We enjoyed the food, but unfortunately my dessert was thawed and wasn't that good. I personally found the staff nice, but there were two of them who seemed very unpleasant to me and that's why I didn't feel very comfortable there.

Home-style restaurant. Food was very tasty and great value for money. Nice, courteous staff and a homely, cozy atmosphere

Fine Swabian cuisine! Even without a reservation, we still managed to get a spot early on Sunday evening. A table was spontaneously shared so that there were enough seats. All the waitresses were very friendly and quick. Drinks and food were served surprisingly quickly. Onion roast was unusually thin, but still perfectly cooked and tasted very good! The final dessert was also perfect. We can recommend this restaurant! PS: Cleanest toilets in the basement, which can also be used by people with limited mobility via a stair lift.

We went there for dinner for the first time. The food was very, very tasty. Dry aged steak cooked to perfection, the other meals were also very tasty. And finally an affogato. Splendid. And what I love so much is when there is a board in front of the restaurants with food that is not on the "season menu". You have to go there if you want to eat in Bad Urach. Wonderful

The reviews were so good that we decided to give the restaurant a try. We weren't disappointed! Very friendly and competent staff who are happy to advise. Just a few minutes after ordering, the side salad arrived with an excellent dressing. For the main course I had char with boiled potatoes and my husband had onion roast with spaetzle and Maultaschen. The only criticism would be that the thickness of onion roast was a bit too thin. The taste of the food was delicious. Would love to eat here again when we are in Bad Urach. Keep it up, dear grape ;-)

The food was very good, also regional. What I really liked was that the waitress was really knowledgeable about gluten-free, and the advice was really top notch.

There is a lot of pork, which not everyone likes. And there is a lot of cream in the sauces. The food is still good, even in terms of the portion. The usually most inconspicuous thing, namely the side salad, is actually good. Even without cream, yoghurt or similar sauces.

Very tasty food, super friendly service. However, the price-performance ratio for the small dishes is not good. With Uracher's favorite dish, the small dish costs €2 less and you get exactly half the normal portion and no salad. I thought that was a shame!

We took a short vacation in Bad Urach and came in spontaneously and without a reservation and got a table. The staff is friendly and professional. It took less than 10 minutes between ordering and actually eating. The portion size is okay and the prices are more than fair. The starter salad was very good and so were the main courses. A clear recommendation 👍

Friendly and fast service. Clean and tidy. Eating onion roast roast was very tasty and beautifully prepared. Side salad tastes perfect. Drinks pleasantly chilled. Two small chocolates when paying, very attentive. Overall very appetizing. Will definitely come back soon.

I have been there several times and can recommend the restaurant 100%. Swabian cuisine with great quality. The food always tastes very good and is served beautifully presented. The service staff are super nice and attentive.

What can we say, thank you very much, we felt really comfortable. Our daughter has celiac disease and we were really taken into consideration when we made the reservation and said we would find something. But we were so pleasantly surprised. The waiter was so knowledgeable and told us directly what she could eat and how it was prepared. He even pointed out the contamination with the salad. The food was really, really tasty. We actually didn't want dessert at all, but since there was still gluten-free dessert written on the wall, we couldn't leave without dessert. And we have no regrets. Really great. We are from the catering industry ourselves and appreciate so much that we discovered such a great restaurant. THANKS

The restaurant is really nice and clean. Staff is nice and the food was made quickly. Unfortunately I had to realize that the quality of the food is German... Selling ready-made schnitzels from the freezer as fresh Viennese is critical for me.

Very tasty food in a rustic environment! The service was very nice, we arrived shortly before 7 and were still allowed to use the “normal” day ticket upon request. We were very satisfied and would like to come back.

Today on October 7th, 2024 the two of us spontaneously went to dinner in the Traube. We got a seat without a reservation. The service team welcomed us in a friendly manner, took our order and the drinks soon came to our table. I chose Urach's favorite dish and my wife chose chanterelles with Maultaschen. The side salad and the meal didn't take long to arrive and both tasted very good. We were very satisfied with the service and the quality of the food, and the wine and beers were also impressive. Thank you for the lovely evening in the Traube restaurant!

