Super friendly, and always up for a joke. Plus, the delicious, down-to-earth, homemade food – always a delight! You can tell that the family has been running the place with heart and soul for decades. The quiet, cozy garden is a particular delight in the summer.

This is a superb, beautiful, and very pleasant restaurant with truly delicious food and drinks. I know it's all a matter of taste, and everyone, or many, tastes are different. We all enjoyed our meal immensely. It has a very nice, old-world decor. We, at least, like the decor and the location. The staff are super nice, friendly, and helpful. We called them to order a meal, we were at the sch.clinic hospital hungry, we didn't eat anything all day! First, a man answered, later he gave us a throaty, manly woman, she reluctantly took our order before she stopped, I've never heard such curses in my life! I just ran out of text! I called again to cancel the order, but they didn't answer and I didn't even go to them to get food for my money, no one will sell me something that isn't from the heart!

Anyone looking for Croatian food can't miss this place. A classic and excellent restaurant, an institution. I discovered this gem by chance, craving some grilled specialties from the Balkans. The meat and the selection are excellent. The wine and dessert (homemade pastries) are top-notch. The rustic ambiance in the vaulted cellar with its wonderful garden terrace overlooking the courtyard is also particularly noteworthy, as is the engaging, old-school style of the host, Peter: sharp, darkly humorous, cosmopolitan, warm, and authentically charming – without any pretense or snark. It's a place where you can linger and quickly feel at home.

Today we visited this restaurant for the first, but also last, time. We've eaten at many Croatian-Balkan restaurants, but we weren't particularly impressed here—there are definitely much, much better ones. The atmosphere is pleasant; a typically Balkan-style restaurant with pleasant, beautiful, and quiet music in the background. The staff is friendly, except for the lady who also serves—I think she's the boss—who obviously discriminates between guests. When we noticed this difference, we decided to leave without dessert. The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable, too.

A place with a great atmosphere and service. They have very good beer. We ordered the Winner schnitzel (pork chop) with salad and fries – very good. The next course was goulash with cabbage and potatoes, which turned out to be simply Polish bigos – very tasty, I recommend it.

Always a delight... Quaint and authentic, with staff that has grown old with its guests. Family-like and incredibly friendly. Food you look forward to, which has been consistently good for over 20 years. I was happy to eat there again with my family after a long time. Apparently, it's a pleasure that's finally over, since the building in which the restaurant is located has changed ownership... It would be nice if the restaurant continued to have a home there...

We visited the restaurant and were delighted! We had a Dalmatian Teller for one person and a veal steak with a mushroom sauce – the portions were generous, perfectly prepared and extremely tasty. The meat was tender, the sauce was tasty and finely balanced. We would especially like to commend the staff, who were extremely kind, helpful and professional – from the first moment to the end of the visit we felt very comfortable and welcome. Highly recommended to everyone who loves good food and top-notch service. We will definitely be back!🤗

I've known this restaurant for over 50 years, and it still has the same beautifully maintained decor. The food is still authentic, the service is excellent, and it's very cozy. The garden is a dream for me, especially when the weather's nice. But unfortunately, it's rare to get a seat without a reservation, which is understandable.

Wow, the best restaurant in Munich! Bold statement but true. Family owned business with father son and daughter. They are amazing! They treat you like family. The team have all worked there for years and just superb. The food. It is incredible! From steak with crispy onions, to burgers stuffed with sheep cheese or a local schnitzel it rocks. The place is always busy with locals. Their English is great! Their pancakes at the end are a game changer! Fantastic, family fun restaurant

We have been loyal regulars for over 10 years and regularly enjoy the excellent food, which can also be easily changed with side dishes, vegetables or salad. A traditionally run restaurant run by a family who are always present with a lot of heart and humor. This kind of regular culture with great food and friendly hospitality doesn't happen often anymore, so we remain loyal to you and are very attached to you!

The fries are overly greasy, which happens when the oil is too old. Crowd overall sad. Left a restaurant hungry but paid 20 euros for the dish. I hope it was just a one-time mishap. I'm going to eat something at home now.

Came here as a group of four. Though the food was good, the service was simply awful and I would recommend everyone reading this to TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. The reason: We were brought four dishes at some point in the evening, timely. Granted we don't speak Croatian and were enjoying the atmosphere and wine, we accepted what was brought assuming it was correct and began eating. Some minutes passed and in the middle of our meal, another dish arrived. After some discussion, we collectively figured out that it should have been delivered originally. The waiter then angrily reprimanded my friend, claiming that he shouldn't have accepted the other dish if he hadn't ordered it. Better yet, the waiter turned to the table of two next to us and proceeded to say "These tourists don't know what they are eating. Now you must wait." He said this in German. I suppose he assumed (incorrectly) that we do not speak the language. He then turned to our table and blamed us once again for taking the dish and said, "Now THEY must wait. Enjoy your meal!" He was a jerk the rest of the night, blaming his incompetence on us several times. This completely ruined our experience. My sole recommendation to restaurant staff is to take responsibility for your actions. If you make a mistake, NEVER BLAME GUESTS for your incompetence. This is service 101 and it is honestly incredible to me that any business would make it without practicing these basics. At some point, even the taste of the food sours when you've been made to feel like we did.

Service is terrible. They are insulted because the waiters cannot bring the right drinks and food to the right table. In the 8 years I've lived in Munich, I've never been treated so badly in a restaurant. Never again.

Discovered by chance as we were spontaneously looking for something for lunch after visiting a theater nearby. The rustic atmosphere and great atmosphere of the service staff as well as very tasty food made the visit a complete success. To say goodbye there was a schnapps on the house. We'd love to come back!

It was my first time in this restaurant and I was immediately won over. From kindness to professionalism, everything was at the highest level. The ambiance of the restaurant, which has retained its retro style, is fantastic. The food was melting in the mouth - I followed the waiter's recommendation and I was not wrong. All in all, a 5+ rating. The only problem can be finding a parking space, so it is better to come by public transport.

Since the price is not stated as an additional category here, I can only give five stars for all individual categories, but overall only four stars due to the extremely expensive dishes. The restaurant is a classy Croatian restaurant that has the service, quality of the food and ambience (especially outside) to perfection, but is just a bit too expensive for my taste. You have to open your wallet wide to be able to stop here. Nevertheless, the quality and the atmosphere justify the price. One of the best, albeit most expensive, Croatians in Munich.

Extremely friendly and funny waiter, food delicious and plentiful and the waiter offered to combine two dishes that we wanted to share. We absolutely loved the Krautsalat, recommended by the waiter as a side to our meat dishes. Brilliant. Very cozy and lively atmosphere.
