Simple place to stop after a walk on the beach.

Enjoyed good sour meat with fried potatoes with very friendly service in the bistro. I think it's not really a restaurant, but a good snack bar with service right next to the Baltic Sea. Prices for food and drink are reasonable.

Planned for a long time, finally done today... Not least because of recommendations from friends and acquaintances, we went "over" to the Priwall today and headed for the dune pavilion. The furnishings are simple, rustic, cozy. But it's clean. Equally important: The staff is nice, considerate and helpful. And very important and interesting: The food is delicious, beautifully prepared, sufficient and at fair prices. So for us the journey was worth it. And: We'll be back! (That's not a threat.)

The potatoes were bad, they needed a little more time in the pan. The schnitzel was the worst I've ever eaten. There is a lack of love for cooking and for details. Tastes like everything was thrown in the fryer

Real German beach bar, with delicious German food. Smooth, friendly service. The older man who works there really enjoys it and always makes appropriate and inappropriate jokes to the customers. We had a good laugh about it.

It was so subterranean that I was forced to write my first review ever. Service unfriendly and overwhelmed (take away) Fries and nuggets for the kids were okay. The schnitzel with fried potatoes was neither one nor the other. The frozen meatballs just had a strange aftertaste from the fat (perhaps fish had been fried in them beforehand?). Otherwise tough, more than the thickness of a thumb and without any taste) And then there were the “fried potatoes”: Probably pure frozen product, overcooked, unseasoned, no onions, no bacon, no salt, no pepper + we already had the problem with the frying fat. There seems to be a fundamental problem here. I have never eaten so badly and been so annoyed!

Nice little beach restaurant with very tasty food. Always be sure to reserve your space in advance. Everything is almost always occupied

The meal (fish) with a small side salad and a small cucumber salad. The fish was served with remulade and fried potatoes. Actually quite good except for the fried potatoes. The fried potatoes had little taste and no bacon and few onions. Not everyone can cook fried potatoes. In terms of price, it's not as cheap as it has always been written here in the reviews. I also pay the €5.80 for a 0.5L beer in other restaurants.

About food: We had a small snack at lunchtime. The herring rolls were plentiful and tasty for their price. The daily report “Sour meat with fried potatoes and the tartar sauce that was forgotten at the beginning were also plentiful and, according to friends, delicious. Regarding the service: A very unfriendly and dismissive waitress reacted very rudely to the order, delivery and any questions and answered them somewhat impolitely. The other colleague was much friendlier in comparison. About the location: A somewhat rustic snack bar that fits the location of the Priwall. For a quick snack - without any pretensions - the snack bar is certainly suitable for “regulars”. Overall impression: The fish sandwiches were really okay. Maybe the waitress was having a bad day or we were simply unknown to her. A few small things that will not be discussed further now add to the two-star rating. If it changes or not when it arrives again, the rating will be corrected again accordingly. Rating after 3 years has been corrected. The service was super nice and the food was also great.

Mega delicious food, the service was busy, so we forgot about us for a while, but it was made up for by being polite 😉

We used to love coming here (the schnitzels looked like schnitzels). Last year we had schnitzels that looked like they came from the factory. After each one (out of 2) we let the food go back! A PITY!

Today was my first time at the Dune Pavilion and definitely not the last time. The mixed fish plate was great, I see, very tasty, the service was very friendly, the prices were reasonable. I can highly recommend the dune pavilion.

If you are on the Priwall, definitely a must! Great currywurst with a view over the dunes. Fast, friendly service. Half as expensive as Henssler, but twice as good. Clear recommendation, we would love to come back!

Authentic fish restaurant in the Priwall dunes. Food does what it promises. It's just a shame that there are no vegan options and only a few vegetarian options. City yogurt dressing, simply vinegar and oil for the salad and vegan fish sticks on top and it would be a highlight. But the real fish was very good, according to the fish-eating people.

