Restaurant blueStar in Bad Wörishofen

Unfortunately, the restaurant no longer exists. It's now occupied by a rather poor Italian bistro with a limited menu and only open from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (the last time you can order there). What a shame!

We really enjoy eating here; the food is delicious. The owners and all the staff are very friendly. Everyone here is also very child-friendly, and we also enjoy eating here with our grandson.

If you would like to drink a polished shandy, you are in the right place here. The boss's reaction is that if the barrel runs out, so be it. No chance of a replacement and the full price is insisted upon. That was definitely our last visit here. It's a shame because the salad wasn't cheap but it was tasty. Apparently they don't want regular customers here!

Exorbitant price for 4cl of water with espresso For an espresso without water, which is already expensive at €2.50, you charge an additional 30 cents, arguing that everyone in Bad Wörishofen does it that way and that the water price per cubic meter (1000 liters) is currently around €4.30... converted, 4cl of water would fall at a profit margin of over 10,000%. That's extortion to the power of a thousand.

It's such a shame, we always loved coming here, even without visiting the thermal baths. But after today's visit (4:30 p.m. on Family Saturday), none of us will be coming back. Two tables away, an older gentleman was sitting with the bar's "boss," apparently wanting to enjoy his beer in peace. Our 16-month-old son was sitting obediently on his chair, but was playing with the waitress (the only child-friendly one there). He was always happy when she came out of the kitchen and waved to him. Suddenly, we were told we weren't the only ones there and should chastise our child. (No kind words.) We were stunned! He was just playing, not crying or running around—none of that! Our food arrived, but we were constantly being watched and heard the grumbling at that table the whole time. In the resulting discussions, we had to listen to things like: - this generation is useless (we're both around 30) - we're all uneducated and rude - we have no manners and a whole lot of other things... I was spoiled for choice (I didn't even touch it because I was crying). When the "boss" noticed we were leaving, he IMMEDIATELY jumped up and called the waitress so we could pay. I'm sorry, but if these gentlemen are bothered by children's noise at their regular table, then they can't indulge in it on Family Saturdays or hang up a sign saying: Quiet please, or no children at all!

If you want to be insulted by the owner, then you should sit here. In his Stone Age ideas, he actually insulted and insulted our daughter and grandson (1.5 years old). It was too loud for him. Although our grandson only reacted positively to the friendly attention from his own employees (waitress). We ate here often, but that was the end of it. Please don't go there anymore. Don't you still support people like that.

Very good food, very friendly service, beautiful location. The only thing that bothers me is the very aggressive smell of chlorine in the entrance area when I go in and out.

Of course it's not a bargain in terms of price. It's probably due to the location. There's certainly better food for this price somewhere else. But totally fine on site. A tip from me. A slice of bread for goulash soup. I would have happily paid 50 cents more with bread

We have been guests at the thermal baths for years and after relaxation comes food. The same quality for years, service very polite and fast. Food always comes hot and at the same time. The salad dressing is amazing 👍🏻 Cakes and tarts are also very tasty. Price/performance is right. Always happy 😃

Very warm hosts. Here you can tell that people cook with passion. Despite his advanced age, the head of the restaurant, Mr. Mayer, is still in the kitchen every day and takes care of every guest's needs. The whole family also helps together here. There were three of us there and we were served very quickly and friendly. The food we ordered also came to our table very quickly and was extremely tasty. We would definitely like to come back. Thank you very much again.

The menu is manageable and the food tastes good - albeit a bit hearty with a lot of butter/oil. The guest WiFi, which is in the name of the restaurant, has not worked for 20 (?) years. You can only pay with cash. Somehow this restaurant has remained stuck in the last millennium. So there is still some room for improvement for possible improvements.

My friend and I had very good experience at blueStar restaurant. The service was impeccable. The young waitress can also speak English fluently. A vegetarian alternative dish was offered that wasn't already on the menu, which my friend accepted. I had sirloin of beef with fries and pepper sauce. The food came quickly, at the same time and was excellent. We'd love to come back.

Ich würde gerne sagen , dass alles beim Bestellvorgang wunderbar funktioniert hat. Ich kann dies aber leider nicht. Ich habe dort mit einer Begleit Person dinniert. Als meine Begleit Person mit Essen fertig war. Wurde mein Essen erst geliefert.

Ein gutes Bistro/ Restaurant, welches unabhängig von der Therme besucht werden kann. Liegt gleich nach dem Haupteingang der Therme linker Hand, gegenüber dem Kneipp Shop. Es gibt eine große Auswahl an Kuchen zum Kaffee, sowie viele Hauptgerichte. Hier kocht der Chef persönlich, und die Frau leitet den Service. Wie sind immer sehr gerne hier, weil das Essen schmeckt, die Auswahl groß ist (viele Tages-/ Wochengerichte), das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis OK ist, und der Service nett und flott ist. Und die Essenszeit geht nicht von der Thermenzeit ab, drinnen gibt es nämlich keine Zeitgutschrift. Empfehlenswert finde ich das bluStar Putensteak, oder das Geschnetzelte - jeweils mit Rösti (siehe Foto). 😋 Immer wieder gerne! 👍
