could seem frightening or hurtful to some people who are sensitive or buttoned-up. In any case, the landlord lives his job with passion and that's a good thing. Because there is really enough more appearance than reality in the gastronomic landscape. Then it's better the other way around. We will definitely come back after a hike in the surrounding forests.

All guests are on first name terms. That doesn't work for me at all. When he collects the money, he immediately announces the tip he expects. At €24.90, most people give €27, said operator #3. If that was supposed to be funny, I couldn't laugh at it. Overall, I felt very uncomfortable during this visit.

Five of us were there for very tasty food and everyone enjoyed it. The icing on the cake was the waiter who kept the guests happy with his relaxed sayings.

I would have liked to eat a sausage salad. After 20 minutes of waiting, the service arrived (now 3:24 p.m.). My request for sausage salad was dismissed with the statement that from 5 p.m. only with a reservation there was nothing left to eat. When I asked if we could get ice cream, the lady was very annoyed. The ice cream was also rather bad. Doesn't work at all. Never again

We recently registered as a larger group for lunch at the restaurant. Everything was covered and prepared. The guest room is large and rustically furnished, I was particularly enthusiastic about the idea of ​​the upside down piano (right?). The first round of drinks was very friendly, humorous and quick. Highly recommended is the homemade lime/ginger/mint lemonade - brilliantly implemented! Drinks and menu are just the right size. Not overloaded, great classics, daily specials and seasonal dishes. Precisely. Considering the group size, lunch was sent very quickly and coherently. The rump steak is very well done, tasty homemade potato wedges and a sophisticated side salad - harmonious, well portioned and delicious.

We had a birthday party with 22 people. Lunch and afternoon coffee and cake. Everything was excellent. Lunch was a blast and the in-house cake was very, very tasty. So conclusion: DerFelsenkeller is recommended

There were five of us eating (4 adults and a toddler). The service was top and super child-friendly. All wishes for the little one were fulfilled. We had schnitzel, rump steak, pasta and oven-roasted vegetables and each of us was super satisfied. We couldn't use the outdoor location in winter, but it looked very nice.

Die Auswahl der Speisen ist in Ordnung und es schmeckt, aber die Preise sind mittlerweile zu hoch. Bayrisches Bier für 5 Euro braucht auch niemand. Sonntags geschlossen - es geht bergab.

Klingt platt, aber das Essen ist ein Gedicht, bei dem in einer Strophe mehrere Nuancen hervortreten und mit jedem Vers eine weitere Geschmacksknospe gekitzelt wird. Wirklich hervorragend und die Preise sind für so tolles Essen absolut in Ordnung! Nebenan ist ein super Spielplatz für die Kinder. Wir haben es binnen einer Woche Urlaub leider nur zweimal dorthin geschafft - zu spät entdeckt...

Sehr guter Hirschbraten und der Kellner einfach unschlagbar Top

In Bad Suderode der einzige Ort zum Essen, etwas abseits gelegen, 20 Minuten zu Fuß vom Zentrum, die Späße des Wirtes sind nicht jedermann Sache, fand ich aber gut, Essen ist top, habe noch nie ein so gutes Ofen Gemüse gegessen, kann ich nur empfehlen

Ein ganz tolles Restaurant. Das Essen war sowas von lecker. Draußen sitzt man schön in der Natur und drinnen duftet es herrlich und sieht auch sehr gemütlich aus. Sehr freundlicher Service. Rundum nur zu empfehlen.

Uns wurde der Felsenkeller empfohlen. Häufig scheint es hier sehr voll zu sein, denn uns wurde mehrfach eine Reservierung angeraten. Wir waren an einem regnerischen Tag dort und man hätte auch so noch einen Tisch bekommen. Der Kellner ist sehr überzeugt von seinem Reetaurant und erklärt einem die Karte. Bei jedem Gast kommen die gleichen Sprüche, aber es scheint anzukommen. Die Geteänke kamen sehr schnell, ebenso die Vorspeise. Die Aioli war lecker, aber nicht so krass, wie vom Kellner beworben. Die Hauptspeisen waren super! Die Portionen riesig, aber auch so lecker, dass ich nichts auf dem Teller liegen lassen wollte. Auch zu Wanderfragen kann der Kellner Antworten geben. Kartenzahlung war kein Problem und das parken vor Ort ist kostenlos.

Wer hofft...und das tun viele, auf ne gute Küche, ein Verschnaufen nach der Wanderung...muss Geduld mitbringen. Trotz reservierter Plätze: dauerte es eine halbe Stunde bis zum ersten Getränk. "Service" erklärt, warum es gerade zu viele Gäste sind...und vergisst sich dafür zu entschuldigen. Kein niedriger Preis - aber kein hoher Service
