The food is excellent. Everything is just as it should be. But the best thing about the whole place is the superb service. I've rarely met such hardworking, friendly, and welcoming staff. They never leave your glass empty! 👌 Every single request is fulfilled without exception. I highly recommend the house platter! 👌👌👌

Super delicious, schnitzels are audibly pounded fresh in the kitchen. Friendly service and a bit of fun are a given here. A real feel-good factor! Plus, the price and quality are more than adequate.

I've been eating here for years. Now I wanted to write a review because they deserve it. The food is very good; I've never had anything I didn't like. The waiters are super friendly, and everyone knows each other by now. The ambiance is also very nice. All in all, I highly recommend the Balkan restaurant.

Disappointing experience under time pressure We were at the Balkan restaurant on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. and were told as soon as we sat down that our table was only available until 7:30 p.m. We weren't told about this beforehand and it disrupted the whole atmosphere - eating under time pressure is simply not enjoyable. We also had to wait a long time for our drinks at times, which made the situation even more unpleasant. Overall, the visit was disappointing as there was no relaxed atmosphere. It's a shame, we had hoped for more!

Really recommended. you respond directly to the guest's wishes. You don't have to wait long to be served and you don't have to wait long for the food either. I had the grill plate and didn't want any bacon. I was immediately given an alternative. will definitely come back.

The lunch menu is excellent. A soup of the day and a mixed salad are served with the main course. At the end there is a small dessert. The dishes are very tasty. The service is knowledgeable and very friendly. I've eaten there several times and go there regularly.

Were there last night as a couple, the ambience fits perfectly with the Balkans, the food deserves more than 5 stars and the whole service team is warm and friendly, you can tell it's not an act. The Balkan's ambience fits its name exactly. Service is quick and friendly. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. The only point of criticism is that the map is too international and not Balkan enough. I would have wished for more. Therefore only 4 stars for the food.

Seit dem ich in Leverkusen wohne gehe ich regelmäßig dort essen. Sowohl das Essen wie der Service sind unübertroffen. Selbst wenn die Servicekräfte total im Stress sind lassen sie es den Gast nicht merken, haben immer ein freundliches Wort und ein lächeln auf den Lippen. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und die Karte bietet eine große Auswahl an Speisen. Ich freue mich schon sehr auf den nächsten Besuch bei euch. Ein großes Lob und ein herzliches Dankeschön an das ganze Team!

5 Sterne sind noch zu wenig. Ein super schönes, gemütliches und tolles Restaurant. Das Essen ist super lecker und die Qualität ist Top. Die Bedienungen sind sooo lieb, freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Ich habe schon lange nicht mehr so eine Herzlichkeit erfahren. Ich war mit meiner Mutter und meiner kleinen Tochter (15 Monate) jetzt schon öfters da und wir wurden sehr liebevoll betreut. Ein Kinderstuhl gibt es auch.

Meine Frau und ich waren am Samstag das erste mal im Restaurant Balkan. Sehr schönes Ambiente mit guter Wohlfühlatmosphäre zu dem das supernette Personal einen großen Anteil hat. Das Essen war sehr gut, nur fanden wir es etwas arg fad gewürzt. Auch der Djuvec Reis war fad und zu wässrig. Also etwas besser würzen und es gibt 5 Sterne von uns. Preislich war es auch ok., nur fand ich den Preis für ein 0,5l Weizenbier doch sehr ambitioniert. Das gibt es in Opladen in Restaurants auch für bis zu 1,50€ weniger.

War heute zum zweiten Mal dort. Ich habe glaube ich noch nie zuvor so dermaßen gut gelaunte Bedienungen erlebt. Sehr nett, sehr höflich, sehr zuvorkommend. Ob Schnitzel, Cordon Bleu oder Steak. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Preise passen. Gerne wieder.

Wir waren heute im Rahmen einer Radtour im Restaurant Balkan und waren mehr als nur zufrieden. Wir hatten telefonisch einen Tisch für 7 Personen reserviert und wurden beim Eintreffen vom Personal sehr freundlich begrüßt. Die Mittagskarte, die die meisten von uns für eine Bestellung benutzten hatte für jeden Geschmack und das zu vernünftigen Preisen, etwas zu bieten. Besondere Erwähnung verdient allerdings das aufmerksame und überaus freundliche Personal im Service. Mit Rat und Tat gingen sie auf jeden noch so kleinen Wunsch ein. Wir waren allesamt der Meinung, dass wir bei einer unserer nächsten Touren gerne hier wieder einkehren wollen. 👍👍

Ich war heute zum 3. Mal zum Abendessen dort. Das Restaurant war bestens besucht. Bei der Begrüßung hatten wir trotzdem das Gefühl wie besondere Gäste empfangen zu werden. Besonders positiv empfand ich den Umgang mit den Kindern ( zügige Bereitstellung eines Kinderstuhles, Einhorntrinkhalme, Gurkenscheiben statt Salat, Eis zum Abschluss). Das Essen war - wie immer - sehr lecker, das Personal ausgesprochen freundlich!!!

Auf reservieren per Mail über Website wird nicht reagiert und wenn man dann ohne Reservierung kommt wird man abgewiesen obwohl nicht mal die Hälfte der Tische belegt ist. Sehr schade, zum Glück ist die Konkurrenz da flexibler und so wird es doch noch ein schöner Abend.
