Since the fish stall at the harbor was unfortunately closed, we went to the "Brücke" this time. They had a delicious lunch menu, and dogs were warmly welcomed. They immediately offered him a bowl of water and a treat. The food was delicious, the atmosphere charmingly rustic, and the service incredibly friendly. It was a real pleasure... we'd go back anytime, highly recommended!!

Hello, we were at the Brücke restaurant today and were treated to exceptionally friendly and attentive service – this made our visit truly enjoyable and is sadly not something you can take for granted these days. A big thank you to the entire team! The ambiance is unique and very inviting. For starters, we had the fish soup – highly recommended! My wife chose the goat cheese and was equally delighted. The fish dishes and desserts were excellent and perfectly rounded off our culinary experience. However, there's room for improvement with the dessert; unfortunately, a pre-made product was used. In short: We'll definitely be back – not least because of the fantastic service! UPDATE: We've now been back to the restaurant and can confirm our initial experience. Good food and excellent service. Here's to another visit!

This was our first time eating there. The staff seemed overwhelmed and inattentive. Since we were a larger group, we had to pre-order. Unfortunately, the meat and fish were only served with fried potatoes and boiled potatoes. We would have liked sauces, remoulade, and warm vegetables. A real shame. If we go there again as a couple, we will definitely order à la carte.

A fantastic experience and highly recommended! We passed by the Brücke during our bike tour and were able to make a reservation for the same evening. A great atmosphere, super friendly service staff who kept everything running smoothly even on a busy Friday night. The food is excellent. We opted for the pumpkin soup and fried mussels with scrambled eggs, roasted potatoes, and salad. Superb! Generous portions, beautifully presented, a true culinary delight. Now, a note for all dog owners: dogs are very welcome at the Brücke. That's great! Perhaps you should consider beforehand whether a restaurant visit is suitable for your four-legged friend. Unfortunately, at the next table to ours, there were two very restless dogs who barked loudly at every other dog. This wasn't pleasant for the staff or the other guests. A big thank you again to the service staff who made the best of it with smiles. We'll definitely be back next weekend in Hooksiel. Thank you for the wonderful evening.

It's always nice here, although the staff can be a bit more assertive and the prices are higher. It's a pleasant location, and they offer a wide variety of dishes. Afterwards, the restaurant's location invites you to take a stroll along the dike.

My wife and I wanted to have a delicious meal at this restaurant around 2:00 p.m. on a Saturday. We sat down and asked for the menu. Then came the surprise: We were given a small menu card with the note that from 2:00 p.m. onward, they only offer a snack menu. All I can say is: Saturday 2:00 p.m. is the best time to eat; and then there are hamburgers and currywurst.

Another successful visit! Everyone was happy, from ages 2 to 70!

Tip for connoisseurs This restaurant is an experience!!! 17 of us visited this beautiful restaurant. We booked a smoked fish evening in advance. This costs €38.50 per person. Here, guests learn how fish is smoked and preserved. Various types of fish were prepared. These included eel, mackerel, gurnard, salmon, and halibut. This fish was taken warm from the oven and distributed with forks right in front of the oven for everyone to try. Eel was served traditionally on black bread, with salmon with mustard and honey cream and mixed peppercorns. Furthermore, the other types mentioned above were available to guests according to their taste and preference. After the first tasting, an appetizer of a mixed salad and a fresh vinaigrette was served. During this time, the very welcoming owner of the restaurant cut the remaining fish onto serving platters and then served it to us. The service is particularly noteworthy! Super friendly and very attentive. We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back. All in all, a fantastic evening in a beautiful, maritime-style restaurant with great, professional staff and excellent food. Highly recommended for connoisseurs.

We were there for the first time in the evening on the summer terrace, and despite the rain, there was a roof – the view was incredible and it was very cozy. I had a really nice time there with my parents; everything was delicious: the soup and desserts, the presentation, the service 👍🏼. Another huge advantage for me personally was that you can also bring your dog. We left with a very pleasant impression 🧡🧡 and I'll be happy to share the contacts for this restaurant with my friends.

⭐️⭐️☆ – Such a shame what our favorite restaurant has become This fish restaurant was our favorite place to spend the evenings for a long time – great ambiance, good food, a wonderful feeling. But unfortunately, it has declined considerably. The Aperol Spritz, which we ordered extra strong and without water, came with (8!) ice cubes and tasted almost exclusively of Prosecco and water. The drinks with the meal only arrived after we asked for them, and the white wine was warm – even after complaining, it remained unchanged, without apology, and we still charged for it! So, the meal only tasted half as good! The food isn't as good as it used to be, and for a fish dish costing over 30 euros, you simply have to expect more – it's no small feat, after all. Overall, everything seemed very unprofessional. It's a shame, because the ambiance is still beautiful – but the service and quality aren't what they used to be. We probably won't be coming back, because now we have had a bad experience for the third time in a row😖

Highly recommended, with delicious fresh fish dishes and truly friendly, attentive service. When the weather is nice, there's a great outdoor terrace, and much of the interior is very fresh and newly decorated. It will definitely become a regular restaurant.

