What great service! Competent, friendly, reserved, just right and the food is first class!!

Was ok. Had more expectations regarding recessions.

Very fine and delicate dishes, the service war elegant , strongly recommended

I felt that the place is mainly for business dinners rather than family or social gatherings aside from business. However the food was not special aside from the artistic presentation. The beef carpaccio has so many toppings that I couldn’t find its taste . The fish was tasteless although I like the taste of lentils and parsnips purée. Service was good .

Nov 24 Dinner 2 of us One of the institutions in Frankfurt they say, make us want to try this modern European restaurant. We came without reservation but we managed to get a high table at the bar which is surprisingly very comfortable. Service was quick, kind and attentive. 10/10 They even cooked me the saffron linguini with 6 prawns which is not in the menu. We also saw they try to accommodate those who didn’t make reservation. Foods were all great. 9/10 Ambience also very nice. Casual chic. So I guess it is still one of the institutions here in Frankfurt. For us at least who first timer here in Frankfurt.

Everything I ate was delicious. However, do not be fooled by its name and think that it is an Italian restaurant, as they clearly state that it is not an Italian restaurant :)

We got to this restaurant with no reservations. Luckily there was an available table. The staff was friendly. The food was excellent. We loved the beef fillet, the soup, and the wonderful desserts: Creme brûlée and cheese cake that was light, not too heavy.

The lunch set is highly recommended, the service is very good and it is delicious. Remember to make a reservation in advance!

Special Menu : Goose and Parma Ham dry age 30 months are good The taste was exquisite, making it a memorable dining experience.

The Medici is a Frankfurt institution. The two chefs and owners cannot deny their roots in star gastronomy. The dishes are consistently harmonious and have that little bit more elegance, coherence and harmony.

Both of us (2 people) couldn't tolerate vegetarian dishes, either there were additives or spoiled food. There were also annoying noises from the automatic sliding door to the kitchen constantly opening, which was annoying and disrupted the otherwise nice ambience.

While looking for a nice restaurant with fine dining, I came across the Medici and it was a hit. Every single course on the menu was a delight! Every single dish had its own twist and was creatively prepared. The service is particularly noteworthy! We received excellent advice and care from Manus Schindel; Our special thanks go to him! We look forward to being there again next Friday.

Wow, ein wirklich gelungener Abend im Restaurant Medici. Top Service, eine exzellente Auswahl an Weinen und das Essen, wir hatten uns für drei Gänge entschieden und jeder einzelne Gang war ein gaumenschmaus. Wir waren nicht das letzte mal da.

And oh how delicious. Special mention should be made of Marius who was amazing at the service. Every dish served was perfect. Very tasty and generous in quantity. We had a great time. We will come back again.

O preço não é tao acessível, mas vale a pena. A carta de vinhos e enorme e tem vinhos de todos os preços. O restaurante se localiza proximo ao Centro Antigo e bem fácil de chegar.

2024.09.09 Enjoyed dinner and went on a group tour. The duck breast for the main meal was delicious, not too spicy, not too salty, and it was great to enjoy with mashed potatoes. The dessert was on the sour side, so I didn't particularly like it. The service staff are very friendly and handsome~

At first glance it looks like an upscale Italian restaurant. But the food is absolutely top class! Far from ‘standard’, perfectly balanced flavors. And all in a 4-course menu for €79. The wine list offers a variety of very good, upscale open wines with a relaxed price-performance ratio. This is rounded off with fantastic service who also knows their way around the wines. Go to FFM!

Unfortunately the food was much below expectations for the restaurant in the Michelin guide. We had lunch. Everything was too salty. The burrata in the salad was average. The deer and salmon nothing to rave about. The service was great though but it is only one ingredient for the restaurant to be recommended…

Fantastic upscale restaurant in downtown Frankfurt, near the plaza…brilliant service, amazing cuisine, nice setting. We sat outdoors on the patio on a quiet street, on a lovely evening. We had the risotto with chanterelles, and the perch (fish), which were both delightful. Our daughter had the beef filet with scalloped potatoes, and she ate every single bite…and said it was the best steak she’d ever had! The wine list was lovely, and the staff was extremely friendly and attentive. Absolutely fantastic spot for dinner!

