Minigolf in Bad Urach

July 1, 2023: Wow, what a surprise! After our round at the neighboring mini-golf course, we actually just wanted to stroll into town to grab a pizza each. On the way there, we passed the Hotel Café Restaurant Buck. The menu posted outside really appealed to us – dishes that aren't served the same way everywhere. My son chose the Gaisburger Marsch, I wanted to try a real Wiener Schnitzel again, and my wife chose the sea bass from the weekly specials. A reasonable amount of time later, the dishes arrived: beautifully presented and wonderful in both flavor and texture! The Wiener Schnitzel was excellent, and the fish was fried to perfection. The desserts that followed were no less delicious! We hadn't expected such excellent service; in the past, I'd only known this place as a café in a second-rate location. We'll gladly return and try the other delicacies on the menu! A definite recommendation! 👍👍👍 Update 10.09.2023: We were guests again today and were not disappointed this time either! 👍👍👍 Update 19.09.2025: And we did it again. The four of us celebrated my son's master's degree and had a great time. I had two appetizers and the half farm duck – excellent! My wife had the king oyster mushrooms, my son the wild venison strips, and my daughter the pike-perch fillet. Everyone in the family was thrilled! The Hotel Buck offers fine dining! Of course, you can eat delicious food elsewhere for less money – but not at this high level of quality! A tip: The beetroot carpaccio is a truly exquisite and sophisticated appetizer! Once again, this restaurant visit was a culinary experience!

If you like garlic, you'll love the Mici here. They're freshly prepared (no imported frozen food). There's also a delicious menu for the vegetarians among us. It's a quiet, traditional atmosphere with appropriate music. The kids enjoyed a large, fresh schnitzel.

Imaginative, high-quality menus, attentive and very friendly service. A successful evening. We felt very comfortable!

That's exactly what you'd expect. Super friendly service, excellent food in a lovely atmosphere. We'd love to come back.
