Minigolf in Bad Urach

Whaaaat a pearl of a place in the middle of Swabian nowhere. The restaurant deserves a Michelin Star. The service is excellent. The hotel has cosy, clean, modern and very reasonable priced rooms. The owners are unbelievably nice people! I loved everything about my stay at the ‘Bischoff’s’!

Nice service, rustic ambiance, but as a true Swabian, I have one major criticism of the sauces served: I ordered pork fillet with cream sauce and croquettes. Gravy (for some reason, it was called gravy) was also served with it. For me, the sauce is absolutely essential, but what I got here was two packets of sauce and something like water. The taste was a total disaster. The fillet and the side salad were great, but the watery sauce completely ruined the dish! The gravy was also abysmal and watery. That was extremely disappointing for me, and I wonder how they can serve something like that in the Alb region. It's a shame we won't be coming back with sauces like that!

Very nice atmosphere, attentive and very friendly staff. Excellent food, good value for money, would gladly return.

Super schönes Restaurant. Wir hatten ein Spargelmenü - Vorspeise 1 und 2 waren wirklich Oberklasse und dann kam die Hauptspeise - Spargel war schlichtweg nicht gar sogar manche noch hart. Der Hinweis wurde abgetan: Ich gebe der Küche Bescheid. Das war’s. Nachtisch war wieder sehr lecker. Wir wären gerne wieder gekommen, aber wenn das wichtigste Essen, der Hauptgang und dazu noch der Spargel (kann man doch eigentlich nix falsch machen?) nicht gut ist… trauen wir uns nicht mehr. Vor allem für den Preis.