Wir sind wieder einmal im Medici eingekehrt und hatten einen wunderbaren Abend. Das Menü war ausgezeichnet in seiner Produktqualität und geschmacklichen Abstimmung. Wir hatten von den vier Gängen jeder etwas unterschiedliches und konnten dadurch auch die Alternativen probieren. Als Apero hatten wir „Bardöngchen“ Rosé und danach zum Essen einen m.E. fair kalkulierten Bourgogne Blanc der zu allen Gängen wunderbar gepasst und das Essen geschmacklich ergänzt hat. Für den Hirsch wurde ein Glas Bourgogne Rouge aus der Empfehlung gewählt. Es gab zwei leckere Amuse Gueule die mit schöner Frische auf die folgenden Gänge eingestimmt haben. Egal ob das Carpaccio vom Gambero Rosso, das mit dem roten Shisoeis eine fruchtig kühle Harmonie auf den Gaumen brachte, oder die süß-sauer eingelegte Rote Beete, beides ist ein idealer Start für einen so warmen Spätsommerabend. Die Linguine mit Sommertrüffel und Gazpacho waren dann ein sehr guter, leichter Zwischengang. Unsere jeweiligen Hauptgänge waren spitze. Der Seeteufel mit Coppa Schinken hat wieder sehr gut mit dem Wein harmoniert, der Hirsch war auf den Punkt gebraten und sehr saftig, als auch das Risotto mit Pfifferlingen und seinen Beilagen war ausgezeichnet. Und ein schön dekoriertes Dessert mit ausgezeichneter Schokolade hat das Menü toll beendet. Herr Krenzer und sein Serviceteam waren wie immer sehr nett, aufmerksam und haben uns für die Weinauswahl gut beraten. Im Kästchen mit der Rechnung lag ein Hinweis auf ein Raritätendinner. Für Freunde der Weine von Lucien le Moine gibt es am 23.11.24 ein abgestimmtes Menü. Abschließend muss hier einmal erwähnt werden, dass es unsere Gastronomie bestimmt schwer hat. Wenn aber ein solches Menü in Frankfurt Innenstadt für derzeit € 75,- zu haben ist und gleichzeitig ca. 150 km nord-östlich von Frankfurt € 11,50 für zwei Scheiben Bruschetta mit schlechtem Olivenöl und geschmacklosen Tomaten verlangt werden, oder kürzlich im Rheingau als Gedeckpreis zwei Scheiben Weißbrot mit Rahmbutter € 3,- pro Person(!) berechnet werden, dann stimmt etwas nicht mehr in den Kalkulationen der Letztgenannten.

Very tasty food. We had the 5 course menu in the evening. The portions were sufficient and you were full. There was also a greeting from the kitchen. The wine selection is huge but not that cheap. The cheapest wine was around €30 a bottle and it went up to over €200. The service is super attentive. The wine was always given as a gift. Gladly again.

We have been coming here regularly on business for several years now. Without exception, we always had a lovely evening with very good food and wine. The wine selection is huge and well sorted. We are happy to help if necessary. In general, great people work in service here. I get around a lot, but I rarely experience such great service. Competent and enjoy working. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

Yasmin was extremely helpful in suggesting the best dishes and the wine selection recommended to us was brilliant. We had the Italian Amaore Della Volpicella Tommasi and it was brilliant. Food from the starters (gazpacho, tuna tartare and crepe) to main courses (beef steaks and linguini) was 5 stars!! Highly recommended! 5 stars all the way!!

The business lunch for €28 was fennel soup and risotto as the second course. The carpaccio was ordered additionally.

I went to Medici to celebrate my birthday with my family last week (June 2024). The staff made us feel so welcome and were super attentive, give great wine recommendations and looked after us really well. They made the whole experience really special. The food as well was fantastic. We’re from New Zealand and spent 3 weeks in Germany - the food we had at Medici was the best food we had eaten all holiday! We sat outside - it was a warm evening and a great spot to watch people walk and drive past. Highly highly recommend! If we’re ever back in Frankfurt, we would love to go to Medici again.

World class food. Beef fillet with puree and beans. Cod with cashew sauce. Everything was extremely tasty and aromatic.

Set Lunch：2 & 3 course Both are salad with cheese +fish fillet in lobster souce and potatato cream. 3 course has dessrt of chocolate mouse. The fish fillet dish is good ecept that the fish is very salty. It spoiled the whole taste. The salad is good. When you sit in they provide some bread and 2 thin slices crackers and a souce to dip. This is good to taste. We take a bottle of skarkling water.

Das Medici hat seinen 20. Geburtstag gefeiert in Form eines Degustationsmenüs in Verbindung mit dem Champagnerhaus Gosset. Es war ein wunderschöner lockerer Abend, der mit frisch aufgeschnittenen Serrano Schinken und einem Glas Extra-Brut auf der Terrasse begann und nach sechs Gängen mit einer Auslese vom Weingut Fritz Haag zum Dessert endete. Das Essen war (wie immer) ausgezeichnet, gut abgestimmt auf den Champagner und hatte eine hohe Produktqualität. Sehr schön war die kurzweilige und interessante Moderation der einzelnen Gänge und ihrer jeweiligen Champagners durch Frau Bourguignon (Gosset). Stefan Krenzer und sein Serviceteam haben souverän die Gäste betreut. Herzlichen Glückwunsch von dieser Stelle und noch viele gute Ideen, Gerichte und Weine für die folgenden Jahre!

