The food and service were impeccable. Tasty and reasonably priced! The only thing that bothered us were the chairs, whose seat height wasn't adjusted to the table (or vice versa). Our group of eight felt a bit cramped.

Don't let the exterior and location put you off. The construction site will be gone eventually. It's very nice inside, and the food is absolutely delicious. Not to mention the very friendly and attentive service.

We went to this lovely restaurant for the second time today. And once again we were rewarded with first-class food and were able to enjoy a great atmosphere. The food is very tasty and as diverse as Greek cuisine is and there is always something new to discover. The ambience also offers something suitable for everyone, with a beautiful outdoor area and a versatile indoor area. Thank you for the lovely evening and see you soon 🥳

Restaurant Estia Siegen – center of Greek cuisine and hospitality The name of the Greek restaurant Estia is derived from the word “stove” in Greece, the center of domestic life. In a figurative sense, the Estia restaurant in Siegen is a central place for well-kept food and proverbial hospitality. We were there for a small birthday party and were able to choose from the extensive menu (210 dishes) between cold and warm starters and soups, fresh salads, Greek specialties, mixed grill dishes, meat platters, burgers, pasta, pan-fried, fish and vegetarian dishes as well as desserts. For the Siegerlanders who are very close to their homeland, schnitzel is also on the menu. We opted for a mixed starter plate and squid rings with tzatziki, various meat plates (Greek specialties), salad with grilled prawns and, for dessert, galaktoburiko, a Greek pastry with pudding filling and original semi-sweet Greek mocha. All dishes were served quickly and were of the best quality. We particularly liked the quality and freshness of the food, the unobtrusive, very friendly staff and generally the nice atmosphere of the well-run restaurant. We'd love to come back!

Food was very tasty! The garlic potatoes and homemade fries as a side dish are special. Really something different than always rice or industrial fries. It's also great that you can order smaller portions. Staff friendly too. Can be recommended and it wasn't the last time. Pre-order a table early! Parking directly at the restaurant is only possible for around 6 cars and is very tight, so it's better to look for something in the area. What bothered us a bit was the noise in the main room, but still: gladly again

Very tasty food in a nice atmosphere. Meat comes from Charcoal grill. Great taste. The fries are also something special. We were there with 15 people and that wasn't a problem for the service. Always attentive and nice but never intrusive. We'll definitely be back.

Update: Today we were there again. After the renovation, I don't like the ambience that much. Which is a matter of taste. But the climax follows. I have reserved. For 2 adults and 2 children (I said straight away that they might not come with me but I made a reservation just to be on the safe side.) Yes, it was ok. I wasn't told that I should let you know again. So I didn't think about it. That was probably very bad. Because the lady then became extremely upset. Unfortunately I can speak Greek... well she doesn't serve us anymore then the nice gentleman took over. And the same when paying. She didn't come. Then he did that too. Very unfortunate. We liked being there. But that probably doesn't fit anymore. Absolutely nice service. Very very good food. Big portions. We would love to come back. In my opinion, the tzatziki could be a little stronger, but everyone has a different taste. Otherwise really very good restaurant

Friendly service and delicious food

Rundum perfekt! Schon beim eintreten zog uns leckerer Essensduft in die Nase. Dazu das schöne Ambiente mit super freundlicher Bedienung, hat mich sofort gut abgeholt. Die Stimmung war gut und der Einstieg mit einem gemischten Salat war prima. Ich hatte das Gyros mit Kartoffeln gewählt und wurde nicht enttäuscht. Super lecker und die Portionsgröße war genau richtig. Sehr nette Mitarbeiter. Ich hatte auch das Gefühl das einige Gäste auch länger verweilen. Es hat auch etwas mit guter alter Kneipenatmosphäre. Wir haben beschlossen, das wir hier öfter essen werden. Danke für den schönen Abend. Macht weiter so.