We spontaneously looked for a place to stop for an anniversary on the holiday and were more than happy with our choice afterwards. The telephone reservation was quick and friendly, so we could relax in the evening Masque “The Grape”. Our reserved seat was quickly assigned to us. The very friendly service staff took our order quickly. While we were still sipping the first sip of red wine, the very tasty, crunchy side salad with a really tasty dressing arrived. A few forks later, our hot food was brought to us in a friendly manner. We chose Urach's favorite dish: Pork medallions with fresh stone mushrooms from Ehestetten in Rahmsößle, Maultaschen, spaetzle from the board and a colorful salad were chosen, which was definitely a very tasty decision, thanks to the kitchen. The meat, rosy and buttery tender, the Maultaschen spicy and the sauce, a poem. We were also very attentive when we asked if we wanted more sauce with our delicious spaetzle. Unfortunately, we were full after this delicious meal, which is why we unfortunately didn't have any more dessert. In terms of price, we found the card to be more than fair and even cheap. Even after leaving, the service was still excellent....so with/without cell phone '-) We'd love to come back!

Friendly service and delicious food. Seasonal and regional products.

The food and service is great. But the fact that you have 3 different menus is more than confusing! As a guest, you are sometimes presented with a menu with fewer than 10 different main courses. Then there are also menus that contain many more dishes. These dishes are simply not available, or at a different time. As I said, our table of more than 8 people didn't understand this logic.

At 7.30 p.m. there was already no more hot food. I have actually never experienced such poor service anywhere.

Today we were in the Traube with 11 people. We weren't sitting properly yet and accidentally left our backpacks on the 2-person table behind us because it was really tight and we barely had any space. We were rudely attacked by the waitress. Then someone came to take the food and drink. This was quite friendly the first time but became unfriendly the second time I asked. When the food was served, no one came to ask if everything was okay or if anything else was needed. My spaetzle and champions were lukewarm or cold. My husband's roast venison was very fatty. Even after the meal, the tour came again. Anyone else want something to drink or dessert? We had the feeling that it was too much again. Even when we asked if the children's food could be packed, these plates were left on the table for at least 10 minutes... Too bad... No one came to the table as long as we were sitting there and the backpack had to be taken away immediately... If you have a bad day you shouldn't take it out on your guests

In my opinion, one of the best gravies I've ever tasted. Schnitzel is a bit too thick for me and could be pounded a bit more. But it's just a personal preference.

I was in the restaurant today and wanted to go with a disabled companion. We wanted to have a nice afternoon, but they didn't want to give my companion the opportunity to use the toilet (walker due to an operation) even though there was an elevator. And it culminated in pointing us to the restaurant opposite: it was better there because there were only a few stairs. I was so annoyed by this way of treating guests with disabilities! I will definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone. This is not how you treat disabled people!

I find it disappointing that this restaurant is not on the center of the city with other restaurants. It could be booming with customers because they have fantastic dishes. We had the Housemade Lemonade that are very refreshing perfect for the summer weather. I had the Jägerschnitzel. It was cooked to my liking and the sauce very tasty, if there weren't other people i could've licked my plate. I like how the Spätzle is cooked, i don't know how it should be. Cause i ate Spätzle before but not like this and this i prefer more. The Venison dish were also very satisfactory, it wasn't dry and cooked perfectly, melts it your mouth. The paired sauce is also perfect not to mention the Lingonberry and Pear on the dish. I also have to mention the Salad. It wasn't the usual greens and carrot. They have microgreens and sesame and the salad sauce which i think has tahini was a breath of fresh air. The service was also good. They were very accommodating. I wish the place could improve that they have more seats. One comment that i will mention is the stairway to the toilet. The Photos are artistic but it's not everybody's cup of tea, especially if you are eating with a kid and they need to go to the toilet. They might have a good scare and never comeback again. Over all it was good experience, definitely worth every cent. You won't regret it.