After being served so poorly at Ahoi Steffen Hennsler in Travemünde and waiting an eternity to order and pay, we found the dune pavilion and from then on we went there for dinner almost every day. The price/performance ratio is right and so is the service. Our orders were carried out in a friendly and quick manner and we always enjoyed it. Can be recommended without reservation!!!

Ice cream cafe and cherries with vanilla ice cream service was a bit awkward, almost everything was reserved

Update: We have been guests several times a year for years. Unfortunately not so good anymore since the change of ownership. Among other things, curry ketchup for fish??? We are looking for alternatives. Previously: That was delicious! When the store is full, it's quite lively. But that's fine! The fish plate was absolutely delicious! A nice selection of fish (I had cod, Baltic sea salmon and salmon), very well prepared. The children had Baltic sea salmon and my wife had a salad. Everything fine!

Small snack bar with a very rustic roof put together at camping level. Cheeseburger was frozen and loveless. Fish was the finest. Service very friendly and quick. Overall in the flair of the 80s.

Cheeky and uneducated service. Fried potatoes hard and not seasoned. Employees should take a look at the relationship between guests and service. In earlier times it was much better under the old operator. A pity!!!

Unfortunately, I can't quite understand where all these good reviews come from. Maybe we were just unlucky. I don't know it. But one after anonther. Arrived, chose a table, sat down. The waitress came quite quickly to bring us the cards and then take our order. Two times the fish soup, two times cod with fried potatoes, once schnitzel with fries and the request repeated three times not to put ketchup or mayonnaise or anything similar on the fries because our son doesn't like it. Plus a special, a tea and a pilsner. So nothing exciting. The drinks came to the table and almost simultaneously a fish soup. I kindly pointed out that we had ordered two. The response was a bit annoyed and said that they would have to bring us another one. It came ten minutes later. A bit bland in taste. It was also a bit difficult to season due to the lack of salt and pepper at the table. Shortly afterwards we were forced to hurry up. After all, they wanted to bring our main courses. Then they came too. The fried potatoes were ok. The fish is rather tasteless. But still no salt or pepper at the table. But now. The fries were drowned in a thick layer of curry ketchup and mayonnaise. You couldn't and didn't want to eat like that. Especially not since they were explicitly ordered without anything. Our reference to this was angrily dismissed with the statement that he should just eat the schnitzel first and a portion of fries would be delivered later. Of course, this didn't reach us all evening. The schnitzel was far dry and had not been used to a meat tenderizer beforehand. It was thick and chewy. Oh yes, by the way, my Pilsner was a shandy that had probably been vegetating near the tap for a long time. At 7:00 p.m. we asked to pay. At 7:20 p.m. we repeated our request. Five minutes later someone came to our table to ask if everything was OK. Now for the third time we said that we would actually just like to pay. Nobody came again. As a precaution, I looked around because I was waiting for someone to jump up and say to us: “Welcome to the hidden camera!” But no one did. So my wife got up at 7:35 p.m., looked for the waitress and finally handed her the money. 86€. For whatever. Have a good meal.

Very pleasant place. The fish was very tasty and the fried potatoes were really tasty. We were pleasantly surprised when we received the bill. All in all a real recommendation.

Successful mix of restaurant and snack bar. Food high quality and worth every cent. I had the pollack with a small salad and fried potatoes, my companion had fried herrings with fried potatoes. Also a fish soup. All very tasty. Toilets clean and modern. Two more tips: reservations are helpful. The dishes are also available for sale outside the home. We'd love to come back.

Heute ist unser Anreisetag. Deshalb gab es erstmal den leckeren Apfelstrudel mit Sahne. Sehr gut. Die Speisekarte sieht lecker aus. Wir kommen garantiert zum Essen hier her.

Nach dem Besitzerwechsel hat sich nichts geändert. Das Essen ist sehr gut. Der Service freundlich und aufmerksam. Ich hatte den Mix-Fisch Teller, wie 2022 für 22 Euro. Wie immer rundum zufrieden. Gerne wieder.

