Unfortunately Germans still can't cook steaks. I don't understand why ask about my preferences if u can't cook it correctly anyway. Additionally 35 euros for this steak is just not fair. My recommendation is to avoid ordering steak or just skip it.

Last week I spontaneously looked for something for dinner. Food - service - friendliness - ambience - table decoration - service TOP. Of course that has its price. But it's worth every penny.

Besuch im Restaurant Faces, wer Top Ambiente , Service, Essen sucht ist hier richtig! Ambiente modern schlicht! Service hervorragend! Alle Kellner sind top + Azubi! Küche über jeden Zweifel erhaben! Qualität hat seinen Preis... ! ;) kein Restaurant für jedermann!

For years I have been coming to this restaurant regularly to eat or to celebrate important events, but this time I was very very disappointed. The service was really beyond imagination, not competent and quite unfriendly: a real disgrace. When we asked what the "leek ash" was in the whipped butter they serve with bread, the waitress more or less explained how it's made and then added that it doesn't taste like anything anyway and they just sprinkle it on because it looks nice. Point two: and this is really something I have never experienced anywhere in Europe (let alone the USA or Canada). They seated two people with a dog next to us - the table was very close - without asking us if he was bothering us, even though there was enough space elsewhere in the restaurant. Then, since the two dog owners were friends with the staff - either the servants or the assistant chef - they brought the dog a fillet of raw meat and the dog started eating it on the floor. I'm a vegetarian and I felt sick from the smell of the dog and the raw meat on the floor - unimaginable in a restaurant like this! I don't know if the chef wasn't there or if he was on vacation, Anton de Bruyn is usually attentive and very good at his job. But the dishes today also seemed to be poorly prepared, and where they had changed something, there were no well-chosen combinations. I'm very sorry: certainly the staff should be better selected and when changing the daily specials, make sure that there are chefs who can find suitable combinations. It's a shame, I won't be recommending the "Emma" - which used to be one of my favorite places in Frankfurt - and won't be coming back any time soon.

I got food poison yesterday, service was terrible grumpy. Never I will eat here.
