That's exactly what you'd expect. Super friendly service, excellent food in a lovely atmosphere. We'd love to come back.

The staff was very friendly, quick, and pointed out special features of the food to us. The food is simply excellent. We had the best and most tender lamb chops ever, with giblets and a fantastic sauce. The vegetables were perfectly roasted and crisp. Before that, we had a beef broth (to die for) with delicious Maultaschen (swabian ravioli). Highly recommended. The shandy was also perfectly mixed and the perfect drink for the warm late summer day. The decor isn't that great, but don't let that fool you :)

As part of our company outing, we reserved a table for 13 people in advance. Full of anticipation for the delicious food, we sat down and were even more surprised when a special group menu was displayed, offering a reduced selection. Upon inquiry, the waitress explained that this had been explained during the telephone booking, which was not the case. However, due to a vegetarian present, we politely asked if it would be possible to choose a dish from the regular menu for him. This was denied and brusquely rejected. After I tried to clarify the matter, a lady came out of the kitchen and explained to me that this would not be possible if every group came. When I pointed out that this was for one person, the restaurant responded after far too much discussion. Thank you very much for this. However, I did not experience genuine hospitality or service here.

I expected a little more from Wiener schnitzel. The prices are a little too high, but there are no serious complaints. The dessert selection is more modest.

We highly recommend this restaurant. The service was exemplary and very friendly. The food was simply perfect. We had veal medallion with fresh chanterelle mushrooms and tagliatelle pasta, followed by dessert: crème brûlée with sorbet and cream, a brownie with raspberries, and vanilla ice cream with cream. Both were truly delicious. An all-round successful visit, thank you very much.

We had a really good meal at this restaurant while on vacation. The service was also excellent, the waiter was attentive and looked after us excellently. The food was delicious. Friendly, humorous staff helped us. They thoughtfully provided reading glasses for my husband, who had forgotten his and whose arm was too short. He said it was due to the "font." And delicious mayonnaise with the fries. You can order small portions, which were a perfect size for us. Beautiful art along the stairs.

Very good food. Great value for money. I had the Uracher signature dish as a small portion. It was perfectly adequate. You can taste that everything is homemade. A fantastic experience! I visited this restaurant today and I'm absolutely thrilled! Even though I didn't have a reservation, I received a warm welcome and was served immediately. The service was truly outstanding – friendly, attentive, and very courteous. The dishes I ordered were simply fantastic! Everything was delicious and perfectly prepared. I highly recommend this restaurant!

The food came quickly, and the portions were more than generous. There was a children's menu for the kids that left nothing to be desired. We sat outside in the shade. We were completely satisfied!

These are truly charming hosts who still value quality and service. My wife has a slight mobility issue. The hostess took such loving care of her and helped her use the stairlift. I ate roast lamb with homemade fries. The meat melted in my mouth, the fries were crispy, and I finished off the sauce with a spoon—a treat. This won't be the last time we visit this restaurant.

A beautiful place. We were sitting across the hall (Ratskeller) and both just wanted a tuna salad... But it was break time, there was nothing to eat, only drinks. We had a drink and thought we'd go across the hall (Restaurant die Traube) for a nice salad, as it was 35 degrees outside. No sooner said than done. We were offered a small table for two, nice, but right next to us was an unpleasant, very, very loud, large table with shouting, so loud you couldn't hear your own voice! Before we could ask, we had to get something to drink... We did, a large water, half a beer. Then, after a while, we asked for a tuna salad or a light salad with bruschetta... for example. We were offered fried zander for €28.90... which we don't eat, and certainly not in this heat. So we had a drink and said no, thank you, to the really lovely waiter... After sitting for three minutes, we were suddenly rudely slapped down on the table by the blonde housekeeper as she walked past! Cell phone off! My husband had been reading something on his cell phone for a minute and then put it aside. The person at the next table was playing with their cell phones at full volume. We somehow didn't understand why the housekeeper was acting like that towards us, just because we weren't eating anything. We don't know. It was sad, and it wasn't a great feeling to be treated like that. A completely unacceptable manner, just because we didn't order anything from the menu. We have NEVER been treated so unfriendly (by the lady of the house who was in charge there). The waiters were the only friendly people there. We finished our drinks, paid, and left. Our feeling there was that we weren't wanted, and we left with that feeling.

