The service was very friendly and attentive. On both of my visits, the food was more visually appealing than tasty. The asparagus could have been cooked a little longer, and overall, the dishes could have been seasoned a bit more strongly for my taste.

Kirchstraße 11It took almost 45 minutes for our starters to arrive: an overly salty goulash soup and a bruschetta with a peculiar flavor. Then we had to wait another long time for our main course: a tasteless, small schnitzel and a lamb steak that was tasty, but a very small portion. No fries or salad—nothing, they had to be ordered separately. And if you did plan on ordering fries, you got, well, don't be alarmed, only one sachet of mayonnaise and one sachet of ketchup for two people. No, this wasn't a pleasant experience for us, and we certainly won't be returning.

Wiegbold 22We had the set lunch menu on a Sunday. Beef soup to start and Herrencreme (a type of cream dessert) for dessert. Both were delicious. For our main courses, we had beef roulades with potato gratin and beef with onions and rice. A big compliment to the kitchen, it was superb. The friendly server was also very nice. The price was excellent. We will definitely be back.
