We were there with the voucher book and still paid a lot of money. The portions were so small that none of us were seated. I wouldn't go there again

Despite the restaurant being full, two seats were found for us. Nice friendly service. Delicious food.

We went to this beautiful country inn this afternoon with the voucher booklet. We were greeted and served very politely. Each of us (5 people) was thrilled with each dish. The prices are absolutely normal, not at all too expensive. Later we ordered the cream puffs - an absolute delight and also recommended. We will be very happy to visit this inn again. We should all appreciate that such local restaurants still exist in these difficult times.

Good, homemade, simple gastronomy in a heavenly location. Anyone who would like to look at the distant mountains in the afternoon under clear apple trees in a beer garden atmosphere will feel right at home here. The schnitzels are baked in clarified butter (freshly breaded) and smell wonderful. The potato salad is homemade and absolutely delicious. Swabian cabbage doughnuts, home-made cakes, cheese pätzle. Everything tastes wonderful.

Great food, cream puffs are great! Veal cakes with potato salad are also very tasty. Prices totally reasonable. Service very friendly! Stay as you are! Oh, and of course the view is wonderful too 😀

Nice place and very friendly staff. The drinks were cold and good. The cream puffs that were brought over looked good. The quantity of our food was completely different to the internet pictures. It was worth a try.

We had the pleasure of sitting and eating in the Hartenthaler Hof beer garden. The service was extremely friendly and attentive, which made our visit very pleasant from the start. The food was simply delicious! We were particularly enthusiastic about the cream puffs with cream, which completely met our expectations. We were also able to enjoy the beautiful view, which gave the experience a special touch. The Hartenthaler Hof is definitely worth a visit – we would love to come back!

A well-known and popular excursion restaurant that we only visit during the week. On weekends all hell breaks loose here. The food is good, the small menu doesn't bother you, the service is very friendly and accommodating, but a piece of cake (not a cake) for 4.50 euros is very expensive. You'd better bake yourself again 😉

Leider hatten wir einen schlechten Tag erwischt. Der Schweinebraten war nur einen kleinen Stücken auf dem Teller anstatt einer Scheibe, wahrscheinlich beim Schneiden zuerfallen, sah unappetitlich aus. Der Beilagensalat für 6,- Euro nur grüner Salat, etwas Karotten- und Bohnensalat, keine Tomate oder Gurke. Der Latte Macchiatto für 5.20 Euro ist ein stolzer Preis.

A must for lovers of home-style cuisine, typical Bavarian coziness and an idyllic location. Value for money, service friendly and fast, reservation recommended.

Very inflexible - snacks are only available from 2 p.m. and they weren't able to serve me one at 1 p.m., even though I said several times that I didn't want to eat anything warm. The waitress offered cake or cream puffs instead, but didn't stay at the table long enough to answer my questions about the types or alternatively cream puffs. Good service can be different!

Quiet location. Nice beer garden. In the distance you can see the Alps behind the trees and bushes. Kitchen closed at 5:30 p.m. and therefore not even the possibility of a small cold meal or dessert. Service a bit rough.

A country inn straight out of a picture book! And therefore very well attended! The possible wait for a free spot outside when the weather is nice is worth it and there is a great view with a postcard idyll, for which there are benches and a large wooden platform in front of the restaurant for those who don't want to sit in the meadow! The food is great, we had cream mushrooms with bread dumplings, mixed salad and treated ourselves to a sandwich. Homemade, real farmer's bread with homemade butter! The cream mushrooms were bursting with chanterelles and the dumplings were just like grandma used to make! The “small” side salad was also colorful, fresh and rich! We had only arrived in the afternoon, there was still enough choice of food, but what was striking was that this inn seems to be famous for its XXL cream puffs with fruit, which almost everyone around us had ordered! Unfortunately it didn't fit in with us after the big meal, but it's a reason to come back just for it! A big compliment to the Harthentaler Hof! It couldn't be better!

The restaurant is located just outside of Bad Wörishofen. I found the prices to be a bit more expensive. But the food was really great and plenty for normal eaters. Parking is possible, I found the selection on the menu to be a bit too limited for food. But I'll always be happy to go there again, just to try the big cream puffs.

Very nice restaurant with a small beer garden, food was very good. The giant cream puffs are worth every cent, really tasty.

I can't recommend this cafe at all. The waitresses are absolutely unfriendly and rude towards their guests. The prices are totally overpriced, for example a blackcurrant spritzer costs €5.30 (more than alcoholic drinks). We had planned a leisurely trip and in the end we were just horrified by the service, the incredibly bad mood of a waitress and the endless waiting times - all in all, definitely the worst choice compared to similar cafés in the area. I can therefore strongly advise against stopping at Café Hartenthal.

Beautiful traditional Allgäu restaurant with down-to-earth dishes that are freshly prepared with regional ingredients. Unfortunately, such places are increasingly dying out and are being replaced by Italians, Greeks, Turks, Chinese, etc

This is a beautiful place to unwind. Very few people know that there is a church service in the chapel on Sundays and that the priest also helps out at the bar.

Actually price performance is no longer ok. But what can you expect in these times? Kässpatzen were only served lukewarm with a mixed salad that was only green. The potato salad with the minced cakes only comes from a bucket. It looks like you're paying for the view that wasn't there that day.