Everything was very good. Delicious, friendly, and accommodating. The staff was very knowledgeable about gluten, and I was offered every dish, with slight modifications, of course, so I could have eaten everything. Celiac disease is a very good option.

A great restaurant, centrally located in the old town of Bad Urach, very friendly and attentive staff, super delicious food, beforehand we had an asparagus cream soup that was not extremely thickened, with beautiful fresh asparagus slices, the side salad was a hit with fresh sprouts gave the salad a very special touch. The Maultaschen with the wild garlic sauce was also delicious. The dessert was another highlight, strawberry-rhubarb ragout with vanilla ice cream. A visit is definitely worth it.

Went there today with 12 people. Super nice service and super delicious food. It wasn't our last visit to the Traube! Reservation worked great and a last-minute request to increase the number of people was fortunately not a problem.

A great restaurant. Really good dishes with seasonal ideas. Great staff who offer support to parents with babies. You only see it very rarely anymore.

Restaurant visually and the menu is very appealing. Restaurant is very modern and really nicely decorated. The food was excellent. We had cream slices with spaetzle and pork fillet with a maultaschen, spaetzle and side salad. The side salad really blew me away, sensationally delicious and different, simply a pleasure!!! Spaetzle could have used a little more salt, but that's a matter of taste. Meat was incredibly tender and juicy. You can taste that everything is fresh. Really a big compliment to the kitchen!!! The food was sensationally delicious 😋 Unfortunately, there are two waitresses who are very unfriendly and give you the feeling that they don't feel like working or serving you. Often an annoyed look came into the room from behind the counter. Unfortunately you didn't feel comfortable or welcome. However, it has to be mentioned that not all of the waiters are like that, there was also a very nice man and a lady who were both really very friendly. I think with the right conditions it would really be a top address. What is also worth mentioning is but that didn't bother us at all, Cell phones must be turned to silent!! Children aren't very welcome, are they? A small sign at the entrance area discreetly points this out.

Were here for the first time and sat in the beautiful outdoor area. The food was delicious and the service was very attentive. All in all just perfect.

Unfortunately, we didn't have a chance to rate the food because we were basically turned away on the doorstep. According to the opening times, the restaurant closes at 10 p.m., but apparently you can't get any more food at 8:28 p.m. Absolute disgrace from the service. Incomprehensible. Edit: At least complaints are noticed promptly. But the actual problem is not addressed. Closing time for the kitchen is 9 p.m. in the box and on the homepage. Maybe read it if you don't know your own specifications.

We enjoyed the food, but unfortunately my dessert was thawed and wasn't that good. I personally found the staff nice, but there were two of them who seemed very unpleasant to me and that's why I didn't feel very comfortable there.

Fine Swabian cuisine! Even without a reservation, we still managed to get a spot early on Sunday evening. A table was spontaneously shared so that there were enough seats. All the waitresses were very friendly and quick. Drinks and food were served surprisingly quickly. Onion roast was unusually thin, but still perfectly cooked and tasted very good! The final dessert was also perfect. We can recommend this restaurant! PS: Cleanest toilets in the basement, which can also be used by people with limited mobility via a stair lift.

