A great place for food and drinks in GE💙💙 Great pizza, friendly service. We love coming here when we're attending a concert in the coolest city in the world.

Without further ado, there's nothing wrong with the food. My wife's salad was amazing. My pizza had everything you need. We'd love to come back.

We went there for the first time today, and I have to honestly say I'm disappointed. We decided to go based on the positive reviews. The ambiance is really very appealing, but the food, in my opinion, was rather mediocre. The pizza tonno had very little toppings, and the base was rather dry. The calzone looked great, but I've had much better. The flavor was...well, pretty bland...to put it bluntly, not very seasoned and not very rich. Perhaps other dishes are better, but we won't try them again. We were very disappointed; we had hoped for better.

Our experience at Farina was very good. The food was excellent. The drinks were also excellent; I really enjoyed the mojito. The service was also super fast and very attentive. You can hardly find better Italian food in this city.

The pizza 🍕 was quite tasty, the pasta 🍜 with truffles was good, but unfortunately, it wasn't the pasta we ordered. What a pity.

As always, delicious food at Farina. Pizza, pasta dishes, burgers, fish and meat dishes, and desserts were all top-notch. The cocktails 🍹 were amazing. Friendly, attentive service. We'll be back again soon, highly recommended.

I've rarely eaten such good pizza. The service was fast and attentive. The food and drinks arrived very quickly. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the music was enjoyable, making it easy to have a good conversation. My wife and I were thrilled and will definitely come back.

We were just there before the concert at the Veltins Arena. Absolutely delicious. I haven't had such good pizza in a long time.

The food was delicious, and the menu offers plenty of variety, including vegetarian options. There's also a small specials menu. The drinks selection is also excellent. I particularly liked the super friendly and always attentive staff. From the outside, it looks a bit unassuming, but don't let that put you off.

Imagine the fries gone. I had to add them to my hamburger dish, otherwise my husband wouldn't have been satisfied. The grill mix was pathetic. We won't be coming back.

We spontaneously stopped by Farina with friends after an event at the Veltins Arena – and it was an all-around fantastic experience! The stylish ambiance captivated us as soon as we walked in. The decor is modern yet cozy, making you feel right at home. The service was absolutely top-notch: friendly, attentive, and always with a smile. We weren't disappointed with the food either. From the appetizer to the pizza and pasta to the dessert – everything was fresh, delicious, and prepared with love. Our vegetarian friends also had a great selection of dishes. Although we were only in town for a visit, we'll be back next time! Highly recommended! Thank you so much ☺️

We went to Farina with a large group for a birthday dinner. In addition to the high-quality and attractively presented food, I especially have to highlight the service staff. I haven't personally experienced such genuine friendliness, passion, and competence in a long time. I would like to give the service ten points, if possible. So, once again, a heartfelt thank you. We all felt very comfortable and welcome.

I have been coming here for years and am enthusiastic about the new outdoor dining area, but the food is getting worse and worse and the boss is an imposition who can't deal with criticism and is clearly not a trained chef... Spaghetti Carbonara with Tyrolean speck according to the menu is pretty funny... and the ham pizza is overloaded with cheese like at a Turkish takeaway... For a wannabe Italian restaurant, that's a bit light on things. Of course the "boss" doesn't let you finish your sentence because only he's right.... Of course I had to pay the whole bill even though I left almost everything up to him.... Yes, the gentleman has it too good because otherwise he would speak to a customer differently.... so he should learn to be friendly and learn to cook a bit more. Both are lacking.... I will certainly never be back. There are enough alternatives in GE and you're even treated kindly there!

The two of us ate here today and when you get feedback about the bad food, you are ignored and when you ask again why it wasn't addressed, you just say "then why did you eat it?" Service is zero. The Limoncello Spritz was so strong that you had to sober up for three days afterwards. Young people who take criticism personally have no place in a restaurant.

Our favorite restaurant.. regular customers for years. The appreciation of the owners is really great, no matter how busy it is, they try to make sure we can still eat something there without a reservation. We don't have to talk about the food at all, no matter which dish is delicious. Recommended for everyone, many friends that we took with us for the first time are now eating there themselves.