Tried it for the second time, the donuts were very tasty. My husband had non-alcoholic Nordbräu beer. He's never had such a bad beer, ! not drunk! And for 4.50 euros which I find impossible as it has the same high price as a normal beer. Here you live from the view A pity !!

When the weather is nice, you have a wonderful view of the mountains from this inn, with the Zugspitze on the left and the Nebelhorn on the right. The service in the restaurant is excellent and very friendly. I was tempted by the homemade cream puffs. They looked very good too. Only the thing about the cream was a little too well-intentioned. My digestive tract then had to work at full speed. Next time I'll have an apple pie without cream.

Dear readers, I'll start with the positive things, there are a lot of them: The service was super nice. And super fast. We were there on a Saturday around 1330. What's also great is that warm food is served throughout. The location is fantastic, beautiful mountain views. The atmosphere is also really nice. Herrgottswinkel, even two of them, cozy tiled stove with beautiful decoration. Oh, and there is also a visually pretty menu. Now we come to the two stars for the food or three stars overall: There are not many dishes on the menu. That in itself isn't bad, in fact it's good. Less powder, more homemade. The prices are also quite ok for today's standards. The dishes are available in standard size, or in “large” for an additional charge of €2. We decided on the roast pork. That was probably a mistake. Let's stick with the positive: My wife ordered regular, I ordered large. The difference was €2, 1 dumpling and 2 slices of meat. Basic price 15 €, for me it's 17 €. You really can't complain. But what really didn't work was the sauce. Opinions can be divided about the roast itself. Yes, at 1:30 p.m. it's no longer fresh and just gets a little drier. Swam over it. But what really messed it up was the sauce. Bitter, salty and watery. The waitress assured us that the sauce was made from bones and so on. How to make a good sauce. May be. I don't know. The deep black color can actually only come from caramel. The bitter taste, hmmm, beer added at the wrong time. But that's all the food. Conclusion: We certainly won't be making a special trip there to eat in the near future. But it's great for a hot drink with a great panorama after a nice hike. And maybe the sauce will be good. Then I would like to give 5 stars.

One of the few inns where people still cook according to the old custom without finished products.....there are fewer and fewer people who do that....Unfortunately one of them

Die Windbeutel ganz Okay. Aber für einen Rührkuchen mit Kirschen 4.70€ ist zu teuer. War gut aber nochmal muss man es nicht haben

Sehr schön gelegenes Ausflugslokal. Bei guten Wetter und Föhn hat man ein traumhaftes Alpen Panorama vom Biergarten aus. Dieser könnte jedoch etwas liebevoller gestaltet werden. Der Zwiebelrostbraten war klasse und alle anderen Essen am Tisch waren auch hervorragend. Personal war durchgehend äußerst freundlich, und das obwohl der Biergarten, sowie das Lokal drinnen komplett voll war. Preise etwas gehoben, aber noch fair. Eine Reservierung empfiehlt sich auf jeden Fall. Werde auf jeden Fall wieder dort hingehen. Klare Empfehlung!

Schöne Terasse mit sensationellem Ausblick, nettes Personal, gutes Essen mit wechselnden Gerichten.

Nach einem ausgedehnten Spaziergang hier gelandet und glücklich und zufrieden wieder weiter gegangen. Die Windbeutel sind riesig und echt zu empfehlen. Die Speisekarte ist an "Urigkeit" nicht zu übertreffen....Wir mussten sogar Übersetzungshilfe anfordern 🤣

Update 25.09.2023: Nachdem wir mittlerweile die Einschulung unseres Kindes dort gefeiert haben, sind wir samstags spontan eingekehrt und uns wurde kein Wunsch verwehrt. Das Gemüse (s. Bild) war frisch, der Beilagensalat besteht aus mehreren verschiedenen frisch zubereiteten Salaten. Einfach in einem Wort "köstlich". Zum wiederholten Male ein sehr angenehmer Besuch um Gasthof. Sehr köstliches Essen und äußerst freundliche Bedienung. :) Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Ich habe letzte Woche meinen Geburtstag im Hartenthaler Hof gefeiert und es war einfach ein wunderschöner Tag. Unsere Tische waren super schön geschmückt, das Essen war sehr lecker und der Service war den ganzen Tag über klasse. Vielen Dank an euch! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Beautiful, absolutely stunning views of the Alps, the entire chain in the distance. Please be advised: they are closed up to 3 days a week due to long term personnel shortage. Hotel is open, famous restaurant is the one that is often closed. You can still take the bus there (free with your Kur karte/tourist papers) and launch wonderful hikes.

Wunderschöner Biergarten super Essen

Neben der Freundlichkeit ist die Sauberkeit zu erwähnen. Händedesinfektion beim Betreten und auch beim Toilettengang, Wechsel der Stofftischdecke nach jedem Gast. Die Küche zaubert ein leckeres Essen, auch für das Auge (siehe beigefügtes Bild). Der „stramme Max“ war für den Preis sehr stramm. Den Windbeutel wagte ich nicht zu bestellen. Der der hat die Größe eines Sturmsacks.

Nicht nur wunderbares Bergpanorama im gemütlichen Garten, auch die Küche ist ausgezeichnet. Wir haben diverse Kuchen, Windbeutel, Wurstsalat und Kässpatzen gegessen, alles super und hausgemacht- lecker!!
