Restaurant "Dianakeller" in Fulda

Thank you so much for the great service and friendliness, we had a wonderful evening with delicious food and attentive staff.

The service was very friendly, and I had a lovely birthday dinner. The food was very good, and everyone enjoyed it. The ambiance of this vaulted cellar is cozy and unique. I highly recommend it.

Seit lange Zeit nicht mehr so einen exzellenten Service und ein so gutes Essen gehabt. Meine Frau und ich wohnten im Hotel, und obwohl Fulda sehr viele gute Restaurants hat, die wir teils ebenfalls besucht hatten, gingen wir an diesem Abend in den Dianakeller, und es war seit Monaten das beste Lokal!!! Wir wurden von Herrn Arab empfangen und zu unserem Tisch geführt, und ab diesem Moment war der Service dieses Herren OUTSTANDING!!! Ohne aufdringlich zu sein, war es vom Platzieren bis zur Rechnung der beste Service seit langem (und wir besuchen viele gute Restaurants). Auch das Essen im Dianakeller war extrem gut. Sowohl meine „Tagliarini in Trüffelsahne mit gebratenen Riesengarnelen“ - sehr zu empfehlen. Als auch das „Zanderfilet gebraten auf Champagnerkraut und Pommes Dauphine“ ebenfalls sehr zu empfehlen. Dazu gab es einen sehr guten und frischen Weißburgunder. Hier vergebe ich gerne fünf Sterne, sowohl für den Service als auch für Speisen und Getränke.

The food is solid; from a Dianakeller, I would have expected a bit more hunting cuisine. Perhaps more than fusion. Nevertheless, the food was good and everything was delicious. The Caesar salad was more Italian than the American version (although I prefer the New York version). Personally, I like bolder seasonings and surprising elements in the food, things I couldn't cook at home – hence the 4*, although it could certainly be a 5 for people without Michelin-starred cooking classes. I would go to the restaurant again on my next stay in Fulda.

We had booked a table online at short notice, which worked well. We arrived promptly at 6 p.m. when the restaurant opened. The waiter was very polite and attentive, creating a pleasant atmosphere and, initially, providing excellent service. Unfortunately, this changed as the number of guests increased. The waiter made increasingly long pauses, and we rarely saw him. Although he informed us that the food would take about 20 minutes, it ended up taking 40. Despite having an appetizer, the main course arrived very late. Since we were planning to see a performance by Gerd Dudenhöffer in the adjacent ballroom at 8 p.m. that evening, time was becoming very tight. The main course arrived shortly after 7 p.m., by which time everything had already been finished at the neighboring tables. When, at 7:30 p.m., despite looking around for almost 15 minutes, no one from the staff appeared to prepare the bill, we decided to accommodate them and wait at the front, which they didn't seem to appreciate and viewed with suspicion. ... We finally managed to get out at 7:40 pm and freshen up quickly at the hotel. The food itself was good. The onion soup was delicious, as was the roast pork. However, the skin on the duck wasn't crispy but rather soggy and leathery. The ambiance is great, and the music is fitting. Wi-Fi is free and fast. It's a shame that the service seemed overwhelmed. They could have asked if we were going to an event at the hotel and thus accommodated the guest. Unfortunately, I can only give 3 points for service because of the high standards they couldn't maintain towards the end. The dishes are solid and tasty, but nothing special. Vegetarian options are offered, but they aren't the main focus. Parking is available in the hotel's underground garage, but it's not free.

The food is okay, nothing more. The waiters try hard, but are completely uncoordinated. We were asked for our order several times by different waiters without anything happening. Then our forks were forgotten, then no steak forks were brought, then it took a very long time for the drinks to arrive, and so on. The welcome from the kitchen was omitted because the bread was gone. The roast was also gone. Overall, there's a lot of room for improvement; perhaps we just picked the wrong day. There are many good alternatives in Fulda for the price.

Very beautiful cellar vault with individually designed seating areas featuring photo motifs. Comfortable chairs and benches. Small food selection. All dishes tasted excellent. For me, the drinks could have been a bit colder. Very professional and friendly service with a touch of humor. Dignified, upscale atmosphere. Beautiful dishes. Proper, sturdy cutlery. The parking garage is very narrow for a larger car. Everything is spotlessly clean, as you would expect from a hotel. Beautiful statues and paintings. The cellar vault ceiling is impressive.