We went to Farina's for dinner to celebrate my father's birthday. Yesterday's evening was simply great 👍 The food was impeccable and the bread that was served as a starter was a real highlight! 🥖👌 The service was super attentive, always present and regularly asked if everything was ok. 👏🍽️ I had the Penne Tartufata and it was just amazing! 🍝🔥 Great restaurant and a great team. Ordered over the phone was great and picked up on time as promised over the phone, the dishes No. 52 and 60 we ordered consisted almost exclusively of pasta, an absolute impudence to offer something like that without the promised side dishes, we are very, very disappointed

We went there spontaneously and chose it at random...luckily for us, because it was amazing! The food was very good, the atmosphere was simply amazing, and the staff was extremely friendly! We, from Cologne, felt very comfortable there! We will definitely recommend it!

Very nice and accommodating. I was there years ago. I was actually looking forward to the Long Island Ice Tea. Unfortunately, it's no longer on the menu. Even though they were really delicious back then. It's a shame. Maybe I'll come back soon. But the service was excellent.

A pretty decent restaurant. Pizza looked really good. Salad was absolutely okay, but my lasagne was absolutely below average. You should put more effort into the dessert. Tiramisu stuffed into a glass isn't exactly great. But very friendly service, which also responds to requests.

I always enjoy going there. For a chain, the Farina in Gelsenkirchen Erle is a very good choice. The service and ambience are particularly noteworthy. Every now and then I just drink a beer there. The new terrace is finally finished. I'm looking forward to sitting there in spring/summer.

Outrageous: Salad Cesare for €11.50 to take away: consists of 95% iceberg lettuce, 6 half cocktail tomatoes, 4 croutons, a slice of goat cheese…….. Price-performance doesn't fit. Never again

The noise in the restaurant significantly reduces my stay. With the spagetti carbonara, the pasta was al dente, but the sauce was thick and you could hardly taste the parmesan. Too bad!

Yesterday I was at Farina for the first time with my girlfriend. A warm welcome, super delicious food, we tried our way through the starters. Carpaccio, salad with warm goat cheese and a bruschetta were not to be missed. Wishes were quickly fulfilled. We'll be back, that's for sure.

Very nice Italian restaurant, with a brand new outdoor terrace. However, the atmosphere in the old outdoor area was much more comfortable. Significant improvements should be made here. The food and drinks are still very tasty with appropriate prices. The staff is always very friendly, attentive and quick. It's always beautiful here.

Good food at a reasonable price in a fairly spacious restaurant. You don't hear every conversation at the next table. The menu is solidly Italian, 2-3 original dishes would be good. Very suitable for an after-work dinner with friends, not my tip for a “big” meal at the weekend.

We were there on Saturday. By chance, we were on the way to Marl, where we live, hunger drove us into the restaurant. The door was open, we went in at 11.50 a.m. The waitress greeted us and said we would open at 12 o'clock. Please sit where you want, I'll be right there. She finished setting the tables and brought us the menus. She took the order in a friendly manner, the drinks came and the food came quite quickly. There was also Warm bread with delicious olive oil in advance. Our conclusion: it was a good fit, very nice, very friendly and delicious. Food without time pressure and, as has recently been the case more and more often without a time window. We saw that dogs are allowed and are welcome there and we really liked it Pleasing.We didn't have our two who, by the way, don't smell and are very well behaved.Next time we'll be happy to come back.

We were there for dinner with 10 people and went home very disappointed. 8 people got their food, 2 were forgotten, Another (burger / was ordered medium and was brought raw) It was complained about, was returned (cut in the middle) when it came back, exactly the same condition as when the complaint was made. (not a new burger, but the one that went back) When we mentioned it again, all that came up was "sorry" And when it came time to pay, the burger had to be paid for, even though it hadn't been eaten. Given all the glitches, we would have expected more than a "sorry".

At Farina ( Food ) I had better experience,Despite the kitchen staff's efforts I couldn't enjoy my meal as there was another guest next to me with his dog which gave off a strong smell and ruined my meal. Additionally, my stay was marred by frequent interruptions as waiters came to my table three times to ask about my taste. This significantly detracted from the atmosphere and negatively affected my dining experience. Given this experience, I unfortunately cannot recommend this restaurant."