Four of us had dinner at the Traube and were not disappointed! We haven't eaten such excellent regional food for a long time: interesting side salad that stands out from the usual "green mix" with a subtle, tasty dressing, tender roast deer in a perfectly seasoned sauce and top hand-scraped spaetzle. The desserts were also very tasty! The service was attentive, quick and friendly, and the atmosphere on the terrace was very cozy in the traffic-free city center. Easy parking nearby. We will definitely visit this restaurant again!

Wir waren zu Viert zum Abendessen in der Traube und wurden nicht enttäuscht! So hervorragend regional haben wir schon lange nicht mehr gegessen: Interessanter, vom Üblichen "Grüngemisch" sich abhebender Beilagensalat mit dezentem, schmackhaftem Dressing, butterzarter Hirchbraten in perfekt abgeschmeckter Sauce und top handgeschabte Spätzle, die Nachtische waren ebenfalls sehr lecker! Der Service war aufmerksam, schnell und freundlich, das Ambiente auf der Terrasse sehr gemütlich in der verkehrsfreien Innenstadt. Parkmöglichkeiten problemlos in der Nähe. Wir werden dieses Restaurant auf jeden Fall wieder besuchen!

The food: an absolute highlight! Everything as it should be. Beef broth with marrow dumplings, onion roast and roast venison: a dream and a large portion at that. The alcohol-free Engelchen goes perfectly with everything and the 1521 Klosterbräu even better. The service is great too! We'd love to come back!

Filet und Rostbraten mit Bräunung auf perfekten Garpunkt (medium) gebraten! Die Soße des Rostbratens (Grundsoße aus Kalbsknochen) ein Traum, aber auch die Rahmsoße köstlich. Handschabte Spätzle und Belgischer Frittenschnitt gekonnt! Service aufmerksam und kommunikativ. Wir bekamen im gutbesuchten Lokal ohne Reservierung einen Platz im Freien. Durchgängige Küche! Muß man erleben und wiederkommen...

We spontaneously drove almost an hour to this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend and... it was worth it! Perfect preparation in terms of craftsmanship, taste and appearance. Fillet and roast roast with browning and fried to perfect cooking point (medium)! The roast roast sauce (basic sauce made from veal bones) is a dream, but the cream sauce is also delicious. Skillfully hand-scraped spaetzle and Belgian fries! Service attentive and communicative. We were given a seat outside in the busy restaurant without a reservation. Consistent kitchen! You have to experience it and come back...

Went for lunch. Very courteous service and absolutely good Swabian food. Really good Swabian cuisine. The sauces are a highlight.

I have rarely eaten as well as I did at Traube. I've been there three times now with different company and each time it was exorbitantly good. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the food is served very quickly. Plus large portions. If I could, I would give it six stars

My husband and I ate at Traube this evening. The food was very good until I noticed that a big black beetle was crawling out of my salad, which I had already half eaten. I pointed this out to a waiter. He took my plate and said that was possible since it was organic salad. Organic lettuce should also be washed thoroughly. I was offered a new salad, but I really didn't have any appetite for it anymore. I would have been happy if they had at least offered me a drink as an apology. Of course the bill came in full. The restaurant won't see us again.

Delicious food with fresh ingredients! We had the Uracher loaf dish and the onion roast. The service is very attentive. Our 2 year old son received a child seat and books to pass the time. We keep coming back.

I celebrated my birthday at the Traube restaurant. The preliminary discussion was very qualified and I received very good tips and suggestions. The food and service were simply top. My guests had nothing but praise. I can only warmly recommend Restaurant Traube. A really great location with a top offer.

I was looking for something regional to eat in the evening and found it here. The Uracher favorite dish and the dessert were very tasty! The staff was friendly and quick and I was served even though they were about to close the kitchen, I just arrived quite late. The portion size was also good and I was full. ☺️

It was very tasty, vegetarian dishes, Cheese spaetzle and the roast venison... we were there twice with 4 people. Friendly waitresses!! We'd love to come back.

On Saturday evening the service was super friendly. Food excellent. On Monday evening around 5:30 p.m. without a reservation, we were rudely turned away. And no attempt at a possible solution at all. There were 5 of us and we just wanted to eat.