We were just there for the first time and it was TOP! The decor is minimalistic and not overloaded but still really great. The service is very friendly. The entire process was smooth and the food from the starter to the main course was excellent and perfectly timed ! The food was very tasty and guys, we'll give you a tip: Instead of fries, use the potato slices with fresh garlic!!!! They're an absolute dream!!!!!!!!!! We'll be back! 2024: We have been there many, many times since then and everything is still TOP! Absolutely recommended!!!!!

The parking lot of the restaurant itself fills up quite quickly. The service was ok, very busy but tried not to leave you alone. The food was solid German Greek food. Of course, the food wasn't like it was flown in from Greece, it's as good as ever in Germany, so expectations of authenticity weren't high anyway. Meat was good. But there are too few flavor variations in the dishes. Everything from pork tastes very similar. And the fries are a bit underseasoned. Otherwise it was a solid Greek meal like you can get anywhere in a reasonable portion. The taste is good, but it doesn't knock your socks off either. It would also be nice to have a few more traditional Greek dishes on the menu.

For a Greek restaurant the selection of food is above average. Schnitzel, fish and much more join the usual Greek specialties. The staff friendliness was ok, the waiting time for the food was reasonable. Speaking of food. Our group really enjoyed the grilled chicken breast fillet, Athens plate and fried salmon fillet. Value for money: a little more expensive than many other Greek restaurants, even though it tasted very good

De menukaart biedt een ruime keuze aan Griekse gerechten en de door ons gekozen gerechten waren uitstekend bereid met ingrediënten van goede kwaliteit. De bediening was zeer vriendelijk en attent. A Greek restaurant with a very attractive, modern atmosphere... After our order, we were each served a delicious mixed salad as a greeting from the kitchen (where else can that be found??)... For the main course we decided on a Crete plate and pork fillet in house-style Metaxa sauce, with crispy, crunchy potato slices. Both a dream... The portions are plentiful and the prices are absolutely fair. If we were allowed to award stars, we would shower the chef and service with enthusiasm. We can absolutely recommend this restaurant. We wish you all the best and love, keep it up... ...this is gastronomy with heart and soul.

We visited the Estia restaurant for the second time today. As with the first visit, we are very satisfied with the food, the freshness and the quality of the ingredients. The service is quick and the employees are very friendly.

Were here with 6 people on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was very full and our table was still occupied, so after a short wait we were able to sit down. The three service staff had a lot to do. Nevertheless, we were served quickly and friendly. The dishes were all very good. Smoke and grill aromas, delicious seasoning, good tzatziki. I deducted one star for the price-performance ratio, the dishes are all around €20, which for me is a bit too much for a gyro with fries. Unfortunately, the ambience is not that cozy and due to the many guests, it was very loud given the open room concept. Conclusion: We would be happy to come back for a delicious grill plate.

I made a reservation here for my birthday because it was the only Greek place that was open on Mondays. A nice restaurant with a huge TV. Choice of food very good. Service quick. Food came to the table very quickly and tasted fabulous. I had the Mykonos plate. Unfortunately, the menu didn't say that the bifteki was filled with cheese. It wasn't bad now. But you should add that to the menu. Otherwise we were very satisfied. From the salad to the fries to the meat, everything was tasty. Gladly again

Das Restaurant Estia (früher Pega) ist ein gepflegtes griechisches Restaurant in Siegen. Die Speisekarte verfügt über eine große Auswahl von leckeren Speisen zu zivilen Preisen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Ambiente ist gemütlich. Mein Fazit: sehr empfehlenswert 👌

Geschmack ist eine persönliche Sache - unseren hat es getroffen. Qualität, Menge und Preis/Leistung passen auch. Also...hingehen und lecker essen.

Wir hatten einen Tisch vorbestellt. Ganz in der Nähe einen Parkplatz bekommen und freundlich empfangen worden. Die Bedienung war richtig schnell und das Essen war ausgezeichnet. Auf jeden Fall weiterzuempfehlen !