Overall, everything was fine. 3 minor things I also shared with the team: 1. Cleanliness: Finger-thick dust on the figurines, lamps, and wooden benches: It looks like the cleaning company only cleans surfaces and floors. I'm really not picky, but that's not possible. 2. If a burger costs more than €20, the bun can be warm or have seen the oven ;o) 3. If a burger costs more than €20, I would expect a bit of sophistication—even if it's just a pot of poured-over ketchup and mayo—and not find two plastic bags on the plate like you'd find at a chip shop. It was cozy, and it tasted good, too ;o)

Das Essen war sehr lecker. Das Ambiente im Dianakeller ist wirklich toll. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die freundlichen Kellner, die wirklich sehr fleißig und zuvorkommend waren. Man hat sich sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Gegen Ende unseres Besuchs wurde es im Restaurant voller, wodurch der Service etwas länger gedauert hat. Aber wenn man schön Essen gehen möchte, nimmt man sich auch die Zeit. Daher trotzdem volle Punktzahl.

Nehmt Abstand von der Rinderkraftbrühe! Hat geschmeckt wie heisses Sonnenblumenöl pur. Alberner Gruß aus der Küche. Billiges Brot mit Butter. Burger war kalt und langweilig. Schnitzel war mittelmäßig. Nur der Gurkensalat war gut. Kein zweites Mal. Service war nett; Atmosphäre auch.

Food perfect, service slightly overwhelmed, but all tables were occupied and the staff had a lot of work to do (too few staff?) The ambience is remembered - that's how it has to be. Toilets very clean!! Thank you for the lovely evening

Nach schlechten Erfahrungen in den Touristenlokalen von Fulda hatten wir 2 Plätze im Dianakeller (Hotel Maritim) für ein Abendessen reserviert. Das Ambiente des Gewölbekellers ist sehenswert. Wir wurden von einer sehr freundlichen Dame empfangen, die uns zu unserem Tisch führte. Dann übernahm ein ebenfalls sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Kellner den weiteren Service. Das Angebot an Speisen war begrenzt aber absolut ausreichend. Wir haben uns für den Zander mit Safranrisotto und das Wiener Schnitzel entschieden. Beide Gerichte schmeckten ausgezeichnet. Zum Dessert gab es dann den Ziegenkäse, der eine uneingeschränkte Empfehlung verdient. Wir können den Dianakeller allen ans Herz legen, die sich nicht weiter in den Touristenlokalen über schlechten Service und schlechtes Essen ärgern wollen.

At the Maritim Hotel Fulda there is the Diana Cellar in the vaulted cellar of the Orangery. Impressive furnishings and very comfortable. The service is excellent, attentive and in the background. At the right moment, but immediately with one. The menu is supplemented by seasonal dishes. Very good food and also a good recommendation for the accompanying wine.

Mysig lokal i en källare med valv. Servitören var super trevlig och gjorde verkligen vår upplevelse ännu bättre. Jag åt tryffelpastan med scampi var jätte gott . Min man åt schnitzel och barnen Nuggets . Alla nöjda . Stor god efterrätt med. Kan tänka mig det är svårt att hitta dit då det ligger i källaren på slottet. Värt ett besök .

Delicious good food, the waiter took care of us as if we were sitting in his kitchen. The restaurant had a very cozy German feel. The restaurant offered lollipops to the kids afterwards

Service was great, the ambience was great, including the music from the portable radio. Unfortunately, the kitchen did not meet our expectations. Quality and quality were ok but that was it. Therefore only 3 stars, even considering price and performance.

Gasthaus = Haus wo sich der Gast sich Wohlfühlen soll, wurde zu 100% erfüllt Waren eben dort Essen, und wir müssen entgegen allen Kritikern sagen hier war alles Perfekt. Essen war Super Ambiente Unschlagbar Und der Kellner war an Höflichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit nicht zu übertreffen An alle Campingfreunde Wer seine Frau mal gut zum Essen ausführen möchte sollte mal den Diana Keller besuchen!!! Wenn wir mal wieder in Fulda sind, werden wir auf jeden Fall wieder hin gehen. Ps wir wurden nicht von Google gekauft , das ist unsere Persönliche Meinung :) :) :)

Das Ambiente war sehr schön und die Bedienung sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der Gruß aus der Küche könnte einfältiger sein als Brot mit Butter und auch von den Hauptgängen waren wir etwas enttäuscht. Das Curry war nicht sonderlich geschmackvoll und auch das Zanderfilet wurde nicht warm serviert und war geschmacklich nur mittelmäßig. Aufgrund besserer Erfahrung bei vorherigen Besuchen trotzdem 4 Sterne!