Met het reserveren was er maar 1 tijdslot vrij, maar dit was blijkbaar nog tijdens de lunchmenu. Mits te vragen om toch het dinermenu te mogen bekijken en als enige daar te zitten, kregen we toch het lunchmenu (is tot 17u30!!). Ook best een beperkte menu waarin niet altijd een keuze voor iedereen tussen zit. Het eten zelf was super lekker en niets op aan te merken, buiten dat dit vooraf klaargemaakte gerechten leken (snel klaar en simpele gerechten als slaatje, crème brullée,…) Verschillende obers gehad doorheen het uurtje dat we daar hebben gezeten. En met de betaling de groffe vraag gekregen van één van deze (die enkel de betaling kwam afhandelen) of we fooi wilden geven. Aangezien we de vraag niet verwacht hadden en we dit altijd achteraf regelden met cash geld, stonden we met onze mond vol tanden. Uiteindelijk kregen met een boze blik en een sneer terug dat het niet erg was. Dit zou voor ons het hoogtepunt van uiteten moeten zijn geweest, maar naar onze mening een grote flop!

I had booked a table late and it seemed that the waiters prioritized preparation for the next day. Ordered a 4 course meal with wine. The wine came after the dishes. The food was good, but the service could be better. Possible better experience and service if you go there earlier in the evening

Unfortunately, we had a group of 30 tourists, quite noisy, next to us that evening. So it disturbed a bit the evening and conversations. Out of that, everything was great: the food, the service. A wonderful place to visit with a high standing. To visit again soon.

Absolutely top class. Perfect harmony between excellent service and excellent food. You can choose between à la carte and a 4-course menu. Recommendation: White tomato soup as a starter, the perfectly fried fillet of beef as a main course and crème brûlée as a dessert. We will be back definitely.

Gutes Restaurant und sehr freundliche Bedienung. Von den insgesamt 4 Gängen waren einige hervorragend und andere mittelklassig. Die Creme Brulee war einfach himmlisch, Fisch und Fleisch leider etwas zu durch und die Beilagen kaum gewürzt. Geschmacklich gab es immer wieder Überraschungen aber auch etwas langweilige, relativ ungewürzte Anteile. Leider waren die Teller kalt, so dass auch das Essen nicht mehr heiß am Platz ankam und schon nach kürzester Zeit komplett kalt war. Bei den Preisen nicht hinnehmbar und etwas enttäuschend. Der Kellner war insgesamt sehr freundlich. Lediglich die Abrechnung war befremdlich, da die Rechnung ( ca. 260€) einfach kommentarlos hingelegt und weggenommen wurde. Es gab nicht einmal eine Nachfrage, ob man mit Karte oder Bar bezahlen wolle. Auch könnte man vlt. überlegen, ob man nicht einen Espresso o.ä. aufs Haus anbieten kann. Das würde den Service sicherlich abrunden. Insgesamt aber ein schöner Abend. Komme gern wieder. Beim nächsten Mal aber vlt. eher zum Mittagstisch.

Fine cuisine, friendly and fast service, very tasty and beautifully presented dishes, never tasted such an exquisite WHITE tomato soup with foam - highly recommended! The Chardonnay was also highly recommended. The only small point of criticism; the tables were placed too close together.

I had lunch at the restaurant and grabbed a seat by the window. The ambiance was fantastic. I ordered the set lunch with two main courses, but there may have been a misunderstanding with the waiter, as my friend and I were served two identical main dishes. As a result, we couldn't try different items on the menu. Despite this mix-up, the food was delicious, and the restaurant is definitely worth checking out.

Spontan zum späten Mittagessen und ein neues Lieblingsrestaurant gefunden. Wir starteten mit einer köstlichen Kokossuppe mit knackiger Gemüseeinlage, gefolgt von einem Rindercarpaccio, welches kaum besser sein kann. Die charmante und sehr kompetente Jubi hat uns zur Trüffelpasta eine wunderbaren Rotwein empfohlen und die Crème brûlée war der krönende Abschluss. Die Speisen waren fantastisch angerichtet, die Köche hier verstehen Ihr Handwerk! Wir kommen sehr gern wieder, nur das nächste Mal ohne Auto, damit wir mehr von dem herrlichen Rotwein genießen können.

Stopped in spontaneously for a late lunch and discovered a new favorite restaurant. We had a delicious coconut soup with crunchy vegetables, the beef carpaccio was one of the best we've ever had and the delicious truffle pasta was wonderfully al dente. The charming and very attentive Jubi recommended an excellent red wine to go with the pasta and we couldn't say no to the crème brûlée. The dishes were fantastically prepared and the chef knows his craft here. We were completely happy and would love to come back, but next time without a car so we can enjoy more of the delicious wine.

Unlängst kam ich in den mehr als exquisiten Genuss dieses Gourmet-Etablissements. Als Zwischengang (oder in meinem Falle Vorspeise) gab es Karotten-Ingwerschaumsuppe mit Zitronengras und confiertem Garnelenwürfel Als Hauptspeise gab es ein Gebratenes Zanderfilet auf Sesam- Chilispinat an Krustentierschaum und Kartoffelpüree. Runtergespült habe ich das ganze mit einem deliziösen trockenen Ingelheimer Frühburgunder. Sehr empfehlungswürdig.