Yesterday, I visited the Brücke fish restaurant with my girlfriend, and it was an experience from start to finish. From the moment you arrive, you feel welcome – almost like you're at home. For starters, we had the fish soup and the crab soup: both wonderfully creamy and a real treat. You can already tell that the kitchen cooks with love. For the main course, my girlfriend chose the smoked salmon with leaf spinach, while I chose the fish platter with various fillets, shrimp, and fried potatoes. Everything was delicious – fresh, perfectly prepared, and full of flavor. The sea bass on my platter was a particular highlight: I haven't had fish this good in a long time. Kudos to the kitchen. A big compliment also to the service: very attentive, warm, and caring – and they helped us choose our main courses with lots of patience and helpful tips. You simply feel like you're in the best hands. Conclusion: delicious, delicious, delicious – a solid 10, actually a 12 out of 10! A restaurant that definitely needs to be recommended.

We discovered the restaurant on a bike ride. It was incredibly delicious. I almost never eat fish on vacation, but I dared to try the fish platter, and what can I say? It was simply fantastic; every fish tasted delicious. The service was super friendly. Fridays are smokehouse nights; everything is explained to you and you can taste the food beforehand. We immediately made another reservation for our last day of vacation, next Friday. The price is on the high side, but it's justified, as everything is fresh. And don't forget the house liqueur; it tastes amazing, too. All in all, 5 stars. If there were more stars, they would definitely deserve it.

I ate at the restaurant "Die Brücke" with my mother, and unfortunately, it wasn't a good experience for us. I ordered a crab and crab soup and specifically asked beforehand whether it was freshly cooked. The answer was "yes," although they admitted that they used crab paste. When I asked if the soup was at least boiled with crab shells and meat, they also said "yes." This was definitely not the case—as a chef, I can tell the difference. The soup tasted distinctly of paste, without any trace of freshly boiled shells, and even caused me discomfort within a short time. My mother ordered herring fillets with housewife sauce and quark. While the portion was generously coated in sauce, the quality was disproportionate to the price. I had a Wiener Schnitzel "style." While the meat was tender and cooked through, it was pork breaded in panko flour with Asian seasoning, which didn't suit the dish at all. For the price, I would have expected better quality and a more traditional preparation. The fried potatoes were also anything but convincing – mushy, not crispy, and very average in taste. Overall, in my opinion, the restaurant is significantly overpriced, and the dishes are disappointing in both quality and taste, and therefore unfortunately, I cannot recommend them.

It's rare that I give everything five stars, but yesterday, my first visit to the Restaurant Brücke Hooksiel, truly deserves it. From the outside, it's a mixture of ship (an old ship's bridge adorns the building) and concrete blocks; inside, it's a wonderful blend of ship museum and restaurant. You'll always find more interesting things in this wonderful setting. Four of us arrived without a reservation and received a very friendly welcome. We were seated at a beautifully prepared table, where we were immediately presented with a beautifully designed, clear menu (note: huge menus = poor food quality). We had chanterelle soup as a starter and various fish dishes. All the dishes were absolutely superbly prepared, attractively presented, and if you wanted, you could even watch them being prepared in the open kitchen. For drinks, we opted for various aperitifs and soft drinks, followed by a glass of rosé, which we were able to sample beforehand without any problems. All in all, an experience, exactly (!!!) what you'd want when going out to eat. Service (many thanks to our server Jasmin and her colleague for the friendly and humorous service), food/drinks, ambiance (the outdoor seating is also very nice), and even the restrooms are super clean. I'm happy to spend money on evenings like this. It's not just a place to get full, but also something special and an experience. We'll be back!

We stumbled upon this place by chance. Around 4:15 PM, there was only a small menu. From 5:30 PM onward, the menu was large. After asking, we were served a different meal due to health reasons. Thanks for that, and best regards to the kitchen. We'll be back.

The bridge is a real eye-catcher even from the outside, oozing charm and decorated with great attention to detail. The dishes are cooked and presented with equal attention to detail and harmony! The soups could be a bit hotter for my taste, but they taste excellent. The main courses are also beautifully presented and tasted fantastic! I can definitely recommend this restaurant! Everything was delicious, the service was friendly and knowledgeable, and the ambiance was cozy and special. However, we found it a bit noisy due to the guests' conversations, so it deducted a point. Perhaps some insulation could be added to the ceiling.