We went there for dinner for the first time. The food was very, very tasty. Dry aged steak cooked to perfection, the other meals were also very tasty. And finally an affogato. Splendid. And what I love so much is when there is a board in front of the restaurants with food that is not on the "season menu". You have to go there if you want to eat in Bad Urach. Wonderful

The reviews were so good that we decided to give the restaurant a try. We weren't disappointed! Very friendly and competent staff who are happy to advise. Just a few minutes after ordering, the side salad arrived with an excellent dressing. For the main course I had char with boiled potatoes and my husband had onion roast with spaetzle and Maultaschen. The only criticism would be that the thickness of onion roast was a bit too thin. The taste of the food was delicious. Would love to eat here again when we are in Bad Urach. The food was very good, also regional. What I really liked was that the waitress was really knowledgeable about gluten-free, and the advice was really top notch.

There is a lot of pork, which not everyone likes. And there is a lot of cream in the sauces. The food is still good, even in terms of the portion. The usually most inconspicuous thing, namely the side salad, is actually good. Even without cream, yoghurt or similar sauces.

Very tasty food, super friendly service. However, the price-performance ratio for the small dishes is not good. With Uracher's favorite dish, the small dish costs €2 less and you get exactly half the normal portion and no salad. I thought that was a shame!

I have been there several times and can recommend the restaurant 100%. Swabian cuisine with great quality. The food always tastes very good and is served beautifully presented. The service staff are super nice and attentive.

What can we say, thank you very much, we felt really comfortable. Our daughter has celiac disease and we were really taken into consideration when we made the reservation and said we would find something. But we were so pleasantly surprised. The waiter was so knowledgeable and told us directly what she could eat and how it was prepared. He even pointed out the contamination with the salad. The food was really, really tasty. We actually didn't want dessert at all, but since there was still gluten-free dessert written on the wall, we couldn't leave without dessert. And we have no regrets. Really great. We are from the catering industry ourselves and appreciate so much that we discovered such a great restaurant. THANKS

The restaurant is really nice and clean. Staff is nice and the food was made quickly. Unfortunately I had to realize that the quality of the food is German... Selling ready-made schnitzels from the freezer as fresh Viennese is critical for me.

Very tasty food in a rustic environment! The service was very nice, we arrived shortly before 7 and were still allowed to use the “normal” day ticket upon request. We were very satisfied and would like to come back.

Today on October 7th, 2024 the two of us spontaneously went to dinner in the Traube. We got a seat without a reservation. The service team welcomed us in a friendly manner, took our order and the drinks soon came to our table. I chose Urach's favorite dish and my wife chose chanterelles with Maultaschen. The side salad and the meal didn't take long to arrive and both tasted very good. We were very satisfied with the service and the quality of the food, and the wine and beers were also impressive. Thank you for the lovely evening in the Traube restaurant!

We spontaneously looked for a place to stop for an anniversary on the holiday and were more than happy with our choice afterwards. The telephone reservation was quick and friendly, so we could relax in the evening Masque “The Grape”. Our reserved seat was quickly assigned to us. The very friendly service staff took our order quickly. While we were still sipping the first sip of red wine, the very tasty, crunchy side salad with a really tasty dressing arrived. A few forks later, our hot food was brought to us in a friendly manner. We chose Urach's favorite dish: Pork medallions with fresh stone mushrooms from Ehestetten in Rahmsößle, Maultaschen, spaetzle from the board and a colorful salad were chosen, which was definitely a very tasty decision, thanks to the kitchen. The meat, rosy and buttery tender, the Maultaschen spicy and the sauce, a poem. We were also very attentive when we asked if we wanted more sauce with our delicious spaetzle. Unfortunately, we were full after this delicious meal, which is why we unfortunately didn't have any more dessert. In terms of price, we found the card to be more than fair and even cheap. Even after leaving, the service was still excellent....so with/without cell phone '-) We'd love to come back!

At 7.30 p.m. there was already no more hot food. I have actually never experienced such poor service anywhere.

The food and service is great. But the fact that you have 3 different menus is more than confusing! As a guest, you are sometimes presented with a menu with fewer than 10 different main courses. Then there are also menus that contain many more dishes. These dishes are simply not available, or at a different time. As I said, our table of more than 8 people didn't understand this logic.

