Super leckere Döner, komme aus Ostfriesland und wir besuchen regelmäßig diesen Laden, da unser Bekannter in der Ridderstrasse wohnt. Ich kann diesen Döner absolut nur weiterempfehlen 👍👍👍

Ganz schlechter Service. Die Kundschaft wird beleidigt. Geht gar nicht. Das war früher besser. Ich werde da nicht mehr kaufen. Wenn es Null Sterne gäbe für den Service, dann würde ich dieses wählen.

Kürzlich besuchte ich eher zufällig einen außergewöhnlichen Ort. Ich hatte geplant, mit meinem Liebsten nach Ahaus zu fahren. Ich gab „Ahaus“ ins Navigationssystem ein, ohne eine Adresse anzugeben, und landete statt im Stadtzentrum in einem Industriegebiet. Ich war ziemlich geschockt und fragte mich, was schiefgelaufen war. Dort angekommen, bekam ich Hunger und entdeckte einen Dönerstand. Wir beschlossen, etwas zu essen. Zusammen mit meinem Liebsten bestellten wir zwei Hähnchen-Döner im Brötchen. Das Fleisch war hauchdünn geschnitten und wir aßen es mit Knoblauchsauce. Alles schmeckte hervorragend. Meine Portion war riesig – wahrlich Champions-League-Niveau – und viel zu viel für eine Person. Für zwei Döner zahlte ich 20 Euro, und das Essen war köstlich. Ich bedauere sehr, dass der Ort über 30 Kilometer von meinem Zuhause entfernt ist. Ich würde sehr gerne wiederkommen, um andere Gerichte auf der Speisekarte zu probieren. Herzliche Grüße und alles Gute!

Service und Bedienung super nett. Die jung versprühen gute Laune. Bin als Düsseldorfer aber bessere Döner für weniger Geld gewohnt. Fleisch etwas labbrig. Saucen sind fertig Saucen und mit salat und Kraut wird gegeizt. Preislich doch etwas hoch angesetzt

Insgesamt einfach geil und die Leute die da stehen und die Döner machen einfach zu sympathisch. Schade nur, dass er kein Blackjack um 2 Euro spielen wollte

Sehr guter Döner und ein tolles, freundliches Team. Zur Stoßzeit sollte man besser vorbestellen, da auch schon mal 10-15 Kunden gleichzeitig an dem kleinen Laden bedient werden wollen. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Wirklich sehr freundlich, das Essen schmeckt hervorragend. Mein Enkel weiß gar nicht, was er zuerst essen soll, zwischen Pommes und Döner. Eine sehr herzliche Art, die man heutzutage suchen muss und ab und zu findet man einen Edelstein.

Ich habe schon lange nichts so Leckeres gegessen, und die Angestellten waren unglaublich freundlich, besonders der Inhaber. Ich habe mich wie zu Hause gefühlt. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder. 🤗

I was there yesterday evening, October 29, 2025, between 7:30 and 8:00 PM. In short, it was a completely new experience for me to get a small doner kebab with extra meat served from a tray, not from a spit, for €11.50 in a doner shop.

Overall, it's gotten significantly worse. Waiting time has become far too long. A few customers waiting and only one person behind the counter. 👎🏻 20 minutes turned into 60. The taste has also deteriorated significantly.

Legendary kebab place with decent meat. Those who appreciate high standards will find what they're looking for here—in the truest sense 😀

Ate a doner kebab at Onkel Samba's for the first time today. It was delicious. I'll definitely be back.

Brutally, intensely awesome kebab. 🥙 The meat was fresh and juicy. The flatbread was incredibly crispy, not too dry. I had the Champions League kebab. It was an experience. 🤩 I can recommend it to everyone.

Pre-ordering worked great. The kebabs were delicious.

"Polite, friendly," and a large, delicious kebab. Unfortunately, the flatbread wasn't toasted. However, I paid €45 for three large kebabs instead of €36. Unfortunately, I realized too late that I was being ripped off, but support isn't murder, after all.

In my opinion, it wasn't that tasty, but that's a matter of taste. The price of €10 was the most expensive kebab I've ever had. The kebab was large, but not half a wheel, and not much, but the meat was too limp for me, and they used sriracha as the spicy sauce, which I find very unusual, as my regular kebab makers make their own. The bread was unfortunately toasted for too long, slightly burnt, and much too dry and brittle. It can't be compared to the Ruhr area... Ahaus still needs to learn a lot when it comes to proper kebabs. But everyone has a bad day sometimes, so feel free to try it for yourself.