The "Brücke" restaurant in Holksiel impresses across the board. From the outside, it initially appears rather unassuming, but this impression disappears immediately upon entering. Inside, you're greeted by a cozy atmosphere with maritime decor – bright, tasteful, and with many loving details that perfectly match the coastal location. The culinary experience was a complete delight. The fish platter was excellently selected: fresh, varied, and perfectly prepared. The crayfish soup as an appetizer was also a real highlight – creamy, delicately seasoned, and intensely flavorful. The service was attentive, friendly, professional, yet unobtrusive. For me, the service was at least as good as the food. Excellent! All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable evening in a restaurant that impresses with quality, warmth, and authentic charm. If you're looking for good food in a relaxed, North German atmosphere, this is the place for you!

The plaice fillet was overcooked (dry and hard on the outside) and relatively tasteless. On the other hand, all four were completely oversalted. We pointed this out to the female waitress, who simply said that the chef must have been in love. Two of the fried potatoes were good, and three were unseasoned. It's a shame about the money; there are other restaurants these days that do better fish—especially for that price. The bridge used to be great. Six of us had specifically made the trip there because the bridge used to be a guarantee of well-cooked fish. Now it was more reminiscent of mass-produced tourist fare. A real shame.

During our visit, the fish was well-cooked, but unfortunately not seasoned at all. The fish I ordered was replaced without prior notice and only announced when we were served. We didn't see our server for almost 45 minutes afterward. We then had to go to the counter to pay. That was a no-go, unfortunately.

We had a delicious dessert with coffee. The price was reasonable, but unfortunately, we expected the lava cake to be chocolate... it wasn't, and it tasted "interesting." The young lady serving us was very accommodating; I recommend it.

Four of us made a last-minute reservation, which was absolutely necessary given the restaurant was almost full, for dinner after a day trip to the Brücke. The staff was friendly and attentive, and we were spontaneously offered a table by the window that became available. We ordered four different fish dishes, all of which were served together after a reasonable amount of preparation time, with a generous side salad arriving beforehand. According to my companion, the fresh fish was excellent, as were my herring versions, seasoned in various ways, not too salty, and the fried potatoes were perfectly crispy and very tasty. Everything was top-notch. The atmosphere inside, with its maritime decor, was also harmonious. The exterior of the building, however, is more in keeping with the industrial harbor, but still fits in there. We all enjoyed it very much, and the detour to the outer harbor was worthwhile.

Very nice restaurant in a beautiful location. We had Wiener Schnitzel with fried potatoes and a fresh mixed salad. There was no long wait for ordering or for the food to be served. The price/performance ratio was completely reasonable.

We've eaten here many times, traveling over an hour for the delicious fish. Unfortunately, the restaurant has changed a lot since last year. The ambiance is still very nice, but unfortunately, the quality of the food has deteriorated significantly. Every fish was overcooked and very dry, as well as very salty. Fried potatoes, which were always particularly good, are now just burnt and undercooked. Unfortunately, we'll have to find a new restaurant.

For years, we've enjoyed dining at the Brücke and have even celebrated family celebrations there. Unfortunately, the value for money is no longer appropriate. It's clear to everyone that everything has become more expensive, but charging €35 for a plaice, for example, borders on outrageous. We had the fisherman's breakfast three times and the smoked fish platter once. The men at the table weren't satisfied with the fisherman's breakfast. The smoked fish was warmed, which wasn't good for my taste; normal room temperature would have been better. The accompanying salad was missing dressing. When we asked, the waitress replied that we had horseradish for that. I assume it was the trainee. Our actual server, on the other hand, was very friendly and competent. The ambiance is still great. It's all the more regrettable for us that we probably won't be eating there again. A real shame.

Don't be put off by the hall-like facade, which is the first thing you see from the parking lot. Inside, it's quaint and cozy, the food is delicious, and the staff is friendly. The rose-covered windows offer a view of the garden terrace and the sluice.

The restaurant is within walking distance of Hooksiel's outer harbor and boasts a truly beautiful, maritime-inspired ambiance. The menu is somewhat limited during the day, but the food itself was very tasty and freshly prepared. Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired: There were only two menus available for six people, making it difficult to choose. Drinks orders had to be placed quickly, even though the lack of menus left little time to get your bearings. Even simple orders were delayed or required repeated requests from the waiter. Overall, the service was the biggest shortcoming in an otherwise appealing restaurant.

Leider kamen wir in der von der Bedienung als „Übergangszeit von der Mittagszeit zur Abendkarte“ bezeichneten Phase und bekamen nur eine kleine Karte. Dies führte zur Verwunderung, da die Nachbartische noch große Karten in der Hand hielten, aus denen sie wählen durften. Zudem sollten wir eine Wartezeit von mindestens 20 Minuten (die Dame im Hintergrund sprach von 30 Minuten) einplanen, obwohl das Restaurant bei Weitem nicht voll besetzt war. Begründung: Die Küche hatte vorhin viel zu tun. Von einem Besuch gegen 14 Uhr ist daher abzuraten!
