Cozy, clean restaurant, good service and friendly staff, the food is good and large portions, it wasn't my last visit there

Gyros was nice, juicy and crispy and a good portion. I had imagined garlic bread differently. The nice thing about the store is that there is a large parking lot and not far from the globe. So definitely come back... 😎...

Unfortunately, I didn't have a good experience. The fries were just leftovers, the order was wrong, the waiter was arrogant and didn't correct anything. The quality of the meat wasn't good either, just lukewarm. There was a lot of savings here, with a meal for €32

Nice restaurant, very cozy and you are always warmly welcomed. The food is very good which the boss prepares himself. I've often eaten there or taken away.

Unfortunately, salad dressing and some meat taste like Covienience products. Sometimes very over-seasoned. I work in the catering industry myself and recognize when “homemade” is offered. This simply means that a convenience product is modified and not completely manufactured in-house.

I recently spent an evening at my favorite Greek restaurant and was once again amazed by the outstanding experience. Although I have been here several times, the restaurant continues to surprise me with its outstanding quality. I would particularly like to emphasize the excellent service. The staff was extremely attentive and courteous without being intrusive. They were always willing to make recommendations and ensure that every guest enjoyed a memorable dining experience. The atmosphere of the restaurant is inviting and relaxing, which further enhances the enjoyment of the meal. The warm lighting and traditional furnishings create an inviting atmosphere that invites you to linger. Overall, I can fully recommend this restaurant. It is undoubtedly the best Greek place in the area, offering an unbeatable combination of fresh ingredients, excellent service and cozy atmosphere.

Overall, a very positive impression, which you wouldn't initially expect from the street side. The outdoor area/beer garden is as you would imagine. Certainly a great atmosphere in summer. The entrance and interior areas also implement the Greek theme very well. The dishes are very tasty and extensive, so that everyone gets their money's worth and, above all, is full. Card payment only possible by EC card, not Mastercard (but there is no deduction for this due to the otherwise exclusively positive points).

My husband and I took a break near Granted victories. Since we had wanted to eat Greek for a long time, my husband googled a restaurant and came across Athos. When we got there, the restaurant opened shortly beforehand. We ordered gyro plates twice. Since I put down fries, salad and even the tzatziki (I know that's incomprehensible to many people), I wanted to eat Greek noodles with the gyro. The waiter told me he had to charge the full price plus the pasta (a whopping €6.90!) extra. Since I didn't want to cause a fuss, I accepted it. When the food came, the gyro meat was very dried out and looked like it had been reheated from the day before. There was no meat, just dry, crispy pieces of gyro. My husband hardly ate anything and was of course disappointed because we finally wanted to enjoy Greek food. When the waiter cleared away we asked for the bill, he asked if everything was OK. Then I said not really, because the meat was very dry and it was more like chips. The waiter's answer was, "I can't do anything about it now." I then told him that he didn't have to ask if everything was okay!!! When he offered us an ouzo, we refused because it wasn't appropriate at all at that moment! We would have preferred our complaint to have been taken seriously!!!! We will definitely not be able to recommend this restaurant and will never go there again!!! I rarely write reviews and, if at all, I prefer positive ones!!! But here I just had to express my opinion because it wasn't of interest locally

The four of us had a lovely evening in this restaurant yesterday. The ambience is very Greek right from the entrance and you also feel very comfortable inside. We had a very friendly and humorous waiter. The wait for drinks and food was perfectly fine (the restaurant was busy [on a Saturday]). The quality and preparation of the food was top, we enjoyed it very much. The portions were generous. Prices for food and drinks are also fair. All in all, a visit to Athos is worth it! It's best to call and reserve in advance.