Incompetent and unable to delete old price lists from still existing appearances (e.g. chayns - https://xn--samero-dner-grill-ahaus-flc.chayns.site/) and then become arrogant and impertinent 😠 sorry, that's not possible, there are enough other delicious kebabs 🤷‍♂️

It's good but what bothered me was that the doner kebab was not freshly cut but rather used old meat from the box... and unfortunately it still tasted the same

We always drive from Solingen to visit a friend in Ahaus. It's our tradition to eat at Onkel Samba's every time we visit Ahaus. You're never disappointed; the portions are first-class, delicious, and above-averagely large. My wife ate a kebab at Onkel Samba's for the first time last Friday and said it was the best kebab of her life! I can only agree. We'd love to come back.

We stopped here yesterday on our way home to Oldenburg. We were looking for an alternative to the truck stops and gas stations. The good reviews had piqued our interest, and we were happy to pay the extra eight minutes. The staff was friendly and entertaining in a very personable way. The kebab was a straight A+. We'll be back.

Doner kebabs are delicious in themselves. But the pricing is really off. Whether it's a small or large doner...extra meat costs €3. So a small doner costs €11. :-D No thanks

I was there last fall and found the kebab very “0815”. Went there again today and was very surprised. The nice older colleague behind the counter really conjured up a masterpiece. The kebab tasted really fresh and delicious. The salads are all very finely chopped and it was filled just right. The only point of criticism: for the comparatively high price, pepperoni and feta should be free options and not cost extra (at other, cheaper places it is included in the price). I'd still like to come back when I'm in Ahaus!

We rarely eat kebab, but when we do, it comes from here. Just the “doner kebab bag” is very tasty, not to mention what's in it. You get good value for your money. Even the small one is extremely plentiful.

After 15 minutes of waiting, it is completely legitimate to ask whether you can place your order at all. A clear reason for the owner to become aggressive and unfriendly. Then you don't have to worry about missing tips ;-)

Gourmet kebab of the best quality. Here the kebab skewer is homemade with high-quality meat. For me, it's unrivaledly delicious.

German citizens are systematically disadvantaged here. If a friend rattles by in a Benz, they will be served immediately as a matter of course. It doesn't matter how long you've been standing in line. In addition, you are constantly being fed old scraps of meat from the drip tray. How about you make a separate queue for Germans so that only inferior kebabs are handed out? You won't see a cent from me anymore

Food was delicious!! The service was nice, but there was a long queue in the cold, so it's better to call ahead and order.

About the background: When I ordered there were 3 customers in front of me and I thought ok, it would probably take 15 minutes. But that turned into 45 minutes! Pre-orders keep coming and everyone is told on the phone 20 minutes. That's not possible at all and orders are constantly being pushed in between and you wait and wait... which means that the kebab is simply slapped together quickly and in my case I had a large one for €10, totally thin, not much in it and my bread was burned black and fell apart when I was eating it, bitter and crumbled because it had been under the grill for too long. You just don't have time to pay attention to quality because only one thing is being shot out after the other! I don't know who makes the business policy, but it seems to me that it's more about QUANTITY INSTEAD OF CLASS! Then you just have to say that it won't be until 30 or 40 minutes and not everyone who calls will answer in 20 minutes. The quality simply suffers! I drive an extra 20km but that's really not possible, people. If I had seen that, I would have exchanged it. So please think about how you can manage this. But that's just super disorganized. Not the first time I've been there and I guarantee it won't be the last time either. Super tasty, so it's no problem having to travel almost 20 km for a delicious meal.

I felt very bad today after the falafel kebab, got a fever and threw up the kebab. I'm feeling much better now. It's such a shame how the quality has suffered since the move.

I went there to order and waited forever for my food. Unfortunately, orders by phone were always brought forward and I had to wait over an hour for 2 simple kebabs. Unfortunately, even after preparing them, they were cold before my eyes.

Bester Döner in Ahaus , ich muss zugeben hab auch noch nichts anderes dort außer döner gegessen, aber besser als da geht es nicht in Ahaus. Netter Service geht schnell, wenn man es sehr eilig hat würde ich aber vorbestellen, da dort oft viel los ist. Ambiente: naja es ist ein Industriegebiet aber dafür ist der Laden schön hergerichtet, generell ist es aber eher zum Mitnehmen gedacht.