Delicious and cheap regional food and drink

The food is excellent and very delicate combined with creativity and imagination. The "Cervinia" salad is a real delight for the eye and the palate. The dishes are always freshly prepared. The service is always polite and courteous. An excellent address for good and delicious food from home-style cuisine. All connoisseurs and gourmets should get to know this cuisine.

Very tasty food, friendly staff, left clean and satisfied

We were very satisfied with our visit today and ordered Maultaschen soup and pork loin steak. I found it surprising that all dishes can also be ordered as a small portion and a salad is included, just great :) if we are in the area again, we will definitely stop by.

Normally I give 4 stars for very good 🌟, but what we experienced here today surpasses everything before, it was excellent. A menu was adapted for me because I am not allowed to eat everything due to my health. We will recommend the grape to others and we will come often.

Wir waren heute nach den Wasserfällen dort essen. Und werden auch so wieder nach Bad Urach fahren um dort zu essen! Wirklich ein sehr tolles Lokal mit super tollen und freundlichen Personal (und das durchweg alle!) handwerklich und Geschmacklich feines Essen! Ich hatte den Zwiebelrostbraten und meine Frau den Saibling. Sehr uriges Lokal! Es war uns eine Freude und wir kommen gerne wieder! Und das bald! Bleibt so, denn so gute Lokale werden leider immer weniger! Die Preise sind auch total Fair und wenn man schnell ist bekommt man noch eine Kleinigkeit als Gast Geschenk.

Wir waren heute Abend zum erste Mal in diesem Restaurant Essen und es war mega es hat alles super geschmeckt! Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder hierher zum Essen.

Tolles schwäbisches Essen zu guten Preisen. Auch der Service war schnell und sehr freundlich. Das einzige was fehlt ist der schwäbische Kartoffelsslat ;-) Ansonsten sehr zu empfehlen.

Etwas gehobene Deutsch- schwäbische Küche. Sehr freundlicher Service, Speisen kommen zeitnah an den Tisch, Frische und Geschmack hat absolut überzeugt. Vom sehr deliziösen Gänsebraten mit Rotkohl und Kartoffelkloß kann man eine kleine Portion für 24,50 € bestellen- ist völlig ausreichend. Das Spirituosenangebot ist absolut breitgefächert. Die Weinauswahl überzeugt durch eine sehr große Auswahl an regionalen und überregionalen Weinen die präzise und ausführlich auf der Karte beschrieben werden. Großes Lob an den Koch, sehr zu empfehlen. Hunde sind auch willkommen.

Ein Lokal in modernem, gemütlichen Ambiente. Service sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Getränkebestellung wurde direkt nach dem Platz zuweisen aufgenommen. Während unseres Aufenthalts wurde nach unserer Zufriedenheit, nach weiteren Wünschen, etc. nachgefragt. Es gibt zusätzlich noch Gerichte außerhalb der Speisekarte als Empfehlung. Essen sehr schön präsentiert und es hat prima geschmeckt. Hier werden hochwertige, frische Lebensmuttel verwendet. Wir hatten nicht reserviert, war sehr gut besucht für einen Montagabend. Werden gerne wieder hier einkehren.

Selten so lecker gegessen, das muss ich mal so sagen!!!!!! Die Küche ist Spitze!!!!! Hervorzuheben ist weiterhin der Service, der ist echt der Hammer. Wie sich hier um den Gast gekümmert wird ist echt klasse. Auf den Bildern ist die Metzelsuppe und das Uracher Leibgericht zu sehen. Es war sehr fein.

Gutes Essen. Vielfältige Karte u. Tagesangebote. Auch Vegetarisch, Fleisch u. Fische und Schwäbische Leckereien. Dringend angeraten zu reservieren vorher. Wichtig: Eingeschränkte Gäste können mit Treppenlift zur Toilette transportiert werden. Ein Novum.

This is our favourite place in Bad Urach to eat, I’m Australian and my husband is local to the area. The staff are friendly and the food always delicious. The setting is traditional but not old fashioned and always clean. We recently thought to try somewhere different in Bad Urach and were very disappointed, we will stick with Die Traube every time now.
