Plate a`la Chef No. 68: tasty, large portion. Somewhat dry meat. Tzatziki was a bit small. Rice could be better. Salad of your choice buffet 👍 Afroditi 67: tasty, well grilled, large portion. 👍 My ouzo was only 1/2 full (in stress).😉 We'll definitely go there again🤤

**Review: Gyrospita** Unfortunately, the Gyrospita didn't convince me. The gyros tasted more like a mixture of a stir-fry and classic gyros, which clearly missed expectations. . Overall, a very subpar experience. Anyone looking for an authentic gyro will be disappointed here.

This restaurant is also one of the best with its cuisine. The price-performance ratio was right here. There was plenty of salad on the plate from the buffet so you could take as much as you wanted.

It was a great evening with my family.

No long waiting times for drinks, appetizers or dinner. Food was very tasty. At the salad buffet everything was clean and appealing and also very fine dressings. Service very attentive. Special requests were no problem.

At first we asked ourselves: why vacation on Langeoog and go out for a Greek meal? Then our 7-year-old son wanted to eat lamb and gyros. Result: in the last 3 days on Langeoog we visited Kostas 3 times and were overjoyed with the food and the entire experience. The gyros are of very good meat quality (not inferior gristle meat), the souvlaki are juicy, the bifteki are seasoned with fresh herbs, and the lamb chops are garnished with aromatic pieces of garlic. PS: the portions are also very decently sized (see photos) and the prices are more than reasonable for the island (18-23 euros for grilled plates)

A holiday on Langeoog would not be a holiday without Kostas and the friendly support from Stelios. We enjoyed a delicious dinner in the nicest weather.

We happened upon this restaurant on our trip home. The children could play outside with the sandbox and slide and we had a delicious meal. Friendly host and fast service, exactly what we needed during our transit.

Ordered a Gyros Pita to take away yesterday. 8.50 euros. If I had unpacked them beforehand, I would have returned them. Bread was already torn and packaged cold. Completely neutral in taste. Only gyros, fries, tomatoes and minimal tzatziki on top. That was nothing at all

We always enjoy visiting Kostas. You will be welcomed and served in a very friendly and attentive manner. A chat with Kostas or Stelios is part of the supporting program. Our favorite meal is the warm appetizer platter. Excellent and highly recommended! We find the prices to be fair.

Be careful before reordering ⚠️ Metaxa with fries, rice and salad all costs 19.00 euros. Individual prices for rice and fries are 4.50 euros each and 5.00 euros for salad. I just wanted the meat in the metaxa sauce. I was told there was more meat in the box because I didn't want fries, rice and salad. Box wasn't fuller than usual. And a full 19.00 euros were still collected. In my eyes as a restaurateur, that's an impertinence, sorry. The calculation could have been made fair to customers. But quality is really good.

Unfortunately we weren't happy tonight. The meat was very hard or consisted mainly of fat. The staff was very rushed and processed us quickly. At least the 7 of us were able to spontaneously sit outside. All in all, unfortunately not recommended at all

We didn't have a reservation on our first evening on Langeoog, but we were seated at an outside table. Unfortunately we didn't like it there because there was a strong wind. We then asked for the food to be taken away. The boss quickly set up an outside table in the restaurant and it was a cozy evening. The rollator we brought with us was also taken care of. Great and thank you very much for your commitment. The restaurant was busy and he still made an effort to look after us.

You can make a reservation, but you won't get a table and therefore no food. That says it all about this restaurant and my experience.

We were happy to get a table spontaneously. However, this was in a room directly adjacent to the toilets. The ambience, especially in terms of the decoration, needs to be improved; there may be people who might find it seem thrown together and kitschy. The food wasn't a highlight, but the taste was OK. The portion size was sufficient, the service was friendly, and the waiting time was quite short. All in all, more of a snack bar than a restaurant.

The restaurant is very poor. The atmosphere is rather unattractive for Greek cuisine, although we have a lot of experience in Greek cuisine, my wife and I have never tried it, but here it was the other way around. The food was very poor, and what's more, I got a raw gyros, a weak salad, as if it were bought from a supermarket, ready-made products and this one. I would not recommend the smell of fried oil in the place to anyone.

Ich war hier 2x Essen während meines Besuchs auf Langeoog. Am 1. Abend war mir nach dem Essen klar, dass ich noch einmal hin muss. Das Essen war sehr gut zubereitet und der Service top. Das Restaurant ist etwas klein, aber ich bekam ohne Probleme einen Platz. Beide Male wurde ich nicht enttäuscht. Die Preise sind (wie auf der ganzen Insel), etwas höher, aber hier lohnt es sich definitiv. Kann man nur weiterempfehlen.