Der Dünenpavillon ist ein nettes kleines Lokal mit sehr netter Bedienung und frischem Fisch.

Immer wenn ich am Priwall bin gehe ich hier essen. Super leckeren Fisch, Garnelen auf den Punkt genau gegart, grosse Portionen, leckere Bratkartoffeln und Salatbeilagen und das Preisleistungverhältnis ist sehr gut. Hier bekommt man noch was für sein Geld und wird satt. Da ich hier seit über mehr als 15 Jahren bin, wurde ich noch nie enttäuscht und immer nett bedient von einer langjährigen Crew. Wir waren nach über einem Jahr wieder auf dem Priwall.Und auch dieses Mal vom Dünenpavillion begeistert. Hier bekommt man noch was für sein Geld! Ob Mittags in Strandklamotten ein Fischbrötchen oder einen Salat oder Abends ein monströses leckeres Schnitzel-egal….es passt einfach. Eben einen Absacker am letzten Abend genossen…, Einstimmig in der Familie beschlossen,dass der Dünenpavillion die beste Gastronomie auf dem Priwall ist. Gott sei Dank kann sich dieser Betrieb gegen die Mitbewerber auf dem durchgestylten,neuen Priwall behaupten. Also einfach die paar Schritte vom Fähranleger Nordermole gehen und diese ehrliche und sehr gute Gastronomie genießen. Es lohnt sich!👍👍👍

Jedes Jahr ein Fest mit super Personal!

Das Essen war okay. Hab ein Schnitzel gegessen, dass eigentlich gut, war wahrscheinlich ein wenig zu lange in der Pfanne weswegen die Marinade ein wenig hart war. Waren mit mehreren Leuten da, wodurch es zu ein wenig Problemen bei der Bestellung kam, was aber natürlich passieren kann. Die Karte hat meiner Meinung nach seit den letzten Jahren ein wenig nachgelassen.

Super Ambiente bei tollem Essen und echtem Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Herrlich freundliche Bedienung ☺️👍 Bleibt so, bis nächstes Jahr

Diese Location besteht schon seit 40 Jahren und das spricht für sich. Leckere Fischbrötchen und handfeste Speisen stehen dort auf der Karte zu moderaten Preisen. Familiäres Ambiente in rustikaler Umgebung. Sauber und sehr zu empfehlen.

Super Essen und guter Preis für die Lage :)

Ich habe hier gestern eine ganz hervorragende Currywurst gegessen und wurde sehr freundlich bedient. Das Ambiente ist das einer "gehobenen" Imbissbude mit etlichen Tischen und Sitzplätzen. Die Betreiber haben sich aber Mühe gegeben, alles gemütlich zu gestalten. Und es ist sauber, was ich wichtig finde. Ich bin immer wieder sehr gerne dort, auch nur für ein Eis oder ein Getränk.

Das Essen ist fantastisch 👍, und kundenfreundlich ist es auch . Danke euch bis zum nächsten Mal..

Gerade richtig gut gegessen… Piratenteller, 3 große Heringe, super lecker Bratkartoffeln und das für nen schmalen €! 😋 Das Essen an den anderen Tischen sah auch sehr gut aus… vermutet man nicht unbedingt bei der Location!

Sehr leckeres Essen, obwohl es rappelvoll war, mussten wir nicht lange auf das Essen qarten. Alles frisch zubereitet. Netter Service, Preis/Leistung passt...man sollte aber lieber reservieren.

Wer mal auf dem Priwall ist, sollte hier unbedingt mal einkehren. Reservierung ist aber erforderlich. Ist auch bei anderen Gästen sehr beliebt.

Man bekommt was man erwartet...und noch viel mehr. Super nette Bedienung, schnell und sehr zuvorkommend. Nach einem Tag am Strand genau das Richtige! Wir kommen wieder 😊👍🏻