Here are my impressions: Ambience like being on vacation: As soon as I entered the restaurant I felt like I was in a Greek tavern. The decoration, the colors and the relaxed atmosphere reminded me of my last vacation in Greece. Warm welcome: The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. You could feel the hospitality and family character of the restaurant. Culinary delights: The dishes were a real culinary delight! From fresh tzatziki to crispy souvlaki to delicious baklava - everyone gets their money's worth here. Value for money: The quality of the dishes and the service are excellent in relation to the price. I felt completely satisfied. Overall impression: Restaurant Athos is a place where you feel comfortable and welcome. I will definitely come back! Five stars for this authentic Greek experience! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Das Essen ist wirklich sehr lecker und die Portionen reichhaltig. Von innen ist es so wie man einen Griechischen erwartet, lässt man es ein bisschen auf sich wirken erkennt man wieviel Arbeit in der Gaststätte liegt. Gemütliche Atmosphäre Gerne wieder

Zusammenfassung nichts besonderes. Der Standart-Grieche innen mit dem üblichen Ambiente und Musik. Außen der Hof sieht sehr gut aus. Gestört hat mich der Kellner der ein Auftreten hat als ob wir verwand sind.... mag ich nicht. Ich muss mich vor ihm auch nicht erklären warum ich dies und das nicht gegessen7 aufgegessen habe.

Ein Stück Griechenland in Siegen. Lammkeule mit Bratkartoffeln und Feta - einfach lecker. Oder einfach mal den frischen Fisch probieren. Ein Besuch lohnt sich.

Das Essen der Service einfach perfekt die Portionen waren reichhaltig und hat alles super geschmeckt das Tzatziki war selbst gemacht und hat super lecker geschmeckt wir waren auf jeden Fall nicht das letzte Mal dort und kommen gerne wieder. Das Personal ist zudem sehr freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Für uns war diese Portion zu viel man kann es aber auf Wunsch dort einpacken lassen für zu Hause.

Hier kann man aus einer großen Auswahl landestypischer Gerichte auswählen. Die Portionen sind reichlich und haben mir immer gut geschmeckt. Im Sommer kann man sehr schön im Freien in einem ruhigen Garten das Essen genießen.

Sehr schönes Restaurant vor allem der Garten, da weiß man nicht wo man ist, in Siegen oder in Griechenland 🌴🪴🌅sehr toll und geschmackvoll gestaltet. Das Essen schmeckt auch sehr gut. Weiter so 😉

Schönes Ambiente . Guter und freundlicher Service. Die Portionen sind nicht gerade groß , das Gyros war etwas hart und geschmacklich nicht so toll . Ansonsten ist das Essen gut . Man kann hier gut verweilen, speziell draußen , wenn das Wetter es zulässt.

Wir hatten für 6 Personen reserviert. Bei dem schönen Wetter natürlich im Freien. Der Service war toll und die Mitarbeiter super nett. Das Essen war vorzüglich und so reichlich, daß einige von uns sogar noch einen Teil uns haben einpacken lassen. Sobald ich wieder in Siegen bin, werde ich das Lokal gerne wieder besuchen. Sehr zu empfehlen

Essen war teurer geworden, nicht mehr so liebevoll zusammengestellt und weniger. Der Kellner Nico ist einfach der Beste überhaupt.

Die Portionen ausreichend und überdurchschnittlich. Ambiente gemütlich und etwas verwinkelt was mir gefällt. Schöner Garten mit Sitzmöglichkeiten. Parkplätze könnten knapp werden wenn das Restaurant voll ist. Insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Preislich Okay

Es war ein toller Abend mit leckerer Pizza und mit den nettesten Kellnern und Inhabern! Würde ich nur weiter empfehlen!

Wir kamen ohne Reservierung und bekamen direkt einen Tisch zugewiesen. Die Bestellung wurde schnell aufgenommen und die Getränke wurden zügig an den Tisch gebracht. Die Speisen waren lecker und reichhaltig. Das Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Restaurant ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und dürfte mal renoviert werden. Es ist ein großer Parkplatz vorhanden.

Also wir waren sehr enttäuscht, können die Lokalität nicht weiterempfehlen, aussen sehr schön aber alles andere lässt zu wünschen übrig, es liegen schon Bierdeckel auf den Tischen. Das Essen war mässig, hatten uns von einem Griechen etwas anderes vorgestellt.

Wir kennen Athos schon einige Jahre. Als wir vor kurzem das Restaurant besuchen wollten bekamen wir vom Kellner sofort ein unfreundliches "nein, keine Hunde" entgegen gezischt. Es handelt sich um einen kleinen, lieben Hund der unter dem Tisch auf seiner Decke liegt... Aber auf Gäste mit Hunden wird wohl kein Wert mehr gelegt. Schade... Athos kommt dann für uns und viele andere mit kleinen Fellnasen nicht mehr in Frage...