Wir haben eine kleine Familiengeburtstagsfeier spontan in den Dianakeller verlegt. Schön gedeckter Tisch, eine überschaubare, völlig ausreichende Karte , tolle Gerichte und ein sehr aufmerksamer, „schwungvoller“ Service haben uns einen sehr schönen Abend bereitet!

Wir sind gestern eigens aus Würzburg angereist, um zu viert im Dianakeller Fulda gediegen zu speisen. Wir waren uneingeschränkt begeistert: einzigartiges Ambiente, leckeres Hummer-Süppchen, superzarte Entenbrust, superzarter Hirschbraten, "mächtiger" Maritim-Burger. Dazu ein Kellner "alter" Schule mit erlesenen Manieren, bei dem Beruf, Service und Dienst am Menschen noch echte Berufung ist. Das -wenn man bedenkt, wie die Preise allgemein angezogen haben, bei moderaten Preisen. Wir kommen definitiv wieder und großes Kompliment an das Management! Vergleichbares kann man lange suchen! Sehr zu empfehlen.

De ambiance is absoluut uniek en een meerwaarde. Ook het personeel is zeer gastvrij. Helaas was het eten ver beneden de maat. Als het zelfs niet lukt om de frietjes en kipnuggets van de kinderen voldoende te frituren, dan ben je een voldoende beoordeling niet waard. Tot overmaat van ramp zelf de dag erna buikgriep gekregen, vermoedelijk van het slechte eten. Jammer maar absoluut een no-go.

Der Dianakeller ist ein echtes Erlebnis. Der Service ist fabelhaft und das Essen ist wahnsinnig köstlich. Das Ambiente ist total charmant aber trotzdem gehoben. Absolute Empfehlung!

Eine sehr besondere Location! Ein alter Keller, rustikal eingerichtet aber mit Charme! Die Preise sind sehr human! Qualität sehr gut! Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den Service. Wir hatten eine Kollegin am Tisch, die kein Gluten verträgt. Der Kellner hat alles geregelt und die Küche hat extra eine Mahlzeit für die Kollegin zusammengestellt. Sehr freundlich! Volle Empfehlung!

Ambiente und Service sehr gut, allerdings das Essen, nach unserem Geschmack, nur mittelmäßig. Das Lamm war zu durch, das Baguette vorab und das Brot zum Steak wirkten wie vom Discounter dazu gekauft. Alles in Allem ok (mehr nicht), aber dafür stimmte, unserer Ansicht nach, das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht.

Wir waren durch unseren Hotelaufenthalt an zwei aufeinander folgenden Abenden zum essen dort und waren hellauf begeistert, sehr gutes Essen und sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal... Herzlichen Dank für zwei sehr schöne Abende

The place is lovely and it has a great service. The waiter was very kind. We ordered the Cesar Salad with vegan chicken and it was excellent.

Leckeres Essen und Trinken Bedienung sehr freundlich. Preise etwas zu hoch. Daher nur 4 Sterne Mundschutz wird eher als Accessoire am Kinn und Hals getragen. Am Ende des Abends ganz weglassen...

Exquisite Küche, Top Mitarbeiter, sehr stimmige Einrichtung und angemessene Preise, was will man mehr? Sehr zu empfehlen!

Das Ambiente ist super, die Bedienung ebenfalls - der Kellner war sehr aufmerksam undhöflich! Das Essen war allerdings unterirdisch schlecht. Die Pfifferlingsuppe war noch ok, aber die Spätzle mit Rindergulasch und Pfifferlingen war kein Pfifferling wert. Es waren nur 5 Pfifferlinge vorhanden... Das arg. Rumpsteak mit dem Spargel und den Kartoffeln war wirklich eine Frechheit - Steak well done (ok kann passieren), Spargel Tiefkühltruhe von Iglo und die Kartoffeln aus der Tüte (noch nicht einmal aus dem Glas) und die Tüte lag bestimmt ein Monat offen rum!!! Sehr gut war dann, dass das Steak nicht berechnet wurde, deshalb und wegen dem Kellner zwei Sterne.