Der beste Grieche Langeoog's! Nach den Bewertungen sind wir zwei Mal um den Laden rumgeschlichen und haben uns dann reingetraut. Nicht zu viel erwarten. Es ist ein Imbiss mit etwas spielunkigen Typen, die reinkommen und hinter die Theke in die Küche gehen. 😄 Fleisch ist vom Drehspieß und war nicht trocken. Man wird satt und es war ganz lecker. Laden war am Dienstag im November auch rappel voll! Overall okay.

Das Gyros hat leider mehr nach Fondor als nach mediterranen Gewürzen geschmeckt, das Tzaziki leider nicht nach Knoblauch. Die Preise sind o.k. Das Essen für mich leider nicht. Jeder sollte sich selber einen Eindruck machen, ich nicht mehr. Sorry Ach ja, fettgeschwängerte Luft ist auch nicht so prickelnd.

Wir kommen schon seit vielen Jahren immer wieder und das Essen ist weiterhin sehr gut, die Preise noch angemessen. Schade, dass das Restaurant nicht in anderen Räumlichkeiten- wie z.B. früher im Hotelkomplex Aquantis - untergebracht ist, denn dann wäre das Ambiente schöner. Aber trotzdem insgesamt prima.

Sehr leckeres Essen, vor allem die griechischen Gerichte. Die Bedienung ist freundlich, der Service gut. Das Restaurant liegt nur wenige Gehminuten vom Strand entfernt auf der linken Seite des Aquantis Hotels. Nach dem Essen kann man prima zum Hauptstrand spazieren. Wir waren heute wieder hier und haben hervorragend gegessen. Dazu muss man sagen, dass für Langeooger Verhältnisse die Preise echt günstig sind, die Qualität des Essens aber super ist. Sehr empfehlenswert. Vielen Dank, wir kommen gerne wieder hier hin und genießen die leckeren Gerichte!

Bei dem mitgenommen Gyrosgericht für Rund 11 Euro habe ich eine sättigende Portion erwartet, zumindest von den bekannten Griechen am Wohnort. Mengenmäßig war das hier eher eine Kinderportion. Geschmacklich war es ok, mehr aber nicht. Ich würde nicht nochmal hingehen.

Bei Kostas schmeckt das Essen wirklich hervorragend. Egal ob Gyros, Fleischspieße, Bifteki… Hier kann man also nichts falsch machen. Zudem sind die Preise für Inselverhältnisse moderat und die Portionen gut. Einzig das Ambiente ist nicht mehr auf der Höhe der Zeit. Aber das tut dem Essen ja keinen Abbruch. Jedenfalls klare Empfehlung!

Es ist bestimmt nicht leicht auf einer Insel insbesondere zu den jetzigen Zeiten. Aber es ist nun mal Gastgewerbe. Mit dem aktuellen Service ist das aber nur unzureichend gelebt. Es machte den Eindruck, dass man den geänderten Zeiten und somit seinen Gästen etwas hilflos gegenüber steht, was sich an der Laune widerspiegelt. Das Essen war für den einen super, für den anderen knapp ok. Mut zum Anschluss an die Aktualität, ggf mal eine kleine Beratung und ein netterer Umgang mit den Gästen wird sicherlich viel helfen. Wir drücken die Daumen!

Kostas hat eine bessere Bleibe verdient. Sehr gutes Essen auf Inselpreisniveau in einem Ambiente, das eher den Charme einer kleinen Grillstube hat. Gute Esser werden hier fündig bei hoher Qualität!

Ich war gestern am 6.8.2023 bei Kostas essen und es war ausgesprochen gut. Als Vorspeise Tsaziki sehr lecker mit warmen Brot dabei. Als Hauptgericht hatte ich einen Teller mit Leber, einem Fleischspiess und Gyros. Die Leber war zart, das Fleisch vom Spieß gut gegrillt und saftig. Das Gyros kross gebraten und lecker. Meine Frau hatte Hänchenbrust gebraten mit knoblauchbutter. Auch die war sehr zart, auf den Punkt gegart und lecker gewürzt. Dazu gab es Reis und Pommes. Auch diese Beilagen waren perfekt. Salat gibt es vom Salatbueffet. Zum Schluss gab es noch zwei Ouzo vom Haus. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und kommen nochmal gerne wieder.
