Had dinner with our daughter yesterday. A big plus point is the great children's menu, which comes separately with puzzles and a coloring picture and colored pencils on the back. The food was also really good and the service was very friendly and child-friendly.

Honestly, it wasn't bad, but the other reviews and prices suggested better.

Hello, we were in the bridge today and were looked after by the extremely friendly and attentive service staff - that made our visit particularly pleasant and is unfortunately no longer a given these days. A big compliment to the entire team! The atmosphere is unique and very inviting. For starters we had the fish soup – absolutely recommended! My wife chose the goat cheese and also loved it. The fish dishes and desserts were excellent and rounded off our culinary experience perfectly. However, there is still room for improvement when it comes to dessert; unfortunately a ready-made product was used here. Conclusion: We would love to come back – not least because of the great service!

The food is of extremely high quality in terms of taste and quality. There is nothing wrong with the service. The location is furnished and decorated with a lot of love 🤍 The only slightly negative thing is the portion size, which could be more of a “pensioner’s portion”. The amount of fish and seafood is perfectly fine, but we would have liked more side dishes (fried potatoes). Otherwise a clear recommendation!😊

Interesting restaurant with a very maritim feeling. Food was excellent and service too. One little problem. The Chef was unhappy with something and was loud at one point. Not so good when you have an open kitchen.

After many years of enjoying going to the Brücke, and especially appreciating the good quality and good value for money, today was my last visit. The menu has shrunk considerably and, compared to December 2024, the price level has increased by around 25% (4 frozen prawns €16.50/Finkenwerder plaice €36). Unfortunately, the quality of the food was mediocre to inferior. When I asked, I was informed of a change of ownership and the statement "everything is new". My criticism of the poor quality of the food was noted by our server. It's a shame that the Brücke, as a guarantee of good fish and quality as such, no longer exists.

Yesterday evening a group of 25 people visited the restaurant for the first time and it was great!!! Our group mainly chose fish and booked the very special event...fish directly from the smoker near the table. About 10 people each were allowed to go to the oven and try some lukewarm fish to start with, before it was served at the table with salad and fried potatoes, which were really delicious. Beforehand, there was a forkful of salmon and a bruschetta with goat cheese at the table...delicious appetizer! The staff was friendly and uncomplicated...the boss at the smoker too! Simply great!!! A little bread with the fish would have been even better, but even without bread it was a treat that we can recommend...the people who didn't order fish were, as far as we heard, also enthusiastic. The restaurant itself has a nice maritime atmosphere and invites you to linger.

Table in the very last corner - it was like pike soup - another y table was offered to us after the drinks and starters were there - too late - fish soup was delicious, smoked salmon too - unfortunately there are no senior portions - that limits the food order very unfortunate and very annoying

The restaurant is a little out of the way, but there is enough parking space. The decoration is in a beautiful marine style and is inviting. The service is typically North German, direct but polite. The food is very good and the fish tastes very good and seems fresh. You have the opportunity to buy various things on site, such as house-smoked fish or spices. All in all, we enjoy going there and will continue to enjoy going there.

A beautiful restaurant. Very harmoniously and comfortably furnished. I rarely, if ever, like wooden paneling on the inside, but here in this restaurant it was very nice, very cozy and the wooden interior exuded a pleasant atmosphere. We were a group of around 20 people, but the service team still managed to serve our food evenly hot! The food, especially the fish dishes, was very, very tasty! And the food was not only very tasty, it was absolutely acceptable in terms of price 🙂! Plus the excellent, very friendly and fast service team - it was a nice day! It was a celebration again to come here and eat fish. I had loop de mer and fried potatoes. Again nicely fried fish without much fat and well seasoned. We will be happy to come back and take a 3-hour drive to do so.

A wonderful place, such friendly service, we really enjoyed the food. We had nothing to complain about! In summer you can sit outside, we will definitely come back again. I had smoked salmon with potato pancakes, number 30 on the menu, I would order it again. I got full without the waistband being tight 😅 - see picture.

You are asked to sit at the table and just watch how other guests are being served instead of being given a card so that you can take a look at it in peace, you only see the other people's food and as you leave the waitress says "if you don't can wait" Not again

We ate there for the first time with friends on Sunday. Very friendly staff and very attractive atmosphere. Even our XXL dogs (2 Landseer) were welcome, which is not always the case due to their size. The meal was excellent. When we're back in the area, we'll definitely come back again.

I looked through the reviews with less than 5 stars because I was wondering... You should simply delete the unfair whining of these people who haven't arrived in 2024 yet ;-) The three of us were here for the first time today the fish stall in the outer harbor closed early. We were without exception surprised and thrilled! This excellent restaurant can ABSOLUTELY allow itself that the prices here are not fish stall prices but restaurant prices. Fried mussels with scrambled eggs and fried potatoes with salad for under €20 (they had to help me make the portion) is absolutely inexpensive, with such TOP quality. Open kitchen, great ambience, a very friendly boss... I'd love to come back!

It would be even better if the ventilation in the kitchen area worked (better?). The guest room (and then also the clothes) smelled very strongly of kitchen/grease. The service is on point and really in a good mood. 🤗

We had fish there for lunch. We can warmly recommend the restaurant, very tasty. After a walk, we drank coffee on the outside terrace and enjoyed the last rays of sunshine. The decoration is very original, maritime - in keeping with the area.