Today we were in the Traube with 11 people. We weren't sitting properly yet and accidentally left our backpacks on the 2-person table behind us because it was really tight and we barely had any space. We were rudely attacked by the waitress. Then someone came to take the food and drink. This was quite friendly the first time but became unfriendly the second time I asked. When the food was served, no one came to ask if everything was okay or if anything else was needed. My spaetzle and champions were lukewarm or cold. My husband's roast venison was very fatty. Even after the meal, the tour came again. Anyone else want something to drink or dessert? We had the feeling that it was too much again. Even when we asked if the children's food could be packed, these plates were left on the table for at least 10 minutes... Too bad... No one came to the table as long as we were sitting there and the backpack had to be taken away immediately... If you have a bad day you shouldn't take it out on your guests

In my opinion, one of the best gravies I've ever tasted. Schnitzel is a bit too thick for me and could be pounded a bit more. But it's just a personal preference.

I was in the restaurant today and wanted to go with a disabled companion. We wanted to have a nice afternoon, but they didn't want to give my companion the opportunity to use the toilet (walker due to an operation) even though there was an elevator. And it culminated in pointing us to the restaurant opposite: it was better there because there were only a few stairs. I was so annoyed by this way of treating guests with disabilities! I will definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone. This is not how you treat disabled people!

I find it disappointing that this restaurant is not on the center of the city with other restaurants. It could be booming with customers because they have fantastic dishes. We had the Housemade Lemonade that are very refreshing perfect for the summer weather. I had the Jägerschnitzel. It was cooked to my liking and the sauce very tasty, if there weren't other people i could've licked my plate. I like how the Spätzle is cooked, i don't know how it should be. Cause i ate Spätzle before but not like this and this i prefer more. The Venison dish were also very satisfactory, it wasn't dry and cooked perfectly, melts it your mouth. The paired sauce is also perfect not to mention the Lingonberry and Pear on the dish. I also have to mention the Salad. It wasn't the usual greens and carrot. They have microgreens and sesame and the salad sauce which i think has tahini was a breath of fresh air. The service was also good. They were very accommodating. I wish the place could improve that they have more seats. One comment that i will mention is the stairway to the toilet. The Photos are artistic but it's not everybody's cup of tea, especially if you are eating with a kid and they need to go to the toilet. They might have a good scare and never comeback again. Over all it was good experience, definitely worth every cent. You won't regret it.

Wir waren zu Viert zum Abendessen in der Traube und wurden nicht enttäuscht! So hervorragend regional haben wir schon lange nicht mehr gegessen: Interessanter, vom Üblichen "Grüngemisch" sich abhebender Beilagensalat mit dezentem, schmackhaftem Dressing, butterzarter Hirchbraten in perfekt abgeschmeckter Sauce und top handgeschabte Spätzle, die Nachtische waren ebenfalls sehr lecker! Der Service war aufmerksam, schnell und freundlich, das Ambiente auf der Terrasse sehr gemütlich in der verkehrsfreien Innenstadt. Parkmöglichkeiten problemlos in der Nähe. Wir werden dieses Restaurant auf jeden Fall wieder besuchen!

Four of us had dinner at the Traube and were not disappointed! We haven't eaten such excellent regional food for a long time: interesting side salad that stands out from the usual "green mix" with a subtle, tasty dressing, tender roast deer in a perfectly seasoned sauce and top hand-scraped spaetzle. The desserts were also very tasty! The service was attentive, quick and friendly, and the atmosphere on the terrace was very cozy in the traffic-free city center. Easy parking nearby. We will definitely visit this restaurant again!

The food: an absolute highlight! Everything as it should be. Beef broth with marrow dumplings, onion roast and roast venison: a dream and a large portion at that. The alcohol-free Engelchen goes perfectly with everything and the 1521 Klosterbräu even better. The service is great too! We'd love to come back!