Located right on the coast, you can find everything your North Sea culinary heart desires here, all in a gigantic seafaring-fishing atmosphere. There is also a beer garden or terrace, as you wish, right on the water. The food was excellent, combined with the friendly and fast staff, the whole thing was a highly recommended experience. I had to look for a Frisian restaurant up here for a long time that offered typical Frisian food. I am absolutely thrilled with what is on offer here! In a beautifully romantically prepared ambience you get lovingly prepared food, accompanied by great service that caters to your guests' every wish! I have never had sea bass prepared so well. The price-performance ratio is absolutely justified and we will definitely come back ❤️

If you like eating fish, definitely go there. But they also offer meat dishes. The fried potatoes are absolutely delicious. The service is very nice and sometimes has a funny saying. Bedienung freundlich. Essen, in dem Fall ein Schnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln unterirdisch, weil alles in Fett schwamm. Ist mir auf den Magen geschlagen. Beilagensalat unappetitlich. Die Deko, ein Sammelsurium aus vermeintlichen Seemannsdevotionalien muss man mögen. Alles etwas abgestoßen. Terrasse ganz ok. Typische Gastronomie für die Region, eben so lala.

We were on a bike ride and were forced to hide somewhere due to bad weather. Then we found this restaurant on Google. Looking at it from the outside, we didn't expect much from the culinary and ambience. We were all the more surprised when we entered the restaurant. The room looked very cozy, inviting, pleasant and the terrace was magical. Just fits the surroundings. Food delicious, portions generous and nicely decorated. Service patient and very nice. The young gesture has also been thought of to brighten up the waiting time. Food came quickly and people kept asking if everything was ok. I would love to go back if it wasn't so far from home 😟.

The quality of food and service has been consistent over the years, the fish, some smoked in-house, is always excellently prepared, portions are generous, all sorts of in-house schnapps/liqueurs can also be tried and purchased, the ambience is beautiful and nautically rustic, even if it is a bit old The price is often impressive, but acceptable for the performance received.

We sat on the wonderful terrace right by the water. The food/drinks were perfect. Unfortunately we had to wait a long time for the food because our order was forgotten. But there was generous compensation.🙂

Good food in a nice, quiet environment, service depends on the person and unfortunately sometimes poor. Hospitals block beds, restaurants should block tables if there are no staff. It's better to have half the shop full of satisfied guests than a full house and a bad atmosphere. We were there quite soon after opening time on a Sunday and were warmly welcomed by an older, appreciated "local" service person. The menu was quickly presented, quickly followed by the drinks and the main course (delicious!) was on the table after only about 15 minutes. But then... The restaurant was filling up, but not even half of the tables were occupied. Inside there was a larger group of around 20 people who took up all of "our" service staff. In the meantime two more waitresses had joined us...but unfortunately they couldn't manage it at all. No further requests for drinks, no glance in our direction... During their run we ordered the dessert menu from a lady (which we received after about 10 minutes) and also the dessert we had chosen. After more than half an hour we still didn't have dessert and asked if we had been forgotten...No, no, our colleague was preparing it right now... Finally, due to time constraints, we canceled the dessert and asked for the bill. Then our waitress from the beginning was suddenly back at the table, asking what the dessert was, it could "go out right now" and there was "a lot going on". We certainly understood that, but we ran out of time (work called). The bill came promptly and the lady was obviously sorry that we were dissatisfied... Conclusion - delicious food, but unfortunately the poor service left a bitter aftertaste. The prices are too high for that. Too bad.

Great location... the food was a culinary delight. If you like fish and seafood, this is the right place for you. Simply a well-rounded thing. I would recommend resaving. We'd love to come back.

I'm not going there anymore. - It's a shame, but a restaurant that isn't able to get the bones out of the fish fillets in three consecutive visits doesn't deserve the name. The waitress, who I always kindly pointed out this defect (more than 12 thick bones in the fish "fillet"), became rude and said that the fish was just "fresh". There are other, better restaurants in Hooksiel that can handle fish. Even the local fish snack bar can do better. - You won't see me in the bridge again. It's a shame because the atmosphere is nice.

From the friendly staff welcomed and served to the fantastic food, everything impressed us here. Yes, the prices aren't bargains, but you get freshly prepared food that wasn't delivered frozen. If you want, you can also watch how the food is freshly prepared. When you enter, you walk right past the grill, where the fish is prepared and fried potatoes are prepared in a huge pan. I can't praise it enough, all I can say is make a reservation inside or outside depending on the weather and enjoy delicious food by the water.

Had dinner there with the family yesterday. The service was very good. The employees are very fond of children. My son got his food first. That alone is worth 5 points. There was a menu to color, puzzles and at the end a lovingly designed gift bag. Thank you for that. The mystery has caught the attention of the men at the table. It wasn't inserted completely and so solution boxes were missing. They racked their brains until they asked the waitress if the puzzle was really supposed to be like that. 😂 The fish was very well fried and tasted great. It really worth a visit.
